unturned we're gonna get to the bottom
of what it does everybody has a story
everybody has a piece of this amazing
puzzle this tapestry if you will and as
we bring them together we step back and
formulates a picture man are you
beginning to see it the more people that
you talk to the more that you step out
of the confines of whatever small
structure you're in most of us has come
out of religion and things like that and
we've only kind of been able to talk to
like-minded people people who believe
exactly what like we believe people who
look like we look you know and all of
these kind of things but when once you
start talking to people from different
backgrounds and belief systems and
structures and things like that you find
out look we're not so different after
all
you know Christianity I was always
taught what mate what made me different
than everybody else and what makes you
peculiar in those things and they're
beautiful right there's so much that
sets us apart with our own unique
beliefs and individuality and things
like that but it was almost used as a
weapon to keep you divided from people
you know instead of looking at what
makes you the same and that's something
that was never taught when within the
confines of religion and so as we begin
to speak about that it's like setting
people free just talking about what
makes us the same and seeing that
pursuit and that hunger and just the
human experience man everybody's going
through it nobody's exempt and that's
what makes us the same man all of these
things that you're going
through you're not alone other people
have been there there's books about it
they've written about the very thing
that you're experiencing there's people
who are helping to heal the trauma and
work through the pains and those things
that we're feeling and things that we're
going through and that's what this
podcast is about talking to people from
all walks of life man trying to find
that thread that makes us all the same
and it's good stuff and you don't have
to abandon your individuality your
unique your peculiar your different it's
good bring it to the table let your
freak flag fly that's what it's about

focus Michelle how's it going hello I'm
doing great how are you Derick oh I'm
doing well why are you hailing from
today Sedona Arizona us now and you're
talking about mystical experiences the
paranormal the supernatural and you're
in Sedona come on man yeah I think I
jumped out of the old life I think we
all have a purpose you know and mine
just welled up so strong I couldn't say
no to it and I just put myself all into
faith and I came and that's what I'm
doing here in Sedona now so you broke
free of the corporate life and it's
correct what were you doing before that
was a scientist a researcher for
corporate 500 500 company you shall
rename nameless didn't fulfill you
though right it taught me a lot it was
great
that's just it did you this is one of
the beauties though is that we're always
being guided to our greatest gifts and
through our greatest gifts we're always
being guided by this internal feeling
and when we don't believe in it or love
ourselves enough or trust ourselves
enough things will start showing up at
our challenges right and to get you to
really follow your own inner guidance
and for me it was illness after illness
injury after injury I had shingles in my
eyeball six months of searing pain and
all of those reminders to me that I
wasn't in the work that fulfilled my
purpose
there was no one's fault I had done that
work because that was bright degrees
were in science and math but always to
fulfill this purpose of helping people
heal was always my calling
the question always was though where is
the money right where's the money when
you're doing the heals with everybody
who's watching right now there they have
a very similar story but it's where's
the money where's the money how do i how
do I pay do
how do I keep the lights on you know
keep the lights on that is it that is it
and what I would suggest is to listen to
the calling first if I had done that I
would have seen there was an opportunity
for me to leave early and go on and do
the work and be supportive fear did set
in and I end up getting injured now for
me the little bit of difference is that
when I grew up I always saw the spirit
and they always spoke to me about doing
this work so I kind of knew already that
I absolutely needed chief to be aligned
to this work no matter what and that I
would be so later I had a near-death
experience and I saw that everyone is
supported everyone is supported they all
have gifts they all have unique gifts
and like a divine impression okay and it
is there to support them and the right
people do show ah or that and I was just
supposed to be trusting it so at the end
of my corporate life when things were
getting worse and worse and the stress
was so high I was getting illnesses I
took a chance and the first thing I did
is I was told that our team could not go
on vacation and even though they said
our team could not go on vacation for
several months because of the project
that we were doing my inner calling was
that I had to go to Bali and within two
hours of getting that feeling
I booked a ticket to Bali and I went and
sat with catuey air from Eat Pray Love
and he looked at me and he said why
aren't you using your gifts like your
true gifts and I asked him what are my
gifts and he said well writing but those
two wrinkles in between your eyes he
said there's two wrinkles those are male
and female wrinkles so George
to have good relationships and help
people have good relationships all of
your life are going to be steered to
helping people so listen to those pains
and make the decision not to live with
the pain but with their gifts because
God gave you all of these gifts well it
reminded me of my near-death experience
back in 1999 where I saw that not only
are we unique expressions of the divine
but we're also being born that's it as
if more and more divinity is coming
through each of us and the only thing
that stops it is this resistance we
don't trust it enough so what I decided
of one day was just ally and see what
happened just see what happened and I
spent every dime I hat on this until I
had to get another job in Sedona just to
support myself but during that time I
was finishing the books that I have to
give to humanity is that uh is that part
of what would your book that's out is uh
elephants never lie so is that what the
kind of the elephants referring to like
healing the trauma and there's no way I
can make it around this thing like
there's no way I'm gonna be stuck at
this job forever is that an elephant
that's it that's it it's unconscious a
lot of it sometime just because it's
gonna inherit it it is pains from past
generations durations of starvation fear
it's like in our genetics and at the
same time it's also from past traumas
you know that we that it's hard to look
at it it's hard for anyone but everyone
has guidance and they have guides and
they have masters who do care and look
out for them it is just that when that
elephant is so big right yeah
right so that's one journey to emotional
healing elephants never a lot that is
about a journey to emotional feeling so
you had this experience who ended up
leaving your job and you met with a
magic man who can who kind of who kind
of is funny I like the scripture said it
talks about like this lady who met Jesus
at the well and and she says come meet a
man who told me everything that I had
ever done he knew things about her that
she were suppressing and he was able to
read it and it changed her life and it
sounds like you had a similar experience
with the holy man you met this man who
told you things about yourself that you
were suppressing or you didn't know and
he spoke on it and it came to the
forefront and changed your life forever
that's amazing right and and I think we
can be those people for other people we
could be that holy person in and call
out the greatness inside of people and
be able to train ourselves to see the
greatness and be able to pull it out but
going back before that because you had
heightened psychic abilities and spirit
realm was just so real for you
where did it start I like to go back
where it started like the childhood
stuff did you have any weird things that
kind of burst something within you or
planted something within you like any
paranormal encounters or psychic
abilities when you when you was young
lots and that's the fun part really I
always saw the spirits and I saw energy
around people now one of the most
important parts is I would go to church
with my grandparents most Sundays and
the congregation would would be singing
as we went in and all of the lights were
shining around their heads when we went
in and then when it was time for the
minister to come up and speak I really
don't know what he was saying I was you
know four or five years old didn't
understand the language but what I
noticed was that the lights went off
when this minister spoke the lights went
off around the heads of people it did
not go off around the heads of the
children now I thought everyone saw this
okay I did not know that I was seeing
something other people didn't therefore
I thought that they were turning their
own whites off on purpose and that it
was just the adults so from a very young
age watching the energy around people I
thought adults were mean because they
would do this terrible thing and
disconnect from God so what was
happening is that they were in joy they
were enlightened by their own spirit and
by spirit and by God from singing they
had hope they had faith right then what
I believe what was happening is the
minister was then putting some fear in
their minds I don't know what he was
saying I can't say too that I know he
was a really good man but there was a
lot in that church that my grandparents
went to that's very clear face so I
guess that's what was happening so I
know I always saw spirits they were
always around our house still are around
my parents house on that land never
thought anything of it most of them were
Native Americans they were like just
living out their lives sometimes they
were very loud and by the time I hit I
thought wow I could no longer sleep at
night because they were so well so I
would have to have the stereo on my
television on and all the lights on in
my room to drown them out again not
thinking anything different about myself
then I had an experience where my aunt
actually my uncle's wife who I barely
knew maybe had better three times shows
up in my room she scared me to death I
mean really really scared and she needed
me to do something for her she needed me
to show her this skill that I had that I
could twirl the baton I could dance and
she wouldn't leave I kept the thing that
that covers over my head finally it
jumped out of bed grabbed a baton did
this the font rolling thing if she left
well I told my grandfather the next
morning and he said well Betty's not
dead
well she was they just didn't know it
yet okay they found out later that day
well for decades I was trying to get to
the bottom of why this soul would scare
me whereas all these other spirits never
scared me and what I've learned through
all of my experience is that she was
actually holding on to desperation she
had been a very abused woman and she
took that all out on her own child and I
didn't know any of this okay and my
family would not admit it to me either
until just recently they are finally
starting to admit her stop she needed to
apologize to a child okay because her
son was an adult by that time she needed
to apologize to a child she needed a
child to know that she cared so that she
could have peace with her life okay and
that's why she wanted me to twirl and it
was her desperation I think that's
scared so it wasn't until my early 20s
that I learned that other people weren't
seeing these spirits and that was a lot
through I was a Reiki teacher and I
taught meditation and spirits would
always show up in the room and I would
talk about them and finally someone said
you know no one else has seen this and
that's that's when I first learned I was
in my early twenties the thing is is
that there are some spirits that I've
experienced that we consider a master
you know like Jesus a master of
something wisdom grace love whatever it
is forget one of them and what
forgiveness forgiveness thank you yes
yes and I think one of healing was the
one that appeared to me when I was
somewhere between nine and eleven years
old and told me that I had to do this
that I would be do
doing this in my life and so what I want
people to know is that most people have
as a part of their purpose Ely they're
not just healing themselves their
healing humanity just by their own shift
in consciousness one person shifting
consciousness to loving themselves more
being present completely present right
forgiving whatever it is literally
shifts the consciousness and they have
fulfilled a great part of their purpose
when these really painful things come up
into humanity into their lives whether
it's physical emotional relationship
whatever it is it was already there in
the consciousness somewhere and it
appeared because you were strong enough
to heal it it is never to break you does
that make sense
oh yeah yeah I know I'm just amazed at
the ripple effects that it has like
you're saying just to actually not just
for yourself yourself is good right you
need to do the healing the inner work
but just looking at the ripple effects
that everything that you do has good and
the bad like we like you know I think I
think the bad is kind of the bad shows
up a lot right because the consequences
seem more severe like if you influence
people to do bad or something like but
to see like the sphere of influence that
you have on on the people around you
whether you do bad or you do good and
then we get to choose to do good we get
to choose to be ourselves we get to
choose to walk in freedom and heal
humanity and so looking at the ripple
effects that that has it's mind-blowing
you can get lost in it and it's a good
thing to get lost in it like just that
just to see the effects of that one good
deed almost like just paying it forward
or whatever the case is and so man I've
seen it in my life and just even with
this podcast and family members and
friends stepping out of you know
dead-end jobs to going in and to like
you know putting it out applications to
do something that's gonna fulfill them
you know because they've been listening
to this podcast every day and it's like
man it's something that's moving within
me when I hear you talking about this
when I hear you interview these people
who get to wake up and do what they love
for a living there's something envious
about that but it's I think it's
attainable for everybody who wants it if
you feel it moving within you if there's
a calling within your fits of stiring
isn't it not everybody's gonna be
stirred to do it not everybody's gonna
be a Reiki healer no but not everybody's
gonna do a podcast but if you hear these
stories in this movement within you then
it's for you and people and you can
embody it and there's a process and I do
think that dealing with the herb dealing
with the elephants and the trauma I
think that's part of it you know for me
it was like going in on a deep journey
and in the spirit world and and being
shown things that I needed to heal like
hey it's almost like just talk with God
that says like I've got these things for
you but you got to deal with that that
and that and it's gonna it's gonna you
know however you want to put it
poetically you know allow you to reach
those higher levels allow you to ass
into greater levels you can't come up
here holding that stuff it's weighing
you down at a different vibrational
frequency it's heavy it's real dense and
so to come up here and walk in the
beauty and the fullness of what I have
for you you got to let that heavy stuff
go and become lighter and deal with that
trauma and and I've done it and I'm
doing it you know and so it's catching
on and it's so awesome to see the ripple
effects and these are only the ones that
I know just think about the ones that we
don't know just because someone read
your book and will they know about the
people who comment and reach out you
know what about the people who don't and
that's the majority is the ones who
aren't commenting and sending emails and
supporting and things somebody just stay
here that episode and it just lights a
fire with didn't know it man you know
they may not even stick around long term
they just might hang out eat eat off of
you a little a little while of what
you're putting out that good fruit and
then they take it and they're on to the
next level and because it likes
something with them you know that's it
that is it that's beautifully said so I
could go ahead
I could add a little bit about my
near-death experience with what you're
saying about the healing part of it
unless you have something else go ahead
yeah yeah Glen my near-death experience
was so vast and the amount of learning
is so great that my second book is all
about it and it can never be put into
words the beauty of God and the beauty
of who we are I went to spirit to where
we are all connected in all one but our
spirits there's no place that our
spirits or not and I saw the great
beings from one part of God that I guess
I am connected to right helping humanity
but before I got there as soon as I left
my body I went through this shadow and
as the shadow work it's the shadow that
I'm here to largely address and it's
nothing to be scared of at all but this
is what happens sometime very very long
time ago when humans first came I
believe what happened was the
consciousness shift to the body to the
ego and away from God to all white I
loved and that that was the fall
that's just my belief mm-hmm but
whatever happened when I first left my
body I saw this shadow that was created
by humanity not by any God not okay
not by the universe this shadow was
created by humans it's not scary because
it's just energy but it has the faces of
deep what we call demons and and I saw
three of month and I stared them I had
to stare them in the up I was told to to
dissolve them and when I looked in their
eyes they were my own creation out of a
lack of self-love that I had no idea
that I was harbored but they had been
sucking the energy out of every part of
my life my body my mind
relationships even my house okay it is
that shadow that sucks the life out of
us and it's not our individual oh I want
anyone to listen to no it is not your
fault
it was humanity as a whole over
thousands of years and each of us can do
our part to dissolve it by loving if you
want to talk from it I'm gonna get some
water okay yeah you know that that that
actually reminds me of something that's
called tapas I don't know if you've
heard of that and so a tapa is an entity
that is consciously created by an
individual that you can create it in
your mind and and speak to it and give
it and give it a name give it a
personality a persona and then
eventually the the entity that you
create almost like an imaginary friend
begins to speak back to you and so this
beauty that you created is here because
of a lack of friendship maybe maybe a
just wanting to explore and see if it's
real and I really think that the Bible
paints pictures like that as well when
it talks about demonic spirits or what
the Bible calls spiritual strongholds
are these ideas and thought forms that
we create and if you in I guess if
they're personified they can look like
hideous creatures and monsters but
they're their thoughts and ideas that
lie to us about ourselves that lie to us
about the divine will of God for our
life and say oh you never amount to
anything you're just like your father
you know these these ideas that just
kind of kind of sink in and in that's
that's the interesting thing about it
these thought forms and tapas and ideas
that are created in the mind and like
you said we look back and it's like man
we created the darkness but it's not
until we face them are we able to see
them and that they're actually a thing
we personify them to make them leave
when they they associate with false
ideas and identity
about ourselves their identities that we
receive from the fallen nature that are
not who we truly are
but we've believed it because of DNA
because of family because you're just
like your dad
you know whatever it is that you heard
and for some reason we've believed it
and assumed it as our identity
completely yes and all you have to do is
look them in the eyes from your soul
from who you really are with complete
trust just look at it in the eye and
they will dissolve and it's all of our
part of our purpose and some people it's
nearly all of their so you feel like
you're on a healing journey like
everything in your life has been about
healing something this is a big part of
it sorry I talk too much oh good right
yeah so that mean there's some
interesting comments in the chat here
Martin fine penguin says uh interesting
if you can create entities are all
demons man-made creations question mark
he said I've heard some say that demons
don't really exist they are something
that we create
however fallen angels seem to be
different there's a lot of different
entities out there right they're the
ones that we create there are sovereign
entities there are entities that you
know there's a whole bunch you can
pretty much make it up in your mind and
there's probably a level of those
entities especially again it kind of
ties in to what you're saying if you
make it up in your mind you're creating
them if you believe that there's a demon
that brings the Sun in every morning or
an angel in your mind you create it I
mean that's how that's how a
manifestation works and we us creating
our reality if you can that's why I like
that's why we got to be careful that
things were entertaining we start
believing these things that that don't
exist in and things that divide us
they're like divisive to divide us from
everyone and so these different
doctrines and belief systems that kind
of create partitions in the minor or
schisms and the body of people coming
together and we just continue to divide
it right into it we
continue once we divide it we divide it
smaller we divide a smaller with you
know we've given all of it we've been
given all of this stuff but then we just
want to divide it and split it in half
and create religions and create
denominations and create sects and
create all of these different things
that don't exist but in our mind there
are these fake borders that exist that
separate us from people yes that's
interesting you even as you're talking
about it like I'm just saying it be able
to see this experience like the
scripture says hear o Israel the Lord is
one like one mind just one a lot of
people say we are God experiencing
itself right in this human yes
experience and so like it's almost like
God became a fractal and we are part of
this fractal of God if the more you zoom
in on us we represent the one we go back
to the one but it's almost like in this
we we are God divided right yes and to
see if it to see like you said this is
the testing place to see if we can love
again to see if we can heal we're
divided and only to come back together
through healing and through love and so
I do think that this place is a test to
see you know if we can do that if we can
pass the test if we can overcome and
respond with love to every to every
demon to every person that wrongs you I
think that that's the meaning of every
holy book is responding with love which
is the highest vibrational form of
frequency you know and it's going back
to Christ I believe that Jesus is the
manifestation of love becoming a person
dwelling among great and we're supposed
to mirror that you know yeah complete
grace and we can just look through all
of that to the soul of that being it's
easier because the soul of that being is
not doing it it's the consciousness that
is creating the violence and the trauma
and the anger okay it's their
consciousness it's not their soul they
themselves have forgotten their soul
that's why they no longer know what they
do forgiveness is key there to look
through to the light of that being it
helps to solve our own shadow
again you know say the one part of the
shadow of myself that I saw I could I
also was able to create it because
others also qualified that other people
also talked about it believe the same
way you can go the opposite way and have
three people stand in the name of grace
and forgiveness what does it say that in
the Bible that Jesus said the three
people three people gathered in my name
i I do not know the Bible you did well
Yahweh says what yeah we're two or three
gather in my name there I am in the mid
so I if you believe if you believe it
you will receive it I'm there you know
and that's it you know for that to be
true I mean the rest has to be true as
well
like the demonic side if you know or
Satan or whatever it is that you want to
establish it says where other people
were you can establish a thing on the
earth and it would be so like that's the
power of the mind even I'm reading the
the chat here as well and Martin also
says it would be interesting to to
explore how much we do create versus
what's actually there the scare it gets
scary because the more that you zoom in
on that you're like oh I'll created all
of this I'm I really I made in the image
of a creator god that I created this
experience I created like I went into a
lot of relationships or went into I
asked a lot of questions already knowing
the outcome you know and it gets scary
it can be overwhelming and I'm looking
back because you know job interviews and
everything like you already knew man it
gets deep but that's the level of
consciousness we're talking about
walking in right yes you know what helps
them is to keep those people around you
of grace mm-hmm the ones who support the
authentic you the ones that know and
honor your journeys without judging it
but support the real strong you who
loves and wants to stand in grace the
people who are in your lives who are
there with sarcasm judgment you know
putting all of their focus on to the
negative they're a part of your tribe
that is holding
and qualifying that energy if there's
anything I would say to take the first
step in healing is to look at your
foundations look at the foundations how
you treat your body how your your body
is your foundation how much you love
yourself and do do you have around you
your tribe that you react to on a
constant basis because just like Jesus
saying two or three people in his name
there he is well you have two or three
people in the name of laughs nope I
don't have money two or three people
saying I don't have a good relationship
that's what you have people with
relationships get people who love get
people who have joy and a zest for life
and abundance okay whatever it is that
you need keep those people in your tribe
so that you qualify those energies does
that make sense yeah there's a so it's
job chapter 22 verse 28 and it says thou
shalt also decree a thing and it shall
be established on unto thee and the
lights are shined upon thy ways it says
thou shalt decree a thing you can speak
it out you declare it you say it and it
shall be it shall be established unto
thee even if it's not established under
anybody else job yeah - says it'll be
established unto thee where at in your
in your mind and your mind's eye the
visions and goals and here come the
other people ready to tell you down oh
you can't have that it's not to work
against the thing that that you sought
after that God spoke to your heart the
whispers in your heart and the night
that you you create and you're believing
for all those people play a read that
they all play characters in your life
though whether it's looking at like you
know the Tarot and making the journey
through that or for me it's the biblical
allegory I mean that's just what I study
and these different Giants and other
nations and people in naysayers and
people that are coming against you like
that's part of the testing that's part
of this whole sovereignty of God as I
call it in the book because there's a
there's a an ecosystem in all of those
things exist for a reason you know this
by accident that you created this kind
of stuff because you have to uncreate it
and you know you got to learn how to do
that and kind of weighed your way
through it that's it whatever path you
choose every moment you have a choice
you may make a difficult choice and you
have no idea what to do but it ends up
being okay this was a great choice if
it's a great choice you'll know because
you feel like you're off the training
wheels and the bicycle is just going
okay and you're moving on your own if
you do what maybe you called bad choice
and you end up in some trouble I don't
care how much trouble it is you are
still a divine being of God and you
deserve just as much abundance love and
support as every other being of God so
that bad choice guess what happens no
matter how painful the response is no
matter how painful spirit whatever you
want to call Holy Spirit comes in and
shows you exactly what it is you do not
want what it is that it is not you what
it is you need to forgive because that
that one thing why there's like shingles
in the eyeball which is what I got
turned me around
it was shingles in the eyeball they got
me to pick up and write my very first
book Genesis I didn't have to go that
far though I did not have to get that
second that stress out but I did and I
made that choice to work 100 hours a
week I made that choice to get very
angry in my relationship and to make the
decision that I was being hurt by the
person I love see if I had not seen that
if I had seen through that so there is
grace and all of this I am being
supported financially right now by this
job I do not have to work I'm under an
hour weeks hundred hours per week to
prove myself and I just trusted that my
partner was doing the best he could my
stress level would not have gotten such
big Greek but when it did spirit came in
and said well let's have her daughter
give her a thought
so I'm on the couch my eye looks like
I'd been hit by a baseball bat
the most unbelievable severe nerve pain
through my eyeball head migraines
my daughter says I think you're supposed
to write a book
she said why don't you read Eat Pray
Love because you're just like that lady
sorry I'm so dry in this desert air and
she started reading it to me and just
like you said it started moving me
mm-hmm
does a spirit God spoke through my
daughter just say did your mom vist I
read Eat Pray Love my daughter read it
to me when I couldn't see and I realize
I am like that lady that is me I was too
much in pain to get off of the couch so
I just had my daughter bring me a
journal and a pin and every day I would
take my left eye shut and just use my
right eye and write and write and write
and that was the beginning of the
elephants never life I allowed it to
meet me you know yeah that's awesome man
just using that stuff and then like it's
like being content where you are there's
this weird dichotomy where like you need
to be content right you need to be
comfortable instead of like always it's
there right I'm not supposed to be here
I'm I meant for grace you don't say
greatness when I'm stuck at my you know
job doing whatever it is that you don't
want to be doing you're there because
you have to be not there because you
want to be you know and that's the whole
thing for me it's like getting to wake
up and do what you want to do versus
what you have to do to keep the lights
on or whatever the case is and I mean
there's a there's a gulf in between but
it's it's if if you want it it's there
for you um it was there for me but I was
in this place of like eventually like
because I was like on a precipice I can
feel it I feel I was really close to it
I was either I was close to either
letting it go
okay this is a pipe dream something
that's never gonna happen and I need to
let this thing go because it's driving
me mad I'm not happy at my job I'm not
it do I just need to give myself over to
this job and quit thinking about the
things that I want to do you know and so
and I remember just sitting in my truck
I was a delivery driver and just crying
just man when did you give up when do
you give up like what age is it 35 is it
25 it's at 46 I know people in their
sixties and seventies step finally
stepping into their dream you know what
I'm sending our destiny at 65 70 years
old and they're doing it really but this
has come to Jesus moment as I'm in do I
need to give up on it Wendy and then
through tears and I always talk about
you know the magic elixir of dreams is
fueled by blood sweat and tears you got
to bleed over it you got to work hard on
and you got to cry over it you know and
I think that that's a part of the
alchemical process for me but I want it
to maintain in the moment right because
it's we're so easy like daydreaming
about what might have been or how we can
get out of this situation and there's a
lot of fuel that comes but you need to
be present because I found myself
starting to complain about the very
things that yeah you're not afraid for I
prayed for this job I wanted a better
job it was way better than where I was
and you know and trusting the process
and you start complaining you know so
there's this weird place of like being
content but still believing that God has
more for you right and this being a
balancing all of the energies and stuff
right yeah you know I kept getting that
from spirit when they would show
themselves and Orang dreams but they
have a lot to me they for years they
would say Michelle find peace within
first it was a as if they wouldn't give
me another message until I found that
within okay yeah uh-huh and so I do what
are the healing techniques I do I did it
on myself and I laid myself on my
massage table and I asked my body where
is my body not at heats where is this
trauma that is making me my body shape
or beast
or whatever where is and then I allow my
body to take over and it usually was
about anyone that you do this technique
with the body will show you where the
trauma is well my head goes flying back
my whole body shifts back to the top of
the massage table
my head goes flying over and I was in
the position that I was when I had a
tonsillectomy eye that was when my gosh
that was exactly 30 years ago right now
and I had no idea in the world that that
tonsillectomy had caused any type of
trauma to me okay
but my body had from them and that's a
part of the elephant too so my body had
remembered something that I tried to
forget and that was I woke up at the at
the towards the very end of the tonsil
ectomy in that position with my head
hanging over okay in that split moment
that I woke up the fear took over my
body there was you know lot of
adrenaline cortisol whatever was
flooding through my body and that fear
of not of losing control made me have to
control everything so that's why I was
working a hundred hours a week I was
having to control so that somebody else
did have control over me cuz they did in
that moment if I would have searing pain
or not because I woke up but while they
were still taking my tonsils out I
didn't have the pain by the way I don't
remember the hey just the fear yeah they
put me right back under it finished so
after that I realized wow there are so
many level at finding that peace within
so I thought okay
why don't I do the HOH no photo poni and
I ended up doing that for two days
almost straight because have you heard
of that do you know that yeah we just
talked about it a couple weeks ago in
here mm-hmm nice as I would do it it
would get deeper or to other people
other things and I guess like two days I
had a massage scheduled the next day
with a lady that I
see about every three months the moment
I walked through the door her not seeing
me or talking to me for three months her
eyes just with huge and she screamed she
said oh my goodness she's the dead she
said you look completely different her
exact words were you have done a lot of
forgiveness work she knew it she could
she said she could see the difference in
my face yeah and that's what I'm doing
there's two days also the writing by the
way writing your journey down like this
was part of my journey as a child this
is my journey what and whatever little
things that you need kind of get them
out all of that together got me to that
place of peace within and what I now
understand as I brought the peace with
so now all of my reactions and all I see
with as I go forward is from a peaceful
mind no matter how bad someone's
reaction may be I'm at peace now because
I did it back then and therefore it
became a part of my journey that's good
that makes it yeah talk a little bit
more about the upon upon oh because
there are some people who we just kind
of brush through it and like what what
is it what's the prayer what is it again
so I just talk just a little bit more
about the prayer and what it what kind
of what it is I just know it from other
people
so I believe it is I know it's in
Hawaiian fare and if they go back deeper
than farther than that but I believe it
is I am sorry please forgive me thank
you i love you i believe that's the
credit
that's it's those four i love you i'm
sorry forgive me and thank you oh thank
you that's okay the order matters the
order of desmond okay so um you imagine
someone right and you should really
imagine is someone who has actually done
something that you feel has harmed
you yeah so I actually went to my family
who I had felt had been very neglectful
you know that I had done nothing to them
and as you start doing it and you're
saying I'm sorry they are there in the
energy field receiving their open up to
receive what they never had and then
they are open to giving to you and there
was this huge healing in those moments
with my family and I could see how I did
play a part in that
okay and you know on the consciousness
level there is a fine line between
victimhood and the perpetrator on a
consciousness energy level so when I
look at the energy they're on the same
line one seems terrible one seems sad
but two to be a perpetrator they have to
find an energy that is acceptable
unfortunately usually those are the
really sweet empathic people who really
feel and they really care so their
energy field is out there helping and
helping and good and kind and everything
but they're not contained they're not
self contained so their energy field is
wide open to some type of attack the
hodo pono pono gives you containment it
can't change your energy field it brings
your soul back to your body it allows
forgiveness between you and other people
and like I know someone who would do it
every day he would walk I think it was
three or three miles every day for his
granddaughter who was in serious serious
heroin addiction what she was in and
living on the streets
and they had been at the end of the rope
she had no hope left whatsoever she had
been almost dead so many times
ambulances had fallen so many years he
decided here in Sedona to walk a fret on
one of our famous rock fell Rock every
day for a month and all he would do is
do the hoe no pono pono asking her to
forgive him okay he did it for a month
he got a call from his granddaughter she
said what'd you do Rand Paul what did
you do
that's been about five or six years ago
now she got completely clean she's been
she went through rehab she now takes
care of him she is now vibrant
successful happy and she knew he done
something she know what it was but she
felt that's what the hoe know klonopin
ou can do for you and it solidifies your
energy field so these people who want to
take energy from you in different ways
whether consciously or physically they
are less likely to be able to get to you
that's awesome
when we talked about a couple weeks ago
I was you know I didn't know I mean I
knew a little bit about it but I didn't
know it was an actual prayer I didn't
know you know well how do you practice
it or whatever but when the lady shared
with me with the prayer and in the power
and what it did for her my mind
immediately went to I mean it's
different modalities right everyone but
it's but it embodies these these couple
of phrases here this mantra if you will
I love you I'm sorry forgive me thank
you and I'm like replaying that in my
life and like I gave my life to Christ
in 1998 when I was in that's that was my
prayer I love you yeah I'm sorry I
acknowledge that I've I've messed up I'm
sorry I love you forgive me thank you
and just through this process man my
life was changed forever
of like really meaning it not just
saying in but really searching my heart
and really I really grieved I'm sorry
you know and um there's many other you
know modalities where this is practiced
a a being one of them I've got a friend
who's just in love he's a Christian but
he just loves the process it's almost
like the embodiment of that and those
that those are part of the steps the
twelve steps they have those that this
part of the process going out making
them in saying that you're sorry
you know contacting those people if you
can you know and uh
asking them to forgive you for what
you've done and just that mantra by
itself is just so powerful that's beyond
words you know changed my life I had a
lot of chills when you told me your
story is no no because I'm thinking when
I go back to it and I think about it you
know that just meaning it and just
instantly having it lift it like
literally I felt lighter like I didn't
know I didn't know that I'll carry in a
burden I didn't know that I had baggage
and sins and lies and deceit in robbing
I didn't know that that was there I
didn't know that was there was a weight
to it spiritual weight whatever until I
said that and it lifted and I was
cleansed in oh wow this this feels good
you know I didn't know and so we get
used to feeling depressed we get used to
feeling unhealthy or feeling unfulfilled
we've accepted it and so it feels like
going back to the beginning when you was
in in church and that Pastor we're so
condemning and everybody's lights
started going out we're usually
navigating without a light and that's
why Jesus become like these little
children in order to receive the kingdom
of heaven you have to turn your light
back on and that light is through
forgiveness it's through love and it's
it's to thankfulness you know and all of
these things I mean there's so many
aspects and I'm sure there's teachings
that just break it down and get even
deeper deeper and deeper into each one
of those right it just see but I what I
did notice as I'm reading it here it's
just keep it simple
we like to over complicate things keep
it simple like really mean it and say it
don't say if you don't mean and uh you
know and don't say it until you mean it
and wherever you are in life when you
mean it say it and watch what happens
it's a spiritual experience all in
itself yes it is yes it is and remember
again from my near-death experience that
shadow these people who are doing these
painful things it's not them doing it
it's a consciousness it's a
consciousness out there in the ethers
it's not them doing it and if you can
remember that at times when somebody
really ignite your anger or something
you can find it be much much quicker to
return to peace because it's not them
doing is a consciousness that we can all
be a part of the heal it's in fees in
612 this is in the Bible and I know you
say you don't really know much of this
but it says for we wrestle not against
flesh and blood it's letting you know
your battle is not with humans against
principalities powers against the rulers
of darkness of this world against
spiritual wickedness in high places we
wrestle not against flesh and blood but
against principalities and powers and in
high places like so we think that that
person wronged us going back to the Four
Agreements like look it ain't don't take
it personal that person would you you
represent it's not about you you
represented somebody to that person your
freedom scares that person so they have
to lash out your to free you should
because your freedom shows them how much
of bondage that they're really in and so
they have to lash out it's not that it's
not personal it's not about flesh and
blood this is it with ideas and thought
forms and patterns and strongholds again
that set themselves up and exalt I mean
the scriptures are just like there's so
many scriptures that talk about like
these ideas that exalt themselves
against the knowledge of Christ and and
that's what we're fighting against these
thoughts these ideas that are you've
just agreed you don't even know where
they come from we gotta trace them down
and get them out and get them out there
and understand who God says we are with
we're loved were beloved we're more than
conquerors we are righteous we are
called we are forgiven we are free to
say that you know and believe it and
walk in it and man whatever you have to
do if it's music that you need to listen
to if it's podcast like these that you
need to listen to if it's books that you
need to read make sure that you're doing
it and remind yourself daily because
it's so easy to forget somebody you know
we're doing good and then somebody comes
on comes along and tells you something
different and you believe it and you
knocks you off course for six months you
know but but it's part of the shadow you
learning you know it's part of that
learning experience you know and on the
other side when you get to that other
side which we can all do isn't a knee
ously actually just through grace like
Jesus yeah to me is the was the
embodiment of grace to be much more than
that but that energy of grace with
everything you see everything you look
at is beautiful and as you see the
beauty and know that there's so much
that we are actually given in every
moment every second of our existence we
become that beauty we become that grace
that shines the light so that other
people unconsciously do the same we
don't need to save much at all yeah we
just really need to be pleasant mm-hmm
you know ourselves here with the person
who's in front of us right just be here
and see the beauty between the
conversation the beauty of where you're
at you know whether it's rain clouds you
know or sunny it's beautiful and we
start becoming that vibration that
higher vibration and we get through that
shadow and when you get through the
shadow you feel expanded free so if you
want to know about your greatest gifts
you want to know about your purpose ask
yourself what makes you feel expand what
makes you feel lighter pick because it
it feels hard it feels heavy like it's
going to UM
stress you out or you have to push push
push that's really not a part of your
purpose okay your purpose is to be free
your purpose is to be healed your
purpose is to be expanded light as a
feather
so the gifts that you are given makes
you feel that way they're light you feel
like you can breathe you forget about
the heaviness of the world so you can
ask yourself that and we'll go back to
cotillion talking about the wrinkles in
between my eyes I mean what a funny
thing just say but he was saying it's an
imprint that says that I am meant for a
very deep relationship most like
everyone is and he was saying God gave
people these wrinkles this is a Balinese
I guess belief okay that they record
they are a part of your relationship
they show that you're a deep
relationship person at that time I
didn't think I'd have any and what he's
saying is we have these simple gifts
that will take us everywhere into the
best relationship for what not and
they're right in front of your face look
in the mirror we've been given the mouth
to eat and to speak with we've been
given eyes to behold the beauty of
another person hold me hold the beauty
of the trees outside and the
hummingbirds we think of an ears to hear
to experience it's all that life is and
it's all this light is this light as
long as we're in that you need all of
our lights are on and we're in the field
of grace in which Jesus exists the
reason you don't see him manifest in
front of you which sometimes they do
absolutely I promise you that I've had
many yeah but I'll tell you they do but
the reason is because if they are
existing in complete grace
and humanity is existing in a lack of
love even if it's for your own self you
can't feel it
you're not matching up okay they're
there all of the time Jesus is with
everyone okay all the time all you have
to do is have a little bit of grace or
love in your heart okay and that's a
match this though the reason they don't
manifest if the manifestation is both
wait so it's the energy of the person
with them so if the person doesn't even
love themselves enough it's gonna have
to take the manifestations gonna have to
take almost a moment when they're asleep
okay or like half unconscious because
there's a block this lack of self-love
is a block to seeing their presence that
makes sense yeah so why what people see
them an out-of-body or dream yeah yeah
it's um it's interesting I think that I
think that that's kind of by design with
our human bodies I'm obviously we're
able to see in the spirit but being able
to see spiritually is a the gift of
discernment so that you will be able to
tell you'll be able to discern when
they're around or when what is good what
is the good imperfect will of God is
what the Bible says that if you
transform your mind you'll be able to
tell you renew your mind you better tell
what is the pleasing will of God because
you you know it it is Grace it is
forgiveness it is love and you can be
around and you say okay yeah he's here
two or three are gathered in his name
love is present right and it's that
simple and again you said crisis with
every every one it's true the in the
book of John he says Christ is the light
Jesus is the light that lighteth every
man that come into the into the world
and so that light that is within each
and every one of us and so going back to
the holy man thing you take sometimes it
takes a holy man to breathe upon that
light within you so it swells up and
becomes a wild fire within your hearts
you know and so yes Jesus did the same
thing I had the same thing done to me
you have we're doing
that for other people and it's beautiful
just the championing the whole healing
process and wherever it looks like man
and don't and not even to be a form of
escapism no that's all that's one thing
that I'm always in you know intrigued by
escapism in trying to run from the human
experience this this human experience
was articulated and created and faceted
you are fearfully and wonderfully made
to go through these feelings and doubt
depression fear like all those things
exist for a reason you get to choose
this day who you will serve and kind of
navigate through that stuff but it's
made for a reason so to embrace the
human experience now you know you have
to get to a place where you're thankful
for
usually it's once you come out of the
darkness usually when you're going
through you like somebody help me get me
out of here you know and then you can
look back on this side oh yeah I mean
I'm thankful that having you wouldn't
think you're going through it you almost
died in it you know in the thing yes
it's real some people do die in it some
people don't make it out of that
darkness you know what I'm saying but uh
but it's for those who who you know who
have hope and hope you know hope hope
the deferred makes the heart sick man
but those who have hope you can get
through it man there's something to
believe in and and and once you've
experienced it a little bit man it's
it's a lot easier because you know it's
there even if you might not be there
right now you're hearing these stories
you know it's a testimony the whole
thing about testimonies and us talking
about a bragging on it is the fact that
you know what God did for someone else
he can do for you God is not a respecter
of persons I'm not anyone special you
aren't either we are but it's it's for
whoever work whoever does it if you want
it it's here for you you know as much as
you want
far and beyond but it's about look be
present man this body this life again
the senses and everything that we have
it's a beautiful experience and it's not
about trying to escape it it's about
being present and in the moment and we
like the far out spiritual stuff I mean
that's what we're talking about but
being a human man and a human not not
not a human doing but a human being and
resting and just being a human being
yes yes one thing I want I wanted to ask
you about before we before in here I
wanted to talk to you about the psychic
abilities because I've read some of some
of your bio and stuff and so as you're
tapping into these other levels you're
having these psychic abilities kick in
and some of the stuff I was reading
about it you were getting names of
people and like first and last names and
like some really accurate stuff that you
was picking up on what was that like
when that was first happening for you
when I was my early 20s and I realized I
was the only one seeing these things I
got the courage somewhere to sign myself
up for a psychic fair I had never done a
reading before and I'm like wow I think
I'm psychic I'm really gonna challenge
myself I'm gonna sign up for a psychic
fair and these two young women sit down
across from me very very first reading
of the day and the girl says something
about her boyfriend you know she's
having a relationship trouble and I just
say back oh you mean with like John
Smith or Peter genic do you know it was
his fault it was his name first in
Atlanta mm-hmm I was unable to do a
reading the rest of the day I literally
fell out of my chair I had no idea that
that was even a possibility she was
shocked but I was more shocked yeah so I
it truly is with great humbleness I
really believe that people are born very
connected to spirit and maybe I just
never unconnected because I had a lot of
freedom with that other kids don't okay
maybe um I had a lot of Native Americans
running around my parents land they
still do so I was constantly in that um
so I started doing psychic work and
teaching psychic development and I was
teaching a meditation class once and
there had been on the news a missing
woman who they pretty much
zooom had been murdered and I wasn't
paying attention to it I just heard
about it and in the middle of me
teaching this meditation group and I'm
on all Omani pave home and you don't
doing all of this my hands are here my
experience was uh you know I'm not I
don't think I'm I wouldn't want the
mother to hear it um trauma to my body I
could feel it as if someone were
ordering me and literally was so
physically painful that I had to get out
of the meditation I stopped it and I
told people what had just happened and I
realized it was the woman the spirit the
soul that had come on television that
started happening I got pretty obsessed
with it meaning I started helping every
single missing person case I did get
names for one police case that was
absolutely identical first and last name
of the perpetrator but there is a
problem with obsession over that stuff
you know I thought I was helping helping
but there is a place where there's
non-interference is a law of the
universe okay I was giving myself so
much I was no longer self-contained to
be a healthy person so there's a fine
line with being psychic because you
can't study really careful with your
words very careful you're importing into
their consciousness something and um I
did a lot of tarot cards as well and I
had quite a learning with the tarot
cards most recently I'm totally about
Oracle's I totally believe in Oracle's I
know they work but I had a deck back in
my 20s that was uh like the Golden Dawn
mm-hmm and the Golden Dawn deck has a
lot of dark images on okay and about ten
years ago I realized that's not good I
don't like that and I wrap it I wrap the
tarot cards in leather and I hid them in
my house back in Ohio where I'm from
forgot about them
when I moved to Sedona I literally
jumped and someone else ended up moving
my stuff for me and bringing it here and
when it's a god here I saw that leather
pouch of those tarot cards and hid them
in a closet I started helping out at a
crystal shop a woman said oh I would
love a tarot deck no and I said oh I
have one I don't want it I said I don't
I leave in the dark images I don't want
that in people's consciousness that
ability to transform something into the
dark the consciousness or desert you
know that something terrible is going to
happen the apocalypse I don't want that
in the consciousness I said but you
could have him if you'd like so she did
the next morning I removed them from the
leather and put them in my purse it's
just a few months ago tuck them into
that crystal store and stored my purse
up in a storage cubby
back at it in a room and I don't feel
right like not a little wrong I am very
very dizzy not feeling well next thing I
know another employee goes into the
cubby comes out yelling that there's
some dark spirit coming out of my purse
no one knowing about the tarot cards in
there nothing
another woman comes in they all agree
throw I literally very upset with me
what's in your purse and at that moment
I was so dizzy I forgot about the tarot
cards I told them over and over there's
nothing in my purse I'm like I don't
even have money in my purse that's like
my beach bag there's nothing in that
first it wasn't until I left and I went
through a drive-thru to get some food
then I reached into my purse and put out
the tarot cards so we burned those
things
hmm so being a psychic yes I can see
that I can I'm a medical tutor like I
could see into the body where those
problems at how that can heal but
there's the
very fine line with that responsibility
because you can put a lot into their
conscience there should never be words
and I just said that should yes I should
it's like pulling the death card it's
like oh but wait it's not a bad thing
it's like immediately there's fear oh
God death card
wait wait wait it's not really scary
he's like hit him with fear then soften
it up a little so that's why you know I
started that 30 years ago teach me all
of that and today I'm all about
empowering people I think I think I
think your story kind of ties in with
the question that we had here lori-ann's
and on face book is talking about do you
know anything about portals in houses
because she says she uses sage to
cleanse her house but she says at night
she's visited by a two inch entity of a
little thing that visits her every night
in bed that won't go away and it says
she says it's a little black round thing
with lots of legs and lots of legs right
on the side of her face and it's there
every night something a little spider
well two inch spider or some but she
says it's an entity that's visiting her
every night could that be something
that's linked to a portal being linked
to an object in the home a cursed object
again you saying that he had these tarot
cards that represented fear and then
there's some type of fear entity that
came through it could that be something
else in her house that is it that is
what it is for her I don't know what the
object is but that is what it is for her
yeah I think it's something but yeah
that's a that's something we've been
looking into a little bit too I've wrote
it I wrote about it in the book a little
bit the whole thing of cursed objects
and cursed I like to touch on both side
blessed objects right if they're for
there be it to be cursed objects there
has to be blessed objects as well right
and so - looking looking into both and
having trinkets around your house and
you know we've always heard about people
having like
items that are haunted or whatever like
a dresser you know that someone a mirror
that they see someone you know in the
you know all kind of crazy far-out their
stuff but again I think that is
something to consider like looking at
the stuff that you have and always
examining like what's in your life to
open it up doors I will say that there
is a hyper like a high polarization of
that because you get to a place where
you just start throwing everything away
especially in the Christian perspective
you like I got crystals there's demons
on these crystals I think it's dorm away
I got this book I got this book of a
true Sikh I got thrown away and you
start like I've totally been there where
like I'm getting read on my jewelry I'm
getting rid of posters I'm getting rid
of videogames I mean we're just you know
in this weird like you know thinking
that I'm haunted and stuff it's gotten
one anything demonic to be in your midst
you know so there's that too which is
like the hypo lies a ssin of it yes my
brother at our house with all the
spirits to go to her question to it was
in his room it seemed there was this
portal and the portals there there's
there must have been some type of
massacre that happened on that land that
charged it well what tapped into it for
him was the darkest darkest of heavy
metal rock so at 16 he was really
playing this a lot then him his little
friends were doing crazy little things I
don't know they were sniffing glue or
you know they're like 15 or 16 but he
had the little demonic things start to
come from his room and he figured out
that he had been a part of tapping into
that portal by getting into the real
heavy dark darkest of the rock but you
cannot go all that way we have to be
light and fun we have to joy yeah our
experiences here you know after the
Tarot incident I just said please I just
do not want to throw away by Anne Rice
novels you know Anne Rice is fun to read
there's darkness at this though right we
don't want to
ourselves to get into the dark
consciousness no once it's been there it
can be it can be stored in the vibration
of that physical object so I would just
have her look like in her room in
drawers under the bed if there's
anything she's used in the past even if
it's with like a past relationship or
something that caused a lot of I'd get
rid of it hmm yeah yeah there's a
there's not a lot that uh that remained
in our life from our previous life I say
the previous life in in this life like
the person I used to be got rid of a lot
of stuff you know like because I was
into a lot of the dark stuff and I mean
we had wall flags of Marilyn Manson and
Satanic Bibles and now you know all kind
of really dark or cultic things that we
would practice a cult
dark rituals what with you know and
putting spells on people and that not a
lot of that stuff surfaced there is a
few pictures here and there that that
made it and a few letters and things
like that but it's not a lot I had to
get rid of a lot of that stuff and I
mean there comes it there comes a time
where I think that it is healthy to
cleanse but it can it can I always want
to throw that out there it can get
unhealthy really quickly you just don't
have any belongings I mean you just
throw everything away because you think
everything is if whether it's not
Christian enough or there could be a
spirit attached to it or I mean I got
one friend who we taught about this like
his uh his mom and they don't wear
hand-me-down clothes or clothes from
Goodwill because the person might have
died who was wearing those clothes or
something in their spirit might be
attached to their clothes maybe your
beliefs and stuff so and that would
easily say okay if I didn't buy this new
from the store then I'm not gonna I'm
not gonna wear it
you know these interact we're talking
about the thought forms that it becomes
a law because she believed it it's real
to her like hey if we wear the clothes
of hand-me-down people then we're gonna
start acting like them or the same
things that was attacking them are gonna
attack us like this is weird it's not
necessarily true but it's true because
she believed it in in her world and your
reality it becomes your truth that's
just how it works people that's it
that is it so I mean you got it so let's

identifying that coming to terms with it
and working with it maybe riding that
elephant it's a novel like The Celestine
Prophecy is an outward journey yeah this
is an inward journey yeah I think those
are I think those are in inward journeys
too there's so much out there man like
The Alchemist and things like that you
know beautiful returning back to your
childhood and return it back to the
innocence I can't read those it's hard
for me to even watch TV for the most
part without doing the inner reflection
or things like embodying things in my
life you know once you're so like I
can't watch The Lord of the Rings
without you know the Holy Spirit saying
okay this is that this is that I can't
read a book without what does it
represent to me what is it in my life
and it was a just a god thing really
that happened to me when I read the
Bible and it became real to me it didn't
become a history book it became a book
that was talking about my life and where
I was and what I was contemplating and
what I was dealing with in the hour you
know I would read about it as I'm
reading the scriptures just like reading
like reading my mail it's almost like
you know doing psychic readings on me
the Bible was alive like a living book
as it says and it's really interesting
but the inward journey and that we all
take and it's it is no respecter of
person that's right everyone could read
it and put themselves in that place and
trust me we all if it's applicable for
one it's for everybody and it doesn't
you don't matter where you are in life
that you can you can overcome those
situations and and and deal with the
darkness yes and you can write your own
journey as well and I hope that book
also helps people to realize the healing
power of writing their own journey it
kind of connects the dots of your life
and your purpose and for me that first
book was very healing to write but not
half as powerful was when it was
published
because all of the feedback I get family
members coming out of the woodwork to
say I needed to hear that I really
needed to hear that you know because
it's always been kept quiet we don't
talk about it in the family it completed
so much of it completed my journey for
the first half of my life completely and
now my second book will be out in about
six weeks six to eight weeks and that's
gonna be creating forward and that is
how to start with a piece and that will
be a nonfiction like starting with the
inner peace and going with a natural
flow of God how God supports us which is
that we are all being born into our
brilliant authentic selves so it's about
stepping out of the way okay yeah yep
and uh hence the term born again you
were born once but you I could be born
again inside is so funny in the
scriptures just like what do you mean
I'll have to be born again I was already
I got to enter my mother's womb and be
born again is like now you got to be
born of spirit my friend you know be
born again in spirit you know and so
that's those words mean a lot more when
you remove the religious connotation off
of them you know and say okay how does
this apply to my life how is this
practical just like ya got a you know
start over you got to become a child
again you know it's beautiful yes well I

deal with that elephant I said don't
just deal with ride the elephant cause
it's like that's your vehicle man you're
setbacks or your slingshot to propel you
into the life that you want for yourself
you know I'd like to go to the
scriptures and you a lot of you like me
to go to the scriptures to you've sat
back to a slingshot what the enemy meant
for your your harm God will use for your
good what was created to destroy you is
going to be the very thing that propels
you into your next level into the into
the best life the things that you're
fighting with it what seemed like it was
gonna be your demise you're you're right
where you need to be I mean there's so
many Bible stories I mean that's
literally what the Bible is about right
in the standing strong in the face of
opposition not giving up hope not
doubting I mean was there's so many you
know Joseph being in what is it in uh in
in the pit he was in the pit and went
from the pit to the palace has all of
his brothers she was trying to kill him
and now he becomes the ruler you know
and it's all of these people were in
situations in the Bible where it looked
like it would never done they weren't
qualified for the position to lead they
weren't you know they're they've done
too much to move forward I mean it's not
just their story I'm gonna finish their
story that's your story it looked like
all odds were against you look like look
you you at the end of the rope and boom
that's what breakthrough happens the
very thing that seemed like it was set
off to kill you this is what's gonna
bring you joy your your tests the thing
that's testing you and won't stop that
becomes your testimony your mess that
you're dealing with God turns your mess
into a message and you can walk in it
man again it's hard to see through the
other side but hey as part of the
journey the journeys worth that because
when once you get there you like I can't
wait to get there look the power is in
the journey man that's what allegory is
the allegories in the journey you don't
hear much about once the Israel eyes you
know enter the Promised Land or what
they were doing it's like there was the
journey to get there and to defeat the
enemies that stood in the way and the
bosses and things and like
you know it's it's all about the journey
embodying it and loving every part of it
and and not overlooking any of it it's
all worth it every single part and trust
me you'll be I don't know where you are
but God knows Tom changes men
Tom's flying or at least our perception
of it is situations change people grow
people come in and out of your life man
in a heartbeat be present be in the
moment man don't don't let these moments
flee from you it's it's you getting
there and did our heart it's it's it's
really interesting you know things
change people change you know just be
present wherever you are no matter what
you're doing I'm gonna jump here in the
chat whoo Martin fly penguin says I love
how these conversations open up more of
the scripture things we pass over it's
odd statements that only makes more
sense for sure man yeah that was for me
I'm telling you like studying anything
like outside of the scriptures I always
filtered it through the scripture and it
wasn't like trying to make it fit it was
oh oh yeah the Bible says something very
similar to this
you know you'd hear these statements
you'd you'd read the 48 laws of Maude
you know you read The Alchemist you read
all of these other books and because I
knew the scripture so well like it uh I
seen where it fit and it was saying the
same thing only with with different
words you know I talked to a lady
yesterday and it was so funny because
she seemed I guided meditation on astral
projection and I have been talking just
flirting with the idea of changing the
name of the astral projection meditation
to spirit travel because I know I have a
lot of you know Christians in my
audience who are kind of warming up to
some of these ideas of some of that
stuff but some of it's a little far out
there it's taboo astral travel being one
of them you know there's some weird
stuffin you know that that other people
have said hey stay away from that now
that's too far out there so but she was
like now if it was spirit travel I might
buy it and I said look I've been doing
podcasts talking about this talking
about all I have to do was change the
name and it's it's ready to be received
you know there's different terminologies
and stuff to explain all this stuff and
I'm not married to any of them I love
them all obviously the Bible doesn't
talk about that Bible doesn't use that
terminology the Bible doesn't mention a
lot of terminology missus get down to
Pilate
I would do so much stuff that's not
biblical we're trying to be as biblical
base as we can or whatever just know
that there's just so much more even in
the Bible of like but you're not going
to be able to interpret until you look
into other ideologies you're not you're
gonna interpret it through Western
thought through Western Christianity and
it's not a Western religion it's not a
Western spiritual practice we've
westernized hell we're beginning to
westernized it the eastern yoga and
stuff like that we're making that
westernized and taking that and stealing
it from them and making it our own you
know here in the West but you got to
look to the east man Christianity was a
spiritual practice in the East before it
became a religion in the West I'm
convinced these were very spiritual
people they had an amazing far-out
out-of-this-world encounters with with
angels with beings from other realms
from God you know hearing voices of
spirits that were you know meeting with
their leaders from beyond the grave and
all kinds of interesting things that
were going on that we don't really hear
about and so if you want to interpret it
you're not gonna better go to your
pastor and ask them you got to go to the
east you got to look into this stuff
flying penguins that's Christian yoga
baby yeah Yoga is amazing man it's so
funny though you're here you'll hear
like there's videos and people believe
it and say like if you do yoga then
you're worshiping like pagan gods if you
do yoga
so we got to do Christian versions of it
modified versions Yoga is amazing for
your body your body will thank you if
you do yoga trust me trust me every good
and perfect gift comes from above you
know I believe that with all my heart if
it's here if it's here to help you and
help you become a better person
to be more conscious conscious of your
body stretching you know it's yoga is
very good my wife is on a daily jog aroo
teen she's been keeping it up since the
first of the year and I'm proud of her
I've been doing it a little bit here and
there with her and I'm not as flexible
as her and my wrists hurt really really
easy when I started doing some of those
poses but you know the more you try it
the more you do it the stronger you get
I'm not an expert I do love the
breathing techniques and mindfulness in
the meditation aspect of it for sure
that's definitely where I come in
leading that stuff but uh you know tell
me you want to interpret it you got to
look outside you know your realm of
thinking you know we're trying to
interpret you've been you've just been
reading Christian authors like it
whatever subject it is you've just been
reading Christian understandings of it
so if you're like in a box you got to
look outside of the box God it's more
than what you've been told you know
Christianity love religion the religious
experience is more than what you've been
told it was there's a commonality with
all things Martin says shoot most of the
encounters of the Bible would be
rejected by the typical church today for
sure yeah but they're starting to
embrace it you know that you're you know
there's more things that we were able to
talk about now then we could have talked
about 10 years ago so that's huge
you know but they have to talk about it
now there's a bunch of them who are
they're still fighting it tooth and nail
but guess what they're gonna be left
behind they're gonna be left there
getting left behind people are leaving
the churches by the thousands man it's
crazy it's it's crazy and if they don't
if if they don't stand up to respond to
the culture the call
just left them behind and the churches
would not be relevant anymore it's not
that Jesus isn't relevant he's the most
beautiful thing that you can encounter
any but he's in all things so you don't
have to go to church to deal with Christ
you can close your eyes and pray
wherever you are and that's the beauty
and the power that we have through
Christ that he destroyed that veil that
separated us from God that we had to go
to a priest that we had to go to someone
to hear about God that know the New
Covenant is that no man would teach you
about God you can go to God directly for
yourself and have your own experience
and anything that it's beautiful
is Christ anything that is as lovely is
God you know in the end I mean you'll be
able to judge that fruit so that's the
interesting thing about it all God is
very inclusive we've been told that he's
not and so I hope to deal with some of
that stuff and those schisms and isms
here on the podcast and the things that
scare you and stuff like that so Nina
says defent Alice Eve Martin's is
definitely podcast like this and what we
do opens up real conversations yep
opening up a new way to see the love of
Christ within us yeah because you've
been told that your you know your your
filthy your dirty you know that you love
you been told God hates them you know
what I'm saying and they're just in this
religion that's dimming their light they
have no light they're not the light of
the world
they're beggars they're not more than
conquerors they're not free they're not
redeemed jesus said you shall know the
truth and the truth shall make you free
well while these people who are in the
churches claiming to have the truth but
they're bound up they're in religion
they're not free their marriages are in
shambles they you know they have nobody
to talk to they can't be themselves
around people that it's not freedom
that's pretending you guys gotten really
good at pretending shake it off come up
out of here the Scriptures come out of
for my people so you would not be a
partaker of our plagues it's deep its
deep I don't know where you're on your
studies man but uh you know it's it gets
deep you know I've studied a lot I've
been in it Pauline Christianity you know
is not it's not the way to go
but I do believe Paul was a highly
spiritual person but what Christianity's
become today do you know no don't do it
I do like fellowship fellowships amazing
and if you go to a lot of people go to
church just for the fellowship you know
thank God we have online communities
because we have people like who are
responding to the message they want to
know more about Christ they want to come
into relationship I don't know what this
is true sick of what is it how do I get
to it I want what you have we'll pray
together you know and usually you say
hey get plugged into a good church by
that's sending you as sheep to the
wolves
I can never do that so we have they're
like make community you know what I'm
saying we have to can't just send
somebody to some random Church it's all
kind of foolishness going on out here so
we have online community meeting what
people literally all over the world
it's amazing people are joining us from
Taiwan people joining us from man
Australia New Zealand all over the world
it's different times when they join in
whether they're joining on the school of
the mystic so we're just doing a morning
prayer on our disk or community whatever
it is it's so awesome to see people
hungry for more you know and just
resonating and again not running from
the human experience but embracing it
embracing every aspect of it the good
the bad the ugly you know it's uh it's
awesome I wouldn't trade it for anything
and I'm glad to to be a part of this
movement and I'm not the only one
there's a lot of people Martin and the
flying penguins and a lot of people who
are waking up in the Christians and that
they're not abandoning their faith their
their remaining in their faith and but
they're open to their spirituality you
know that they've been robbed they're
told that it's demonic or something like
that so I'm love the fact that people
are waking up and they have to if not if
you don't you get left behind we're
changing as a people society is changing
Christianity is changing and I know
people who want to fight that I even
that statement you know Christianity is
changing and Christianity has to change
I know that's scary to say that
but the Christianity as you know it in
the West has been changed it's not
biblical Christianity as much as you go
back I got people who were just friends
that I love those guys dearly but
they're just really into the Church
Fathers as far as like John Wesley John
G Lake and all of these you know the
Reformation guys and Martin Luther and
all that they they feel like that's they
feel like that's the the plumb line for
Christianity in the church like these
guys are like the fathers of the
Protestant movement right anything that
that's not you gotta go beyond in people
man they what they had was a was a
knockoff
they now what they did they you know it
brought it to another level from just
being in you know would it had become in
the Catholic Church and you know shout
out to those guys but those guys are not
the standard I'm sorry those guys that
Wesley and all those dudes they're not
the standard Jesus is the standard Paul
Peter those guys man look at look at
what they had imitate that don't be no
imitators of these other people these
fallen dudes putting their pants on one
leg at a time just like you man look
these guys has something beautiful
that's lost and we're trying to reclaim
it that's what it is and there's grace
there cuz you're gonna get it wrong
sometimes you're gonna mess up it's part
of it that's what grace comes in that's
what it's about
never stifle exploration you know you
don't just let anything fly right it
isn't there should be a plumb line but
the more you read them scriptures with
an open mind you find out that there's
stuff in there man it's just out of this
world and it's awesome because we serve
a God who was out of this world you know
in the creation and in consciousness and
the oneness that we all are Danny says I
think the number one problem of the
church is lack of discernment for church
was for people too man
a lot of kooky stuff going on again even
with the fringe stuff we're talking
about you know all kind of far-out stuff
right psychic abilities aliens astral
travel right
where do you draw the line there's
there's people who are into all kind of
stuff and it almost seems like anything
gets to gets to fly but that shouldn't
be it either
we need to have some discernment like
you said we need to have some because
even in the mystical movements man
they're making up all kinds of crazy
stuff and there is no foundation there
is no preaching of the Cross there is no
preaching of the redemption of sins and
overcoming the flesh and you know even
as a Hebrew six tells us to move on to
some of the that the deeper things in
the scriptures write in but we have to
do the first works though because most
of us don't even have the beginning
stuff down we don't even have the
beginning stuff down so - for people to
just like move to the the so-called
deeper things or whatever they don't
even have the foundation down so we need
to teach the foundation and you want to
get down to it the foundational stuff is
deep anyway because you have a deeper
revelation of you able to teach it and
get really get the meat of it and not
have to like bring in crazy fara stuff
to really tickle the ears and lead
people astray and be so weird and so far
out with your gimmicks then you can win
people and keep people because once you
win them you got to keep on with that
stuff just like the fear-based stuff if
you come into this relationship with God
and through Christ through fear they
you're gonna stay with fear and you got
to keep being scared but people get it
get over that eventually they find out
how they taste and see that the Lord is
good as a scripture says and the fear is
gone there is no fear perfect love cast
out all fear once you're embraced by the
perfect love of God fears gone all of it
for perfect love casts out all fear you
better come into a relationship with the
Creator man and just this all and Wonder
and beauty of what that is and what that
looks like there's depth to it there's
levels levels of consciousness levels of
encounter with God you know and
everybody has a different piece and a
different portion and we're viewing this
one thing from a different ass
fact we're seeing different pieces of
the one and we're bringing that to the
table and say hey let us what what
happened from to me this is what I
believe you know this is in seeing if it
sticks you know I've been told not to go
off of your experiences go off of the
Bible well as I'm reading one thing and
you guys are preaching one thing but my
experience with you all is different you
know just like Gandhi said I love your
Christ but you're Christians are not
like your Christ they're very different
and I don't like them because they don't
do what Jesus did so check yourself
before you wreck yourself
