Since I was a little kid I knew ghosts were real, because I could see and sometimes hear them. And they scared me. I wanted nothing so much as to find a ghost, but at the same time I was afraid I would!
I didn’t realize then that I’d be chasing ghosts, to one degree or another, all my life. Now I know that I’m drawn to ghosts because I want to tell their stories, and the stories of the people who encounter them.
I am a native Mobilian, and have lived here all my life. We have a family business and I write for it, too, as well as volunteer projects. I am always seeking new true stories of local hauntings.
My Mobile Ghosts series of books have gone from traditional paper publishing onto to the internet because it is so much quicker and easier to share the stories, and what a lifetime of studying ghosts has taught me.
