give some context of who this guy is for
those of you who don't know
um this is saint anthony who was on
uh our song i am
thank you for having me uh i appreciate
being on here
i'm excited to talk about what we're
going to talk about today
yeah man we we chatted it up uh probably
a month ago
just kind of touching base with each
other we've been just over the internet
but did a little zoom hang out and you
dropped some deep knowledge on me man
about what you've been creating
you know at least the past year i know
for sure but you've been working on
something
for a long time this uh course this
program
teaching people about this oneness and
this mystical union and
people are getting healed people having
their lives changed and
encountering christ and the holy spirit
in deeper ways and
man i wanted i want to dive into that
and your story and your walk and how you
found
balance in the midst of this mystical
union which is
which is scary at times coming out of
christianity and
and you know i'm saying knowing that we
see god in a lot of other things that
most of the church realm doesn't so i
just want to hear your story man and
dive deep into that so
we'll get started for those who don't
know who you are what you bring to the
table just kind of give a quick overview
and we'll start there
all right so let's start with
um the work that i'm involved in now we
have a community called lord's house
community in miami florida um and the
tagline is a jesus community without
religion
um right now we're pretty small but
we're focusing on
um what i like to call the somatic
gospel
and that has to do with bringing the
entire nervous system
and all of the body into alignment with
the heavenly reality of our union with
christ
and we do that through deepening our
awareness
and belief in the gospel and removing
the veil of certain lies that our
subconscious that we believe in
and so my journey has been a long
journey
with the lord you know i have a long
history with the lord i got radically
saved after
almost overdosing on drugs um at 17
years old and
i've been walking with them ever since
but i've had i've had my
you know crazy times you know like i'll
give you timelines so i
became a believer around 2004
around that time um you can my my
testimonies on youtube
and then i stayed you know i was having
crazy miserable experiences with the
lord i encountered jesus
alone in my bedroom um i just felt his
spirit calling
um and then i continued on for a little
while i got
really caught in religion you know right
after that i saw an evangelist on the
street
he kind of you know shared jesus with me
i said a little prayer
and you know i just got into the church
after that and into religion and
the power and the supernatural that i
was experiencing alone with jesus
kind of just went away when i got sucked
into the church
i have not experienced the level of
supernatural
like just effortless that has hap that
happened like when i first
believed the gospel since then like
crazy things like i'll give you this one
story like
when i was when i just came to the lord
i was dating
this girl who would later on eventually
become
somebody i'm married no longer married
to but that's another story
um we were you know no one knew me as a
christian everybody knew
me as like a different type of person
you know
i was a break dancer i was you know kind
of like a little playboy and things like
that like no one know me as somebody
that would follow christ at all i was
like
one of the last people you expect so i'm
hanging out with
this girl i'm dating we're sitting
inside of a movie theater that's like a
huge mall on south beach in miami
and she's like oh so you're like into
religion now
all you know she's like oh you're a
church boy and she starts like poking at
me or whatever
and i'm like hey stop teasing me you
know this is really serious i really
believe in this now whatever
and she's like nah you know still
teasing you know i'm still young i'm a
teenager
and i yelled the top of my lungs i said
jesus and the entire
uh power and in the building shut down
and she looked at me like what just
happened
and so you see all the employees in the
building scurrying
running around trying to get the power
back on she's like oh that was just a
coincidence
that wasn't real so she keeps on with
the teasing and i do it again
and she's like jesus like stop and the
power shuts down
all over again so like those are the
kind of experiences that i was
experiencing
early on just with jesus you know so i
got into a religion you know
and i i've been on pretty much almost
every spectrum of theology that you
could even imagine been a calvinist been
charismatic been a pentecostal person
been a raptor obsessed person you know
what i mean i did the hebrew
i did the hebrew israelite thing
i did the you know return to hebrew
roots and only call him yeshua thing
yeah
you know i i've been a universalist i've
been all over the place
and even at one point you know because i
didn't understand like
trauma and that how trauma gets stuck in
the body and
i didn't understand limiting beliefs i
eventually left the church in
like 2014 and i did five years of diving
deep into the occult in the new age
i even at one point became a satanist
and
openly worshiped satan i don't know if
you followed during that time
possibly but it was it's a pretty crazy
time
and uh you know i was i was tripping man
and i thought that
there was and there are some things
right like which is the lord showed me
there's things in the new age that
he has his spirit on like we can learn
from them
but not everything right like we got to
learn how to chew on the meat and spit
out the bones
and so how he brought me back to him was
i was going through this special
training
on like training your consciousness and
like transformation it's like a
transformational training called
gratitude training in miami
and one of the questions they teach you
to ask
is what do i make up what what story do
i make up about this
or this part of my life so you take that
question you go okay what do i make up
about my past am i a victim or
whatever what do i make up about this
money success
you know what what narratives am i
filtering my whole life through and
eventually i got to jesus in the bible
and i was like dang i made up a whole
story about how god is not good
how i can't trust jesus i can't trust
the bible because
i projected my own pain onto god
and basically blamed him for all the
problems in my life
so i did a wager i was like all right
i'm gonna remove
all of my preconceived notions that came
from my pain
and my own you know judgments about god
so i said
if you're if you're real you will reveal
yourself to me as the truth
no lie because you know being in the new
age
i was convinced at one point oh i just
mentally psyched myself out to believe
in jesus
yeah no it was just a mental thing you
know i was indoctrinated and
so then here comes the story of how he
brought me back at the end of 2019.
i'm driving uber at the time and
at this point you know i'm still doing
my new age thing i literally have a
magical altar in my house
you know i'm dropping all kinds of
psychedelics and contacting entities and
weird stuff right at this point i'm like
i'm not really open to being a christian
anymore believing in jesus but
i'm i'm gonna let go of my anger towards
the church in christianity
so i'm driving this lady comes into the
back of my car with a little girl
and she has a bouquet of roses and we
start driving her to her destination
and i hear the voice of the lord which i
haven't heard in years
say tell her she can forgive her mom and
i'm driving i'm like
that's weird because i know the voice of
the spirit
yeah it's very distinct and
i was i saw the roses so i started like
okay
asking her questions to see if if
they're for her mom or something right
she's like no i'm gonna use these roses
to sell them on
hollywood beach so i can buy school
supplies for the little girl
so then i'm like all right this is you
lord you know at least give me an open
door to say something to her whatever we
pull up
to you know to our destination and
she says i just pray to jesus that i
could sell all these roses tonight
and right there i said hey before i let
you go
i have to tell you something i have a
word from god
and like this you usually doesn't happen
to me but
are you open to hearing that and me
praying for you you know and blessing
you so you can get money whatever she's
like yeah
so i said god god wants you to know that
you can forgive your mom
and her jaw drops open and the little
girl's looking at her like
how this man how does this man know
what's going on
and she's like i am having such a hard
time with my mother-in-law
not exactly her mom but in a sense her
right
and so i'm like okay i heard the lord
right maybe not the in-law
part but it was in that vicinity and
she's like we're going through a really
hard time
like there's a lot of like thief between
us and i'm like well you know you can
forgive her like
like release that forgiveness to her and
i know praying for her i bless her she's
like teary-eyed and like
so thankful and at that time i was
financially struggling really hard but i
took
20 bucks out of the 60 bucks that i had
to my name and i gave it to her and i
blessed her and said don't give me any
roses this is for you and as she's
walking out of the car
you know to con you know go on her
journey the little girl
you know she look she got out of the car
first and when she gets out she tugs on
the
on her shirt she's like mommy that was
god
and as soon as the dude that's like i
felt the presence of the lord like
crazy dude as soon as that car door
closed
and i start driving away the presents
like oh yeah
boom like exploded in my car bro and i'm
crying my eyes out like a baby bro
like i could just hear the father's
voice the love of the father like i love
you
i'm here for you like i've never turned
my back on you
like like i've always been pursuing you
like i just been hit like i heard all
this
love from the father and i was just like
i'm not supposed to be a christian
though i'm like what's happening to
ceremonies coming up yeah
bro i'm like i don't want to believe in
this i'm not supposed to believe in this
i'm a new age now
you know i practice magic you know i i
astral travel all that and it took me a
few weeks to kind of like
is this real like because i noticed my
heart started changing
and i wanted relationship with the lord
like
all the bitterness and the anger that i
had towards him the stories that i made
up were immediately
dissolved in the presence yes and
i was like dang like this is this is
really real like i
i i challenged god and he showed up
in a way that was like not just head
knowledge
but the true mystical supernatural
reality
of how we're one with him and
he used me in a moment in time where i
was rejecting him
when i hated him when i didn't want him
i didn't love him i was mad at him
and i was actively rebelling actively
worshiping and
practicing darkness and he still used me
to love on somebody and then like
he has his hook in me like there's
nothing that can separate us from the
love of god in christ jesus
that's real and i know that to be true
bro like
a hundred percent and so like i'm more
experienced
man that's the that is that what all the
new agers are looking for is that what
we're looking for
on plant medicines and marijuana and
astral travel and meeting
spirit guides you know is that praying
the saints like is that really what
we're looking for we're just trying to
like go in a different way or beat
around the bush
and this really easy mystical experience
that god
sets up or or all of those things you
know do they all have their place
i feel like
it's we're trying to get to the point of
what we were made
for which is union and participation
friendship relationship with the source
of our being
which is father son and spirit and so
what it when we're when the when we're
blinded
to the reality of our union with god
yeah
we look because we feel that ache it's
an
ache in us you know the word says that
eternity is
is in the heart of man and what's what's
that eternal realm is relationship
with the godhead and so we have that
ache you know we feel the echoes of eden
and we hear the hounds of heaven
but we don't know how to discern that
properly and know
and put it in its proper place and say
that's my source that's my place of
origin
beckoning me like a little like on the
gps like when you see like the sconar
it's like
like that like we're being called but
then there's
all these distractions that blind us to
the truth
and we're looking for whom but we're
using the wrong maps
and some and you know some places on the
maps can get us close
but the true map is the person of christ
right like he's home he's real home he's
true north
he's the north star you dig so
it's like there are things within the
practices of spirituality that are
helpful
and they're great and they're awesome
but they're not ultimately the end-all
bringing us bringing us home
and they're helpful and so like when you
come to christ you start realizing wait
a lot of these things exist
in a mystical reality with christ like
i can leave my body and travel to
dimensions and meet the cloud of
witnesses
and meet angels and meet jesus and get
messages from the dimensions of the
heavenly realm
you see that spoken by paul like i can
open like the you know my my third eye
which you know not in like a
just like divorce from the lord type of
way but paul says
yeah you know that the eyes of your
understanding will be enlightened
yes what's he talking about bro the
inner the inner eye
and even the eyes of your heart you know
that too i think
that's one thing that is close to a lot
of people that try to come in a
different way you know
because he gives us a new heart right
and i think that
that's how we have to be able to see is
with that new heart versus the old stony
heart that we
you know receive from our parents
right that issues out of the heart flows
everything for life
right that's in the proverbs so if our
is the condition of our heart and it
goes back to the parable of the sower
the condition of our heart
isn't vulnerable and open to receive
love
right then we're not going to rest we're
not going to perceive
god's movements towards us in love
we're going to do like adam did and
we're going gonna cast the shadow
over our vision and hide in the bushes
right and like
the truth is that in haggai says that
jesus
is the desire of the nations all the
nations
at their core desire him but we get that
veil
and so when you see like adam
hiding in the bushes notice like
in genesis it says that he feared god
but god didn't tell him to be scared
that came upon his own consciousness his
own consciousness became darkened
and what he what they what they really
lost was the consciousness of their
innocence that what
that was the thing that was really lost
yeah and so
with the consciousness of their
innocence being lost
now their understanding becomes darkened
and failed
and so if the understanding becomes dark
and unveiled
you're you you can't see things clearly
so you're gonna poke around like you
know walking around in the dark you're
gonna poke around at everything that you
can
to try to find your footing but he is
the light that shines in the darkness
right and so like ultimately everyone is
searching for god
they just don't know that that's what
they're looking for
that's good so do you think that you
know many of those people who are asking
those bigger questions i think they
exist in the new age community
right they're really into experiences
and and
and maybe even trying to top an
experience like have you done psilocybin
well dude i've done
ayahuasca well i've done dmt oh really
what happened well these angels came
like we're like looking for these
experiences in these encounters but
they're as simple as
going into your prayer closet shutting
the door and communing
with god uh through the person of the
holy spirit
in an intimate relationship with jesus
christ it's so
simple and those external things again i
think they had everything has its place
everything
and a lot of people would like to try to
say like it's the same thing like you're
what you're looking for in the mushrooms
is um you can just do that through
prayer it's a different realm it's a
different dimension
there's different beings that are there
and uh and
and it's different um but do you think
that those people
in the new age who are doing that stuff
which a lot of them are listening to
this right now
um do you think they're open for an
encounter with christ
are they right for the picking
yes if they're open to at least
listen to the truth of the gospel which
is this
listen god's not mad at you god's not
pushing you away god's not excluding you
you know god is already
included you in his love and he wants to
clear up any misunderstanding and the
best way to
know who he is is to look at christ read
the gospels
right just with an open mind like
everyone who's listening right now like
in the new age it's all about having an
open mind and because of religion
you know when you mention christ to a
lot of people who are in like the new
age
they immediately get closed off because
they think that you're coming from a
religious standpoint
and you want to judge them and bash them
and put them down and tell them how
wrong they are
and it's like hold on
yes every single one of us has ideas
about god that need to be cleared up
even me
right like there's there's moments where
i see the lord through a mirror dimly
yeah right like i don't always see
rightly and so the conversation is not
about if you're
in or out or bad or wrong it's the
conversation is about
awakening and so
i used to have this idea
of the belief in christ as i'm
out until i say a prayer until i have
faith until i repent
and then i'm in and it's like no you're
in
therefore let's explore the dimensions
of the eternal realm of christ
and begin to at least let yourself be
awakened to the reality of his
indwelling because paul says the sacred
mystery hidden from all the ages well
it's interesting that he uses that word
in the greek mysterion i believe
because all the mystery schools
which the new age is based off of the
teachings of the mystery schools of
egypt and greece and babylon they're all
based on
mysteries but paul says there is one
mystery
that trumps all the mysteries and it is
the sacred
mystery that is hidden from all the ages
but now
is unveiled within us and that mystery
is the christ in us not just some
christ consciousness thing or the avatar
but literally
the person of christ we've been united
to him
in when he became a human being when he
lived his life when he was crucified
when he was resurrected
we were fully wrapped up in that reality
and truth
and so you can escape christ
whether you want to believe you're in
christ or not in christ or whatever
christ is the ground of your being you
know the very spirit the the breath that
you breathe
is the spirit of the lord he says that
in job that the breath
in man is the spirit of god
yeah so you know what it is is that
we're blind
to what we already are included in what
we already possess
we've we've we've gone into this like
forgottenness we've forgotten
the source the origin and so the gospel
message
is an awakening to remember the source
of our origin
which is christ because in ephesians it
says that we
were created in christ we're his
workmanship
and that word in the greek is the word
poema
it's a poem it's where we get our
english word poem from
so literally like the fullness of your
existence spirit soul and body is god's
poem

it's god's language of love and
inclusion
and life you know the the scripture
describes god in three ways
light life and love
those are the three dimensions that
describe who he is
and so that's your source life light and
loving
you know light workers are looking for
the light well guess what
the light of mankind is christ read john
chapter one
his life is the light of mankind and he
enlightens every person coming into the
world you already have that light yeah
there's people there's people quoting
those scriptures in chat
as you're as you're ministering this so
they're getting it too
yeah you got that light right life
the life is already breathed into you
genesis that that breath of life
you know and love i mean we came from
love
we exist in in love's container
right he says the heavens can't contain
god there's nothing bigger than god
and so god is a is a relationship
between father son and spirit
and that's a relationship of love and
togetherness
and and sharing and fellowship
what you're sharing is deep but it's
very simple the doorway to that's very
simple why do we try you know
it gets really complicated really quick
though when you get into religion when
you get into okay well who was yahweh
or who is the lord or the the two lords
are talking to each other there's
different gods in the bible that was
really
inky in the old testament you know what
i'm saying like it gets really
i think that there's there's crafted
questions
since the beginning that try to steal
that pearl of great price
from you this simplicity that you found
in this relationship with god through
the person
of jesus they try to take it and
complicate it and get you to become a
hebrew israelite
to get you to become a reformed theology
to get you to become all of these
labels that aren't you what is this
attack i think it's the devil we can
call it the devil our enemy that wants
to take that
you know seed from us man that eternal
seed it wants to complicate it and make
it hard what is that
i would say it's man's obsession with
having to know
and so let me get a little you know
buddhist on you for a little bit right
um in the
like buddhist framework of philosophy
you know the mind has this obsession
with having to know everything
having thoughts being constantly
filled with something to occupy it you
go
and you find that huh the ego egoic
nature
yeah yeah absolutely and so you find
that
like a major practice
within buddhism is silence and it's
um deliberately making the mind shut up
and be quiet
you see that also in the mystical
tradition of christianity
in the church and so i think we've
gotten so obsessed from the ego
point of view with knowledge and
figuring it out
it's like you have to come to a place
where you question
everything until you have no more need
for answers
that's good and then when you're
at the end of needing answers you are
filled and you are living from the
abundance that is already yours in
christ why is that
because if i need to have something
answered if i have this obsession of
like
i gotta know all the knowledge you're
coming from a place of lack
and thinking that your life is
incomplete
or not fulfilled if you need an
answer to everything yeah and i i don't
know who said it before
but it was somebody and i heard him once
say
i may not have the answer to everything
but i know
the answer has me and that is
where i land on a lot of things it's
it's fun to
explore all the
freaking pathways you can go down with
theology
like history and all those different
things but
you know the destiny of the word
was human life human flesh
right and it's the incarnation it's the
realness of
real everyday life in and out like the
daily
in and out and so the destiny of the
word wasn't
for us to try to figure things out but
it was to enjoy
love and yes it's very simple and it
sounds
you know to some people very like oh
you're just re
it's very reductive of you to just say
it's just about love
well it is it is but they're the ones
that but that
love is a like a doorway in a portal
right
to those deeper truths that i believe
that god has put within us
like if you know you want to you want to
understand the text that you're reading
you want to understand the life that
you're living
you want to understand what the morning
stars are and how they sing out how do i
find that you know you can't go to your
pastor
so i feel like you have to go through
the portal of love of
of i don't care but but i do care of
like let me find out through
god because he holds the secrets the
secrets belong to the lord as the
scripture says and i think that
you know the allure of the occult or
whatever is to pull you outside of
hey come god doesn't have those secrets
jesus don't have those we have those
kind of thing
verses like let's ask those questions in
the beauty and simplicity of the king of
the universe through christ
to get those answers there's this weird
allure to pull us out of that to like
okay we got to go study
under whoever it is that doesn't know
christ and maybe they have some good
truths i'm not demonizing anyone
but the simplicity of i want to know so
i have to go
through my father and he'll show me how
the zodiac works he'll show me how the
angels travel back and forth and how
they watch over us and how we're one
with them versus trying to go out other
ways so
i feel like it's through that door of
christ of love of peace of grace
as you're talking about as long as we're
seeking those answers through that door
we'll be okay
so versus like hey we don't want to we
don't care how the universe works like i
think that's in us for a reason like
some of us are
that's our heart's desire is to to know
those things and it's from god you know
um but delighting ourselves in him
to figure those things out versus going
outside
which is like well you know god christ
isn't going to tell you about these
things so
you have to come to aleister crowley
because he will or something right and
it's like hold on
be careful christ will show you whatever
you really want to know i believe
you know the secrets are hidden with him
absolutely
i forget where it is i think it's
ephesians or colossians it says
all the treasures of wisdom and
knowledge are hidden in christ
well where's christ he's in me so
yes there is an inward journey there
isn't
you know there's this quote by carl
young i think he says
those who look outside sleep but those
who look within a wake
right and i know he i know how he meant
it because he was an occultist he meant
it more in a like
cult kind of point of view but
remember jesus said the kingdom of
heaven is within
and the king jesus is the kingdom and so
as long as we're connected to christ
that true relationship
participating in that relationship we're
always connected though the issue is
that we're we were blind to the
connection
until we wake up to the connection by
the spirit by grace
um and so all the answers are there
the astrology it's the masaroth look it
up
yeah right like astral travel
john left his body peter left his body
paul left his body
i mean it's all over it's ruining the
transits
that that's good i mean it's all over
the scripture what would you say
to those of like because people would
would you know we we talk about that
stuff openly we practice
trans state with the lord where people
would say that hey that was like a
one-time occurrence you're not supposed
to seek those encounters and
because when you read it in the
scriptures it doesn't tell you that they
had a practice
obviously you have to know the culture
you have to kind of know some some realm
of spiritual practice to know that
you can get into a trance state because
most people who would read those things
about they was in a trance on the lord's
day
they just have it in their mind that
they were walking having a regular day
and god just sucked them into a trance
versus like it was through prayer
contemplation intimacy with christ that
birthed this trance state for them what
would you say to those two
notions
i would say i understand like i
understand that viewpoint
and uh many people would say you can't
base the theology off of just mere
experience
yeah but but i don't know if that's true
or not
because like yes you base it off the
word of god and scripture and all those
things but
theology is just they're dead concepts
until i come into a real life experience
with it
that's good you know what i mean like i
could like
how many people do we know our
theological
freaking masters i mean they can call
scripture like nobody's business but
they have no zoe life flowing
there isn't that union there isn't that
intimacy there isn't that
that fruit of the spirit flowing from
their being
right so it's like that's my answer to
it right like that's what i would say
um to whoever you know has the argument
with it and
listen i've been against both sides yeah
you know i've been a part of different
camps that have been against both sides
oh those people yeah they don't have the
spirit because they don't believe in
this or that whatever
or those people yeah they're just yeah
it's kundalini or whatever
you know i've been a part of both camps
and i've just said you know what i'm
going to drop all the camps
and let you bring me to an encounter
like last night
i traveled i was sleeping but i didn't
mean to
last night i traveled you know i felt
the vibrations all over my body
sucked out of my body and then i'm in
this like dimension where i'm like
driving a car
and i'm talking to my deceased father
through bluetooth
and he's telling me how beautiful my my
son is who's nine months his name is
christo
and he's telling me like he's so
beautiful i re
like and i was like man i really wish
you had a chance to like meet him and
like face to face and he's like yeah me
too
and and and it was weird like it was the
most realistic experience and i'm
talking to my dad like
weird and i'm like you know like i miss
you like
how am i talking to you right now i
became lucid in this
state and like i mean how am i talking
to you right now like i thought you died
and he's like i didn't die just had to
go to another place
i don't know what that means hot fit
that in the bible
i don't know right but
i am so solid on christ yo like i
commune with him every day i love jesus
he's my everything all right like i know
that wasn't a demon or none of that
stuff that people say like
yeah like and i don't i didn't look for
that i wasn't trying to do necromancy
or those seances it was a grace it was a
moment of the lord's grace
because i do miss my dad you know and we
didn't
he died without us squashing our beef
you know
so i know we're taking it in a different
direction i mean but but but that
encounter
whether that was your dad or whether
that was a level of consciousness
we don't we don't really know but but
you
come out of that encounter dream
um with some closure
something happened in your spirit
because of that encounter whether that
was really your dad it could have been
for sure
uh it could have been just your
imagination for sure but but there's
closure that's happening we have to
engage the imagination
i mean talk about that the closure i
mean joe rogan talks about this like
when they go into dmt and
meet with these elves and they're
repairing their dna and it's like
did we really meet with these machine
elves or is it all in our head
did i really meet my grandmother on
ayahuasca or is it in my head
um either way the closure
what i'm experiencing after the fact of
this spiritual encounter
yeah like i squashed my beef with my dad
you know like
solo right like you know when he did die
though i did feel like a relief
because i had this profound moment right
like
when he died the moment was because he
wasn't really around you know what i
mean so like i didn't
really have like a close relationship
with him you know he struggled a lot
with addiction and things like that and
you know i realized that so much in my
life i filtered through this belief of
i'm a victim of fatherlessness
and that formed my identity for such a
long time
and when he died you know i did oh boy
i was a mess because like you know i i
regretted not visiting him
because he was locked up when he passed
away and because i was
angry and you know i couldn't let go of
my anger but i didn't
you know but i remember having this very
lucid moment
pacing back and forth through my house
doing breath work trying to navigate my
emotions
of saying my dad died
and what dies with him
is my story that i'm a victim to
fatherlessness
i don't have to define myself that way
anymore and that was such a breakthrough
moment for me
and that shifted so much of my life
in his passing it you know and i wasn't
following the lord or whatever but it
could have been
that that grace of his presence and his
peace still right because i was
really learning a lot about inner
healing emotional intelligence
navigating consciousness and belief
systems and
how to bring how to command the state of
the nervous system right
which is why i was doing breath work to
to bring my emotions to a state of like
stability right and i had that come
through and you know last night it was i
felt like it was a gift from the lord to
be honest
you know because i wanted to hear his
voice and i haven't heard it in such a
long time and
i i heard his voice and that closure is
is is
is so necessary right and like people
think that like you come to christ and
all right you know like
you ever seen that episode of spongebob
and he's like hi i'm
normal and like i don't know if y'all
seen this
but there's this episode of spongebob
where
he's not weird and quirky and he just
becomes like
this like very vanilla like he loses all
his spots and he's not a sponge anymore
he's literally like a round sponge
and he changes his whole voice and he's
like hi adorable
right and it's like yo he's weird and
he's just like starts converting all
these people
to this weird like normal kind of thing
you gotta look it up it's hilarious
but it's like we think we come to christ
and there's like boom oh
hi i'm normal like no
yes objectively we are healed but again
trauma gets lodged in the body okay so
we're gonna segue into like the main
meat right through this conversation of
closure and healing trauma gets lodged
in the body
and as far as i know you know we don't
have our glorified bodies yet
we don't right these things are going to
fall away we're waiting for that
immortality
to where where we have our glorified
eternal bodies or we're going to be in a
literal physical body
that is not subject to decay right
and so in Romans 8 it says that creation
is growing
is groaning awaiting the manifestation
of god's sons
right and we're looking forward to the
redemption of the body the soma
right and so you know the soma is
important
that's that that's a greek word for body
it's all over the new testament
in Romans 8 it also says that um
since the spirit that raised christ from
the dead
is alive in us he also gives life to our
mortal body our soma
right so there is a very real
um reality of experiencing heavenly
glory in the body
and all of these modalities that help
bring emotional healing i believe can be
merged with rooting them in
the foundation of we've already been
healed in christ
and now we're removing the veil of lies
and
discovering every place that we're set
free already
and so we're we don't have the full
awareness of
everything we have in christ we're still
learning and growing in the knowledge of
him
and what we possess and so you know the
work that i do
is around this emotional healing
emotional intelligence
because there are a lot of lies that
cover our understanding
that cover our consciousness
that blind us to what we already have in
the gospel and so
the mind and the body are connected
they're not disconnected whatever goes
on in here
shows up here and what whatever is going
on in here starts manifesting in here
there's a bi-directional communication
between the neurology and the nervous
system
and so the the work that i'm doing
is centered around this workshop called
the mirror shift training
and it's renewing the mind to the new
creation reality of what
happened to you in christ and so it's a
two-day weekend
exploration of learning tools to
to integrate silence and stillness and
command your attention
and learn how to shift your attention
out of lies which the scripture tells us
to renew our mind
and to be transformed by renewing the
mind
by getting your attention out of lies
and then shifting them towards truth
and then having the impact
of that truth in hit the nervous system
right and so i love
everything to do with the nervous system
because
the nervous system has two dominant
states of being
you have the sympathetic nervous system
and the parasympathetic
the sympathetic nervous system governs
fight flight or freeze
right we've all experienced this at some
level
and i think the parasympathetic is the
part of the nervous system
that governs resting and digesting
so it's interesting because in Hebrews 4
it says
those who have entered christ's rest has
ceased from their labors
and it tells us to strive to enter into
the rest
what did jesus really want not just the
rest from the law
but he literally wants our nervous
system to be
in a constant state of
homeostasis yeah like
he wants our entire being to be at full
rest
all the time and so what happens is
through limiting beliefs through trauma
is a normal experience can trigger
the sympathetic nervous system which is
fight flight or freeze
danger oh my goodness i'm not safe
and if we don't have the tools to
discern what's going on
work you know a lot of what's hap what
happens in the fight
flight or freeze um
reaction is rooted in what's going on in
our cognitions
what's going on in our consciousness and
so there is a
very close connection between our
consciousness
and our body and i believe that the
gospel
is to be a somatic experience
meaning relating to and of the body
it's not just to be a mental thing but
our
nervous system is literally meant to be
impacted
by the gospel and this is what all the
like
goddesses that do their little retreats
in peru with ayahuasca and breathwork
and yoni crystals and all that jazz
that's what they're looking for they're
looking for modalities to to be able to
govern their nervous system and all that
and say i'm gonna say hey those are all
great tools
and they're good platforms to start
breath work
learning how to command your attention
meditation all these things are helpful
but there will be nothing that will
bring your
your nervous system into rest
like the gospel because the gospel isn't
a potential
of rest it is a declaration that you've
been sucked in
to heaven's hammock literally
you're like you're on you're in the
resting place
that's where you abide and it also
abides within you
it says you know we're we're brought to
a place where he leads our soul
to the still waters he lays us on
on green pastures and it's where
we remember ourselves in the waters of
reflection
you know like people you see a lot of
people think that there's two words that
that come to mind you you mentioned uh
rest
and people think rest means doing
nothing and then waiting is another
thing they think you know waiting is
just kind of like we're sitting by
waiting on this something and so they
feel like
rest and waiting aren't doing anything
can you can you just kind of connect on
how like
like you you do everything from
again that place of rest
yeah absolutely it's rooted in the
gospel
the first thing it's rooted in identity
so you see jesus he
sat down priests weren't allowed
to sit down right in the old
testament system right like they had to
be constantly doing the
sacrifices and maintaining the temple
but jesus is the only priest who sat
down
after he
presented his sacrifice to the father
because he he completed the work
it's done and so we're in him
in that rest so think of this jesus
is the most rested being
or reality he is not just a being he is
the most rested reality
in all of creation and all of creation
is still running
the cosmos is still turning and he's
doing it all from a place of rest
and what is he resting in he's resting
in what his father declared over him
which when you see before he gets
baptized
he says this is my beloved son in whom
i'm well pleased
and so that's what the gospel is the
good news that the father declares over
you
an eternal reality that can never be
broken
and so when you awaken to that eternal
reality that can never be broken
and that's fully displayed and mirrored
in christ
you can literally sit back and rest
in your identity now rest doesn't mean
inactivity
it means that you're able to function
and process and get through your life
while your nervous system is
communicating to you that you're at a
place of rest
you can do it you can handle life not
from anxiety
not from you know hyper vigilance
but and again this is a process this is
not
you know a magic wand overnight but
again the deeper you like believe the
truth about
who the father says you are
mirrored and displayed in christ
the more you deepen your awareness of it
and expand your awareness of it
the more that rest takes place not only
in your mind and in the spirit in your
soul
but in the nervous system and so it acts
rest is actually the place that
propels you towards getting things done
because in that place of rest you begin
to notice what's possible
and what you can start manifesting by
the power of christ
in you so you start to become excited
about
creation whereas when you're not at rest
and you're living in anxiety
you're not really creating anything
you're just trying to manage
the chaos of your life rest is a whole
different
place because now you're in a pla now
you're now you're in
like active loving playful creation
ask any artist whether it's music or
poetry or
visible art they're not working when
they're
they get lost they go to another place
and they're just
creating because it comes from that
place of
resting and enjoying creation
comes from that inner being and so the
god created us in his image he that
means
we're also created to
manifest our life from joyful playful
fun creation right that that oh man this
is
and so your life becomes a restful
playful
art in the gospel
from the gospel right um
and so yeah rest doesn't mean because
the the reality is is
inactivity or procrastination because
you know like i want to
speak more into that when people talk
about like oh i'm resting
and they're doing nothing or they're
waiting that's actually
a trauma response because they're in
freeze mode
so you're not actually resting you you
are using you're bypassing your
procrastination and your inability to
get things done
with i'm resting because you don't know
how to kick it forward and
get it active and going so your your
nervous system is
actually not in a place of rest you're
in
freeze mode so you go oh i'm resting on
you no you're not
you're not resting because freeze mode
isn't a nervous system at rest again
which is why the gospel is massively
important to the body right
it's the redemption of the body
that paul is saying that we're
undergoing because
our spirits are already saved our soul
is is
is awakening more and more to the
reality but then there
is this moment where the body will
fully be flooded
with light yeah and there are there's no
more trauma
there's no more limiting beliefs there's
no more nervous system
being triggered into fight flight or
freeze we're fully
activated in love and light and life
and so if you're someone who's using
rest as an excuse to do nothing to wait
around
i would invite you to begin to question
what you're trying to avoid by
bypassing with this supposed rest
because if you are not able to
address whatever it is and you're living
in avoidance that's not really rest
because
eventually that inactivity or like
laziness
will manifest itself in certain results
and you won't be in a state of rest
you'll be in a panic
mode right and so like that's not really
rest is is staying in the state of doing
nothing
yes the body's doing nothing but we
weren't made to do nothing
we were right we were we were made to
participate in the image of god which is
creation from rest
right god wasn't tired at the end of the
seven days
oh i need to take a break
no god like like an artist
finishes his canvas with his signature
and then he sits back down or whatever
and he looks and he's like ah it's done
yeah the same way right and so we're
called to create our life
to create our personal reality not
ultimate reality
from the gospel from rest in an
artistic way you know paul says that we
are
the epistles of god
and what's up what's an epistle another
word for letter
where god's poem like you said a while
ago right
we're poems right and so when we're like
oh wait like
i can i can literally tune into the
frequency of love light and life that is
in christ in the gospel and let it
impact my nervous system
and and if i have my consciousness
flooded with certain
limitations i can do some certain
practices to help remove those blockages
but then again
my focus goes back to the the truth and
so i can have that the frequency of the
spirit and heaven
impact my nervous system and then boom
i can start flowing from poetry mode
yeah
and now my life is is that is that what
people call the flow state
when they kind of like in they're in
their
state of where god you know allows
energy and creativity to flow freely to
him
i would say that's the flow state yeah
absolutely
now the beautiful thing about trusting
in jesus
hey sorry we got cut out there for a
second
the beautiful thing about trusting in
jesus is
flow state is not something you
try to like muster up with like i gotta
get in flossy again
you're not at rest flow state often
comes from rest
michael jackson and i forget some other
artists
said that their best songs were writ
came
to them as they were wait picking up or
going
or going sorry i don't know
i keep getting a calm kind of declining
it it's fine um
their best songs came in through
sleep like as they're waking up or going
down to sleep their best
ideas some of their hit songs waking up
and that's when the
brain is in a in a frequency called the
alpha frequency or the alpha wave
brain state right and this is just
science it's not anything weird like
the brain has different modes of
operating and the alpha state
is the most creative restful state
of where things happen and so that's the
flow
state and so just ponder this
you know we have the mind of christ uh
jesus is resting
and he's the most creative person ever
right and if we possess the mind of
christ that means that
we can realistically
operate from a continual alpha
brainwave state by believing the gospel
and then always be in creation mode
always be
always be an alpha brainwave state
from that reality because when the when
the
when the brain is operating in alpha the
bot the nervous system is also in rest
as well
right you you talk to a lot of artists
they say you know i was doing nothing
and this then this idea came to me
yeah then create creation came for me
that just like
right because rest is the seat of
creation flows from that rest and love
right like creation love and rest flow
from that
and so yeah that flow state but i'm
telling you you really want to get in
some flow states
believe the gospel trust in christ and
and not just like mentally but let the
gospel penetrate your nervous system
right like i like to call it the somatic
gospel it's the good news
not just for your eternity one day when
you die you get to go to heaven
but it's good news for now your body
gets to experience the new creation
yeah the eternal realms right now your
body gets to be
flooded with the glory
flooded with the glory right yeah
and the goodness i like what you said
about you know
that state of nothingness is where you
know creation comes from and we always
talk about how like
when you're doing something that doesn't
really take much of your conscious mind
to do
like something you're good at like
driving a commute that you drive all the
time
for me cutting the grass or like um
jogging you know doing something where
like your body is there but your mind is
kind of like
open you don't have to focus on jogging
you just do it
um those are those states where like you
know for me lyrics come
inspiration comes ideas now when it's
time to like
sit down at the computer and say okay
it's time to write a song
like it doesn't it doesn't work you know
when you're doing some taking a shower
you got all of these ideas to come and
so it's about
tapping into that that place of rest
which is really interesting and how
creation and inspiration comes from not
of like
okay it's time to write a song or hey
it's time to be a christian it's time to
serve god
you know those things like we live in
that place of rest versus having to like
tap into it and out of it for sure and
even you know you're talking about
michael jackson like he was
you know they had i guess a perversion
of it because he was
that's why he was addicted to pain pills
that's why he was addicted he would take
pills to tap
into the dream state because he wasn't
he didn't know who he was
in christ in relationship to receive
those dreams and
receive those songs that have never been
written you know and there was there was
uh
he would induce the dream state because
he thought that if he didn't go in and
write these songs down that prince would
beat him to it
and prince would go in and get these
songs out of the dream state and write
it down so
michael jackson would would wake up from
a dream and call somebody we got to
record this now if we don't
prince is going to receive that that
that dream and hear it in that state
because he's privy to it as well
and uh but that's what killed michael
jackson man you know is going in he was
deep on
on going into the dream state to get
songs but definitely doing it the
the wrong way of being uh you know
overly medicated to tap into that realm
yeah i mean it was illegal access to
heaven you know and that's the thing
like
jesus is the gateway jesus is the door
you want to save travel through the
heavenly realms it's through the gateway
jesus is the ultimate gateway experience
right
for those of you who know a little bit
about monroe uh the monroe
yeah that's getting really popular
lately too i've seen a lot more like
resurgence of it
it's yeah it's because of tick-tock um
but yeah like you know um jesus is the
ultimate gateway experience and it's
interesting you talk about them
going in getting a song and then coming
back right
and i believe
that the lord
i believe he destined us
to go into the realm of the spirit and
to
and to draw out creativity right because
that
it's full of potential the spirit realm
and you see it even in david's psalms i
mean he he wrote more than 151
songs you know but there's 151 in the
bible
and you see like a lot of david's
visions
are for example my lord said to my lord
that's a song he had a vision of the
lord sitting with the lord the father
with the son
before they even knew about the christ
like the man of
jesus the christ and he said you know
you know david because he was a
worshiper was drawn
into spirit realm and given those
visions and then brought back
by holy spirit to put them into song
form
and so like i wouldn't i wouldn't be
surprised if david was still alive today
if you'd be one of like the most
amazing songwriters in the planet yeah
right because
well i mean let's just let's look at
some of our like great songwriters today
all of our favorite musicians from the
world the secular
they were all inebriated and and super
intoxicated
you know writing this music nirvana like
tool you name it man they have they're
tapping into these weird states and
coming back with this amazing
music now there's levels to it they may
be coming back with
mixed messages but as far as the
musicianship and how to write a song
they're getting it you know off of drugs
and heroin
and liquor and there's so much stuff
that they're kind of tapping into
that uh state where there is no worry
there is no panic right
i use these drugs to make me forget i
drink too so i don't have to deal with
what's you know the kids running in the
house screaming this allows me to escape
and it's a it's not a good alternative
right the alternative is through this
blissful union we have with god
through christ and prayer and we can
access very similar states
um that are healthy that are healing you
and helping you
versus to have all the other side
effects and repercussions that come with
the
you know any of those drugs really so
that's very interesting too that they're
getting these
songs like out of those states all of
the top charts they're all
drug addicts you know yeah
yeah yeah yeah i you know there it's
crazy i met someone
who had a song a christian song with
bruno mars and he showed me the
recording of it
because i used to do a lot of
songwriting in the music industry and
things like that and i'd be in sessions
and stuff
and he showed me this recording of a
christian song bruno mars
singing like a christian song okay
before he blew up
and you know it was not too long after
he got famous he was caught with like a
bunch of cocaine
and he's like what can you say i'm a
musician
you know it was just like a shrug it off
like hey man
it's the music industry it's what we do
it just it is what it is
and well eminem eminem just talked about
how hard it was
writing you know off of drugs
he had and he had a lot of he had a
couple albums that flopped
because he wasn't addicted or drunk or
on pills or whatever and he it was like
he
couldn't write until he you know somehow
he got it back it was a hunger you know
that that you know recently he just got
back but
uh he talks about how hard it is trying
to write music
uh sober
yeah man i i can relate you know i i
totally understand you know i have a
song
uh on there i have a song on soundcloud
i still have a bunch of my old stuff
that i made when i was like rebelling
hard against the lord uh
i have a song called acid and you hear
it and it's like this really like
atmospheric ethereal like i'm talking
about
like occultic stuff in the song and
it was such a beautifully creative song
but i was on acid when i made it
you know and and i can totally relate to
that tapping into those
different states of being to be able to
draw creativity from and now i just let
the creativity flow
yeah and i and for me i'll say straight
up i don't demonize
natural stuff at all you know what i'm
saying i think that
i think that every good and perfect gift
comes from the father above and
anything natural not anything made in a
lab or hacked into or
abused or having to mix things then it's
a little bit different so
i just put that out there and most
people know that i'm
open to a lot of those things that are
natural i haven't i haven't actually
used psilocybin since
early 2019 me neither
it's probably longer than that but yeah
yeah like it's interesting because when
i was like
you know rebelling and keeping the new
age i would be like
i need a journey every quarter that's so
crazy right that's how you know that
they really don't get it when they have
to do it every weekend or hold on
you're doing something wrong yeah like
i would every quarter like something
would happen i'd be like i need to go on
a journey man
i need to go on a journey
you want to go on a journey let's
journey together
this weekend ayahuasca next weekend it's
like dude it's going to take me two
years to unpack what i got we had
totally different experiences
it's gonna take me a long time to unpack
this stuff you know and that's how i
that's how i
i am for sure i'm gonna do it again next
week i barely made it out of that
experience

experiences on psilocybin bro like
dude i would see fractals in the sky and
crazy stuff bro crazy stuff
you know but um there's no high like the
most high
yeah you don't have to ingest anything
and again everything serves its purpose
so we got to make sure we say that like
because like oh you
jesus only yeah jesus only until you
asked me about
mushrooms or until you ask me about
anything else but
everything has its place for sure you
know there's a season for everything but
definitely not dependency on anything
external that's the beauty thing
where you're talking about we have our
bodies and we can bio-hack our body we
can breathe we can
you know there's so many things that we
can do we're fearfully and wonderfully
made and to really explore that
that you don't need anything outside of
you even key with what you mentioned a
while ago just
uh you know uh you know leaving your
body i talk about astral travel and
leaving my body a lot
and even maybe you know romanticize it
as
i'm leaving my body and coming out of
the head or whatever but it really is
this
inner you go within to get without and
to explore the dimensions of the kingdom
that's within you so
you have to like straighten that up that
listen we don't need anything outside of
us that's the beauty
of the gospel you don't need to go to
this
now we can there's so much stuff that
you know our body responds
to cacao is amazing that a lot of people
are waking up to having a
you know ingesting cacao and it tapping
into your dna and
and uh and your nervous system and you
and then you do breath work with that
and then you pray with cacao like
or drink a cup of coffee like everything
like we
our our relationship with these living
they are entities they are plant
teachers even in something as small as
cacao or coffee or some would say you
know whatever
but um but that is the beaut the
beautiful thing but it's entering in
through the love don't it there is a um
and i know you experienced it
um this double mindedness that hey god
isn't in that man
and if you and if you approach it with
that that hey god isn't in cacao
or god isn't in breath work or do if i
do breath work i'm going outside of
if i do yoga i'm i'm tapping into
spirits that
want to hurt me and it's going outside
of god and just you having that mindset
which is an ungodly belief that is
harmful for you
it can mess you up going into it because
you feel like you sinned against god
so having our consciousness or conscious
uh um renewed you know with with the
truth of that the god is really in
everything
and you want to know go ahead what's
really interesting about the yoga thing
like i don't particularly practice yoga
um
but i i had an experience where i was
going through like a
a distressing time and i said let me
just do a few sun salutations
and like the first 20 minutes of an
ashtanga practice
and dude there was this one moment where
i hit this one pose
and i just burst out into tears and i
felt this emotional release and all the
tension leave my body
this was years ago but the hesicus
which are the uh the the mystical
um practitioners in the eastern orthodox
church
they actually have a body of knowledge
that
doesn't leave the the monasteries that
has to do with breath work
and body positions
it's called is a practice called
hesicasm right
and this is this is an ancient practice
that goes back
hundreds of years with christ believers
that we're tapping into bioenergetics
which again
that's you know that's i feel like it's
helpful it's not the end-all be-all but
yeah god made our bodies are very
intricate
you know and he designed them in such a
way
that we can begin to
um shift our bodies you know
and i think there's practices that are
incredible all these different things
um i know i don't demonize people who
who need to
based on where they're at there's
certain journey
they need to take something right
because they're looking for
the ultimate truth right and so i am
going to say that's not the ultimate
right you're just looking for home
you're looking for home
and i won't demonize you or anything
like that because he loves you and
you're already in him
but i i noticed that once i you know
began to put my attention and
participate in the
trinity i didn't need the things
right i haven't found a desire or a need
for
any of the you know psychedelics or any
anything like that i'm not saying i i
will never
utilize celeste ivan it's it's from the
earth you know it's just like
for example or from outer space it's
debatable
absolutely anyway you talk to you know i
don't preach on it though i'm not like
hey guys let's do a journey you know um
it's like with
cannabis right it's an herb
from the ground that god made right like
he knows
its effects he knows we would find it
and you know and now again people abuse
it yeah right like
dude martin luther he owned a brewery
with his
wife okay she was an ex-catholic nun
he's in he was an excommunicated monk
from the catholic church
and they're like let's open up a brewery
have you read anything on martin luther
and his love of beer
he's german right like john crowder
yeah i mean you know you have certain
people in certain
views will be like oh no that's bro like
it's it's from the earth bro that god
made
it like the bible tells us to drink wine
it makes us merry it does it says that
wine brings merriness to our heart
you know and i think if you do it like
in moderation
dude there's nothing like having a glass
of wine with my wife
and beating her at chess just sitting in
our home listening to some good music
playing chess having a glass of wine
we're so spiritual man we don't know how
to you know to kind of be
be human and enjoy this experience man
it's very hard
there's no there's no experience outside
of the human experience
that's gnosticism no
no god fully endorses our humanity
by forever becoming a human
he fully endorses our humanity jesus
drank wine okay

speak in tongues every single day
every single day i'm always speaking in
tongues well i'm driving while i'm doing
normal things i'm always speaking in
tongues to tap in it is a mystical
language
you know that we tap in like you know
the teachings on it you know i
bless and thank god for the pentecostal
church for bringing that to the body of
christ
and opening that up for us um again
speaking in tongues is not a have to
it's a get to
i don't have to speak in tongues i get
to speak in tongues
right and yes like you can trans out on
tongues and have beautiful experiences
with the lord
to tap in i think he gave it to us as a
gift to do so
so yeah absolutely don't let religion
try to draw you away from the beautiful
um gifts that he's given us to like
enjoy the mystical experience
of him because it is a real thing yeah
for sure i think that um
i'm working on an actual teaching on
prayer that i want to get out but i
cover
speaking in tongues and i really i feel
like when i'm speaking in tongues it
i feel like our spirit man is is praying
and we just need a noise we just kind of
need a noise i don't even know
like i've translated some of those words
and they come back as some really dope
stuff
but i i feel like our spirit of speaking
we need a noise just like somebody could
say hey
you can do them you know any kind of
mantra modality
and there's a there's a feeling that you
have to release as a vibrational sound
and it's bypassing your intellectual
mind god i ask you to
take care of my bills i'm at the end of
my rope i don't know how i'm going to
pay my bills
this month versus
you just release release release so it's
coming out and i don't have to
articulate it to my father
i just need to commune and connect with
him i mean a little bit more of that
dude every time i hear someone pray
every time it's crazy every somebody run
that
shock boy like i get the goosebumps and
i'm like oh
yeah that's how you know you your body
you don't go you talk about the you know
somatic experience and your body is a
part of this
we got i got chill bumps right now you
know from just doing that and you saying
that
and our body our hairs respond
to the spirit as well and if there's a
spirit in the room
the holy spirit amen uh we can feel it
our bodies will let you know job talks
about this job chapter 4
a spirit came to him and and and
delivered a message telepathically
to job in his hallway in the middle of
the night and it said that all of his
his bones began to shake right he got
the chills and all of his hair on his
body
stood on ends and so interesting how our
hair
and our uh our skin is connected
uh with the spirit world as well i love
it

guess they uh
somebody mentioned something about the
drinking thing and they said yeah but
jesus wasn't going around getting
s face drunk puking all over the place

either i am not absolutely for that kind
of behavior
where the church messed up is that they
they taught
uh abstinence instead of moderation
yeah yeah that's the thing is like
there's this fear
of oh i'm gonna get taken over again if
i don't know who i
am anything can draw me away right if i
don't stand for something i'll fall for
anything
and i think it's an mlk quote right and
so
if you don't know how to stand for your
identity in christ
then anything externally can draw you
away and have you
you know stumble and bring darkness into
your experience
um and again you know there are people
who are journeying through recovery so
you know if again the scripture tells us
to honor the weaker brother that
you know for them that's
that's a stumble for them that's that's
a that's that's a that's an issue for
them
and so i'm not gonna like make my
brother stumble because i love
i love my brother if they if they're in
that place where
they're asking me to to be moderate or
whatever in front of them
i i will so you know but i don't
like i don't party or anything i do
party in the holy ghost though like
but like you know what i mean like most
of my drinking is with my wife
so yeah you know we enjoy each other's
presents and
that's about it um another question here
i guess kind of going in on the
the um tongues thing is they say is
is speaking in tongues chanting mantras
let me see i'm gonna say this real quick
i'll say no it's there's differences
but i believe and i've done it i've got
stuff
written out that uh when you get into
the spirit and you begin to
hear that prayer language come back and
there and you hear these
uh these syllables for essentially
and i'll break them down and i'll write
them down
go back to hebrew what what does this
mean and i'll start chanting them like
you would see a
eastern chant or a mystical chant and
for me it was like uh
hey ya ba hey ya baba hey ya ba
hey ya baba and i'm like okay what is
hey ya and ba
obviously we know yah is yahweh and i i
would hear these chants coming on and i
would start singing them and we do this
by even chanting om
and as you're tapping into that that
place between the thoughts
the inspiration comes and you start
hearing these syllables at least i do
and uh and the spirit will come on me
really strong
and um hey i just want to even even that
hey
hey yeah hey is the picture
of of god's uh of your hands
raised in in praise it means to praise
the yod hey
right hey is a a a worship in adoration
yah is god and ba is father
so essentially it's worshiping god the
father of all creation
and i think we can play with it i think
we can have fun and i think that uh
it unlocks things with us as well
because
you're you're bypassing the analytical
mind so
turning the uh the tongues into
uh this this prayer language or this
mantra as well i've i've tapped into
some of that and
need to put out some stuff on that some
recordings that people can tap into with
some drums and
music in the background you know yeah
what would you say i know there's people
who would chant yod hey vav hey we do
that on our retreats
we just kind of tap into that that
trance state yeah
it's the sacred name you know it's the
sacred name and
i have no issues with that i just i
wouldn't i wouldn't chant
like om namashivaya
i'm not chanting you know any of like
the hindu
gods or anything like that but i i have
no
no gripe against it you know if if it's
a spiritual practice that supports you
and your journey and connecting with
christ then
you know go for it yeah
what about om shanti santi
no one i don't know i'm not really sold
on the ohms yet
you know what i mean okay um i didn't do
a lot of homing
um it never i just could never connect
to it i'll say this one of my favorite
um hindu um uh chance
is um one where it's it's called
ramadasa
ramadasa it's ramadasa sa say so hung
and again you have those syllables which
are very similar to yod
ramada right it's always with the ah the
ah
sound that's really interesting but from
that that prayer
or chant is essentially joining with all
creation
the rise the sun energy the ma is the
moon it's the earth it's joining with
all
creation that is vibrating that is
singing
its song to the creator and i'm gonna
join with the birds
i'm gonna visualize that as the trees
are playing their song
as the oceans are singing there's the
way everything has a song or resonance
of frequency
i'm going to join with them and lift up
my
uh connection with the creator and tap
in and so
there's some of them especially that one
that's my favorite one this is like i'm
joining with all the creation to honor
the one yeah i i can as you're talking
i'm getting psalms that pop up in my
head
um there's this uh famous hymn
that says you know that talks about
create uh praising
uh all of creation praising the lord
yeah
you know ask the birds and they will
tell you
that's yeah is that true praise him you
know
um and so it's interesting because we'll
say it in a hymn
and be like yeah creation praises the
lord but then when we're like
how though yeah through frequency
that's vibration yeah through frequency
the vibration
creation praises the source the father
the son the spirit
absolutely everything everything is
created with that frequency to worship
the
the difference between humans is we have
free will
that allows us to choose who and what we
want to worship many of us worship
you know musicians or drugs or
our parents or money we worship many
different things and so
the beautiful thing is we get to focus
our adoration
manually upon the creator in christ and
his love and his grace so we get to
choose
this day who and what we want to worship
that's why it's so powerful
we have that that free will to choose
him
because he first chose us man and direct
our privacy our adoration and our
attention
is what it is like the like when you're
talking about worship i just feel like
i feel like i need to say this like in
the
in the hebrew the word worship is barack
and it means to adore
or to kneel down right and think of it
this way
when a man is in love with a woman he
kneels down on one knee in his adoration
to offer her um the
the life the his life forever to her
right and so when god created adam and
eve
and it says that he blessed them in the
english translation it's that
same hebrew word barack that's used for
worship
in hebrew in the psalms so when god
created
humanity and adam and eve he literally
like adored his creation as
like us right and so worship
it's so interesting because you know in
first john it says
this is love not that we love god but
that he
first loved us and it's his initial love
of us
that awakens love within us to return
that love back to him
he's always the initiator in the
relationship now
we are created to worship but not in
this
slavish sort of like i'm nothing i'm
worthless
you know you're everything like you're
the center of the universe and it's just
all about you and i'm a worm
no no that's not worship because you're
literally
disrespecting the image of god which is
yourself
okay the worship that we're to offer to
the lord
is predicated upon god's honoring of
the human species and
you see that when he blessed them which
is the word barack in hebrew in genesis
when he created us he blessed us like
when my
when my kids were born i held him in my
arms and i cried like a
me baby i was like oh look at this
beautiful thing what did i do i was
worshiping i was adoring not not
worshipping them as
god because they're not god right but i
was worshiping their
their like who they were the beauty of
their ex their existence
and so i really believe that when the
father created us
it was the beauty of our existence that
have him
had him barack us or barack over
us and think of it like this
when an animal is born the first thing
that it sees
is the thing that imprints
upon it and it follows it around
especially ducks
right like a duck the first thing he
sees is like it thinks it's mama duck
and it follows it around even if it's a
dog or something right
yeah so we are created to be imprinted
upon
i had the call coming in um yeah that
keeps happening i put my phone on
uh airplane mode uh not airplane but do
not disturb i don't know why it keeps
slowing but anyways
you think about it like the imprint upon
humanity is the value
that we possess by virtue of who is our
source
and what is the first action god took
in creating us which is baracking over
us
blessing us with his adoration
like who we are is that's good
like who we are is massively valuable
massively worthy right and it's
interesting because like in the new age
law of attraction you know they kind of
blend like psychology and inner work and
emotional
healing you notice that affirmations i'm
lovely i'm worthy
i'm amazing and yes of course
but that that just doesn't come just
because you're just saying it for no
reason like you're
it's like a often it comes from trying
to believe those things
yeah like trying to get yourself to
believe it but here's the thing god
already believes that about
something right you just need to hear it
though for like for me i've been you
know i've been
sure and i know you've seen some of my
meditations like the the scripture
meditations
you know as far as like those are my
affirmations i love you with an
everlasting love
i will never leave you and i will never
forsake you because i listened to
a new age guy who told me that or a
christian who told me god's love was
conditional and
he has conditions to love me versus like
let him pour into me with these
you know mantras or affirmations from
what christ said or god said through the
scriptures
which is our identity and in that place
of worship like you're saying we're uh
you know we we become what we behold
right
we are like chameleons man we start
acting like the people that that we're
around
and we pick up their lingo and all of
this kind of stuff so
in the midst of worship and adoration as
we are
uh adoring the father and in this
mystical union and experiencing that
through what we are called worship
um we're being changed and conformed
into his image as well
through through that adoration right
just like the you know the
the duck following the dog which is uh
you know who what he is beholding
absolutely we get imprinted upon and so
if we can and that's what the gospel
does and that's why job said i said no
wicked thing before my eye
and what's wicked that's interesting
because we'll be like we have such a
negative
connotation of the word wicked which
yeah there are wicked things that are
but what's a wick what's the wick of a
candle it's when that cotton or whatever
they put in
is twisted and distorted out of its
original
position it's the wick so when we're
wick ed
we're twisted our original intention
original design is twisted out of
what it was meant for and guess what we
were created for
to be imprinted upon by love yeah dude i
seen a tick tock video
yesterday of this dude showing you if
you have a candle that you burnt and put
out
that the wicks they get twisted and they
they they turn it he called a must
they cut they turned into mushroom tips
where like the tip of it just
puffed out he said you always have to
cut the end of those wicks off so that
they'll burn the right way
and you'll get the most out of that
candle so that candle has to work so
you bring in that analogy to the the
candle or the wick is
interesting yeah yeah man so
i set no wicked thing before my eyes
what's my eye my perception
i set no belief about myself
before my perception right and so a lot
of those
affirmations are us trying to get back
to
the original word spoken over us
which is the word of christ created in
him
created for good works projects into the
adoption as sons like it says in
ephesians
what does that mean a predestined to
family bro like very simple
we were predestined to just be in the
family of god like that's how simple it
is
we've religionized god's communication
that he wants a family
and it's one of the worst things we
could have done to god's communication
when you you see nobody else uses
father language the way jesus does
because he's trying to get us out of
religion mode
and get us into family mode yes sonship
yeah
family bro like that's what it's all
about now for a lot of us we had
dysfunctional families growing up we
don't know what that looks like exactly
but we'll project our dysfunctional
family framework
on being in the family of god and not
have the
fullness of the experience because that
dysfunctional framework
blinds us to the truths of the gospel
that bring us into healthy
functional family connection in the
spirit
i want to say this off of uh i was on
your facebook page and you shared a
quote that said that
you know so many people like this and
how people can't take correction they
get offended they get mad when someone
tries to correct them
and my immediate thought when i read
that because i've been someone that
people lash out at
i don't really feel like i've ever been
like corrected
like the right way i was like hey man i
feel like you're off on these things and
where does the bible say that for me
it's always been people scared and they
lash out
like in an attack it's been a facebook
book post about me it's never been like
hey bro
you know why do you believe those things
show me in the word like never
because people don't like confrontation
there's a bunch of that or
i've even had people tell me because i
know the word better than them and they
just
they know better to come to me i've
heard all kind of things but the first
thing that came to my mind when you
shared that and i seen it was the fact
that
we don't uh we get offended when we get
corrected it's because
even in we look at correction as
something the wrong way like
by our parents maybe our parents beat us
and so we shun that correction because
hey you're gonna get this and i'm gonna
beat it into you boy
like i got a belt or a fist or whatever
and we've had like
bad correction in our lives that wasn't
right
and then it even just starts playing out
of how we correct
our brothers hey man this isn't right
i'm going to tell everybody that you're
wrong like hey
let's just you know call me and let's go
to the words together or something so
that was the first thing that came to my
mind you mentioned this family structure
you know and how we had this this false
you know sense of what a family is it's
a dysfunctional family
and we have the functional dysfunctional
correction
as well you know the interesting thing
is
like what you just said is so key
because it comes from childhood
because you know now now we're actually
becoming
more conscious in our parenting there's
books coming out and videos and
psychologists like the holistic
psychologists i don't know if you follow
her but she's fire bro she talked she
doesn't believe in christ
and that's okay you know he still loves
her he's still in her she's still in him
she you know she gets the chance to to
wake up to who
is really giving her all that download
that reality but she talks a lot about
the nervousness and that
and you know we're learning that we have
to let our children
be okay with being wrong they got to
make mistakes
because it's learning and so the
question
to ask for some you know whoever is
listening or
is this what do you make bad
about being wrong what's so bad about
being wrong
because a lot of the time when we have
an aversion to being wrong
we are afraid that being wrong is going
to make us
look stupid or dumb or invaluable
because that's what we were
taught as children maybe that's what we
had an experience from someone older
than us that
imprinted upon us in our consciousness
being wrong is bad you can never be
wrong yeah
and for now it's like i want to be wrong
all the time
why because if i am wrong then i know
that i have an opportunity to learn and
be right not from a self-righteous point
of view
but one of my trainers would say
transformation
happens when you're willing to be wrong
about everything
and that's a that's an unpacking process
like in our
awakening especially as christians
because we we find out hey we've been
taught wrong
like i've been taught wrong on who god
loves i've been taught wrong on
speaking in tongues i've been taught
wrong on this and
this and this and so many people come to
this this this place in their awakening
is like
it's the unlearning process god i got to
unlearn all this stuff father and you
teach me that's been my prayer and many
other people that i know
in christ in in the awakening is like
listen i gotta i gotta forget everything
i learned
i need you to re-teach me god and you
reach that place
absolutely it's an unlearning and a
re-learning
and it's okay it's okay not to have
everything i have all the answers again
back to what we said earlier
you know question everything everything
until you have no
more need for answers because it's not
that you have the answer to everything
but you recognize that the answer has
you
and you're okay with that right like you
live in the mystery it's okay to live in
the mystery
it's okay to live and i don't know you
know all the masters lived and then i
don't know what i don't know
and that's okay if i don't know it
eventually at some point i
mean and if that doesn't come with
christendom though because you have to
be able to give an answer
any time someone asks you about your
faith and be ready to give an answer so
you haven't christened them a lot of
people who make up answers or to speak
as an expert on something they don't
know how many experts you know
on kundalini yoga who have never or the
kundalini spirit who have never done you
couldn't lean to yoga
like there's so many like experts
telling you about or even magic
mushrooms or whatever something they've
never experienced or experienced it
outside of christ
um you know those are just a couple
examples
i'm talking about any and everything
that they'll give you you know what it's
like to be
gay or same-sex attractive they have an
answer for that and you
you really don't know so you're like
making up all of these answers because
you have to
be told that you're a know-it-all it's
scary because like if you don't give
people an answer
if you're trying to lord over people or
or get them in your flock
that if you don't have the answer
they're going to go look for it
elsewhere so it kind of brings up this
and you want you need tithers you need
people in your congregation you have to
be the
master teacher you know don't go listen
to these guys
we'll tell you and so we're giving you
some lame excuse or lame answer for
something we don't even understand
and that's a big problem in christendom
that's a that's a that's a very egoic
thing right it's like
again what do i make bad about being
wrong or not knowing
and so if we create a culture where it's
like it's okay not to know
and it's okay to explore it's okay to
not know and then explore
and yes there there is discernment in
our exploration
right like i am not gonna hang out with
the
i'm not gonna like go to a gnostic
service and like do their rituals and
stuff like that
like though you know the ordo temple
orientis
which i was looking into before the lord
brought me back to him
i was literally gonna get into lester
crowley's type of magic
yeah you know and so like
hold everything with an open hand you
know what i mean
we don't know everything not er not
there's not one person that has all the
answers
again the answer has you and that answer
is christ
so rest in that you know like rest in
love the lord made it that way for a
reason
so that we would get out of people
worship and my pastor says this in my
past
he made it in such a way where like
everybody has a piece of the puzzle
everybody has a piece of it now they may
do their piece really good but when they
get into other territories like hold on
this guy's way off on that i asked this
guy about this and i know for a fact he
this is not the truth i'm talking about
people like john mac arthur like
you know any other like noted christian
even in the christian realm
like okay um or in the esoteric realm
like i'm not gonna
you know people get in trouble because
they asked jordan maxwell about jesus
like
hold on like if you want to know about
the government and secret societies and
you're studying that cool you got to
talk to jordan maxwell you can't talk to
john macarthur about secret societies
and who's running the world
no uh but but if you want to hear about
the cross and about reconciliation like
you may have to go talk to these other
guys
don't talk to john mcarthur about
spiritual giftings and flowing in the
holy spirit and speaking
in tongues don't don't don't do it it's
here a little there little and the lord
designed it like that for a reason
because we're a body we need each other
we we all have our gifts to bring
right like i think that like
and i've been challenged right because
like i do have like a little pushback to
the new age because i
i got so into it i got deceived by so
many things
but there's so much value there and so
like i'm even exploring like
embracing them in a more like embracing
them in a more loving way of just like
hey let's just explore together let's
journey together right like i'm not
going to push you away
because the reality is it's like you
know my problem
and i'm sure you have this problem too
i'm too christian for the new agers
and i'm two new ages that's why we need
each other anthony we gotta do this more
often man i love these pi
dude i didn't got to wear and i'm not
calling any names but i'll do some
podcasts i'm like what am i doing what
am i doing with my life
but i know that like i signed up for
this man and
but because but if i try to christianize
everything and just go to my
they'll cut my head off like i'll be
sacrificed if i go to those people
like try to go to john macarthur and hey
guys you know what's up you know i love
the lord too like i'm done
i'm an enemy i'm a deceiver so you know
this is what
the lord's crafted our journey this way
for a reason he knows what he's doing
man
and uh and and he's done it like this
for a reason like you said like
the way you've kind of got kind of bit
in the in the new age and so much
deception and you've seen it for
what it is once the newness wears off of
anything
you see it for what it is the hebraic
move it's beautiful
hebrew roots and who i am an israelite
uh you know
you know god loves me and then the
newness of that words often like wow
this is
demonic and you know uh separatism and
all of those things are beautiful and
new at first until the newness wears off
and the new age is the same way
christianity is the same way
christianity without
god's spirit in it and and going through
the routine of religion is demonic and
nasty as well
the good thing is that his mercies are
new every morning and so that's where
that newness is supposed to come from
not in these you know institutions or
cool uh you know mindsets so what you
experienced in a new age when you got
bit
he's like i stay away from that a lot of
people have i mean that's the majority
of people who come out of that they're
like hey listen
none of all this is demonic stay away
from it uh even the terminology
leaving your body astral travel breathe
breath work all of that's demonic just
look at stephen bankers
and uh so you come out of that
everything's demonic
but the new agers and and you've been in
both realms so this is good true for you
too
and me is that we got bit by the damn
church
in religion and so now all that's and we
want to stay away from that but the
truth isn't
in a hundred percent right a hundred
percent left hundred percent this
hundred percent that
the truth is in the middle that's where
the balance is in that that
the lord talks about the highway of
holiness or
the narrow path i truly believe the
narrow path is us
walking through the midst of all of this
stuff and not deviating into
any sect or sectarianism or this is the
only way kind of thing is like listen
the lord is in
in all of this a little bit and if we
can taste and see and learn to see him
in all of it we'll do well for ourselves
for sure
it's interesting you brought the narrow
path i love that you know
we the lord showed me how like
we think the narrow path is being a
christian and not being anything else
yeah um on the narrow path i i believe i
have i mentally ascend to all of the
doctrines
i'm on the narrow path or whatever and
you know
what's interesting about the narrow path
and the broad rap the broad path that
leads to destruction
is we can look at our world right now
and see
everybody that follows the broad path it
has
a very we can see that it's very
distinct and it has
one common denominator
judgment
judgment exclusion is the broad path
that leads to destruction
look at everything that was going on
we're excluding each other
and we're creating wars and social media
wars and
stealing elections and all kinds of
craziness
trafficking children like from this
judgment but the narrow road is the road
of christ bro
like okay love your enemy bro
go ahead do that on on some real
you dig like do it go love your enemy
and like
really legit love them and forgive them
like that's
yo that's narrow nobody's preaching love
your enemy bro
everybody's preaching kill your enemy
get back at your enemy
and i'm saying so the the narrow road i
could never love

you know biden is as much in christ as

well that's the thing that's the thing
so let's and this is coming full circle
with that statement
is the fact that we said like you know
what the the problem of the new age and
the problem of the mushroom or the
problem of anything
christ plus anything is the fact that we
feel like we're closer
to god because of listen i don't smoke
i'm closer to god than you brother i
don't do this i don't
gossip i don't do that so and it comes
with this self
righteousness this egoic nature that i'm
closer to god than the next person
so that statement you just said you know
uh he's no closer than
them you know biden is no closer than
billy billy graham
um in in the the rapture of god's love
through
christ who sees us all the same that's
the deception is when we do things
or we read the bible and we feel like
we're closer to god and it comes
it comes with this chip on your shoulder
even in in religion which is
because you perform a religious duty you
go to church you pay your tithes you
partake in a sacrament or whatever you
feel like god
loves you more and that's where all of
the self-righteousness comes in
because when we start fighting each
other we're like hey those guys aren't
aren't as good as me because they still
smoke those guys are
chanting those guys aren't closer to god
because if they were
were closer they wouldn't be doing this
so this self-righteousness thing is
makes us feel like we're
closer to god because we do or done
something the bible is clear
about god's grace and it is is by grace
through
faith alone through this simple
childlike faith of believing
and saying yes to who he says that we
are which makes us
one with god uh which we've always been
but we're able to see through those
blinders
and um that's the that's the biggest
thing of it to uh
and i tell people you'll never be any
closer to god than you are right now
never there's nothing you can do there's
no sin that you can
conquer or overcome now you might have
sins in your life that that are kind of
blocking your view of how close you are
but you're never gonna do anything to be
closer to god than you than you are
right now
you're one with them right now that's
the gospel man

why why would you reject your already
given acceptance
and that you know if there's people on
here that are not identifying as
christians that's okay you don't have to
identify as a christian and
you know you're practicing this and that

now you're invited to participate it's
not even a duty it's not an obligation
right
it's it's his love you don't have to do
anything kindness
is this kindness that leads us to a
change of mind listen if there was
anybody
that was the ultimate teacher of higher
consciousness it was christ
and not some arbitrary you know
blob of energy in the sky somewhere that
we're like hoping
blesses us with our positive thoughts no
no no but like
he taught higher consciousness he taught
like yo
the same mind that was in christ let it
be in you have the same
consciousness that christ had when he
was operated when he's operated on the
earth
and as he is in heaven you know what i'm
saying what is and what's the
what's it what what what's his
definition
his his main core identity is i'm a son
of god
i'm loved right and so like when you
begin to embrace that and let that go in
transform the the neurology right
because you start
yo like do a mantra of i'm a son of god
i'm loved
i'm a son of god i'm loved do a mantra
of that first write it down in hebrew
enchant it like a
do that too right and like like what
what happened to the neural pathways in
your brains
and then begin to affect your nervous
system you'll start to see the
transformation
yeah happen right because the gospel is
meant
to be a somatic again back to this a
somatic experience
you know i had one of my trainers in one
of the trainings would say
you don't think your beliefs you feel
them
if you really want to know what you
believe about something pay attention
to your body and how it responds and the
feelings that come up
because if i really believe i'm abundant
i will feel
abundant not just think abundant right
and so if i really believe
i'm a child of god i will feel
it i will feel the connection of being a
child of god i will feel the connection
of being
included in christ i will if i really
believe that he accepted me
then i will live from that place of
being accepted and now
again it's his kindness that leads us to
that change of mind
you know so my my encouragement to you
is to look towards his kindness look at
look at look at everywhere that he is
kind to you
you have breath of your lungs like
you're provided for on multiple levels
you're listening to this podcast right
now you're supremely blessed
yeah the issue is is that we count our
miseries on a calculator and our
blessings on our hand
when it's supposed to be the reverse
we're to count our miseries on our hand
and our blessings on a calculator yeah
that's good man god's goodness leads us
to repentance and
and i've i've let that be my staple of
how i preach and teach the gospel
and i'll show the gospel i guess and uh
and and
we have it the other way around um in
the church going back to what i just
said or feeling like we can do something
to be accepted or to be closer
so god's goodness allows you to repent
it is the supernatural power that say
hey man
there's better for you have a change of
heart have a change of mind and
believe this versus the other way around
when religion would teach it that
if you repent then then
god will love you if you'll stop sinning
then he'll love you he doesn't love you
right now man
because you're still smoking because you
cheated because you
you're not qualified anymore well that
the gospel is the fact that
god doesn't call the qualified he
qualifies the call
and and what his love is done for us
really requires it doesn't require
anything on our part but to simply say
yes
hold out our hands and that hey thank
you i thank you for what you've done for
me that i don't have to do it and
in that it opens up this whole realm of
mystical experience one thing
i wanted to end on just for this
question for you as you're talking about
the body
and uh the somatic gospels and
experiencing it in our body and
feeling trauma in our body and allowing
it to speak and things like that to know
where we need to go
there's a lady in in our group she
teaches um
christian tapping so from a
chrysocentric
i don't know much about it do have you
ever experienced it like there's
different
and i may be mixing up two things but
there's one where you can like tap on
your body and speak to it like
that kind of thing and start speaking
these mantras and there's there's that
kind of practice and then there's this
other practice of like
and it may be called something else but
tapping but like you can hold your hand
and ask a question
and if it's true that's called
kinesiology
it was um developed by um
what's the guy's name i forget his name
but he wrote a book called
uh power versus force his incredible
writer
dr david hawkins i believe
and so it's the body the body responds
in in kinesiology is that the question
yeah yeah
yeah so does that do you practice it or
is it related to you know this
somatic experience yes it is so i don't
i don't um do the kinesiology um i've
wanted to get into i just
haven't gotten around to it but the way
that i i teach in a
similar way um
a type of kinesiology instead of doing
the the hand or like the the fingers
because i know you can like
put your fingers together and ask a
question or whatever it's
you know presenting it and then tap like
being
very aware and i teach practices on how
to really be aware in the body
and notice where there's any contraction
or tension in the body
and then we know where to go right and
then we know where to go like okay
what's the lie that i'm believing
or what's the trauma that i haven't
addressed that is stuck in the body
you know and you know you got people
that will say oh just believe the gospel
and everything is found
it's like yes i get it it's true the
objective reality
but the truth is i know a lot of
christians who are christians and
they're anxious
they suffer with depression you know
i'll give you a a story
um one of one of my first students in
the mirror shift training
she had this idea implanted into her
head
because of certain thoughts that she
might be schizophrenic
so she started looking up schizophrenia
on
google and she started looking up all
these symptoms she's like oh my goodness
and she started self-diagnosing herself
as schizophrenic and guess what started
to happen
she started to have schizophrenic uh
symptoms
she went to the training she started
renewing her mind
she's like i made that up i made up the
story
that i might be schizophrenic now
granted there are some people who are
certainly schizophrenic and uh you know
i'm not giving medical
psychological medical advice on this
podcast and telling you not to
you know seek medical professional help
if that's what you need
okay i all i'm saying is your mind is
extremely powerful and you can
uh induce a psychosomatic
uh response from your mind there are
women
who i kid you not dude this is crazy
there are women
who can believe that they're pregnant so
strongly
that amniotic fluid will start to
develop in their womb
yeah a sac will start developing in the
room and they'll start
their period will stop they'll start
having all the the pregnant symptoms
and even their belly will start growing
out i knew i knew a
woman that that happened to she got
pregnant but there was no baby
and i went through this yeah you can
psychosomatically right and so like
again in the proverbs in king james it
says as a man thinketh
so is he so like i don't really do the
the kinesiology thing
although i'd love to learn it because i
think it's a helpful tool yeah um
but you know yeah you see how it's
related to the body responding back it's
good stuff
and uh we i mean it opens up so much so
much stuff but
i got a lady in our group who does the
tapping stuff so i'm pretty sure we'll
do some
sessions with her but uh uh another
question before we plug your program

when are we doing another song oh
bro just let's do it man let's do it we
do it um
i'm in the middle of moving so like
probably like sometime mid april you
know what i'm saying
we'll send send over some beats and we
could do like a songwriting session on
zoom or whatever
we can coming up because i've been i've

you know i've just been really busy with
running a business and
family you know i got a new baby you
know got married in 2019 so
my marriage is still fresh you know yeah

i was doing some wild stuff
yeah i was on some wild stuff bro that's

first time i did like a campaign of hey

couple people and then like
five months later i did it again and it
was an influx of people
and got people all over the world
singing this course that you wrote and
it's
it's quickly become like a fan favorite

we usually do them the first
weekend of each month and uh it's
two eight to nine hour days
of packaging like
you're packed in with the training and
so like the core
the core of the the training is around
the three points that really
run the three energies or forces that
run our life
or dominate our consciousness which is
we're either still and aware and present
to god's presence
and we're quiet inwardly or
we're stuck in a limiting belief
that's a lie or
we're operating from an empowering
belief that's a truth that god's already
spoken over us
and so i teach awareness practices on
how to hit those three points
and come from like if i'm in a lie and i
can tell
i'm operating in a lie because my
nervous system is freaking out
i'm in fight flight or freeze so then
what
that you let that you know what we call
negative emotion
trigger um the practice of being aware
and once you're clear you go into the
truth of the gospel
who you are in christ and you let that
anchor
into your nervous system and you start
to see your nervous system responds
differently with different situations
come up
because your awareness is expanded and
you're more aware of truth than you are
of illusions and it's called the mirror
shift training
and the reason i call it that is because
you know like you said
we become what we behold the scripture
says that christ is our mirror
so as we look into the mirror of christ
to see who we are
and we behold
sorry as we look into that mirror we
start to witness and realize and
transform into who we really truly are
in him and you know it's not that we're
becoming more of what we're
you know it's not like i'm not this so
i'm gonna try to become this to this
practice
it's no no you are already this and so
this practice is removing
all of the veils and illusions that
block you from
seeing who you really are like when the
diamond is covered by
layers and layers and layers of dirt and
rocks
you know all at the core there's that
diamond
but it's covered with all this crap and
so the the mirror shift
is removing the layers of lies and then
discovering
the diamond that's within that's so good
dude
um it was communicated with me years ago
on a psilocybin journey is like you're
not becoming
you already are we just gotta let it
come out of you it's already in there
you're not it's not
ex external you're not becoming this
you're not going to be this you already
are
and we need to work on how to bring that
out so good stuff man uh

connect more man i really
resonate with what you got going on
christo-centric and uh
just the healing aspects of it so any
