Are Christians co laborers with Christ in the process of the reconciliation of all things? Is this something that believers should openly engage with in the spirit realm? When asked if believers should be seeking to reconcile or save demonic forces in the spirit realm Dr.Ogbonnaya gets a bit emotional and likens the practice to necromancy. Dr.O also says that some people spend their time trying to convert demons to the light because they are possibly too afraid to witness to their neighbors and share the gospel. I can also attest that some things I’ve been hearing in the charismatic heavenly movement sounds a little like escapism and overactive imaginations. We will never have power in the spirit realm that does not convert over into our reality. The weight of glory and authority that believers walk in should be able to be measured in the realm of the living as well. How are we successful at binding principalities but abortion is at an all-time high? How are we battling or converting demons in the heavenlies but our marriages are in shambles? If your spirituality is not practical it is either not real, carries no power or is simply an illusion. As Bible believing Christians we believe some pretty far out things but at the end of the day the stories and power communicated through belief in the scripture and intimacy with God converts to character, grace, wisdom and perseverance. All are fruits that others are able to partake of that will bring lasting change and glory back to Jesus. We do not have to embellish stories and try to one up each other to prove who is more spiritual or used of God. Every encounter in the spirit should be out of relationship with God the Father and flow from there. Through this relationship God will blow your mind and there will be no need for creating false encounters. When you signed up for being a Christian you signed up for the wildest, most intricate ride of your life. The things that God is wanting to express to you and through you will blow you away beyond your wildest imaginations.
