Again, to talk about all things spiritual, leaving no stone unturned. We're going to cover it all. We're going to be talking about gratitude. Gratitude unfiltered. We're going to be talking about spirituality in the raw. I'm just going to open up, man, we're going to get it in. Like always, man, I've been having fun, man. Doing some really cool podcast. And I've just put an update out with all of the different guests who I have lined up between now and January. And I got some really cool names, really cool people lined up. A lot of people hitting me up wanting to come on the show, some really big names, and I'm blown away. I'm really blown away. I don't, I don't even really like doing that. You guys know that like I don't really like talking about, I don't like counting my eggs before they hatch, right? And I don't know why. I just like to make sure that it's in the bag and then kind of release it. But I want to head and put it out there because I know a lot of other shows that you guys know like who they have coming on. So yeah, if you go to trucetega.com you'll be able to see the guests that are lined up. Because I have to probably one of the reasons Sometimes you have a no show with the guest, you know, you got them lined up for promoting it ready to go And then they something comes up. So I don't like to count my eggs before they hatch, but um Yeah, go check out some of the names some really really cool people who were lined up To come on a podcast as a guest. So I'll just say that Quick updates really quick My book is doing really well. Thank you guys for all the support if you guys can see it here on camera after you're listening, you can't see it, but it is a beautiful book. Make sure you go check it out. Go to truthstika.com, check out my book, Spirit Realm, Angels, Demons, Spirits, and the sovereignty of God, forward by Jordan Maxwell. It's doing really good. You can purchase it on Amazon or get an autograph copy off of my website, truthstika.com, check that out. One thing I want to talk about too is that I've been trying to figure out how to promote stuff on the podcast because sometimes when this goes live on the audio end, it doesn't go off to sometimes like a week after. Maybe I need to get on it and start releasing it the same day because I'll promote an event or a book or pre-order or something like that. And then by time it's come out, the pre-sales over or the item is sold out. And that's kind of what happened with an event that we put together. I was gonna go hit the woods and go for a ceremony in the woods by myself and do a retreat. And it was just kind of time, something that was calling me through plant medicines, silicaibin or muskamal, actually. And I was gonna do it. So I put it out there, it's like, you know what, let me just make a retreat out of this. I got some things that I need to lay down on the altar of the earth and see if anybody else wants to go. So I booked a cabin, got several beds. It was literally seven beds that we had available for people who wanted to come. I put it out there on a podcast, did a quick video on it. Hey, if you wanna come, here's the link to buy the tickets. Literally within 24 hours, all the seven beds were sold out at $100 each I think it was. And so many more people just emailing me and hitting me up, wanting to go. And I'm like, man, it's already sold out. So there's podcasts that are still coming out of me saying, Hey, we're gonna do this. I think the last one that I just put out is me talking about doing it. Like it was an idea and then the next one's like, yeah, we're gonna do it. And then now they're sold out. But with that being said, because of the interest in this and everybody who is kind of interested in it and wanting to go out and have a come to Jesus moment, if you will in nature with the use of plant medicines, plant teachers and wanting to be with me something like this. I'm going to probably do it quarterly. It's going to be something that I'm going to do quarterly and I'm going to go ahead because I only have seven beds available and I think that's a good number but for those of you who weren't able to get in on the first one I'm going to go ahead and book the one for April. So if you go to troopsika.com you will see the tickets available there. So you can go to troopsika.com and book your stay with me in nature with the plant teachers. If that's what interests you, I don't want to convince you, I don't want to trick you. I just want to put it out there and I believe that it's something that you already know. You're just looking for and everybody who's reached out to me at this point has been people who's already been wrestling with it or looking into it. And when I said it, it was kind of synchronicity for them. So if that's you, head on over to the website, book your stay there. It's going to be good. We're going to do it in April. And by the end of this episode, everything should be up. So, truthstigate.com, check that out. Now we're going to go ahead and jump into today's episode. My friend, Debbie Garcia, Debbie, how are you? I'm on muting myself. Good morning. Oh, juicy God. Derek, how are you? I'm doing well, my friend. How are you? Well, right now, I, in this moment, I am full of huge gratitude joy because I'm sitting with you. One of my favorite people in this world and your music rock, your book rocks, everything about you rock. So I have huge, huge gratitude just for right. Heck yeah. And I want to say I thank you to you publicly as well because when I there was a couple people who I reached out to when the day the book came out and it was just a couple friends who have podcasts and shows on the internet. And it wasn't playing in the thing, it was like the day of, hey, we got live on your channel. And we went live and we talked about the book on your channel, and I sold a decent amount to some people in your audience who was blown away, who I had never heard of my work before, and because you interviewed me and had me on your show, they are now followers of the work, and supporting what I have going on with the book and the music and stuff like that, so thank you for that, and also thank you, because every time that you go live, you play an intro, and your intro is usually one of my songs that you play. And so thank you publicly on my platform for doing any introduce introducing so many people to my music. And it means the world. So thank you so much, friend. Ah, I received that so wonderfully, uh, Derek, but I got to tell you this is about, this is what this is about. We support each other in this beautiful state of of comparison, that's celebrating other people's joy. There are accomplishments, there are successes. And if we could all just show up for people and support them with no agenda, just because, I mean, listen, you guys heard her hear his music, because if you follow me, you're following Derek. I guarantee you, true seeker, because your music, what a perfect intro for me. You put all of this creative effort into bringing forward all of this awesome creativity and music and messages, excuse me. And I get to use that to lift the vibration before I even start, dude, I mean really, it's a beautiful collaboration though, but this is what we do for each other in life. We help each other out and we lift each other up and I hope that if you guys have just got to anything from what Derek was during his edification, because that's what I call that. I love edification. I hope if you got anything that you show up for people and you do it just because you love them you just you just want to share them with the world. So continue to share it to Derek's work. You guys he puts some serious time in there. And you know how I feel about that. So thanks Derek. Oh for sure for me it's it's big and I'm sure we've discussed this before because like I'm coming from the religious background Like I can only share your work if you agreed with everything that I believe in you know So that up she's got some things she talks to aliens or whatever the cases So I can't really promote what you got going on, you know what I'm saying But now I'm in a space where like I champion our differences and I really think there's beauty in the differences and stuff like that So to move past those dog mugs and like constructs that we have or whatever it says say hey, you know It those who whatever you're into if it resonates with those people then they'll be drawn to it regardless if I promoted her not really You know, so just to really see that man and share that because that was a big one coming from the religious background for me of not like Promoting anything or being seen like you're affiliated with it and stuff like that so I've totally probably, you know, distance myself from that and really found beauty on the other side. Hmm. I, I love what you're putting out here. I mean, spirituality got mild. That's what it's about. It's about that expression of self. So it's a beauty, what you're saying is so perfect. There's no right or wrong. There's no judgment coming from the religious background. Whoo, I getcha. Whoo, my grandma was the United Pin of Coastal. My, my mom, you know, she's now non denominational Christian. Um, there's, I went to Western Christian high school. There's a lot of people who were friends with me on my Facebook when I started this journey to Derek and let me tell you, they're either slamming me or they're disassociating themselves. Yeah, but that's not, but what I'm digging is like, that doesn't stop us because I love the space that we are at you and I are at the alignment that we have here in just being so beautifully accepting radically accepting of everyone and radically appreciating everyone in all forms of expression, all forms of how that they choose to connect with source. However, that that may look, you know, I don't know, Derek, is it so much that, hey, you got to do it this way, or is it more just do it? It doesn't really matter how you do it. Just get there. I think so. But you know, instead of just letting anything fly or hey, we're open for whatever, like there's still some discernment that has to be had, you know, and sometimes we are able to pull cards and call BS and like, and that's okay. Like, because we can like through the discernment, we can discern like the the motives and intentions of people, you know what I'm saying? and you got somebody who's like all love and light but you know they're really just trying to manipulate people and sell books and they're making their stories up they're just kind of making this stuff up as they go so like we still have to be cautious or whatever about what you promote and what you align with but if you can like discern the person's motives and kind of see their fruit and see that they're good people or whatever then I'm all for it you know. You rock. I love I I am completely in alignment with that right there and I appreciate you even brought up discernment is huge. And the way I the way I handled discernment is this if it doesn't feel right it probably isn't but that's just for me. And if it doesn't look right it probably isn't right. I mean go with it's tapping into our own internal guidance system, our own gut, our intuitive nature. We know you everyone knows. And I mean, if you've got somebody who's worshiping a big rock, you might want to think about that. You know, and telling you to give you, you know, a couple thousand dollars to worship that rock. You might want to think about that. It might not be good. Yeah, there's a lot of crazy stuff out there. But um, before we go too, too far into this, we've mentioned it because we know, but we talk about gratitude on filter and we talk about spirituality gone wild. Let people know what that is and what you bring to the table, so you kind of introduce yourself. I love that. Thanks, Doug. All right, I'm Debbie G. I'm the founder of Spirituality Go Wild. Spirituality Go Wild is an awesome network where people who are doing great work can be seen. It is a platform that we are beautifully co-creating and we have all of these awesome guests and hosts and it's just wonderful. Gratitude, that's my gig. I am the gratitude alchemist is what I call myself. Gratitude, live it, breathe it, eat it, speak it, love it. It is the, I call gratitude, joy is gratitude's belly button, like the pill's very doughboy. Gratitude, you can change everything, our practice of cultivating gratitude. Not just feeling grateful, okay, I'm grateful for that, but literally cultivating it as a practice in your life. And right now, I actually have a 21-day practice, practice going. It's the gratitude all coming to life experiment. And I call it a life experiment because we've got compassionate communication. We've got all types of different modalities, healing modalities. We're working with our intuition. But the basis is gratitude practice every day. But we're doing this because I found Derek that I have been so blessed to sit across from so many great people for the past couple of years on spirituality gone wild. And I'm interviewing them. And I'm just being fed so much yumminess and it's all been an experiment like I'll hear something so I'll try it in my own life just to experiment to see how it's working and but every single time no matter what it is and no matter what I'm doing gratitude is the foundation of everything that actually is shifting something within the perspective of life for me and from what from the the gratitude glasses I look out of life for and I love that it yeah it's rose Those color glasses, I call them gratitude glasses, that's okay. It's awesome, because you're shifting the consciousness, you're reaching people that I can't reach, you know, and you're just, I mean, you know, everybody just doing their part, you know, changing the consciousness of the planet, you know, building faith and promoting love and gratitude really at the end of the day is the, you know, is the fuel for this type of movement or spiritual experience, right, if it's done out of anger or bitterness or like, you know what I'm saying, being a victim, but it's just about sitting in gratitude. I start everything out with that. Even like when we pray as a as a group or I even I pray by myself, like I start out with gratitude. Let me just say I'm thankful to be here. Let me say that I'm thankful for my breath. And I start with the breath that I'm just conscious of it. Then I start would move out to my heartbeat in my hands and then you know everything in my life and just sitting in this place of gratitude and everything comes out of that man and it's so beautiful and the scripture says that uh that it's love that fuels the face like if you have face like love is what if if faith was a vehicle love would be the fuel but i think that love and gratitude go hand in hand as well. Absolutely. Love is all that there is. We are that unconditional love. And when I mailed love and gratitude, I call that love a toad. Yeah. I love it too. And I'm reading here in the chat right now. And Christy says, I think Christy folks says gratitude and faith, go hand in hand. Gratitude and faith, gratitude and love. As far as I'm concerned, they're they entertain. Right? I mean, it's all, oh, I love that. And it's, it's just, they're, they're a beautiful marriage. What about, what about for those, those people, for me, again, I start with the breath and the heartbeat, what about for those people who don't really have anything to be grateful for? They're like victim, they're sick in their body, they're in failing marriages, you know, they don't have any friends around them. It just seems like, you know, you guys have all this stuff to be thankful for when somebody listening to this it's like I don't have anything to be be be grateful for. What would you say to those people? That's a really great. That's a great question. You know, in my life and my experience, what I discovered was even when I couldn't be in gratitude, like I'd be you know, I'm looking at my external circumstances. I feel you know, I was in that victim state. At that at those moments when you start wishing you could be in gratitude, you know, The thing is, is that, well, let's start, let's explain what gratitude does in the brain. So when we're in our victim state, we are coming from back here in our reptilian brain, our raw, raw brain. And last night in class, I was talking about the fact that if you all ever noticed, your reptilian part of your brain, which is your reactive space, it's directly connected downward to your to your butt. Okay, I mean, I'm sorry, but look at that's the reptilian ego. I want you guys to really think about this because listen our idea here is when we're coming from gratitude we automatically shift to the frontal cortex right here also the third eye connected to what our heart space that's a lot better than being connected to our butt. You feel what I'm saying? We are in that space of whining, complaining, judging, feeling like our life is going to hell in a handbag and that's the way we're perceiving it. the reason gratitude works is it shifts it to the frontal lobe. Even if you can't getting gratitude, getting gratitude over your breath, getting gratitude over the fact you just opened your eyes. When we start looking for what is good in our experience right now, not the win, the win never happens. You're going to be waiting forever. I can promise you because I did that. It didn't work. Being getting gratitude, I don't care what it is the tiniest thing, just practice that today. If you're life, if you're looking outside of you right now and you're just like everything sucks, I might, my heart's with you because I know that that feels true for you right now. And I'm not, I'm not going to tell you that that's not true for you, but I would like to encourage you to take a breath and realize the air I breathe in outside of me is inside of me, a same as source that this connection makes us feel so separate, that illusion of this connection. Gratitude can help to change that for you because it's going to bring you within connection. Not to mention the fact that it produces more serotonin and dopamine in the brain, proven studies done by Dr. Robert Evans at UC Berkeley. It's good stuff. Um, approaching it with this, this level of gratitude and being thankful. I want to play this clip and I just shared my computer sound so that you can hear it. But this is a clip that, um, really, I love it. But, um, it's a football player named Marshawn Lynch. And so he doesn't like media. He doesn't like doing post game interviews. He likes to show up, play football, do his thing. And that's it. So he got in trouble. He got fined a lot of money for not engaging with with the media cuz they're like by contract They have to do interviews and stuff. He got fine. So they charged him. He got had to pay a bunch of money and so now During this era, this is what I think back in 2015 or so he would just kind of like answer with one liners They would ask them all these questions and stuff. So I want to I want to play this clip right quick for you and for the and for the listeners as well. Let me see if I can show my computer to the listeners. Let's see. Okay, there's something. Okay, there's, all right, great. So check this out. I love it. I love the way he responds, because I take this and I sit in this too, but check it out. Here's this response. Y'all wanna try again, huh? So y'all gonna try again? That's what we're gonna do. We're gonna try one more time, one more time, one more try, one more try. That's, we got one more try. me off the trial y'all won't but that's what we got I mean what to tell you anything about I just thank you I mean I'm just I just shall I talk about the celebration dance at the P.M. Chancellor's session Okay, that's the one I respond. What can you do when you go to battle, especially with the pressure that you're going to run in the third quarter to really bring through the run to you. I'm thankful. I can find your performance in the second half, the big run. I'm thankful. I'm thankful, I'm thankful. I'm thankful. What was the song of the day on the way to the game, Marcia? I'm thankful. I'm sorry. I just I just love it. I just love the fact I'm always reminded of that. They're they're trying to get these responses out of them. They're trying to get them to engage in his only response. I'm thankful. I'm thankful. It was bringing tears to my eyes. I wasn't so much crap. I'm like, yeah. Dude that was killer. Yeah, for some reason my mind always goes back to that I just sit and I'm just like I'm thankful man I just think of him responding because he did a lot of interviews like that where he would just answer was thankful because he's required to say something so he's gonna say anything is like look I'm thankful Just thankful to be here, you know, it's awesome, but I love it. Um Yeah, just just shifting You know, you're your your focus and for me like This, I remember scaring some church people with this one time, somebody said, they're thankful for all the good things in life, right? They're thankful for all the blessings and like, and I commented on it. I was like, I'm thankful for all the bad things too. I'm thankful for all the demons and for the bad things and the scary things, right? I mean, that's what this book is about being thankful for all that and seeing the ecosystem of the way this stuff works and in the contrast, like you don't know that something is good until you've seen something bad. Like you wouldn't be able to cause you're so used to being in the lighter and all these good things. But I'm thankful for the bad things. I'm thankful for the demons literally and knowing their position and their, you know, created beings that have a job to carry out to, like buff at you and make you thankful. You know what I'm saying? So that when you do, when you are in the light, you can recognize it. What would you say about that of like the dark times and really, because I really feel like that's a whole nother level that we need to get to is being able to see, like God's hand in all of it in the good time, like God is only good, right, and God is only light and God is not in this or God is only in that, but seeing that all of it works together for our good, the good, the bad, the ugly, the in between, the questions doubts. What would you say to that about being thankful for the hard times, you know? Well, I think that rocks. Without your dark, you wouldn't know your spark. You just said it, you literally just said it. You said, if I didn't know what I, if I didn't know the dark, I wouldn't know what I don't like. I wouldn't know what I don't want. But also getting in gratitude, When we actually appreciate the contrast as an object from an observation, it is an opportunity. So this is where we can practice a shift. We can look at the contrast. We can look at the dark and realize there's an opportunity in this for you, for you. All that stuff you're hating on right now. If you just take a minute and just observe it, Look at it as an opportunity because it's showing you some. Show it what you don't want. Take a real deep look. What does that usually mean? If you're doing something and it's not working probably time to change it. What a great moment to step into and say, whoo, I love you contrast. Thank you. Oh my God. It's a without your dark. You wouldn't know your spark moment. it. And I've had the contrast. This is all the experience contrast trauma. And I get it. I mean, you could be on the playground and get trauma. And or you could be from extreme circumstances. I've had extreme circumstances. You know, and you know what I'm grateful? I had so many different beautiful opportunities to look at my trauma or not my trauma to look at the experiences as we call dark and horrible and blah, blah, blah. Because I couldn't be who I am. I wouldn't be sitting here right now. I wouldn't know how to show up for people with a compassionate heart. So I wouldn't get what they're going through. I went through everything so that I could show up for y'all. That's a gratitude moment in itself, because this shit's not about me, man. It's like that was the biggest part about the contrast to show it to me more than anything, you know, we're, if I'm having contrast with other human beings, I'm in that space so all of us can grow together, but when we start practicing how to do that out of love and how to communicate our, and vocalize differently, because there's this whole aspect, gratitude is the foundation, but then also how we can passionately communicate the contrast can show you how to begin to not only be authentic and vulnerable within yourself and express your needs but also help these other human beings that are in their contrast by helping them remember who they are. We forget these things and that's why we get these opportunities to remember. Contrast is just a beautiful joy of oh yeah I don't like that. What's the opposite of it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. And, um, you know, also too, like, not being, um, afraid or trying to wish away a situation, like trying to hurry up and get out of it, like, there's this, you know, this whole thing with escapism, like, it's like, I don't feel good today. Well, for some of us, there's a reason why we don't feel good. like we did something right or we uh our diets off maybe we had too much to drink the night before and now we feel like crap so like there's a reason that you feel feel a certain type of way so trying to escape it versus like being present in the moment and understanding why you feel this way or why I feel happy right doesn't always have to be bad is you know just being happy but being in that moment and knowing that, you know, um, our feelings and our emotions change, change like the weather, you know, even in the same, like not from day to day, we're for a lot of people, even in the same day, you start out having a great day or some people say, you know, I started, I don't know, woke up on the wrong side of the bed and just kind of woke up feeling this way, you know what I'm saying? I woke up like this. So, um, but being present with, with like, knowing ourselves versus being ruled by our emotions and our egoic mind and wanting to flee a bad situation or the way we feel, you know? I absolutely do. And what you're talking about is what we all experience as being perfectly human. You know, we're here to maneuver the human experience. Our spirits and check, man, but we're here maneuvering this experience as human beings. So when we hope each other do that, how does that look when you get up on the wrong side of the bed, you have choices to make? And let's say that you are feeling horrible because whatever is going on, you're right. That's called self-care, self-nurturing. Knowing when you need to take care of yourself and refill that cup or your body's saying, hey, you need to chill out or your body's saying, I got to look, we got to talk about what you were doing last night because I'm not happy with you. But self-first is not selfish. Self-first is about really taking, and that's that beautiful accountability for self. But yeah, you got to listen to your body, listening to what is it telling you? It comes up in emotion. Emotions and motion, Billy Squire, saying this song a long time ago, I always pops in my head. I think you're too young to remember that song there. I'm not thinking you do, but for you older generation that I just aged myself with, y'all know what I'm talking about. The emotional scale, did you know that you can actually, you got an emotional scale and I have, I was just going over this last night. You can be, do a mindfulness practice on the emotional scale. Joy to, if you're down in, if you're down in fear and you're and you're down in anger, you're not gonna jump up the joy in a two-second flat, especially if you're feeling like shit, because the other night, oh my god, it was a, you know, last night, it was whatever. How are you gonna do that? I use, I swear to you, I use what I call the gratitude night to catch myself. is it? Mwahaha Yeah. Yeah. You can't do the business you have to know about. 1982. Which one? Or you beat the board now? It's nice. It does. Huh? Were you even born here? No. 84. 84. Yeah. He looks like on this cover as far as the artwork, he looks kind of like, David Bowie, like that Bowie asked with the colors and stuff. It was kind of funky, right? Your emotions, Derek, you know what? I could feel one way, one second, and because I'm a human being and I'm perfectly human, I'm gonna feel another way and another second. But the idea here is that we have the actual control over our thoughts, mindfulness practices of where you're at on the emotional scale. What I have my students do is I have them or scientists is really what I'm calling them, is to do a practice where they set an alarm every hour. They have the emotional guidance scale, so they've got a spiral that has, you can find them right online, or if somebody wants to just message me on Facebook and I'll send you a spiral sheet that you can use for a reference. Set the alarm and take a self check, where are you at? And then take a mindful, then take that to mindfulness, write it down and just observe where you're at. It's time to start paying attention to what you're thinking and pay attention and realize that you can make a different decision, a different choice, a different thought. You can shift it within seconds. Notice that if you say, well, I'm really freaking pissed off about this and I love that. And I'm grateful for that. I wish I was grateful for that. I wish I was grateful, which your brains here and is gratitude, grateful. It's not hearing the I wish. It's not hearing that I need to be. It's not hearing the I want. So your subconscious starts soaking in that we're gratitude, even though you're recognizing your human emotion of I'm pissed off, okay, good, perfectly human. And I love that. Why? Because we're loving into our contrast. And I wish I was grateful for that because I'm so not grateful right now. Okay, cool. You're still telling your subconscious a different story. This is all about shifting and changing your story. And when your story quits work for you, let's just use simple tools, guys. Thankfulness is so easy. And the fact that you can control your own actual thought, your own emotion. Emotions, emotion, emotion. Everybody in the chat's like, oh, I love that song. Billy's also like, oh, you got a bunch of fans. I've never heard of him, but obviously the chat has. Maybe that's why. Oh, good. So I got a lot of elderly in there with me. We haven't quite got our cane yet. But I want to tell you, I'm going to share something with you, Derek. You ready for this. Go ahead. All right. I have this. My audience knows her name is Rosie. I want to give you guys a quick. If you're ever in victim syndrome, once you remember Rosie, okay, you've got this friend and you're telling me about this friend, okay? And I know you need a way on balance, but I'm going to let you keep rolling. But here's what I'm going to tell you. It stands to me like your friend is in victim syndrome. That's like the, yeah, that's V. S. It's kind of like V. D. and it is contagious. So be careful with that. But I'm going to tell you what what you do is you get a victim but her emergency kit. And it's got this special hemorrhoidal pile and you just go and sit them right down on that and get them some tissue for their issues. And as John Fiehori says, it's super important too to have a special edema if it's quite necessary. but I promise you there's a bogey because if you're noticing your friends victim syndrome chances are you're in yours too. Remember that when you start judging that other person, Rosie saying. We got, I'm lighting it up, okay, because we all know we all get into that victim shit. I'm trying to tell you guys, don't take it so seriously, but seriously, look at what you're look at what you're doing when you do it. Yeah, my wife doesn't let me get into mine because like she works with um uh children who have like cerebral palsy and disabled children and stuff like that and so like I start complaining about something going on or whatever the case she's like no no no no no and and you know there's always someone who is you know I'm saying more worse often you whether it's someone else that's even projecting it outside itself but where you could be a lot worse off I think that like looking back over our lives and stuff too like of seeing that we made it through the darkness, even though we may like be going through some stuff right now, like I'm sure you can look back over your life and see that you've made it through something like, you know what I'm saying? You made it through the womb, like you was in a race with all of these other people and you made it out, like that was a tough time and then going through birth trauma and I made it out of that, you know what I'm saying? So like just looking back for me, it's like, you know, there was probably a lot of times I should have been dead or maybe should have been in jail even, right? Some of the stupid stuff that I've done over the years, but I'm still here, you know. And so now that I'm able to look back at that, I'm grateful, look back at some of the times of depression or questions and seeing that I made it through all of that. And for me, um, it really helps because when I face, when I face another trial that's similar to the other one, small thing to a giant, like I've done this before. What else you got? right. We can get through this. There's nothing that we can't get through. There's nothing that we can't, you know, uh, you know, there's no storm that that we can't, you know, navigate through and the whole thing with like God and Christ and stuff is like, you're going to go through the storms, you know, but you don't have to go through them alone. You know what I'm saying that you have the comforter. You have God here with you who's, uh, planning this story for you and got some things that he wants to show you and it's going to build character in you, man, that you can't, you can't, there's things that grow in the valleys that don't grow on top of the mountains. And we have to go through these tests, these, these dry seasons and these low places and or whatever, to, to birth something beautiful within us, you know, and to see, okay, it's part of the process and part of my journey, you know, and let's do it, you know, don't bring anything all point yourself though right as people who bring bad stuff up on their self on the end and blame God right God did this as like yeah and you blame God you know because it's part of the journey you know yeah but you did it you code your co-creators man you know oh straight up oh my god I love that cup I got to tell you you actually just that is the the rattest cup in the world. Oh my gosh. You guys need to get one of those. Everybody on spirituality got mild. Y'all need one. So good.com. Too sweet. Absolutely. Okay. Number one, I got to tell you that you actually just went over one of the best gratitude practices there are. And that is looking back on your life and making a list of things that you've gotten through. You mentioned that this is a point reference for you. That's another gratitude moment in itself right there in a nutshell because that point of reference can help you to make a different decision faced with the same same type of circumstances. Then I heard you talk about cell sabotage and not taking ownership, but then we're going to go rat back to Rosie and talk about that victim syndrome because that's where it comes from. But the beauty is that you can find a reason to connect with the truth of who you are by actually going back and saying, I've made it through all this. Stop and breathe in the moment, present. I got this. We forget sometimes who we are when we get these big challenges coming up, and let's face it, everyone complains. And everybody needs a ambulance. We're all human. Those perfectly human moments, though, it's what I'm hearing you say is, I catch myself, and I got a great reminder. It's called my wife, and I love that, but it's also the fact that that you know how to catch yourself. And that's what these practice and these tools are for. It's not because it's not because we're telling you how you're doing it isn't right. We're just saying that if you're not happy, there might be some another way to do this. And that's what these suggestions are about. I just ask that everybody, if you can't be in gratitude over anything in your own life, maybe there's somebody, somebody who is huge your life at one time that you can think about right now who who is this person because who you're grateful for is one of the biggest one of my biggest shining moments whenever I can think of who is it in my life that helped me to get to where I'm at right now and go back to that person whether they're here or not and thank them thank them and if you could reach out to that person do that you know we started this off with this beautiful edification going on, edification is is recognizing somebody for how that they've shown up in your life, how that they're showing up in the world, how they've impacted you, how important this is for us to let each other know. So part of these practices not only do exactly what Derek could say, tap into what was and how how you've gotten through that, give yourself some beautiful radical compassion right now, for being human. Tap into that compassion at heart. And be present with it. Yeah. What about escapeism? Again, we're talking about like, like not trying to like flee from those feelings or flee from being a human. There's this weird dichotomy that I talk about because, you know, I run in a group of people. We do a sentence, right? And it's essentially like a Christian version of astral projection where we're traveling to heaven in the spirit. We close our eyes, we go with Dan and we travel to heaven literally. And there's a bunch of movements of, you know, I got songs about leaving my body and traveling the ethers and traveling the universe and stuff. And everyone wants to go to heaven. I feel like there's this weird dichotomy because like now that we're here on the earth and we're humans, we're having this experience, we're like, no, I want to go back home. Like I want to go back and I want to see things and I want to, you know, I don't want to be human anymore. I want to be, you know, access my divinity and heaven or whatever the cases that people do. Um, it's almost a form of escapism, because I feel like it's almost like the grass is greener on the other other side, even with something like that, because when you get to the other side, right, when, when, when this body is, is done away with, right. Um, and we're in heaven. We're in that place looking down. We're probably going to be sitting they're like wanting to come back like oh man I you know I'm saying I miss my friends I miss when I was a you know teenager and I used to do this and used to do that and wanting to come back and it's almost like this weird escapism to where like the grass is always greener on the other side what do you think about that when it comes to escapism and wanting to flee our humanity right and whether it's drugs or alcohol or spirituality as a form of escapism I I think there's healthy escapism, right? That's not hurting you. It's helping you as well, but still it's not about being present in the now moment, which is kind of key, right? It is. And I love what you're bringing up. So let's look at death. We, if we are looking to escape, well chances are it's the wounding we're looking to escape, you know, the shaming and the wounding. Yeah. Addiction is just simply that escape because you're escaping the wounding and you're trying to feel normal. When we're escaping anything that we're escaping the body from, but here's where we, here's we can take a look at something. I am certain many of you out there like myself have experienced the transition of someone you love deeply, death. What it's shown me is true, do you realize we can hug and we can touch and we can feel and we have senses we do not have on the other side. We have these eyes and these ears and we get to see and the appreciation for being in this body. When we want to escape it's because we're disconnected, we're disconnect. That disconnect is the part that gets us and we're disconnected because of the wounding. This is all belief systems. And when we let ourselves go into that, we are forgetting that that we are at one meant with the divine source, the divine creator, we are at one meant with God. But yet in the disconnect, we do not feel that. Some of that wounding can feel like we can't go on. We need to just not be, I don't wanna be here, and I've been there, I've been there in depression. I've been there with alcohol, I've been there with pop and pills, I've been there in my life, I've been there with food, I was 290 pounds, I've done plenty of escaping you guys. None of that shit works. It didn't work for me anyway. Maybe it's working for somebody else, but for me. Now, it wasn't working. What works was when I wanted to get real with myself and stop blaming the whole entire world for where I was out of my life. When I went to escape, what I experienced the grief, the grief of death, when somebody leaves and it's the most horrible human experience I've been through. Man, the gratitude and grief was when I went through my processing of realizing, oh my gosh, we only have right now. I don't have tomorrow. So today, when you're your last day, how do you want to spend it on this planet? You want to spend it escaping or you want to spend it living and feeling and enjoying and loving and leaving some heart prints on the planet. Who can you touch today? You see, whenever we want to escape, what I tell somebody is go and show up for someone else. Reconnect with somebody with some human, our need for connection, our need to be heard, our need to be seen and our wounding can really create one hell of a storm. And we all know that. Yeah. Again, still, just still right in the middle of the storm, five in the middle of the storm. Yeah. And yeah, there's a piece that's there. And like, you know, I'm saying emotions, depression, that stuff comes and go, man. It comes, comes and goes. And there's a difference between your feelings and being defined by them. Right? You have a bad day. You're not feeling well, that's not who you are. So there's a difference with like these of being of like identifying your having your identity in your emotions, which are changing like the weather versus the I am. The I am like I am gratitude. I am blessed. I am whole. I am sane. You know what I'm saying? Being in the I am not you're not you're becoming But you already are it is already within you everything that's already within your peace has already been given to you There's it's part of your inheritance that you can tap into at any time right when you're going through those Emotions that lie right again like Shoot you're like emotions could you're mostly could be tied to your money to your bills or not being able to provide for your family or whatever But that doesn't define who you are just because that's your circumstance in your situation at that moment being it, understand those ways to get out of it. But while you're going through it, don't let it overtake. You don't be blown around by every wind that's pushing you around in every belief system. And you're up today, you're down tomorrow, like there's a plumb line like I operate at this level of knowing who I am. And I'm not pushed around. Even though I may feel it, I may still have a bad day. I mess up, do stupid stuff all the time, but it doesn't define me. It's not who I am. and everything comes out of knowing who you are and who's you are, really, that you're loved by a creator, you're loved by a family and friends and your future and the possibilities are endless about what you want to create, the life that you create. When you look at it, when you really trace it back of being in gratitude and just being in that moment, you get, if you're mindful enough, You can trace it back and see decisions and friendships and things that happen. And so like, where did I go wrong? And so you know what? I had some responsibility in creating this. I'm here for a reason. I'm working at this job for this many years that I don't wanna be at for a reason. Because why, first of all, I went in and filled out an application to this random job that I've been here at 10 years and I don't know why, right? Whatever it is, it's like, so once you find out that by default, just living this life, feeling these emotions and whatever the case is and it's not what you expect it. Once you understand that, then you could take ownership and say, okay, let me try to be intentional with my actions, with my friendships, with my expectations, with my conversations and really work with the creator, again, as co-creator of this beautiful life that we've been given, And not escaping, but being present and creating a good life for yourself and for those around you. And you find out, Zig Ziglar, you know, said that if we help those people achieve their goals and their dreams and that people will link in with us and help us. I've seen it in my life and I've in these principles that are universal for for manifestation for walking in peace. But the thing, the biggest thing is a lot of people don't know how much of a role that they actually play in the creation process, you know? They think they're just, you know what I'm saying? The chips fall where they may. I talk about Plinko, right? And the price is right. I used to love that watching that. But the Plinko, when you dropped a little chip in and it just kind of, you know, it can land on a thousand, it can land on zero, you know, it can land on a million, whatever, like, you know? And so a lot of people just bought the fall. Oh, I landed on a hundred, that's my lot. It's one hundred. It's all I got versus like, no, we are co-creators and we, we know the person who created the game, like that it's rigged, do you know what I'm saying? And we share a part in that. So once you open up to that and how many tools, Salvador here says that the that there's shamanic tools, even we talk about it so much is gratitude is a huge tool. Plant medicines are huge tools. There's so much once we understand how we can use these tools that God has given us to work alongside him. The love that what I heard you say is usually, we say yes from the get is what I call that. So for responsibility. And I would have, everything that I am in 100% agreement in alignment. I can't even add to that because it was just so damn good. I mean, seriously. The I am presence within and remembering who you are and we're here to help each other, remember who we are, who we are. And I heard you say show up, show up for others as you want them to show up for you. Yeah. But I also want to talk about this plant medicine because let me tell you, in the last three days, I have talked, I'm like, totally, I want to go to Rythmea. Rythmea is in Costa Rica. Do you know Rythmea? Yes, yeah. Okay, dude, do you know they're doing eight, they're doing eight scholarships a month for the whole year? free. Yeah. Wow. Like you could write. So here, I'm telling them. Yes, I mean, seriously, but they do ayahuasca with um, that's used breathwork. And it's, it's, you know, the, but yesterday, I was talking to somebody else about plant medicine and about journey. Now, I've only tried mushrooms. And that was when I when I was 50, I'm 51, almost 52 now. So this was a while back, but I waited that long because I was literally petrified of it. Yeah. This is a whole other show, but I'm gonna tell you that I have spent the last like almost four years researching. I'm not a son. I haven't had the opportunity to try them, but I'm fascinated by the stories that keep coming forward. This is why I want to go to Rythmia. Well, close the fact, it's an all-inclusive spawn. I want massages and bucking it back. But like, I mean, this is some cool being stuff. This is talking about expansion. Now, when you talk about plant medicine, what do you, what's the biggest benefit you're getting from your experience with these journeys? So I haven't had a lot. So even though I talk about them a lot, it's not like it's something that I do every weekend, right? Because I respect it. I don't think we're supposed to at least, I mean, it could be abuse, just like anything, right? Any of these medicines can be abused. And so for me, again, I have a whole chapter in the book about manifestation linked to my psilocybin encounter, my hero dose, and even my two-gram dose that changed my life as well. So linking in with the plant teachers, man, It's gonna make you deal with the stuff you've been hiding, right? So there's a, there's, that you should be afraid, be very afraid, but be open. Cause we want to do the inner work. And that's the beautiful thing is like the people we're with, we want to get rid of our BS. Like we recognize, look, I have these character defects. I have these flaws. I'm stuck at this job. I don't know how to get out of it. I need some help. So it's like this again, come to Jesus moment. It's like, look, I'm laying it down. I need another opinion I need an expert opinion on some of the things that I've been hiding maybe there's some blockages in my life that I need to get past and the plant teachers will show you how to get past them. They're essentially angelic walkie talkies that were left here for us to communicate with God in the angels, right? That's a good way to look at it. That's what something Terrence McKenna said and I really believe that so my I can only go off of my encounters, right? We had one that was their very introspective. And for the person who isn't doing the work, it could be scary because you're not ready to look at your stuff. But I think the majority of people who are even listening to podcasts like this, we're doing the inner work. Like we want to get rid of this stuff. So plant medicines right up there in the conversation is like, look, I don't want to be a jerk anymore. I don't want to, I want to be mindful. I want to be present in the moment. And so those Those are some of the truths that these ancient, you know what I'm saying, medicines communicate to us. So, whether you're on a microdose, and I have microdose from time to time, even on the podcast and stuff like that, just taking small doses and just looking at the science behind it. The science behind what it can do for the brain and spark neurogenesis and not reconnect old neural pathways, but spark new ones, you know, where they died or maybe when you was, maybe you smoked a lot of pot and you smoked your brain cells up, it can regenerate and grow new brain cells and it gives you another perspective, which is a loving perspective. It's an eternal perspective of your life and of your situations and of your momentarily struggles that you think are, you know, I'm saying detrimental, there's so much that it will show you, but I do feel like there is a consensus on the similarities that it shows everyone. And some of these things that I'm talking about is something that's like universal, right? You got to get over yourself. So set and setting this key, right? You know, I've had people people come out with us and have beautiful encounters and then next week they do it out of party and they're listening to loud rock music and they're not doing the inner work and they just have a bad encounter. So setting is key and I think it's something that calls to you as well at least it did for me like it was because again I was scared to do it you know I didn't want because I had been, I was into like dark occultism and witchcraft and had made packs with demons and was demonically possessed and oppressed and stuff like that. So I, and out of that, like, I didn't want to ever go back to something like that where these entities or beings had control of me for periods of time. And I hear horror stories where people would mix a lot of different stuff and not honor it and they would have weird encounters. And I was like, you know what? Not me. I don't want to to do it. I rather do yoga or do breath work that can facilitate very similar encounters really. So, but it was something that continued to call me. I moved past the fear, did my research and just seen all the, you know, all the medical research that was being done. And, you know, I'm saying something that called to me and blew my mind and I'm doing what I'm doing today because of those two encounters. And so it's something that I honor. I think that, that I think it takes months, if you're going in to really unpack what the information is downloaded and communicated with you, I don't think that you do it one week and then we'll do it again next week or we'll do it once a month or whatever. Like for me, it was like a lifetime of self-worth and how do we, I'm gonna give you the tips and tricks on how to bring about this manifestation into your life and stuff. And I wrote about it all in the book, but it's something to be honored. And it's something that our ancestors were very big on. It's a rite of passage for many people. You know, there's so much that's downloaded to you instantly, like eternity within a few hours. And it's beautiful, but it needs to be respected and it needs to do the proper inner work and be ready to face your inner fears or release them. You know? Wow, I love that. And what I've digging about it, I wasn't, I microdosed when I tried it. But what my experience was was the extreme observation. Introspective. Introspective, I'm looking at life through the eyes of source. Yeah. I've seen everything so divine. And here's how it's carried forward in my life today. Today, I had the most, I've been noticing when I'm gonna crowd a people, what I now see are all of these awesome different creative creations, all of these incredible beings that are just all these human beings that are just all of these gorgeous, beautiful creations. And I remember that moment of being able to see through a different lens was absolutely the most, It was a huge, you're right about the teaching moments huge, but it doesn't just, it, it expands through time and it, and it continues to expand. And it wasn't like, and I haven't, I, the microdosing is as much as I ever did, because I'm really a big chicken. You know, our breath, where I've heard breathwork can get you to the same space, but I've never tried the deep breathwork where I didn't before. It's not the same. We would like to say this, but it's not like you can get, it's different. I mean, they're both beautiful, but they're not the same, you know? They're not plant medicines, you're not, you're not communing with the plant teachers, you're making me with your higher self, you're making me with God, you're the Holy Spirit, angels, entities, things like that through breathwork and these heightened states of consciousness through entering the trance state and facilitating trance state through breathwork. And really, you can, you can tap into some really awesome stuff, but it's not the same. because I tried to say that and but to be honest, they're not the same because that that was my thing is like You know what I can do with you guys are doing without the use of anything I could just breathe and you know Get get into these trance states and facilitate the same thing, but no, it's it's not the same What about okay, so have you heard about the Ibogaine? Yeah, okay So I want to just bring this up really quick because you guys were talking about plant medicine But I've had somebody share with me recently that I began actually was also Michael Kata, the Galactivators, was telling me about this too. I began is literally helping people break addiction from opiates and from opiates and heroin. They've got a lot of reports coming out about this now. it's not like the big pharma suboxin solution. Have you heard it much about the Ibogaine yet? Yeah, all of these medicines are kind of communicating the same type of things. They may have it like, I know the genetic makeup of the molecules and the structure of it, they all look similar, right? And so I think there's a similar thought that they communicate, and you can pretty much type in any of that stuff and find studies where they're doing that it's curing depression or curing opiate addictions and stuff like that, like people are even using psilocybin to overcome the fear of death and they're giving it to cancer patients. And as we need people are coming off of opiates and stuff from these experiences, you know, and then you can, the words are interchangeable, I feel like, like, Silla Sivan, you know, ayahuasca, DMT, I've a game, like, you know, there's so many different ones, but it's something about returning to the earth, returning to nature, and where everything's okay, returning to the mother, you know, communicating with your mother, and getting back out there that does so much for our bodies and so much, I mean, just simply, not even, just walking outside, putting your feet on the ground, barefoot on the ground, like what that does for depression and what that does for self-worth and for actually grounding yourself as well, right? We're so disconnected from the earth. We walk around with rubber soles on our shoes and we're not, we're supposed to be grounded. We're not even doing that. So anything that has to deal with nature and that was one of my biggest things with like tapping in the spirituality was I fell in love with nature again and how, you know I'm saying, the mother just embraced me and just like, man, in the star, star gazing, like anything that has to do with nature, you find, you know what I'm saying? Cause we're so steeped in technology and jobs and personas and we have to be, we have these roles that we have to be, okay, I have to be a dad, I have to be a husband, I have to be a friend, I have to be an enemy. You know what I'm saying? I'll have to all these roles, but just going back to nature, which is the ancient path and just deprogramming, grounding, and decompressing. And I mean, there's so many tobacco was a huge one with like using tobacco as a purifier, sage, I use some of the tobacco from the RAPA. I like to point out like doing a cleansing with this. Like all of it, there's so many different ways and but returning back to nature is the key. I use the sage spray. I have the sage spray, but I also have a pal- I like palacinto. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I've got some. Oh, I love that. You know, there's something about it. I'm really connected to that. I will I will agree 100% what I've been on because I'm on the computer and I are both on this computer a lot. Yeah. So I will go outside and I will literally take my shoes off and put them right into the grass with the dirt or something or touch a tree. I don't care, but getting reconnected with nature is vital. And, you know, back in the day when I had almost died from having hysterectomy. And I was in ICU for four weeks. And I came back out of that. One of the things that was most precious to me was God's beauty. It was, it was nature. The thing that I was most like grateful for was being able to walk and breathe in the air outside, to breathe the air outside. So I want to thank you for bringing that up. And you also brought up my favorite song, I Return by True Secret. Right? Listen to the song. It's going to back up everything he just shared about plant medicine, but also returning. I return if you heard what Derek just said, really go back and listen. It's about returning, returning to self, returning to one, to your at one minute, to getting back into your divine alignment with source, doing that through Mother Gaia, doing that through Mother Gaia, where are we talking about flat medicineist from? Mother Gaia. And he also said that it is God's walkie-talkie. And I love that. Leon Hendricks, I interviewed him and he told me that it is It's like God's wife, I. Yeah, we're all interconnected. And that's the weird thing. Even with technology and Facebook and checking in on one another and like it like mimics spirituality. It mimics the ethers and the astral realm. We're already connected. And now we think we're connected with Facebook. Facebook comes along to connect everybody. But we find out we're more disconnected than ever with the use of technology. Just because we know what you're doing, It's this weird social interaction that it gives us. And the thing is the, the person on the other side may not even know. Like you may not even contact them. Like someone can have a birthday party with their children and they invite you. And you don't go. But you click, you see the pictures and you click like and you look at everything. And it, it kind of fulfills something in you. You feel like you were there, but you really weren't. You feel like you were there. You've seen all the pictures, you've seen all the people who were there. And, you know, the social interaction that you missed for not going, but for some, we're set in this thing, we feel like we're connected, but we're not. You know, it like mimics the global brain and us really being connected walking in a room with someone to be able to feel their energy and know what they're thinking and feel their emotions and things like that. So like Facebook and all of the different social media, which we use it to our advantage And it is where we're going, but we have to make sure that we don't leave nature behind. And we take it with us, there's a balance there again, like talking about grounding. Like I have a grounding mat here at my computer that my feet are on and it's connected to the ground and electricity is grounded into the earth. So I'm, you know, feeling those benefits of grounding while I'm at the computer. But yeah, we got to return to the earth, man. That song, you mentioned that song, I returned that I did. The beautiful thing is that it's featuring Hope Medford for medicine for medicine for the people and she was on the song. And their music communicated that to me of returning to nature and all of their music videos there outside and there at waterfalls and swimming, just like beautiful stuff just connected with nature, and I was able to work with her on a song that communicated those same ideas and stuff, so it was really cool. That's literally, I think that that's my favorite song. Well, that one and Fly, and the I Am song, but Fly is another one, just fly away. Fly away. With love saying, oh yeah. Oh, I love fly away. It's just like, ha, but the song I return with Hope, with hope, I literally just like that one, there's something about it that makes, it says everything you need to hear in that moment and it just brings you back to us. For me, it just brings me back to the space of being at one. Your music though, Derek, that's one of the things I love about it. It brings messages through, so as you're listening to it, not only are you getting this incredible vibration because you're using such gorgeous sounds for that are good for our body. Yeah, for sure. As a matter of fact, you know, if I get the opportunity to check out Ayahuasca or whatever it is in life again, I think we need true seekers of music to be back and not hope during the experience quite. Let me see. I had an article that a friend wrote, here we go, So there's an article that my friend wrote, Drew, good friend of mine, but he called it a name of the article is Mystic Hip Hop on Magic Mushrooms, let me see where he's talking about what was happening, let me see if I can get to it in this article. But let's see, let's see, let's see, okay, so he's talking about taking five grams of I'm not sure I'm, she said before the experience I had created a playlist of music to guide me on the journey and Truths sake. I had happened to be on a few tracks. I select it at the time I was already in the process of opening close to our visuals when mystic mine began to play through the headphones Which is one of my songs The mood immediately became more intense as the music began to find its way to flow through me Instead of hearing it in my left and right ear through the headphones The back of my head seemed to open up and allow the music to tunnel through my brain in a circle and Then back through again. I had listened to this song before but this was different. That's a not that's a Interesting notion too. I said I had listened to this song before but this was different Even his voice had changed to more of an intense version of wisdom calling out to the warrior within myself through his music. I had revelations with them myself. I also found healing from the past and hope for the future. Listen into my music on syllasy, magic mushrooms. This interesting when he says that like it sounds like a different song. That's that's so crazy because you got to do this right? With my musical with any beautiful music, you definitely need a playlist. You need a playlist. For sure when you do it, um, we love this article. My God, I'm shared. I'm going to share it on my Facebook for those of you who haven't read this and it's just like buried in my website somewhere. Like I have, I'm bad at like my article just get lost and stuff. But, um, we were listening to a song about above and beyond, which is called, um, good for me. And there was like an hour version. And I'm listening and there's like so many layers that that it seems like are embedded in the song. There's almost like a whisper track in there, but when you're not in that realm or you're not in that state, you can't hear it. But while we're like in that trance state on the on the on the silla siren, I'm hearing these different tones and different voices that are singing the same song Communicating and I go back and listen to it To try to decipher like is there a whisper track there because the weird thing is I put whisper tracks in my music I may do the whole verse whispering and it's just a layer or there's ad libs layer and there's stuff going back and forth And it's a lot of that ambience going on so I put that in my music, but I couldn't hear it when I wasn't in the Trent state like that and And so for me that song good for me I don't listen to that song because it immediately brings me back to that encounter gratitude. I don't listen to it because it's holy. You know what I'm saying? Like it's a sacrament. I don't want to wear it out. When I need it, I'll put it on and it will immediately teleport me. Music is like a time machine can teleport you to any place in your life when you're going through something. You hear their songs I listen to and immediately I'm teleported in the back seat of my car, my mom's car when I was five years old. I'm sitting in the back seat listening to double vision. You know what I'm saying and like hearing those songs immediately take me back to places and so the song by above and beyond good for me. It immediately brings me back to that place and I just I can just tear up and just fill the energy and get a download when I need it so I don't like to wear it out but it's crazy man having your music with it with with with it too and I'm gonna post this on my page for you guys uh you guys want to read the four articles I'll do that now. Well you know it's so cool about music we are music we are nature is be okay so you guys listen the reason nature is sound that the vibration is there You're putting subliminal messages with me all the time. Yeah. Yeah, because I heard about the illuminati doing it. Like, because like studying this stuff, we hear about the illuminati music industry in the evil behind it. And they're doing subliminal. So I'm like, well, let me do the same thing, but for good. You know, and I studied all of these different subliminal messages and things to do it and putting up words and pictures that flash for a millisecond that you can't even see. like in my video, I mean so much stuff, backward masking, like chanting and then turning it down and just having prayers in it, all types of crazy stuff. And you can, yes, I said, you can't hear it, but you can feel it. Okay, that's intense stuff right there because it's true. You are, this is the beauty of it. So you guys listen. If you're listening to true seekers music, what do you understand? He's life experimenting you with some awesome subliminal messages, you're subconscious is picking up. So even what you're not hearing it through your own ears unless you're using mushrooms apparently, I'm dying to know this. So anyway, but I'm dying for that to experience that one. But you are still picking it up. So the music that you're listening to when you're taking it in and I know that this is true. Because Derek listen, when I'm, do you know, I share the music when I start so that I can share it out and things? But I'm doing it also because every time, If I start a lie and I play your music, I get straight brought into the space I need to be in every single time there is so it's working is what I'm proof it's working guys take it for me put your headphones on listen to some true seeker and buy his book for God's sake would you already? Chris procrastinating go ahead and do it. What are you guys thinking press that by now button by now and buy a cup. I need a cup. You know, I don't I don't even have my own cup Derek. I mean, I'm like sitting here. I'm loving your cup. I just like the coolest thing. The cup shoot. Who in the world drew that? So I don't even know. I hired somebody to draw it up. I don't even know if they're from this country, but they did a good job. Oh, my God, that's a cartoon you that is secure to see. I think we all need a cartoon An avatar an avatar. Oh, is that God you guys are just so into this tech Not all these new tech all these terms You know, it just took me like a year to figure out what the hell people were talking about when they would say avatar and I'm like What is I'm thinking video games, okay? Avatar video games and I can't I can't keep up with it. And now today, your influencers, you're not sponsors anymore, your influencers. Yeah, your young kids are just kicking as, oh, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, who's ass is, I'll tell you what? I don't think I'm a young kid anymore, but because I got a young kid. I have a six-year-old granddaughter and my sons are 31 and 27, you're a kid. But I'll tell you what, it's really the kid with it. We are all within our, our inner child and bringing out that because I heard you talk about music, having it bring you back into that space, how it can time create the timer. Hey, Derek, have you done this to it? Like a song will come on that would have struck a memory or cord or something and actually brought yourself into the present and let it recreate a new one. Oh, yeah. For sure. I mean, the music from the band corn like was like my depression music was you know, abuse music. I used to put that music on it just cry as a teenager and loath and self-loathing and but it brought a comfort to me. It allowed me to vent through their music and um so like a lot of that stuff we couldn't really listen to. I asked we doing the healing work and becoming Christians like you don't want to listen to that stuff. Now like uh you know I met the guitar so hung out with him and and like so the music is just so is different now and knowing who he is and so there's like new synapses in the brain that kind of connect and it's like I have a new understanding and a new appreciation for music and it doesn't have to evoke fear and for me it's nostalgia of like even seeing the innocent boy that was there or the hurt boy and now he's healed you know what I'm saying and I can revisit that and with it with a new Emson loving outlook or whatever and still appreciate the music and there's so much other music like that too. I remember there was this weird thing and we were going to a home meeting years ago and I was going through some oppression or something in any way that the guy who had the meeting stood up and he took authority over this thing that was kind of alien me some kind a spirit. He took authority over it and cast it out and I found freedom there and then like it changes the way you look like when you when you receive that piece of God in your life and your perception and we're in the car and I'm like I didn't want to listen to it would drive in home and I didn't want to listen to anything that wasn't glorifying God or beautiful. They were putting on Metallica and I'm just so like caught up in the spirit and I'm like he's singing about God. They're like, I don't think he is. I'm like, no, I think you're saying it's like, you don't say my perception is like, all is God, right? And like, you know, and that's so deep because our perceptions change all the time, you know, and we need to have a healthy perception and make sure that we're looking through this, again, this lens that you're talking about, Rose colored lens where we're looking at life through gratitude and how God would view it, which would be with love and compassion and versus judgment and hatred and bitterness and jealousy and all of those things which are so easily attainable right so to really find those blissful moments and tap into that and let that become our lens. I love that and absolutely gratitude lenses are definitely a better way to view it and I love finish your idea and your thought about the the music, because I know I just stole it from you. I'm sorry. I know, you're just, well, first off, because what I'm tripping, because look, you're, you nailed it. When, um, okay, did you were you? Did you just meet, uh, was it my imagination? Or were you just hanging out with, um, white zombie with Rob Zombie? Rob Zombie? Were you just chilling with Rob Zombie? No, no, no. That was, uh, Brian Welch from corn, who everybody says he looks like Rob zombie. So we did the Lord Instagram video. I'm Rob Zombie. Yeah, because I was like, I saw a white zombie. I saw a white zombie. I did actually a long time ago. I actually saw them live. But the music, what you were saying, you reconnect, you're reconnect. And hearing, hearing God's message through rock and roll, I'm all about that. Because if you all go back and listen to like Queens, right, silent acidity, and listen to that, you're and you listen to it now from where you're at, if you're in that perspective, you're gonna trip on the words to silent lucidity. If you go back and listen to some of Hendrix's music, I mean, you're gonna see, you see God, I call it Spirit DJ, okay? And the way that we allow that it comes in, our perspectives change so does the meaning of the music. So does the vibe that you're feeling into. And if the most important thing I heard you just talk about was where your connection to corn at one point to that band was in a really tough space in your life and how that you have changed your perspectives. And now you've brought it into the present to be an enjoyable remembering of gratitude because you were there, but you're not here now and you're still, and you're still chilling with what music is everything to me. I'm, and here it was my dude, Pantera was like, well, yeah, it was, I mean, I saw Pantera. I saw them open for Skid Row. I'm from New Orleans. So that's where they're from. So we definitely came up on Cowboys from hell. Um, when I was a kid, I was little. So I was, I was tripping going. I'm an 80s rocker chick. This is the early 90s. You've got Skid Row, which is Sebastian Bach opening for, I mean, um, Pantera opening for Skid Row, if you can believe this one. I'm used to a bunch of long years walking around and I see nothing but a bunch of skinheads, and I'm like What in the heck is happening? I'm completely no clue Dime back comes out. They kind of I'm just like Cowboy's from hell, and I went this is because it was before vulgar display of power I saw them on the cowboy's from no tour, and I'm like just sitting there going are you kidding me? But I will tell you that those some of those songs from like go go to play a power like hollow all it was always But my oh, yeah, what is it? So I'm I'm broken. That's a good one. Oh, yeah So like there's a really I think the are riff and cowboy from hell is so amazing the beginning riff I don't know if anybody knows what we're talking about here. Let us know in the chat what you know about this Bob-bop-bop-bop-bop-bop. I did it at for sure taking over this town Poned while while West style Yeah, I mean you see that's an instant vibration lift for me. I'm just like Yeah, I listen I listen to it all like I listen to of tones, beautiful tones. I listen to like hardcore, what some people would call like death metal, like tribal metal music. And then I listen to beautiful Christian radio music. You know what I'm saying? A acoustic singing praises to the Lord. Like I listen to all of it. Hey Derek, you know what I call that? What's that? Diversity. Diversity. Eclectic. I mean, eclectic. And you can hear that in my music too. So that's one of the music is so different because it's not just like, oh, he's just a rapper. Like you're gonna hear like influences from like the whisper stuff. Like that's totally like Colchamber and like metal stuff that they would corn stuff and like singing under his breath and doing little bit of stuff like this. In the music, in some of that would be in the background and you don't hear hip hop like that. So it's like taking all of these influences that I've had and putting it together and there you have it. something different something you know breath of fresh air versus like trying to copy a sound or whatever there's something a little bit of everything death tones and all of this kind of metal influence and and you know all the ambient influence as well in my music too so to create something new it's like a smorgasborg of all of this stuff well that's what's so sweet well Derek I got to tell you so what you just did is prove the concept last year I did a rock and roll winter solstice. I had I had 36 sound bowls going in one room and I had kissing John, he's saying John jamming some Zeppelin in the other room that I had another one with Leon Hendrix you know jamming, Melting Rock and Roll, Melting Hip Hop, Melting All Music. All music. I had it all going with spirituality. Boom. It is a thing. Here's the deal. I don't know. You guys in the audience tell me about this. Do you all feel like you can just be you now? Permission to be your freakin' self? It's, release the bondage of the bullshit even holding on to about what that you are, you can't do this, you can't do that. If it's feeling good in your spirit, you know what's up, you know what's up. If it's not, don't do it. Music was a big one for me because I was in this thing of going back and forth about am I a Christian or am I just spiritual or because they have boxes, right? There's a Christian box and then it's a spiritual box or whatever and I would go back and forth because like, am I gonna do ministry or are they gonna invite me to speak at churches? And the music was a big one because like, if I'm a Christian and a ministry, I can't listen to a tool, which was very spiritual for me. Medicine for the people, they're not Christian. They talk about all kinds of weird stuff. And so there's like, it's either all or nothing. So there's a disconnect there. That's not really there. There's a line that we kind of, these boxes that we made up, right? And so for me, the music was a big one because I'm like, man, this music makes me feel more and touch with God and touch with people. Then I'm connected with everyone, versus like, hey, they're bad people. Like, you're the holy person, you're the ones who've walked in with God, stay away from those people. Like, in the differences of what ministry or what I would look like as a believer or moving forward. And so music played a big role. And like, I would say, you know what? I'm not listening to any of that because I can't. And not be a Christian minister. you find out your pastor listens to the tool and make it to other stuff like that. Like it's a big one. So, you know, I had to judge about a fruit of it. Like what was the fruit of me listening to these bands? And it makes me more at peace and more in touch with nature even. Like the music is beckoning me to get out in nature. That's a good thing. Right? The music is beckoning me to watch my diet. You're my intake and consumption. And it's convicting me over that. Christian music didn't do that at all. so there's just different things and people are good at different stuff and so I had to like finally transcend all of that religious dogma that took years to get out of and people are in it because it's like this is God that's not God this is Christian that's not Christian and so I'll see people with like I've seen Facebook statuses that like you say you can't be a Christian and be into astrology. And we're like, one of that. Here we are. You can't be a Christian and listen to a tool. One of that. Here we are. We're here. We are here. You can't tell me you didn't invite me. You didn't give me a pass. You didn't like, I'm here whether you want me to be or not. And I'm going to be a thorn in your flesh, you know what I'm saying. And we are that for a lot of people. because it's our liberty that hopefully drives them to jealousy and want to examine their own self and say, man, why am I? And we do that for people. I mean, I get messages every day, the music, the book, you know, all this kind of stuff about how man, your music has led me to be able to explore and see God in all things. So your book, you know, I just posted a step, a message yesterday that I got it about the books. Man, I didn't even know that I needed this book. I got it, but I didn't know how much I needed it. You know, I'm able to transcend religion and dogma and I'll have a okay that I can see God and the beauty and all things and so like that's why we do it and so our liberty is not the cause anyone to stumble right because we can do stuff there's other things that people can't do because I have you know whether it's you know having a glass of wine or a margarita someone else does that because we do it and they may stumble and pick up a you know alcohol addiction again or whatever it just but at the end of the day is knowing yourself and knowing the fruit of it. What does this produce in my life? What does this music bring out of it? Does this music, because some people listen to that same music and they get angry, Chris Garner, my friend, he's in chat. He just wants to start mashing. He was a violent person. He talks about how he was a violent person in that mosh pit. He would just, they would hurt people, you know, and they would intentionally do it. So that music may, so there has to be a different type of relationship to listen to it. Because if you don't, it'll trigger you. Like I remember, you know, there was a Christian ministry downtown when I first got born again in 98 downtown, we were walking. It was a Christian ministry and they had a Christian death metal band in there. We walked in downtown Bar scene and we was down there watching the band and the the lead singer said, uh, we're going to do a Mosh pit on this next song and we're going to give away a free CD, he said the last person standing gets the CD and immediately this dude I was with a Christian guy born again loves the Lord he immediately went in ninja mode and just started fighting people like it was like this weird paranoia and just started fighting people knocking everybody down. I was like oh wow this is weird his like the music like brought that out of him something that was already in there and it uh it was weird as a hold on There's a power behind this and you have to be careful, the music that you listen to, at least the way you perceive it and what you let, you know, happen to you. So we had to get a body there and we was like, that was very strange. And we're just a couple of Christian brothers walking down downtown ministering to people. And we just walked into this, it was a Christian club too. So, and it do is like, like a spirit came upon him, like he was just like kicking people and trying to knock people down and he won the CD. But it was like, bro, was it really worth all that? Oh, my God. He got the CD. Yeah. Yeah. No, no, I got stuck in a wash pit once accidentally when I was a day on the green and, and you know, you would laugh right now if I even told you what bound that it wasn't a washing tube. Who was it? Well, they're like washing the rat music now. Like, that's a thing. They were washing it. No, it was white snake. Oh, yeah. Now, I'm sorry, but I don't know how you mosh pit twice night, but they did, but yeah, I got stuck in that that energy was scary actually, but then I used to go to K and a C nine, which out in California, that was like the metal station where you heard Pantera and you heard Sepultera and all of that, and yeah, much fits for something that if we went out, as girls would be up in the cages doing our thing, listening to metal and the guys are all just mashing it. I say it's far away from that, but you're right about that energy. It's like such a trip how they get into that. So yeah, but I also love that you just said, hey, listen, reconnect with it in a different way, different perspective because chances are it's still true if it's still triggering you. You also said we're here to rattle some pages and that's how that looks. You called it a thumbarm. I'm calling it yeah we rattle pages based upon the fact that we are just living in our authentic truth. But that is so that we can help to remind everybody that my gosh you really it's really okay to be you. It's really an explore who that is even deeper and further. Use nature, use music, use gratitude, use the joy within you, the love that you are, the connect with their experience. Because I'm going to tell you right now, that's your music's on point. It's just is. Thank you. Thank you. Yeah. It's hard to promote it again. Like you're asking me like, you know, how's everything going like, I have to only focus on one thing at a time. So as I'm focusing on the book and I'm focusing on making courses like other things take a back seat, promotional wise, right? And as far as creating them too, like I don't have a lot of time, I only have so many hours in a day and I have to be consistent with the podcast and what I'm doing here, being faithful with that and creating stuff. So other things, take a back seat. The beautiful thing is it's like I have an eclectic catalog now I have all these songs and albums and stuff and they kind of have a life of its own so they still like people promote them like you you know and other people who resonate with it they'll share it they're gonna turn people on and so I think word of word of mouth is the best promotion that you can get anyway and so other people helping turn other people on to it really helps but it's it's uh it's really weird man just the way music's going and uh I want to create more but it's like trying to balance everything I want to create more but there's a bigger part of me is like, look, I need to figure out new ways to get this music out, because I've already sitting on some beautiful stuff, even stuff I've created in 2012, that's out there that I'm still comfortable promoting and pushing these videos and these visuals and where I was at spiritually and communicating that and other people being able to kind of eat off of that, you know, and partake of that fruit and it stars up things within their spirit and they're intellect and downloads and stuff. Some like, how do I continue to push these things that are already out there? So when people share the work, when people let other people hear it on their podcast. And I have a lot of people who are like, they're like, hey, I want to use your music as podcast intros and stuff. And I think that's one of the reasons that I put it as my intro, because they're like, people are messaging me like, hey, what song is that? And it's only a snippet, but it's in the intro. And they're like, what song is that? I need to find that song and say, hey, it's my song. And, you know, this is the name of the name of it as inner reaches of outer space for any of you guys who didn't know. So people are listening and always want to know what that is. So, inner reaches of outer space. I have listened to pretty much all of your music. That one, but the one you start with is also. You guys, I hope you're catching this. You need to go support trueseeker.com. You need to get out there and do this. How do you do it? Derek, you just do exactly what you just did. Nobody can know anything unless we tell them. So that's the most important part. When you have this, everybody do share it. I mean, this is what we started with that. When we share and we're edifying someone's work this way, we're supporting them. Show up like you want to be supported in the work you're doing out there, then they connect Derek with the right people who he needs to get an interviews with. like, I'm going to be on the radio. And it needs to be on the radio then you need to connect them. You all hear me? So if you guys out there have connections for Derek that you can connect him right now with people who can interview him, who can get his music out and all that, do that. Just show up. No agenda, you don't want anything, just do it because you're badass and you're cool like that, okay? I really believe that too. Like, when we promote again that quote from Zig Ziglar, like if we partner with people and we help people pursue their dreams and help them make it a reality and whatever it may be, just helping them. I do think that when the time comes around that we needed in our life, when we need a helper, when we need a financial support, like it's gonna show up. Like the universe, God, however, verbiage you prefer. make sure that it comes because you reap what you sow. You didn't, when you needed a friend, you know, you know, it's going to show up because you were a friend to the person who needed a friend. And when you fall upon those troubling times and those trying times, one will be provided for you. You know what I'm saying? Because you reap what you sow and I really believe that. And so I look for ways to sow. And I don't give, let scripture says don't give with your right hand with your left hand knowing what you're doing. I don't give to get, give out of the abundance of your heart because you truly care about helping people. But the more you give, the more you will receive is going to keep coming back. The Bible says that God gives seed to the sower. If you're continually sowing, He's going to continue like the fruit that comes up, what does it drop? and investable, they drop seeds. And you can throw it, if you take that and you throw it down, eat a watermelon and throw it out. What's gonna happen? You're gonna get 40 more watermelons popping up, growing crazy. You know what I'm saying? So God gives seed to the show or so. The more you're given and the more that you're helping people give and it will be given to you. Press down, shaking together and running over. But if you're just hanging onto what you got, cause you're scared that you're gonna lose it you're holding on to it because you might not get it back and I don't want to bless these people because I need a blessing in my life and it's like, look, let me go out of my way. It's like you won't be able to hold back the blessings of God from your life because you're a good steward. Well, what he's giving you for those who have been given a stuff and they haven't used it, it's going to be taken away from them because it's going to be given to somebody who who was being a good steward with God's resources. And so I really believe that and I've seen it in my own life and breakthrough and it's with money definitely, but it's with friendship, it's with all of this stuff. Whatever you sow is going to come back, whether you're being a friend to someone, where you're given wisdom and knowledge and advice or it's not always done in money. Most of us starting out don't have a lot of money to give. So some people it's it's time time is valuable, right? Time is a In exchange for money as well for a lot of people so investing your time and and helping people with your resources Because you're good at other things that you have other things to offer. It's done in many different ways But I believe it with all my heart and I'm seeing a lot of harvest from that and I'm gonna continue if I just keep that harvest and Don't you know re plant this the field it I'm not gonna have a harvest next year But you know what I'm saying? You have to cultivate the land and you have to be a good faith will stew with what God has given you because, you know, to those who have been given to, they're going to be given more because they know how to use it and they've been trusted with beautiful things. I believe it. So really, your haters don't have a say so in your blessing. You have a say so in the blessing. And if we can be in gratitude over what we do have in our life and we can greatfully share. This is the month of Thanksgiving. Let's not get into the holiday. Let's get into the energy. And so remember that. I love that what you're saying, because if that days is that if I do something with an attachment to the outcome of the thing that I'm doing, or if I have an intention that's not an integrity, I'm not plantancy. I'm just that's to me I show to show up authentically means to have no agenda to have no outcome and not expect the other person to do anything because what you just said is so vital it's going to show up in your life it's going to show up it it may not be from the person that you're giving to and if you can't give money give give your friendship get your heart you've got your heart give a share give a like like it's that easy it was sure there's people there's people who are scroll past your content and get mad when they see you posting stuff. They're not gonna share it. You know what I'm saying? But don't let that be you. Click share. Let it because when you got something that's gonna come out or you gotta you never know when you have something you need to share when you need to retweet. You look I've been sharing all your stuff. Like even you have not for you ask not. Sometimes you need to ask for it. Like you told me you're like look anything you need. Let me know. You need you have an event. You got something you need to book. If I don't tell you I mean do you guys we have so much stuff going on so I may need to come to you and say hey can you do a podcast with me I have this book coming out and I reached a whole bunch of new people because it had been several months since we did anything together and and literally like a lot of people in your audience came to me and even bought the book you know what I'm saying and if I wouldn't ask you and then you wouldn't have been open if like well he's gonna he's gonna sell a book and I'm trying to sell them this package or I'm trying to sell them that it's like, come on man, like getting past that because there's a lot of people, I dressed out a bunch because I come from the church realm that is like, they're so protective over their flock, you know, and you know, you believe that you stay away from us, right? This is my little segregated group, you know? So I like to tear down those walls and it's crazy. It's crazy when we do that and step in unity and move out of the way with a fear and all that kind of stuff. You know, straight up, there's 7.6 billion people in the world. Hello. You worried about those three, you worried about those three sales in the seven. You always get into bands of people. You worried about three sales. Oh my God. Wait a minute. Oh, no. I mean, really, I mean, seriously, but that's why we're doing this in the in community and connection and co-creating. And I love the word, conversion is celebrating other people's joys. You guys get your but it's into conversion, not comparison. Yeah. And yeah, if you've got people that are sliding by and they're not exactly 100% behind you, that's cool. Let them, that's all right, that's all right. But you know, the biggest thing that you just said here is you gotta step forward, you gotta ask, and you gotta be present. Cause we do, we are all getting busy. And so remember, it's not that, let's say that you're like feeling like some sort of way cause you think that somebody was supposed to show up for you, that didn't show up for you, did you ask them? I know, right? I had a guy at the time, he had a decent platform. It was Danny Wilton and he had a big thing about the Orion Nebula and Orion Stargate. And he was really big on YouTube in early days, but we had this little thing in like every few weeks or so. We'd say, hey, bro, you ready for some cross promo? Yeah, and it was like a mutual thing. Okay, what you want me to share? And it was when we had like bigger reach. We know if we shared something that everyone would see it. And now it's like, you know, you can never tell anymore with external links on Facebook. But we would share each other stuff and he would turn his audience on to what I had going on. My new song, my new music video and I would turn somebody on to his teaching. And it was mutual. Like, hey, let's, let's do it. And like, I would try to do that with other people and they're just like, no, I'm okay. I'm okay. I don't want to promote. You're like, do you have a bigger following and you just don't want, I'll take any, any listeners I can get. You know, I'm saying like if I do a podcast with somebody Who doesn't have a big show and I get one listener out of it who really resonates with with my work and my music and their it's and they're Doing the work and they're putting it. It's worth it. It's worth it. So like networking and coming together It's different if I'm always doing it and not doing it for others, right? So if I'm always like an opportunist like always looking for ways to get in and looking for ways to promote I am definitely this is what we do, but my platform, my audience, we have a community. We have people who like stepping out and we're encouraging them to do energy work and take on private sessions and like we have a community of people who are like hey, try it out on them. Do your first five sessions with them and you're looking for people, you know, and like seeing people step out in their calling and it's a community man and just being there with people and doing life, man, and what we have here and taking advantage of the internet. You know what I'm saying to be able to do this stuff, but I don't want to do it by myself. That's been a, it's been one of my biggest downfalls and like trying to get ahead, especially when I, it was brought out to me when I was doing Christian music was the fact that like, I was the best in the, you know, in, in, in my state or whatever. I was really ahead of my time when I did gospel music and, but I would always open up my platform for other people. And so people would have me out to perform and pay me and would be hundreds of, you know, kids in the youth group and students and stuff to listen into the music. But I would always bring all of my friends. I call on my hey, we got a show. So I'm not coming about myself. Like, I got, you know, seven, eight people who are coming with me there on stage. I'm letting them do some of their songs. You guys haven't heard of this guy. He's going to do a song. And then he'll get booked for another church or whatever. This kind kind of how it was. But people were like, man, these people are bringing you down. These people are like, they're not as good as you. They, they really taint what you have and stuff. And I understood what they were saying, right? Because they want me, there are something different. Maybe they want as good. Maybe they just brought something different to the table. Maybe there were performers more than ministers or something. And there was a little bit of all of that. But there's something in me. And the scripture says that when we glory, We have these accolades and we have these victories. When we have friends with this, we can celebrate together. Trust me, it was so much more fun going, doing shows with seven other friends. Again, all going on this retreat. I can go to this retreat by myself. But I'm like, hey, how come with me? I want to celebrate with people. And so the Bible says like, when we celebrate these victories, when we have friends with us, it makes it that much more fun. And so I don't want to be the only one. I don't want to be the only one that's doing it well or doing it, I'm not hiding like what's working. You know, again, when we have guests and people on the show, it's like I'm not trying to hide what's even working for them. Look, share your secrets. I'm sharing mine. There's nothing that I'm holding back. I'm being super open. You can't use nothing against me. It's all out there, you know? But if you do the work, this stuff works for everybody, you know? Absolutely. Sharing is caring. sharing is caring and first of all, they're wild. That's what this is all about. That network, like I have my show have a grown one, but I have, I've got five different, six different hosts. We've got, we got a new one coming on too. They all had different shows. We are all working in community together in collaboration, co-creating, co-creating together. You know, I was listening to this thing from Nikki Six and he was talking about the difference between Motley Crew and Six AM. And because 6 AM has this badass song called Life is Beautiful. Oh my God, I love that song. Oh, God. Man, right? So I'm listening to him and he said the difference is is that we put everything into the pot in 6 AM and let it co-create, co-create, because we've all put it all in together. But I think the biggest message is here, you guys, is that we support one another. Oh, my God. It's a great song. I'm probably going to get taken down from playing all these songs. I don't usually do that. I know, right? And it starts out with sometimes it takes a trail of blood to find your way back home. Life is beautiful. Nicky Six, but the point about the interview I was watching is that he was saying all everybody puts their creative process into the big pot. Everybody combines their efforts to get the beautiful co-creation of what comes through. Could you imagine if Zeppelin were like, all hung up? And I want, I want started to have, no, I want to elevate it to heaven. I'm not going to change my mind. It was, the song wouldn't be the same as that somebody was stuck to that. And if we're not supporting one another in our journey, then why are we doing it being alone and doing this was not, that's not fine. Yeah. Yeah, and I see a lot of people. I see a lot of people out there. You know how they operate there and there's people who and they're not they don't play well with others. They never have. They've got their little thing and they're really protective of over it and you know, yeah. But that's just our way by with and that's all right. It's all good. It's all it's all just what it is. But, you know, I want to thank you because I was like that was good. I like that one. Yeah. He did it in this finest round. I remember like in like elementary school like and just reminded of this, like we had these things where maybe we were just learning about soup. They were like talking about making a soup for lunch when I was in elementary and they were like telling us to go home and bring something to put in the pot. And whatever you want and they would bring it, and obviously they want to make sure it was gonna be good, but one kid would bring carrots and other kids bringing a can of tomatoes and, you know, rice, somebody brought rice or something. And we, everybody opened their can and poured it in and mixed it up. And it was this beautiful concoction. It was this beautiful soup that we all got to partake of and eat. And it was better than just eating just a can of tomato sauce by itself or something, right? It would be not really that good. But when everybody's pieces come together, it creates this beautiful concoction. hence the body of Christ, all of us representing a different aspect of the God had in Christ and God is glorified in our differences. Not that we're all the same and we're lemings in, hey, we all speak the same thing. And that's how churches are. Like you deviate on any of those things, you're out. See ya. Bophelisa. Bophelisa. Right, right, done. I had that shit happen when I was honestly, I went through that Derek when I was 18 and it was a bad experience to be shunned like that. Yeah. No, it is. It is. No, but that's I know. I totally feel what you're saying on this one, but I love the whole you guys get that beautiful idea behind co-creating some soup. Let's make some. We're making some spiritual soup here. Spirituality got let's have a rock and roll with some Seriously, yummy soup. I mean, did you guys really do that in school? Yeah, y'all didn't. No, that's like the coolest day ever, but I didn't do that. It's gonna make, I didn't make like awesome soup, but everybody puts in their yummy ingredients. Yeah, it was awesome. And that was it. That is like the coolest. Everybody just bringing their own style, their own uniqueness. And again, we, it's like in our, in our weaknesses, in our differences and, Cause there's things that we suck at, right? We don't do good. And, you know, we need, so we need each other. And so for us to think that we got it all figured out or we got this, we have a well-oiled machine and we can do it by ourselves. We're sadly mistaken. The further along I go, the more I mean, I'm like, I need help. And again, I've asked for help. Like I need help for a lot of different things. I need help making snippets of my podcast episodes. Like I can do it. I just need help. I need somebody to help me, who listens to the podcast. I need help getting guests. I need help promoting music. Like, you know, we need help with this stuff and to think that we have it all, you know, figured out or we got it all worked out. I don't, the further I go and I can do it all, but again, the more I do, something gets kind of left on the back burner. And so for me to continue to create and do stuff, it's like, something ain't getting attention today. You know? I love that you just brought this up because I actually had this conversation yesterday. Okay, so in order for us to show up and for me to do, I rock your spark sessions with people and to do what I do. If I'm over working on spirituality gun while schedule or if I'm over creating this process or whatever, something's gonna get not done today, right? So it's a huge what? You need a project manager, you all listen. spiritual to come while we all need the same stuff. You need a project publicist. You need a publicist and agent. I've talked to some of these publicists and I work with them to get gas. So I do work with publicists, but I need a, but they charge a lot of money. And I don't play they charge like a lot of money. It's like, oh my God, I was like, I'm in the wrong field. I need to be a publicist. Like they're charging a lot of money to get people interviews and to get people's work out there and stuff, so. Really? Yeah. And when as many people as we know, Something that we do, I know, right? We could totally do it. I can get a message. We're doing it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it. I'm going to set it up. I'm going to be a publicist. Okay. Okay. But then something else. Okay. Because look, I mean, Greg Freeman, I was just on his show yesterday. He's called Inner Journey. Or no, I was on it Tuesday. I was on it on Sunday evening did he's gets Greg Brayden Michael not Michael back with He's had he's had Bruce Lipton. Yeah, all these domic over ease He's had all these big cool people and he had me on he's like us Okay, but we were having this conversation yesterday about the public system about this and about that and it's like What what really it is? It's like we are all each other's publicist apparently because we're all interconnected? How in the world that we take that in and look at it in a different light of monetization? I don't know. I haven't really figured it out. Well, because because we're we're getting pennies when they're getting large of sums of money. They charge a lot of money. It's so weird. We need to talk about it because I didn't know nothing about this. Like I found out these publicists who were sending me guest and this is content for me. I got another show. Like hey, let's come on. Well, I'd love to talk to you about your near-death experience. But I didn't know that that person paid a publicist $300 to book them on a podcast. And I said, hey, we got you on the true secret podcast lined up 10 a.m. Tuesday morning, 300 bucks. I didn't get none of that money. You know, I got content. We have Patreon and some of these other little things. But it's like, hold on, you paid that person $300 to talk to me. You could have came to me and it would have been probably free, right? I don't, I've been experimenting with, you know, add packages and promoting and things like that. But not $300. So I'm like, hold on, these people are, these publicists are like doing me a favor because I'm like, oh, I get a free guest. And some of the names are big. Like these are people who have been on Dr. Phil. These are actresses, like people who are best-selling books. So they're bigger names. But sometimes they don't, usually that only works if they share it with their email list. And And sometimes they don't. They just like, hey, you got the interview, whatever. And, but yeah, these people are like making a lot of money by getting them connections. And I'm like, hold on. I know, you know, six or seven interviews I can get you. I won't even charge you $300. Give me $50, you know what I'm saying. All right, we're thinking, we're thinking Derek. No, I will say this though. it takes money to do what we're doing. And the weird, I think the weird disconnect for many of us, for me, definitely for me, is I would, I would, and I do do this stuff for free. Like, I'm still blown away that I get paid for my music. Like, people buy my music, because I create for free. Like, I love it. And if there was no money involved, then I would do it. They said, the law of the universe to really step into your bliss is to do what it's to do for a living what you would do if money wasn't an object. Like, what would you do? What would you create? Well, say, I would be a rapper. I would be a full-time rapper. I would be an evangelist. I would be a street preacher. Like, what, I don't know, it's different. Everybody has their thing that they would love to do, but something is keeping them from it and finding ways for us to do that. Self-worth is a big one that we've all dealt with. And again, what's said, you know, that's nothing for those people. You know, a lot of us are in situations where we may not have a lot of money and we think that everybody around us doesn't have money either. So when there's a service or a package or something that you're wanting to charge for, because it's worth a lot of money, it's probably worth a lot more than you're charging, but you're scared to even put a price tag on it because to you, there's a disconnect because you grew up in a family that was a low-income family and you think $200 is a lot of money. You think $500 is a lot of money. You know, so there's a disconnect that many of us have and I definitely have it, right? Cause I'll do a lot of this stuff for free and like really people are taking advantage of me when you really want to talk about it, send it like not giving me a cut of that money and they're making money. I don't even know it like they didn't even tell me like I had to like, you know, find out other means and stuff. So to really be smart, there's a lot of money in this for people and I think you should I think the Bible says that your gift will make room for you and that God has given us intellect and ingenuity to be able to make a living doing what we love. And I think when we do that and we step in that, even if it's out of faith, it's like, I don't know how this is gonna happen, but I'm stepping into it. I think when we do that, I feel like it's an honor back to the creator that, look, I'm doing what I was put here to do, like I'm in that flow and then everything's kind flowing with me, not against me, but I'm in the flow with God and with the Creator and with the angels and with synchronicity and with people and with doors that are open and now I don't have to force a door open anymore or kick a door down or try to wedge something like it's just opening like God's opening these doors and where you're supposed to be and if you're not supposed to be there it's going to fall through. There's still trial and error. There's a bunch of stuff, but being in the flow is the place where we all need to be and so being mindful plant medicine returning to the the earth, all of this stuff kind of comes in to play with being in that flow or staying in the flow. Have you ever been in the flow then you get out of it and you're like, Oh, how do I get back? Oh my God, this isn't fun. And then you go a couple months or weeks or years out of the flow and then you finally get back in. There's the interviews, you can go back and listen to some of the early interviews and I'm like, asking people, how do I get back in, like, how do you get back in it? You know what I'm saying? been there when I'm out of it and I've been in it now for a while. I love it. And I'm protective over it, you know. Yeah. Yeah. And I've been there too. And but you're going to hear a point, dude, with what you're talking about right now. Our worthiness and our disurviness of and what we're doing when we show up, I got to tell you my mom asked me a long, long time ago when I was very young, probably about in my twenties. If you could do anything for free, what would it be? That is, and that is your, if you're anything. I am right where you're at. I'm doing exactly what I would be doing if, and most of the time, when I'm showing up, it's not because I'm being paid. I have, I am doing a 21-day gratitude off me experiment. And no, I'm not charging what I will be charging, but it's an experiment. Sometimes I'll do a proof of concept to see how it's working for people and make sure that we're all vibe it. But yeah, my, my healing sessions rock your spark. That's those are the things I want to be doing. And a lot of times I'm called to just do them. Yeah, called to just do them. It's not like, but even in the respect of people tapping into the people that we're connected to and the networks that we're connected to. Here in Palmer, who's a co-founder of Spirit Spirit Spirit Spolik on Miles, she and I talked about this a lot because she's connected like, do you realize that between you and I and all of these others were connected to over a million people, Derek. Yeah, we have a we have a huge influence and it's a it's a big responsibility to not corrupted or change it too much because of money or whatever, but money money comes in comes into play, you know, and commercials and we have things to sell and then we have retreats and you know t-shirts and we got these cute little true sika mugs and stuff like that. And I love all that. Here's the deal. You go, y'all love what Derek's doing. Y'all love what he's throwing down. Just send him some money. Just cause. How about that? You got it. Send it to him. Same thing with me. You love what I'm throwing down. Spirituality got mild. Just send it. The PayPal links are always easy to find. They're very, they're in the front. Help us. We're leaving it. Help us. Yeah. We're giving it already. It's not like not already giving it because I can guarantee you I'll be back online later on tonight. This is just how it is because I love this work. I love showing up for people. I love doing private sessions with people and you know what I get? Hey Derek, did I tell you that I did a session, a healing session called Rockers Spark with this one kid. He was so awesome. You know, he comes back and he goes, my God, that was like a team teacher. Wow. No, it's cool. It's cool. But that's his, I love, I will do, I said the sacred just to God. And I'm going to trust, and we're going to keep going, going forward in faith with guys for real. If you love what tree seekers do and if you love a Derek's doing, and he's just throwing it down, this is the month of Thanksgiving. Show your thanks. Just promote him, just promote him and send him money just because you love him. Okay, he's got great stuff. You can buy too. But that's not always necessary. How about just the support because of the fact that we say the sacred yes, we show up. And that's important. So, you know, think about it as you're going about your day. If you want to support somebody and you're like, Hey, you know what, I love what you do so much. Here's a thousand bucks because you're just a badass. There's people out there who you could do that. Do it. Yeah. Yeah. And there's people who do. And I'm thankful for those people, you know, I'm not read. And I end the same the same for you, you know, make sure you guys are resonating with her working and just kind of go into a little bit more detail what you have right now where people can give and what is it a retreat? What is it actually there are not a retreat, but it's some kind of, are they going to be just working with you? What do you have that you're working on right now? Actually, I'm on day 12 of a 21 day gratitude life experiment and what it's going to be a book too, right? I don't know if it could be a book, but I'll tell you what it is the coolest thing Every morning. I'm sitting in these awesome gratitude practices, and I'm being led by spirit. So that's a book It's a book a 21 day book It's a 21 day experiment and what we're doing is we're putting all this cool stuff like we are experimenting with different practices. I've had a class on the fourth and we went over on the class on the fourth. We went into this exercise and we were co-creating our desired life together, writing down everything that we want our life to be everything that we want. We went into a mass co-creation together. After we did that mask co-creation and I go bippity, boppity, boo, I get contacted by Greg Friedman and we start chatting and then I'm in Laguna Beach and I'm on his show. That was rad. It happens because we're co-creating together. This life experiment is about seeing what we can do together and co-creation. And then last night we had a class and we went over tapping into your intuition, tapping into your own, your own spark. And also using compassionate communication skill setting, because that's the other part of this. Scott Katamas will love Coach Academy as my mentor. And when it comes to the compassionate communication side. So that's going to, that's other things. So I'm pretty much giving them a smorgashed board of me and they get me three times live. And every single day though, they've got new practices to see if that's going to help them make their shift that they're looking for. So far so good, they're rocking it like nobody's business. And it's still not too late to get in. We've got one more class. You're gonna have the last 11 days of homework to catch up on. But if you really wanna make a shift in your life, I highly encourage you. And you can book a healing session with me which is $88 for my spirituality got mild viewers. Your viewers the same thing, $88, but why not just buy the whole package for $144 And that way, the healing session is you doing the work, but I'm just guiding you through this awesome experience, which do you remember Terry, do you know Terry Angel or Terry Miller? Remember her? I think, oh yeah, yeah, yeah. I just don't remember. Is that, was that, was she with you like on? A long time ago. Yeah, yeah, because I think I was y'all's first guest. Oh my God, you were. That's right. Oh, my God. She was a couple years ago. Yeah. Dude, I didn't even, oh my God, you were the first guest. How about that? I, for my, I have not remembered you guys like that one. But the, anyway, this healing modality is called Time Hills and Terry trained me in there in that healing modality. And then I threw out the last few years. It's kind kind of with Reiki combined in there and then some quantum work and stuff like that. It's became a whole lot of fun. What I love about you is reconnecting people to their heart. That's my favorite part of it, but yeah, dude, you were the first guest, that's right. I can't even, of course you were. I'm sorry, you guys. I found Derek and went, ah, ever since it never stopped, I was like true seeker. I was hooked, mine and stinker, you know. That's how it is when you find somebody who's badass. You just love everything about them. So, but yeah, anybody wants to work with me. You can hit me up on spirituality.com while. If you want to support the work on SGW, please do. We have a lot of hosts on there. A lot of things coming forward. And if anybody's got project manager skills or all of these skills that we've been talking about, well, step forward because we all need it. And we're just like, hello. And, you know, honestly, trading out what your services are for the mass of interaction with being able to work with everyone is another thing you can do. So if you're wanting to up level and you want to get into being a coach or you want to get more training or you want to do whatever, I mean, I'm a trainer now for the healing modality that I can, in all that means is I teach you how to use your energy and how to work with people and guide them through gently so they can reconnect to themselves. Which is the coolest thing, but yeah, rockish spark sessions is what I call it cuz they're my Literally, it's like one of my it's so much fun. It's stupid Yeah, like it's like I mean, that's probably why it makes it harder to charge for dare because it's I know What that shit's fine. Yeah, I know right. I love it Like I get more out of it probably than the client when I do my sessions, you know It's like cuz I just it's like an excuse just to be in the energy and kind of get in the flow and tap in to that experience and it's so beautiful. We find the healing and stuff as well. We probably get as much healing as the person. Oh my god, you and I should, you and I need to do switchy sessions. I can't do you do me like totally. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. We'll have to see if we can make something happen. But yeah, Leah is commenting. She says, yes, it's definitely a book. But yeah, you could do a 21 day book an idea. I mean, just kind of what you're saying and put in the book. It's just something physical that they can have and, you know, to kind of go through like a workbook. It doesn't have to be a thick book. It could just be, you know, 21 pages even. You know what I'm saying? Just little, hey, this is what I'm doing. If you buy this package, you get the book as well and you get the, you know, it would definitely something that you could bring to the table. And because there's a lot of 21-day books, I mean, shoot. My friend here, Corinne, I just interviewed her. She has the angel experiment just came out with a 21 day magical adventure to heal your life. And she was just interviewed on coast to coast to AM because of her angel book, you know, and it's a 21 day book. And you could definitely do something like that. Just put everything down in book format and have some little pictures and diagrams and stuff. And she was just, this is a key. All it says is a key. It got her on coast to coast AM in front of eight million listeners per night. It's not working. Yeah. No. For, you know, putting out a book. So you definitely got some of the, you might have a whole series of these in you and you can rank to the table. I love you. Thank you. And I love, you know what, Leah, thank you. You rock, man. I'm doing this experiment because I want people to try out different things. And so I'm really create like we I haven't do a different stuff you know what I mean dude a book I all right well I'll tell you I'm gonna I'm gonna take that as here's your sign here's your sign thank you Leah for the confirmation of here's your sign the gratitude alchemy life experiment 21-day book mm-hmm that's pretty rad dude thank you Nina says that she takes your class It's awesome capital awesome capital also mean is rocking it. That's why and most that I don't I've got I'll tell you something seriously, Derek. I Cannot my heart uh People are making some huge transitions like they're finding they're remembering who they are They're coming back to their self. They are seeing their life like when we started this maybe they weren't so thrilled with the whole lot of things. Like right now, they're having joy. It's a huge big deal. Like when I get this feedback, it's like these huge gratitude moments for me because I'm like, yes, you guys. Yes. Because if I can be anything to any human being out there, here's what I wanted to be his hope. I want it to be hope that you guys look. I get trauma and I get where you've been in your life and I'm hoping that what you can see in me is the down the flip side, baby you can rock your life you don't it doesn't have to suck you can choose for it not to suck yeah and you have to choose for yourself you have to say that sacred yes yourself like nobody's gonna do it for you they don't care about your dreams they don't care about manifestation like they care about themselves and you know you'll find those people who come along we have a similar vision but it's that's your vision right and so you have to do the to work yourself, man, and whether it's purchasing a session or a course or finding a leader or a guru to help you, like find somebody who's already doing it, like who are you hanging around? You're hanging around people who aren't doing it. Hang around people who are doing it. You know, it's like, what are you doing your off time? And you know, you're hanging around a bunch of people who hang out at Walmart, like the way work at Walmart. That's fine. But you know, find that other person who's doing it, man, take notes, like, even if you have to pay them, like, look, man, look, how much, let me know, the beautiful thing with this podcast is like, it's kind of freely out there, but I am working on some courses myself to kind of, or sessions to where like, I'm probably going to do a, like a eight week course where similar to what you're doing is like, look, I've been giving you the stuff, but let me get in here with you and let me help you and let's design it. Let's, let's put a face to this thing, right? you're trying to build to be able to try to make income doing what you love. And most of the people are doing it. Most of them it's going to be similar to what we're doing whether it's a podcast or healing sessions or whatever the case is. And so there's things that we've learned on the back end. I know, you know, what's going on on this back end on how to produce a podcast and be consistent and all that kind of stuff. So I'm wanting to step out with that too. But for the most part, we talk about this stuff. We talk about it openly and anybody can just listen and get the keys and stuff and do it themselves, but some people need it done for them. Some people don't know how to upload a podcast. Some people don't know what service to pick to upload. They don't know how to build a website. Even if I showed you how, it's just not your thing, so you need to hire someone to do it. This is where we come in, all of these different services and stuff on the back end that that we have to help people walk in their destiny. It takes all that. It takes an email campaign. It takes a logo. It takes a website. You got to have somewhere to point them to. Well, I just point them to my YouTube. Well, you put out one controversial video and that YouTube channel might be gone. You know, you pissed the algorithms off that channel's gone anyway. You know, so you got to own your content and find other ways to do it. and there's a bunch of pitfalls and stuff. And so working in that and sharing what I wish I had, like when I first started out wish I had somebody that said, hey, man, don't do that, do this, do this, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you know, you have a 80 idea, I, I don't have, okay, I am a graphic designer. I use illustrator Photoshop and doing that for years. But I don't have the, the kind of knowledge. I don't build websites. I don't do a lot of these things that you're doing. I don't even know how to, you connect the dots so intricately you put on your the way you stream. I don't even do that. I'm like, you're kind of information you have is invaluable for somebody who's stepping out to get their message out right now. And what the y'all need to do is just pay him $3,000 and have him do that shit for you. Yeah, that's an option too. Well, I'm serious at about three grand and be about what it's worth. I'm just gonna put a number out there I'm telling you guys I happen to notice because my son charges 10,000 for websites. No, I don't have my website done He did he's I'm That's just I have that Because that is what he does for a living, but I mean honestly Derek like that's a huge Well, you've got something so that's so huge that That Yeah, I would love to see you put that out there, man. Yeah, I'm getting I'm getting it ready I'm getting the It's so much on the back. It's overwhelming. If your dream doesn't scare you, you need a bigger dream. All right, so we can use it, because you need a project manager. I really do. I'm working on 17 things at once. Now, you need a project manager like there is no tomorrow. And somebody who's, you know what? You could take advantage of all of his teachings in exchange for doing this work, okay? So think about that. If you've got that, if you've got that that you can spare you really want to get dive deep, Derek is, he's got it all. Okay. So you can learn from every aspect of this. And then you can go on and be a great teacher yourself. You know, think about it. Yeah. That's what it's about. Making it like sending like, trying to people up and sending them out. I mean, that's what Jesus did. You know, there's nothing different. We're not reinventing the wheel. Yeah, no new revelation. There's no new calling. It's the same. it's a very ancient call, and it works. So that's what we're doing. We're training people up in love and unity and giving them the tools on how to do it and sending them out there to change the world. And it's working. It's crazy. It's so amazing. All many different levels. But man, 2020 is the year of perfect vision, new vision. It's the year of self-worth and the year that you stop devaluing yourself. And so that's what we're doing going into 2020 with that. So if that's what you're looking to do, again, with this man, this is what it's about. Debbie, I really enjoyed this conversation. I always enjoy our talks, my friend. You've had me on your show several times and this is the first time you hanging out with my audience here. So thank you for coming again. Let people know where they can find you on social media or what's the best place to get in touch with you if they want to link in with I love that. I do have a website, you guys, but for whatever reason, they're trying to figure out it's down. I don't know why. GratitudeAlchemy.com. So look for it to come up in the next couple of days to figure that out. In the meantime, get a hold of me on spirituality gone wild on Facebook. You can email me at spirituality gone wild at gmail.com. You can reach me at Debbie Garcia, 68 on my personal page, message me, or you can go to Debbie gratitude all commenced on Facebook. On Instagram, I am sparked the G vibe that's your gratitude of vibration and if you can't give me an any other way, ask Derek. If you can't give me any other way, just ask Derek. If you want to join the 21 day alchemy experiment, you guys, if you don't want the healing session, it's 105 bucks for the whole And it's a deal because I can promise you that's eye happening again, but I'm doing this because this was an experiment. And I'll give you guys a hint. Again, we're talking about like paying it forward. We're talking about honoring people. And then when you look for honor, it shows up blessing people. Then when you need a blessing, it shows up. Those of you who are wanting to be energy healers, those of you who are wanting to do private consultations and share wisdom and things like that that and do energy healing, Reiki even, mindfulness meditation, whatever it is that you want to do, you want to be a counselor, have you bought a counseling session yet from somebody? So you tell me you want to be a Reiki healer, but you've never bought, you've never purchased a Reiki session from someone, but you want us to buy one from you. Yeah, you kind of doesn't want to go together. See how they do it. Do it just for fun. Let me just see how you operate. Okay, this is what you okay So you go and okay, there's some music playing in the background. There's some sage burning close your eyes There's a meditation. There's prayer. There's moving things around in the space. Okay, great take notes like hey Thank you and you'll feel refreshed. You'll feel renewed and then that's the best way to learn learning hands-on I had a lady on here one time. Check this out. This was years ago and the video it can be found But when I first started doing sessions this lady man, I don't know if I forgot what she was from it's from another country But her name was Sana Tanstrum. She booked a session with me and And I taught her how to prophetically sing over people saying healing Melodies and vibrations and kind of get a prophetic word and see what the spirit would say and I taught her She had never heard of it and and so I told her and I blessed her and I sent her out He's gonna be good because she wanted to do what I was doing. She wanted to be a healer and do sessions and I was like, you know what like Let me just go live with you and let's go live and do some sessions together. So we ended up going live on This is back of 2015 On on my channel and we had we brought people in random people who were just needing prayer and just wanting healing and stuff and And she began to sing prophetically over them and they would just weep and cry and they feel the healing vibrations in this light man Not only did like she purchased this session just to kind of be empowered and learn how to do it and see what it looks like and move past some blockages But we did it together like we went live and it was beautiful man and I always remember that that videos up You can even find that video. I look at a lot younger. I love beard with shorter But uh, it was awesome, man. You know what I'm saying? It's just like seeing people people stepping in their calling and there's no greater feeling and then to know that hey, I had something to do with that. That's gratitude, I even know, because you're paying it forward, you know, and that if you sit in that by itself, you know, it's beautiful. Derek, I love that you're bringing this out because actually, I just did a group healing just like this online. I did it in prompt two on the spur of the moment, I did an experiment, Derek, to bring everybody in and do. I wanted to see if I went through the healing process that I do with people privately, I wanted to see what that looked like if I did them all in one big group. And I want to talk about it. I am, I am always in class of some kind. I've done David Strykles, Tyah boot camp, trust your abundance right now. I'm in, I'm in my second round of Lovecoch Academy with Scott Katamans and I'm actually partnered with them. I'm working, I am digging my anchors in even deeper in my relationship coaching and my anchoring in my my knowledge base on being able to help people through divorce and through through separation or through to being single because I'm single and I'm really good at teaching people how to do that and but constantly advancing myself with knowledge, looking sessions with other people, looking courses, taking courses, I'm always doing it. I am not, I have to continually upgrade always upgrade. So I love that you brought that up because yeah, if you're going to step out there like what I really want to be, I really want to be a raking master. Take, you got to take class. It really needs some guidance. You don't have to reinvent the wheel. No, but I don't, but I don't want to copy them. I don't want to be a copycat. Look, don't reinvent the wheel. There's people who are already doing it and are really good at it. Take some notes. You don't have to reinvent the wheel, but just take a take a couple of notes, man. There's people who are doing it. Get under them. I mean, find you somebody because it's going to save you from walking into the pitfalls and wasting time and wasting money. All that kind of stuff, man, and getting in the bad business deals with people and finding somebody who's doing it, man, and they'll pour to you. Well, Debbie really enjoyed it. Thank you so much for hanging out with my friend. I love you guys. We'll do it again. Support TracyCra.com, please. And spirituality. Bye. I love you. Support Debbie. Debbie Garcia, check out our stuff. Thank you so much for everything you're doing, my friend. You too, sweetheart. Any blessings. Bye, honey. Bye-bye. Debbie Garcia, ladies and gentlemen. Good people, man. We're surrounded by good energy, good people. People who are doing, we're in the same field where we have the same goal in mind is to do what we can to to bring forth healing to the nations and whatever that looks like, you know, and it looks a little bit different for everybody. I have my own little unique spin and what I do and someone else has their little thing that they do, but it's all different. But it's about bringing healing, man, healing the world and just paying it forward because you know what? I received healing and I just want to pay it forward as well, you know. So if that's what you want to do, linking with somebody who's already doing it, no matter what it is. I want to say, I want to talk about the retreat again. Again, so I have my retreat. It's already booked up, but a lot of the wives wanted to be a part of of something, a lot of the females in our community as well want it to do something. So my wife is putting together a retreat on the same day. So any of the people who wanted to come with their, with their husbands, they can come and be a part of the event. But it's not everybody. So there's still some more seats open. I think there's six beds open now. She's written a really nice Airbnb. It's on the river. They're going to be doing yoga, healing sessions, fire ceremony, meditation, all that beautiful stuff. And it's really at a beautiful location on the river. So it's going to be in close to Mobile, Alabama. So for those of you women in the community who want to be a part of it, the retreat, it's it's a hundred bucks. There's only six beds open right now. They've already got rid of one. So there was seven. So now there's six. If you want to be a part of that, go to what is her website? Oh my goodness, we just got, oh my God, I don't know if we got the website. Let me just go to the link, because we just made it so it's available, couple seats left. There's six left. And all the information is on the site. Go to lifeandwonder.com. But let me just read some of the stuff she has. She says, Refreshing Renew Women's Retreat. So I will have the details up at troops to get.com if you want to go ahead and grab your bed for the next one. Make sure that you check out TruStigga.com and click on advertise there. You'll see some of the different options that we have available to kind of get your product out there and get it in front of the right audience. Advertising can be tricky trying to be sitting on something so awesome and by not knowing how to get it out there to people. Obviously, you know the demographic. People who are in the spirituality and I think the we cover a wide variety when it comes to spirituality. But I got this one guy to promote for me years ago and I paid him. And he was just doing this weird marketing on Facebook. And he was like sharing my music and groups and stuff. And like, I think he was sharing it in the Nabisco group. There was a group in a page in Nabisco for Oreo cookies. I'm like, bro, why are you sharing myself to that demographic, like that's not my niche, there's a niche here, like there is something that there's like-minded people who are into certain types of things. And so those are the types of people who need my music, right? There's a people who are most likely going to listen to it, find the right people and share it in front of yourself. If you have spiritual music, obviously a spiritual, come at me with some weird products or some weird books. But if you have a book about spirituality, if you have a book about angels, aliens, UFOs, If you have a podcast, you're trying to get off the ground and you need some promo. Man, hit me up, truthsthega.com, backslash, advertise, and I'm still working on getting some of the details out, but some bigger people came to me and said, Hey, you're missing out if you don't do this. So I'm doing it. When I first started, I really, I focused on that. We would sell some of that, but that was years ago. And so I haven't really promoted that or had that as an option as of late. But if you're interested in that, hit me up, check it out. Also we got our Patreon, it's merch, bunch of really cool stuff, patreon.com, backslash trusika. Link in man, get in where you fit in, whatever, whatever it is man, whatever you're supposed to be doing. We have a community here, it's not just me in this podcast, I'm the face that you see on most of these podcasts, but there's a community of like-minded people who are interested in this conversation who are open to have these talks and you can express how you feel and some of the things you're going through and some of your beliefs with some of the like-minded people who you probably can't talk about at church. They're going to run you out. Don't do it. Do not do it. They're going to run you out. You're going to get mad. You're going to have to fight with offense, letting offense sit in because you had something beautiful to share, but then they made fun of it. They mocked it and they kicked you to the curve. Don't share it with those people. Find the niche. Find the like-minded community. They are out there. We have our Discord. We have our Thursday Night School of the Mystics. A bunch of cool stuff. Check it out patreon.com. Backslash, true seeker. And yeah, what the hell I'm gonna say peace peace. We'll do it again later. So much deeper than mine Well that does it for this episode folks to hear more episodes of The Truth, Think A Podcast head over to truththinka.com and if you're wanting to support the show and get rewards go to our Patreon page at patreon.com forward slash truth-thinka
