“I love you. Let that really sink in.
The God who created the universe loves you.
What could be more comforting than that?”

The text above is just one of the 201 messages contained in this volume. The messages all point to one central truth: that the Creator of human beings is an indwelling and loving God who is “inextricably embedded in every particle and cell and thought and feeling of every human.”

and your work and the inspiration behind
all that so welcome to the podcast
thank you
how did you find out about me
i
googled mystical and spiritual podcasts
and there you were awesome
seo it's working it's working seo is
working yeah so man well here we are man
we're going to connect and uh two two
things that you know in the title of
that specific book that that you wrote
uh
you know uh
the mystical
and and the love of god and so how those
two
tie together and and and reading what
you you put together uh definitely
excited to explore it with you so for
people who don't know who you are and
this is their first time hearing about
you i guess just kind of give us a brief
overview who you are what you bring to
the table we'll start there
well thank you um
i guess i should hold up a copy of my
book
this is the mystical love of god uh
divine writing messages from the god who
is always with us
and
uh that's what i approached you with i
live in maine i'm from maine
traveled around the country a bit but
now i'm back in maine
and
well i'm a writer
an author a public speaker but i also
had a career as a programmer and you
know web database person for quite a
long time as well so
but i love writing so
um
through a long
journey i ended up publishing this book
so
here i am yeah one of the the uh again
the taglines for the book is the
mystical love of god divine writing
messages from the god who was always
with us and then in in really bold print
up under it it says
um i love you
let that really sink in the god who
created the universe loves you what
could be more comforting
than that
now
um
is this approach from a christian
perspective is this more of a universal
perspective what is the the stance when
we use that
that
term for a lot of people
who aren't religious can be scary uh you
know this god and because that word
brings a lot of connotation with it as
well right
yes
i'm a christian but i i wrote it from
well first of all the the divine writing
messages from the god who is always with
us are the main core of the book there
are 201 messages which i can explain in
in a bit
um
but the
essence of of the book is that
one has to ask if there's no god if
we're just you know
evolved from a black void
then that's one
view of the universe if there is an
intelligent creator who created the
entire universe created all human beings
created all all things in the universe
then that intelligent creator is common
to all of us
so of course from a christian
perspective there's a certain viewpoint
about
who god is god is a god of love etc
the message of jesus for example to love
your enemies
an incredible bar to that that
christians try to attain
i would say more than anything else the
the
feeling i have about god and the feeling
i received from god in the messages in
this book
are more akin to the
the christian view of god a god a
parental god a loving god a god who
forgives a god who is not harsh or
judgmental or
you know hateful but a god who really
loves every single person
and so i think i would say that
broadly speaking
it's closer to the christian view of god
but it's but but at the same time i
don't believe god wants to put anyone in
a box and
we should go beyond
any kind of doctrine or
denominationalism because god is there
for all of us yeah
i agree and uh and i think more and more
people are starting to agree and
um
that concept of god
is amazing um
you know i you know i talk to people
from all backgrounds and all walks of
life and i go on their shows and and i
don't really deal with a lot of atheists
but most of them
you know could be standoffish you know
from religion so but when it comes to
explaining
god the way that you just did
like
that works
you know that that works and and i can
try my best to articulate how it works
for me
and uh and it's all good like there's no
negative that that i perceive like it is
all good and um
god is good right as the scriptures
testify and i think that
you know the life of many christians
would testify that that god is good and
and and so that is this uh this song and
dance to to come and partake and and
taste and see and just to experience
that
and um
you know there's a there's an outline
there's prayer there's there's um
there's things to do and and and uh
structure that i think that humans need
when it comes to advancing in the divine
and discovery and all of that's there so
i'm a christian as well and uh many you
know depending on who you are people
people scrutinize that or make fun of
that but it's like listen there's a
reason that i'm a christian because it
works because this this overwhelming
radical love of god is is contagious and
it's it's helping me get through and and
i've gotten through many rough times in
my life because of it so i just want to
preface this conversation with that um
one of the things that that you talk
about like in this book that you have
messages from god
now for some people that's scary too but
it's it i think it's right up my alley
because i really like the wording that
you used here when you say that these
messages came from divine writing
communion sessions can you talk a little
bit about that and and and those
sessions and what that looks like and
how the messages would come to you and
we start there then we can kind of dive
into some of the messages
yes yes
i also want to um
make a comment about the the the
christian view of god as a as a
god of forgiveness and love
is really important if you think about
the the song amazing grace
you know
a wretch like me
well
you know people i i feel sometimes are
are feeling unworthy
or
that they have no hope that the world is
dark and
and
hope is an important thing and
when we find out that there isn't just a
black void
but there's a
warm embrace of love
flowing throughout the universe which is
the embrace of god
then i believe that it really
transforms us
yeah and
because especially in today's turbulent
world hope is really important and that
comfort of a presence of god is
important
and
you know i in the book i have
four essays uh the first two are well
the first one is about my
own search for the what i would call the
indwelling god
the second one is a an essay that
explains the process of divine writing
communion
and messages
uh the then there are two at the end of
the book uh
and one is an exploration of the nature
of god and the fourth one is uh an
exploration
exploration about the
possible reality of the spirit world
because people are very curious about
that so i
you know delve into a lot of
testimonies things like near-death
experiences and all kinds of things like
that
but the
divine writing communion
was
a result of
oh many many years of searching
uh i put in in the first essay of the
book that back in 2002 i i was in
virginia and i told my wife i was
looking out the window and i said you
know i want to have a mystical
relationship of love with god
because i i'd been a christian i i you
know i had a picture of jesus next to my
bed when i was seven a little little
wooden and metal plaque you know
and that was really important to me when
i was 18 i was reading books like the
magnificent obsession or the robe by
lloyd c douglas and
you know i i really wanted to to be with
jesus
and over the course of many years
i
found um that prayer was important that
you know god was there but
i started looking at the writings of the
christian mystics like one of my
favorite is a
a a christian mystic named meckfield of
magdeburg from germany in the in the
1200s
and
she had a a passionate
personal
intimate relationship of love with god
that you know a mystical relationship of
love with god and i thought i want to
have that i don't want to just pray to
god and hope that my prayers are heard i
want to feel god's presence i want to
live with god i want to
i want to find the god who lives within
us and i want to have a communion
so
i read a book
called um the way of the the way of a
pilgrim and the pilgrim continues his
ways it was written by uh
uh anonymously by a russian pilgrim in
the 1800s who wandered around russia
reciting what he called the jesus prayer
which was uh you know lord jesus had
mercy on me and
i read that i was very
very um impacted by that back in
2007
and
the essence of that was that in in
thessalonians it talks about praying
constantly that we can't control
the quality of our prayer necessarily
but we can control how often we pray
so the idea that this pilgrim followed
was to pray constantly
all day
you know continuously so i started what
i call the god prayer
and
eventually it evolved into a simple
phrase dear beloved we embrace
and so i i recorded it i put an mp3
earbud in my ear while i was on the
phone or working i work at home so i
could do that and all day long for years
and years and years i would listen to
and repeat dear beloved we embrace
which
really revealed to me that one of the
methods we can use to find god
is to
just simply
decide that we are going to embrace the
invisible god even if we don't know
where that will lead us
and so so i found that by the act of
embracing god i was able to find god and
by the act of of of reciting that um you
might say mantra dear beloved we embrace
it brought my mind and my thoughts and
my heart into that realm of feeling
god's presence and then in
2014 i
had visited a psychic medium just
because why not i thought i'd give it a
try and
and at the end of the session she said
you know you ought to try automatic
writing
well i've heard of it i don't really
like the idea of having something take
over my mind and
i'm writing something i don't even know
what's going on i don't like that
but what i had done previously a little
bit but i just that very night i tried
again was to simply open my laptop
write down you know
um i i called god dear beloved you know
dear beloved god is there anything
anything that you would like to say to
me now is there anywhere that you would
like to take me now on on a journey like
a mystical journey
and then i would you know write down a
few comments a few thoughts share some
id you know share some questions perhaps
and then i would you know of course i
would preface all that with prayer and
then i would simply wait and see if god
answered me in my mind
and i was
utterly flabbergasted that
thoughts came into my mind and i i
personally believe that god can
communicate with us telepathically
we're used to praying to god
we're used to kind of trying to receive
guidance from god in our prayer to know
which direction to go to in our life
but the idea that god can literally
speak to us in our mind telepathically
like a whisper yeah it was a novel idea
for me so
on that day i received the first what i
call divine writing communion message
and i continued that
not every day but a lot and after six or
seven years well
i decided i'm going to publish this book
of 201 messages because
they weren't for me only they were they
i felt that they were timeless they
applied to everyone yeah
and that's how it all started wow
i i like the the way you're you know
stepping into that journey and
explaining it um just because it hits
home you know i uh
i i have some guided meditations and uh
and
journeys or whatever and
i've essentially got them the same way
you're talking about just sitting there
and
okay lord
you know speak to me and through me to
me and through me is the is the mantra
if you will and so um
you know i i
i uh it was it's just so similar but
it's so special like you captured a a
moment you know and um i'm sure it
looked
very much similar to what you were doing
and sitting at the computer and um
you know
the idea was to was to write you know i
had the inspiration okay let's do a
meditation let's let's take the listener
on a journey
but not just any journey in you know but
a specific journey into the presence and
thrown room of god
and so there's like this visionary uh
thing that i'm seeing as i'm going there
and then
i'm struggling to keep up and type
what i'm writing you know and then so
there's this journey which is kind of
fun and maybe there's some liberty to it
but i still feel like it's led and then
you get them into the throne room and
the whole way there's messages there's
little breadcrumbs
and i'm i'm in the place of communion
just like
okay lord what would you
what would you say to them now that
they're on their way and they're here
and um if i remember the first one i did
by far to me is the most powerful
just because i was weeping
you know and in god's presence and and i
and um
he's like tell them i love them
tell them that my love for them will
never fail tell them that that be you
know everything that that happened uh to
them and and what's what was happening
for them and you know they're not a
victim and i'm gonna heal them and it
was just this beautiful
like okay lord i'll tell them and i'll
write it down write it down and
um
then you're done and it's like wow it
was so powerful
for me that
i couldn't even i would i was excited to
tell people
and i was like you guys gotta i gotta
read some of this to you man i was so
like proud of it and
and my heart was in it and i would read
it and i couldn't read it
because every time i would read it i
would just start weeping
and even though that i
got it i recorded it i produced it you
know there's all that
you know a lot of times once you're
familiar with something it kind of loses
its sacredness or holiness right because
you it's not holy it's not set apart
you're dealing with it every day and so
it's like yeah it's kind of nonchalant
but
every time i listen to it if i play it
for somebody i've played it for groups
of people and
recovering programs and stuff and i'm
just like holding back those tears
from this magical moment that that i
captured
on paper but also in audio form
so that that experience is uh
radical you know like god is speaking
these eternal truths not only just to
you
but to others
and um
was there tears involved with you was it
did it did you step into an atmosphere
like of god's presence or was it more
intellectual or did it just speak to
your heart what was that process of like
once it started you know working and
you're getting these ever-present truths
what did that feel like
i think it was similar to what you just
explained you experienced where it's an
emotional
um reality yeah because i don't want to
just talk to a computer
i want to talk to the indwelling god of
love who embraces us and
and
you know for me it became the most
intimate passionate embrace
you know with with the god who
i know loves me but also loves everyone
else but the god whom i also love so
even now if i if i read the messages
from the book i'll open up the book and
just you know pick one at random and
there's a lot of tears involved because
i think people are suffering so much
from feeling lack of love from feeling
lost and alone and isolated and
all the stress of the world and to know
that there's a god who really
is with them all the time
and loves them
individually
is incredible so
you know i started exploring the concept
of what it means if we say that god is
omnipresent
that to me is a radical notion
and we talk about it you know god is
omniscient omnipotent in the present but
let's stop it omnipresent that means
that god is present
every micro second of every day and
night a microsecond is a millionth of a
second
well even that's too too long of a
period god is present in between the
microseconds
between the thoughts yeah right right
infinitely
you know
you can't even find a spot where god
isn't present
and so
for me the divine writing communion
sessions are
timeless and and and so refreshing
because
you know i i
i really feel like god is leading all of
us to become a what i call a being of
love or perhaps what god called a being
of love you know we're human beings but
we're not just cold calculating machines
we're not just intellectual what is our
true our true nature
for me our true nature is to become a
being of love and i feel like god is
leading all of us in the divine writing
sessions that you describe your
experience and
i experience
they're priceless
to me yeah i've had i've had other
people on the show and one one guy um
and i'm i'm cool with these terms just
because
um
it just adds to the vocabulary it adds
to how big god really is but but using
the term channeling
you know channeling so i i have
channelers on here you know and and i
can't tell you that i'm 100 sold or or
even if it's good you know there's a lot
of questions right and i think that's
good you know just to question things um
but when it comes to channeling as
something that
we can do
as being fearfully and wonderfully made
and there's many levels to us and uh
when it comes to channeling channeling
jesus
channeling god's heart
you know channeling
what god would say father what would you
say to these people tell them this okay
you know versus channeling a disembodied
spirit or an angel or whatever um
there's something special i think and uh
would you call it channeling in a sense
is that a word that's interchangeable
i don't know if i would call it
channeling i don't i know exactly what
you mean by that
um you're kind of do it for
a conduit expression yeah
i i would i
i believe that that
first of all we're communicating with a
real personality of god
so it's a conversation
at the same time for example when i sit
down to write i write short stories etc
or when i give a speech to someone i
always pray
you know dear beloved not my words but
your words not my love but your love
and
pray that that god will speak through me
and as you said as me
and in that sense yes we're a conduit
we're a channel for god's love and god's
god's essence and i think every human is
created to be like that
i started to think about whether i
wanted to try to communicate with other
human beings in the spirit world for
example and i've done it a little bit
and a little bit of it is in the book
but i've basically
tried to focus on
just god because i feel personally that
that's what i need more than anything
else
and god is actually
the one that i trust more than anyone
else
i could talk to you know we could try to
talk to abraham lincoln in the spirit
world well first of all is it really
abraham lincoln yeah and and b
is abraham does abraham lincoln have
anything to say
more important than god might say to us
yeah and of course i respect abraham
lincoln but yeah
i want to yeah i want i want to learn
from god
directly and jesus of course yeah i'm
with you
um
it's like uh you know is that really
abraham lincoln like you just said um
is it all god
is it all just different
personifications of there's something
when we give something a name
we personify it already because as
you're saying you know i want to channel
abraham lincoln
it's different when you know
who abraham lincoln is what he stood for
even your version of abraham lincoln
because i believe that there's people
let's just throw that out the window god
your version of god your version of
christ and who he is there's there's
many sects of christians who
who would
so-called channel uh god uh by trying to
be his mouthpiece on the earth but they
have a very different
view there's a uh god is mad god is fed
up with the sins of humanity and i'm
gonna be his mouthpiece and let you know
so
this idea of channeling this one loving
god
is different
because the persona that you've given
god he is a he's a wrathful god it is a
fearful thing uh to to fall in the hands
of an angry god and and and god is upset
with the sins of the people so when you
get people
leading
is at prayer
leading that art creativity
i will say there's not much art and
creativity in that but there is
protest there is street preaching there
is i need to correct you
versus love you you know what i'm saying
so
when we preface
a channel or what
anyone
means it is in in the beauty in the eye
of the beholder
or the wrath in the eye of the beholder
you know um
so
that's interesting to know that first of
all in a sense of it like everything is
god right if he is everywhere there's at
least a piece of him and everything
um
so
that abraham lincoln
might not be
abraham lincoln it may be that abraham
lincoln that you are familiar with you
know
if it's if it's even a piece of it at
all it's a memory of abraham lincoln is
what i feel abraham lincoln might say in
in my core
or what i feel god would say in my core
you know um what do you think about that
i mean that's something
interesting to explore this uh this
notion that it in a sense it's it's
biased
even though you don't want it to be you
as the seeker are open for the
information and and open for whoever to
speak through you as a medium or a
channel would but
um a lot of times it's biased if we have
an idea
or we're familiar with the character if
you will
yes
well that's that's
critically important and even in the
bible you'll see the you know the the
prophets of old were you know
fire and brimstone a little bit um
i i have an essay at the uh at the back
of the book is there a god and what is
god like exploring the evidence of love
and
i think i i like the artist
uh creation model in Romans 1 20 it
talks about the fact that the evidence
of god is is right in front of us yeah
yeah for sure and
and
yes it's a huge dilemma in religion that
so many religious people have a
different view of god
i personally believe therefore that it
behooves human beings everywhere
to seek for a universal
truth about the intelligent creator of
the universe by looking at the universe
by looking at the evidence of the
universe
and
in in that essay i
i talked about
what can we learn from the created
beings of the universe well you can look
at a shark and say that oh if god
created that shark
god must be ruthless yeah but well
outside my office window i have a bird
feeder the chipmunks come every day
and some of the chipmunks will eat out
of my hand
and they're cute as a button
and if god created those chipmunks what
does that say about god god's nature
god's personality you know if god
created everything
then
you know human beings we have free will
so it gets complicated because we can do
we can commit evil deeds but if you just
look at nature to me that's um
that's evidence of love
and so
the conclusion that i reached by
exploring that
Romans 120 kind of artist artist
creation model is
that the evidence of the universe shows
that
god
is a loving god
when we look at
even though we have free will when we
look at the human
family for example when a baby is born
and the mother is loving that baby when
the father is loving that baby when the
baby is looking up with these eyes of
love at the parents
we can see an essence of love in
humanity that is incredible
and
when we
you know it gets very complicated
because of free will because humans have
a choice and they can be selfish and
horrible and cruel and
monstrous
but to me when you look at the beauty of
humanity removing the fact that there's
been departures from that beauty
you look at listen to a symphony of or a
musical piece that is glorious
i just think that
the evidence is overwhelming that god is
actually a personal god of love and it
goes beyond doctrine i think that i
think that jesus would would agree
that yes of course god loves every
person god wants to live with every
person
and if we if we
it's not so much of a doctrinal issue as
it is can we assess reality in a
different way yeah
yeah um
you know you have to have a contrast
though you know for us to
be able to tell what good is
like you need to know what bad is you
you need to have experienced it
you know it says that those who sat in
darkness beheld a marvelous light
if you're just in the light
born in the light you've never
experienced any
any trials or tribulations or or any
darkness you you won't have this you
won't be able to see the contrast of
what it is to be in darkness and oh
that's the light
you know um it's one of those things
where again in in the contrast of like
you know friendship
like you really won't value a good
friend unless you've had a bad friend
you know you've had people who lied to
you your whole life and then now you got
somebody who tells you the truth you
know so
there's a beauty within the contrast and
honestly you know i see it all as god
right he's in it all he is in the shark
you know but there's a contrast don't
jump in the water with the shark you
know stay on land you know get a boat
you know so there's some wisdom there's
yeah wisdom and there's nuance in in how
to
navigate through this and i think um
you know i and i still see god at this
point now i see
i see the beauty
in
in wrath if you will
in judgment you know in in
um
correction
you know in uh course correction you
know like i'm gonna let you you know i'm
gonna give you over to your enemies if
you choose a life of debauchery and
drugs
hey that's what you need to just to go
to to see that
i'm good if that's what it takes and and
that's many people's story um that they
get lost in that stuff and and then they
get encountered with with the goodness
of god so again there's the contrast
there um
and we all have it
yeah and i'm um
i'm thankful for it
you know to think that everyone
would would see god the same way that
that we do you know i know we want him
to and we want them to experience
the love of god and i that is my prayer
right because if god is so big and he's
in everything you're only experiencing
that facet
you know then you can what i like to
talk about holding a a
magnifying glass up to that facet and
just kind of like going in and the
layers in the layers like you're talking
about the omnipresence and just going
deeper and deeper
into this one facet
you know versus let's spin it you know
like a diamond when light hits it and
reflects there's many facets and many
shades
of that light but but it's all god
so
um i i find beauty in that you know i
talk to a lot of people who just
you know they want um
i guess they want everybody to see god
the way that that they do but
um i don't know if that's even possible
you know like there's certain nuances or
certain prayers that there's certain
life experiences
that it could be similar
very similar right because i think these
are universal principles for everybody
and everybody can experience it but it's
like the concoction
the concoction of okay
i know that
you know the scripture says that god is
a father unto the fatherless
and
if i feel like there's a there's a
blessing in it for you if you if you
grew up without a father you know that
was me and god literally i could look
back at my life and god stepped into my
life and became a father to me you know
that inner dialogue of things that a
father would a conversation that a
father would have with his child and and
and looking at things the father should
have taught me that they didn't
so like god kind of took me under his
wing and and showed me just you know how
to be a man and little things that i was
missing i felt like there was a there
was a i got i got to know him in that
way because of that um
on top of all these other ways right
but it's privy
to my experience and and everything
together but i thought i think that's
special
that uh that god because god's
personable right versus like nope he's
only this
only these prayers
only these scriptures you know kind of
thing you know
well i think you're highlighting
something incredibly important which is
that god is personal to everyone
and and the way i
i've explored this for a long time and i
really believe
sincerely that
you know if we look at each each human
being
we're all different
and we're all created by god
so
if that is true then it would mean it
the
if the artist creation model
takes the view that an artist can't
create something that the artist doesn't
know anything about
if god didn't know what could be in a
shark
then the shark wouldn't be able to be
created by god
so if god created you and god created me
then god has
i
i don't believe that god is you know
more than one i think that god is just
one god
but i believe that god's personality is
so
infinitely huge
that just the way a a like a a mother
might
relate to each child slightly
differently
that the
i believe that god is
has imbued each of us with one
particular you might say particle
of god's essence
like the essence of god that that makes
up truth seeker or the essence of god
the the point or the particle of god
that makes up me or you or anyone
is unique to us
so i really think that we can we can
communicate
with the corresponding part of god that
corresponds to us yeah so that we can
relate to the god that that only we know
because god is
god god didn't create two of us we're
you know we're not clones
so we have a very unique relationship
with our personal god
within that broad context of you know
god as a god of love etc
but
just the way a child might relate to a
father or a mother you know i have four
children each one of them relate to my
wife and i differently and we relate to
them differently it's very
it's very personal it's very sacred it's
very private and
and no one can interfere with that
relationship yeah so i guess we fall
into
you know the
the problem when we have these personal
relationships with god and
personal
revelations of god that that we try to
force on other other people
you know and i've um
i found that
you know early on where
many many christians in my circle early
on they would have like uh a divine
revelation or god would impress
something on their heart
that they needed to do it was usually a
conviction hey i need you to usually
stop doing something i need you to stop
doing this i need you to quit listening
to this type of music i need you to quit
you know going to this type of church it
was usually something personal right
like you said but then you know
that message telepathically you know
impressed on their heart whatever
god told me this and and then they try
to create it as a law for everyone
right you know that hey god doesn't want
anyone
going to this church god doesn't want
anyone listening to this music
and um and i'm sure i've been there as
well you know
feeling really strong of being god's
mouthpiece and saying you know
there's no scriptural basis or whatever
really for it because
you know this style of music is not in
the bible or whatever but um right but
it's a personal conviction that we we
tend to push on everybody and um people
fall in into a lot of
troubles there and it ends up like um
making it
um
you end up separating yourselves
and um and you're the only one seeking
god
this way
because god told you to do it and you're
the only one around you that is obedient
to quit listening to that music everyone
else is still enjoying it or eating that
food
you know that all of that comes into
play have you experienced any of that
personally or or from your peers oh
oh yes and we have to be careful of
hubris
that god is speaking to me yes
not to you it's the messiah complex is
what we call the messiah
can i read you a quote
in
i uh quoted a an author named david
spangler
who was involved in the finton community
in scotland
and he wrote a book called apprentice to
spirit the education of a soul
and i don't necessarily agree with
everything he wrote but i really liked
what he wrote here
he was he was communicating with a
spiritual entity that he called john
and that entity told david spangler
your job as a teacher
is to liberate and to bless
no one should be bound to you or because
of you
our work together is to help people be
themselves in deeper and sacred ways
for this
freedom is essential
freedom is the gift of a loving mind
and i really think that
that is critical no one i believe no one
can be closer to a person than god
no one can guide a person more
intimately than god
now given the fact that many people have
different views of god it gets kind of
dicey but if we adopt the
fundamental christian v view of ethics
and virtue on selfishness and charity
and you know all the virtues that
are talked about if we use that as the
ethical underpinning of goodness
then in between all those things
each person has their own relationship
with god and no one not a preacher not
anyone should interfere with that
um
you know
and obviously you got the you got that
from the scripture and i and i have to i
have to
hate i hate even using this term because
a lot of a lot of people don't
understand it but play the devil's
advocate right we have to kind of look
at both sides and they say oh you're
watching for the devil like i've read
some of those comments lately no no
that's not what that means because
looking at both sides well what if not
that i believe it or i want it to be
true
but it helps for dialogue into you know
exploration like you say and so
um
you got that
you know the virtues the good the
goodness of god and the but the bible is
full of it you know but i think the
bible is full of those you know we
talked about a lot in the old testament
this wrathful i'm going to get you
uh i'm and and many people have a a view
of god that he's just only up there
correcting like there is no
there is no relationship god can never
be your friend because he's too big how
dare you make an idol out of god and
bring him down to your level and only
pick and choose the things that you want
to be true for god i mean many many of
our friends who are in in this more
wrathful tradition and you know
preaching repentance from the street
corners these guys which i love and i
think they're part of the body as well
they have a different view you know and
how dare you bring god down to your
level and they would call it idolatry
because we we almost get to pick and
choose and obviously you know we would
want to in a perfect world pick all of
the good attributes of god
you know and get to experience that and
um
but i think i think you know
the correction
aspects of god are good good as well
like i was saying the uh causing cause
and effect and and
you know god disciplines those in which
he loves and it's only a a you know a
bastard child that that doesn't receive
correction from from a parent you know
that they don't really care about you if
they're just letting you do whatever you
want
um
the notion of you know many people would
say that
what you've explained and what i've
explained which i'm with you they would
say that hey that's not
you're you're picking and choosing
and and you can't do that you know
you're only picking this loving god not
the god who is you know
mad at sin and he is judging the wicked
and sending people to hell and you know
all that kind of stuff like you can't
have one without the other what would
your what would your um
your uh conversation be be to that
well i think
i think that um
if we talk about god wanting to correct
people and guide people on the right
path
what
would we assume that god wants people
what path does god want people to follow
i would say
based on the morals and precepts of
jesus
it would be a good path
love your enemy
charity unselfishness kindness
truthfulness integrity honor all the
virtues we want to go that path god is
i think it's it's clear that
that if we go that path we flourish we
become better people we might even
become growing to become a being of love
more and more and more
the concept of god punishing and sending
to hell
i personally believe that god like in
divine writing comedian
god might say you know
that's not the right thing to do
and so we listen
but if people aren't listening if people
are following an immoral path
then i don't actually believe god sends
them to hell i believe that they
separate from god by their voice
and by their separation they enter
a stage of hell
separation is hell yeah
you know if if i'm
you know just out there hating people
and committing acts of violence and and
and have a dark mind
i don't need god to send me to hell i
just sent myself to hell yeah
and it remember from that point of view
god is still there with me if god is
omnipresent then it means god is still
with me in that hell
trying to steer me back
it's not so much that you know i'm gonna
condemn you uh god's saying to people
because you're so awful you know it's
much more to me like god is always with
us like like when you sit on a
this should never have happened anytime
in the history of automobiles but can
you imagine a a parent putting a little
child on his lap and steering the wheel
as he sits in the in the in the driveway
and saying okay little johnny we're
driving the car together well if you can
imagine that
we're we're
driving our own car with our free will
but god is never separate from that
process always with us
always trying to steer us toward
goodness and love
and when we don't do that
god looks at us
being with us feeling sad heartbroken
and tries to bring us back
that's what i think yeah
no i'm i'm with you and uh and i do like
how you kind of uh
brought the
the idea of an eternal hell into a
moment
you know um i think that when we do uh
look at the old testament it was a you
know hell
it was a state of a state of
consciousness or whatever where i feel
separated from god you know king david
even you know most of those things that
you just said you just spoke he he
said in the psalms and things you know
take not your holy spirit from me uh you
know not not to be separate from god but
it changes things when we bring it into
the now versus again this idea of an
eternal punishment like hold on
now because that's like you got to pay
for it later versus the repercussions
are now
like there's certain uh you know
lifestyles that you can live and things
that you do and and usually it's going
against what what christ said right
choosing a path of selfishness and
service to self or whatever instead of
love anything opposite of love and the
greater good um you begin to create an
atmosphere around you that is torment
that is
separateness in even in your own mind
because i don't think you actually do
anything it says you know the bible says
we become enemies of god in our own mind
it's just when you make your mind up to
do something and you know that at least
according to your conscience you're
making a bad decision and you're saying
okay i'm i'm willing to
you know step across that threshold of a
bad decision
in that i'm i'm welcoming the
repercussions into my life when you when
you choose to do that and to look at it
in
a a place where
it happens now
like if we're in the kingdom now and the
kingdom is within you and it's around
you and it's a part of you
anything outside of that
leads to hell it leads to uh
separatism even in your own mind
right that we create we create hell
immediately
to a degree yeah we don't have to wait
to go to hell we're already in hell we
just have a physical body so we don't
notice it we might be surrounded with
gold and you know alcohol and and yeah
ten babes by the pool
yeah but you know we're already in hell
yeah we're just we just can't we don't
notice it because of all the glitz
do you think that some of the hard
you know sayings of jesus was was really
talking about that like
because you know i don't know if it's
through translation or whatever but a
lot of times we you know
most christians believe in eternal
punishment right and jesus there were
some weird sayings that he had and and
people are starting to get clear on that
that it wasn't about eternal punishment
but he was talking about something do
you think he was talking about the now
moment and hey do whatever you can to to
stay on this this narrow gate of love
and and unselfishness and things you
think he was
making it personal versus like hey in a
thousand years you're gonna burn and
that kind of stuff you think it was more
immediate i mean
you know there's controversy about the
books of the bible the you know the uh
you know whether there were
extra books that should have been
included or whatever the gnostic gospels
or whatever
i think that jesus example showed very
clearly that he he wanted every single
person to follow a path of love
and
you know many people do believe in
eternal hell
but
it's the 21st century there's a lot of
knowledge
we're incredibly um you know we have
intellectual power we can think we can
rationally decipher things
i think if we if we look at god
with
not just love or or belief but logic
also if god is omnipresent
and god created everything in the
universe
if there was no other creator
there was not there wasn't a second
creator like you know the devil that
created hell but if god creates
everything
then that means and if god is
omnipresent with every person then that
means that if a person lives in a hell
in the spirit world and i i do believe
that in the spirit world there are
realms that are hellish
but i don't believe that god
sends people there as an eternal
punishment because a god is omnipresent
with that person why would god why would
god want to live there with that person
yeah instead i think that that person
when the person loses their physical
body and moves to the spirit world their
own darkness
attaches them to an environment sends
them to an environment that
matches their own
spiritual state of being
and
when they change i i believe that
everyone can change everyone can repent
at any time so if a person
there are testimonies of people who
received um well in near-death
experiences and things like that people
would see hell but
i really believe that god can save
everyone so that it's not a judgment
like i
think about a a human parent a mother or
father
oh their child committed a crime i'm
going to send you to prison forever
eternity get out of here that's not a
loving parent
a loving parent is come on back
and and then
wait for the child to respond so in hell
if someone responds
a little bit
maybe they move up a degree and then
finally they can move up more and
finally they can be
fully liberated
i mean
that's a bunch of people i know yeah and
i know we're talking about that in hell
but i mean that's kind of that's what
happens here you know it's like
when you choose right when you choose
make the right decisions to get
if you want to say the sin out of your
life right that which doesn't serve you
that which is hurting you get it out of
your life i don't care what it is if
it's your diet if it's your friends if
it's your
addictions whatever get the things that
are killing you out of your life and so
that is
that that is to repent to turn from the
things that are killing you
um
so yeah it's very it makes it practical
versus again waiting on a judgment
you're being judged every moment bring
it into the now moment and say okay
anything that's not serving me i want to
let go of it i want to examine myself
which the bible is
full of
you know ways to do and make sure that
i'm in the faith and make sure that
there's nothing
that i'm
you know opening up for any oppression
you know demonic if you will or whatever
there's things in our lives that open up
doors to that kind of life that we get
to to choose here
um versus eternity so bringing it into
the now i think is is very powerful
you know um
they call it all of the turtles now
that's all we have is the now even if
there is a hell and you go there you're
only going to be there in in that now
moment that's not you're not there now
are you like no you still have time you
still have breath and and life and
energy to get it right to make an impact
and uh to experience this beautiful life
that i think god wants you
to to experience in this realm so
um absolutely can you share some of the
uh some of the messages i know we're
almost an hour in we haven't really
gotten to too many of the the messages
that you guys i want to hear a couple of
them
well i i thought about which one and um
i like the first one especially because
um
it's short it's only uh
just about a page
and
it was it wasn't the first one that i
that i uh received
but uh i titled it the god who is always
with us which is you know part of the
subtitle of the book
and i can't remember the date of this
but anyway
this is the message that i received from
god
the more you become aware that i am that
i am made of love and with that love i
am inhabiting you living with you and as
you and also surrounding you with my
embrace
the more you become aware of my presence
of love then the more you will be able
to be love
you will grow into a being of love
expressing love with every breath
thinking and feeling love in every
moment
your your nature that i created is to be
love
to live as a being of love
because you lost your awareness of my
loving presence you have lived
separately from me even though i have
never left your soul or thoughts or
emotions or body i have never left you
ever even though you constantly forgot
about me
it is sad that you forgot but i
understand why you could not maintain
your awareness
what is not sad is that i never stopped
embracing you and cradling you in my
arms even in your most desperate moments
you could not feel my cheek against
yours you could not sense my kiss and
embrace and an
all-encompassing presence but i was and
am
always with you
think about this think about the reality
that i am all of you think about what
that really means i am everywhere and in
everything
everything is part of my energy and my
thoughts
my soul encompasses every particle and
molecule every stone and plant
every animal and every human
that means that i dwell in your soul
but i also dwell in every cell of your
body
in your fingers and eyes and lips and
your bones and your organs in your skin
in your veins and in your blood i am all
of you your spiritual energy body and
the energetic patterns that form your
thoughts
your thoughts are free to roam and
become either noble or confused but my
energy and presence travel with them
watching them and experiencing them with
you
setting humans free was an enormous risk
and it has caused
devastating pain to humans to the earth
and to me
but think of this i never left any part
of you
even though observing your harmful
thoughts and acts was heart-stoppingly
sad
it's hard to understand i am sure but if
you accept that all energy is part of
the creator
then my infinite and omnipresent embrace
is the inescapable conclusion
that is love the love that can never
leave your side
yes every moment you can cry out to me
you are here
i am indeed here with you and with
everyone why because i am love i am made
of love and since i am all of you you
too
are made of love
every particle of your being is made of
love
thus you are indeed a being of love a
being that is maturing into full
resonance with my omnipresent love
no matter how long it takes you will
become a fully developed being of love
living with me every micro second of
every day
how exciting that is that is reason to
be joyful and enthusiastic and
overflowing with hope
i am here and i am bracing you now
wow
that's powerful
their reflections their their
wisdom and words from god you know um
it seems like a devotional too you know
like some type of
devotional like dude is it is it written
in such a way where it could be a
devotional just to to
like to meditate upon each each each of
those messages
oh absolutely the the book is uh the
middle of the book is
it each each message is you know usually
just one page or less
a page and a half perhaps
and and
the titles of the messages are in the
table of contents in the front
so you can i i often will just open a
book a page at random
and read it and
i'm immediately moved and refreshed
because these are not my words in my
opinion
i truly do not want to
you know own those words those are not
my words those those are from
i believe from god
it's beautiful i mean you're sharing
these timeless truths and
like
i don't that
there's nothing you can say against it
like as far as
it's what we need
you know we we need
reminders
you know we need reminders we need we
need to to know that uh that we're not
alone
that we are again all of those all of
those tenants if you will or
or
um
facts if you will you know that the
christian faith brings to the table the
god of love
the god of of life and and and not just
that as a theory you know i think most
people
you know who haven't like encountered it
on that personal level it's just a
theory oh yeah god is love yeah i hear
you guys say that but you really step
into
a loving relationship that is a song and
dance again you're talking about
receiving messages from the creator and
that would mean that they would be
uh
personal you know personal uh messages
that that people would receive right
that's right awesome
and so
as you're getting these messages i've
gotten these messages and you you mean
you're talking about how like
we're not promoting a messiah complex
and
you know uh of saying that you're you're
you are only privy
to getting these types of messages like
if somebody wants to step into that in
their devotional right in in their
places like hey i want god to speak to
me
you know how how how would they go about
um
you know i'm saying stepping into that
well it's very easy and i have the
second essay the book talks about the
divine writing message process but
if someone just sits down
with a piece of paper and a pen
or a computer with a document
and just prays and the way i do it is
i'll just pray you know dear beloved i
offer you this divine right in communion
with all to you with all my love and
with all my embrace is there anything
that you would like to say to me now
and then i i might type a few words or
write a few words of you know questions
and then i stop
and listen
and
nine times out of ten
something comes to my mind that i don't
feel is from me it's not me just making
it up it's something that i'm receiving
now
anyone intellectually could say well how
do you know that scott well
you don't know but how do we we we have
faith we have love we have a sense of
thing
etc but beyond if one assumes that god
exists
and if one assumes that god can speak to
everyone then it's a simple process of
just sitting down and praying a pad of
paper and a pencil or a pen or a
computer and just ask
and wait to wait to hear the response
and write it down
and if you're if you're honest with
yourself and you know yourself and it's
something that you are just opening
yourself up to encounter
you know what it's like in your mind to
try to look for an answer
okay what would god say and to really to
try to think about it or find it oh yeah
the bible says he would say this and you
know and maybe get some stuff that you
come up with intellectually
versus okay i'm gonna
empty my mind out i'm gonna just open
open it to god for god to speak to me if
he does such a thing i've heard that he
does i was told to do this i'm going to
try it and you know what it is to clear
your mind
to ask the question
and then from the place of nothingness
comes
an overwhelming
sensation
of an answer that i need to write down
right so you know that you're proven
yeah we need to prove to ourselves right
that hold on this is something this is
profound like
i can
maybe try to think of this stuff and and
maybe if i'm good enough i can come up
with something similar but there's no
spirit connected to it there is no um
this is what the divine would say
in this hour kind of thing well
there's to me there are three choices
one
it's just me making it all up
or two i'm hearing some
evil spirit tricking me
or three it's god talking to me so then
the question is
if god created the entire universe and
created all of us is god capable
of speaking to each human being through
their mind telepathically
is that something that god is able to do
is allowed to do and might want to do
and i would say yes yes yes of course
so then if we focus our own prayer on on
on
the virtues of humility and test
everything with the fruits of the spirit
and we get a message that says you
should go out and shoot up the shopping
mall well i'm sorry that's not from god
yeah so there is there's a certain
amount of discernment that we have to
have or i'm sorry that was just me
interfering with the divine writing
communion so yes we have to pray we have
to be humble we have to be
totally invisible in my opinion god just
tell me not my words
like that was the the prayer of jesus
like exactly when he would pray and live
his life like if there was this i only
do what i see the father doing
not my will but yours well it has to
have to be two different he had to be
aware of his will
right what of what he would say of his
opinion
versus you know what
i have an opinion i'm gonna keep it to
myself
right god would say this
love one another you know those kind of
things and you really to be self-aware
that's a big part of it to know that
hold on there's a part of me that has an
opinion i think the apostle paul even
would preface some of his opinion at
times but to be aware that it is there
right
right to know that you have to you have
to know that it's there to know when
it's not i would say right but the big
question is really
can god speak to each of us yeah
i don't think that's being taught
clearly in all the churches but i think
that human beings are suffering because
of it
i really truly believe that god wants to
have a passionate
a loving embrace relationship with every
single human and every single human
needs to realize
i can have that
god is there for me
yeah
yeah that's huge and uh it changes the
game
because when you when god becomes
personal and you have that idea of a
personal relationship
with god with jesus you know so um
that's awesome i want to let everybody
know uh the phone lines are open if
anybody has any questions or comments
and would like to be a part of the show
the phone number is
515-605-9776 if anybody has any anything
they would like to add or have any
questions make sure you take advantage
of the phone lines uh and and i'm just
reading some of the comments here flying
penguins
martin says usually the inner voice that
speaks
negatively or is an accuser to yourself
is not god i find that god's voice
internally speaks with a far greater
love towards me than others so again
like
the message what is what is the message
and so you would you would judge all
things as jesus says according to the
fruit
what is the fruit of said voice
right is it of love is it a and we you
know the fruits of the spirit you know
that's his his nature
uh that is uh you know when we spend
time with him we begin to
change our nature into his and and adapt
that higher nature heavenly nature if
you will of the fruits of the spirit
love joy peace patience kindness
gentleness self-control
against such there is no law you know
well you know when i um first watched
one of your podcasts
i didn't know much about you but i read
a little about a little bit about your
history of how you came to god
but when i watched one of your podcasts
there was one thing i noted about you
which made me want to come on your
podcast
and that is that you have a gleam in
your eye
you have the the gleam of love the gleam
there's a light there's a light right
there in front of me it's making the
shine
and he said he said humbly
it's just the light shining right there
but you know when we see when we see
people
sometimes they have a gleam in their eye
and sometimes their eyes are just
suffering
so i i was really i was really inspired
to see that gleam in your eye yeah and
um
you know we know one another according
to that there's
and it is a gleam it is a countenance it
is a smile you know it's it's you
identify
a persona
you know what kind of person this is by
let me just listen to them talk long
enough
you know and obviously with the imagery
and my intro and all of the different
stuff we cover most people are like you
know at least religious people they kind
of get scared and it's not until they
they listen to an episode and like oh
wow like i thought you were this and
then now that i listen
you know
i i see what you're trying to do i see
the the people that you're reaching in
and that kind of uh talk as well but
we you know we we we can find the others
because we you know if it is a gleam in
the eye it is a similar pursuit
for god for spirituality for
um
for that which is good
well the eyes are the window to the soul
right exactly exactly
yeah so well i'm glad that uh that we
had this conversation i've really
enjoyed it and um i wanna i'm gonna link
your your book and you have a couple
books
um that you have available too and i
know that they would
you know we could explore those i mean
i'd love to have you back on and and
explore some of the other concepts that
you bring to the table as well but
the book that we're talking about today
is the mystical love of god divine
writing messages from the god who is
always with us and that can be found on
amazon we'll link it
in the description and um
and yesterday
people can go to the website
mysticalloveofgod.com
and there's a then on that pages there's
a link to the amazon links which you
know amazon links are all
complicated so i made a simple one yeah
mysticalglobalgod.com great
awesome uh you can guys can get the book
make sure you you you know you meditate
on these things and uh
once you get it
make sure you leave a review and all
that helps yeah push push it up the
ranks and algorithms and stuff like that
what more do we need right now like
we're like what what book do we need you
know what i'm saying as far as
um writing and what does the world need
the world needs a divine revelation
of the mystical love of god i i'm 100
convinced
um peter thanks for coming on the show
um thank you very much is there any
anything else that that you're working
on right now are there any other books
do you do you have any circles or
anything that that you do with community
what are you working on right now
well i i i
i've written three books so far and the
other one is called waking up dead and
confused is a terrible thing it's a book
of short stories it's on my author page
at amazon
and uh
um the next the book i'm working on
right now is called the living compass
of kindness and compassionate love it's
it's a book of essays
about spiritual life and and you know
spiritual living very much in the vein
of of the essays that are in the in the
book mystical love of god
i'm uh working on starting uh spiritual
life coaching uh
at that website mystical love of god i
haven't made it go live yet but
i agree with you the world the world
needs
um to get in touch with god's mystic
love because we're such a
a broken and burdened world but i
believe we can be healed yeah
yeah um
what does this scripture say hope
deferred makes the the heart
heart sick
makes the heart sick yeah we need hope
and there is a hope and that is uh it is
it seems few and far between you know
the more time we spend on social media
and watching the news these days it is
very
uh easy to be robbed and and
have your joy taken from you if you look
at circumstances situation right now but
to know that that that we have a hope no
matter what we go through regardless of
a situation or circumstance there there
is a hope that we have
and uh and that hope is is in christ i
believe and uh in that personal
revelation and relationship that
everyone
uh can have and and stir up and engage
and
listen
these talks in these books and all of
this is beautiful but you it is the call
to the secret place for you to engage
yourself and everyone can do that peter
thanks so much for coming on really
enjoyed this brother thank you so much
thank you very much all right many
blessings brother shalom all right
amen
peter falkenberg brown ladies and
gentlemen
ah
such a good talk man
the world needs a divine revelation
of the mystical love of god
um
and let's say the world right we're
making it uh something
bigger for a lot of people but
we all need that
we all need a personal
revelation of the mystical love of god
what does that mean
how do we uh
how do we engage it how do we embrace it
how hard is it
you know um
with with spirituality and and uh in
mysticism and in in doctrine and
the occult and
just
you know social media and the
information age like
we really can can muddy the waters
really quick we can over complicate
things really quick
and uh and make it hard and make it
about formulas
you know make it about
um
other things
which i think that all of that stuff is
good everything has its place
but
when it when it takes away from the
simplicity
of
i would say the gospel you know which is
this which is the good news
is that you are loved you are beloved
that god is for you not against you um
that's the the story that is written in
the cosmos listen it becomes simple
in anything that we do to complicate it
we're only hurting ourselves
so what is that that is the pursuit
and around
the things of god the things of
of the spirit which um
you know can be
complicated
you know which can be hard which does
reveal itself in formulas and if you do
this or if you pray this way or if you
do this and do that so it's not
it's not to belittle any of that but it
is to
make sure that we are holding on to the
simplicity
of a prayer
the simplicity of a simple meditation
of closing your eyes and encountering
the divine listen as simple as picking
up the scriptures
reading
god's word like it's simple
don't over complicate it keep it simple
the world is trying to rob you of that
precious simplicity that it is
your
connection to the creator
with with what with questions with
formulas
um
do's and don'ts and things that are
outside of yourself
quickly
over complicating things
you know and and so
you know maybe i'm
um you know guilty of that i obviously
am
whether i over complicate it or
um i over complicate it for myself
and that's all that i can i can be
mindful and be aware of is is sharing
from you know out of the abundance of my
heart and and i know that i've i've over
complicated it for myself so obviously
i've over complicated it for others if
we're being open and honest and just
sharing
our experiences um
you know i even talk about it in my
music i'm lost
within the mystery the mysteries are so
deep and it's almost like you're
drowning within the mystery of god but
then
we're found within simplicity the the
simplicity of
of those precepts of of the fruit of god
as far as love joy peace and patience
and
and the encounter which is simple
you know it's not formulaic
it's not hard it doesn't take days it
doesn't take
you know it's in a it's in in a moment
it's a it's a divine suddenly it's in
it's in an instant
that we can encounter
god's presence
and it's more mystical
than anything else
it is separate it is different so it's
not again not to belittle
the mysticism not to belittle
the wisdom and spirituality within a
mushroom
within a a long deep meditation within a
a five-day fast you know within
whatever it is
it's not to belittle that
but it's to know of how simple it is you
got to bring it
to the now moment
you have to bring it to the now
so in those contemplations in the
mystery
and how deep god really is
in everything
it is about being mindful
being present within the moment
it's in the pursuit it's not in it's in
the journey it's not in the the end goal
it is in the now
and and so i encourage you to do things
to bring
the awareness of god
of his spirit
of love into the now
and obviously there's so many things i
really do think that mysticism and and
and much of the occult and and
studying and all of that stuff helps us
to do that at least helps us to
personify it at least helps us to uh
intellectually uh explore spiritually
explore the things of god and really how
how deep
the love of god goes how deep the rabbit
hole goes
and that is part of the the pursuit
just continue to stir yourself up
to be to continue to see god within
the minutia
of everything that we've been talking
about of in everything that we're going
to talk about
you know and not to see see yourself or
god as separate from
anything
but to hold on to
the spirit no matter what you do no
matter where you go listen that is the
god who says
i will never leave you i will never
forsake you i'm with you on your pursuit
listen i'm putting these pursuits in you
i've created you fearfully and
wonderfully made
pursue those things
all the while pursuing god
never give up never put your hand to the
plow and look back
but just keep moving forward keep your
eyes on the prize
only in that
will you have the liberty to explore
only in that will you have the liberty
to never be lost
to never be forsaken
to always have your head above water
as you explore the depths
you know it said joseph campbell says
that
this mystery
is the same place that
the schizophrenic
the person who is divided in their mind
a double-minded man if you will which is
unstable in all all of his ways this
same water
is what the schizophrenic or the
double-minded man
the water that he drowns
is the same water
that the mystic swims with delight
the same mystery
the same notion
to be able to tread that water
and keep your head
above
above the tide
you got to bring it into the now moment
you have to know that you are
you are loved
that you are a part of
this song and dance with the divine
that god is in all and through all and
there's nowhere that you can go to get
away from them
listen we talked about that like what
what what is this this notion or concept
of hell at least in the old testament
like
Psalm 139 8 says
if i ascend up into heaven
thou art there if i make my bed in hell
behold
thou art there there's no where that you
can go to get away from this
overwhelming
never ending reckless love of god that
it is in all things
and it's up to you to be able to see it
you know most people can't
it is the mystic who is who has trained
their eye
to be able to see god and all if you
can't see god in all then you can't see
god at all
to be able to look at every every
situation and see god in it
and so now more than ever again do we
need that
the mystery
to be lost within it yes but to be found
in the simplicity
and this is something that you got to be
able to be in both of those at the same
time
so listen my prayer is is is for
everyone out there
that you would know god in this way that
you would that you would bring
your spirituality that you would bring
your your awareness
to the present moment
right now
because that's all you have
you only have this moment now
in this moment we're sharing together
you only have this this is on this is
all that you have you're not promised
tomorrow
you're not promised
you know right now um people are losing
family members
there's a you know this this plague or
this sickness or whatever is going on
is taking out a lot of people's loved
ones
a lot
where this pandemic or whatever you want
to call it is is very it's very scary it
is real
there's many people have different
different beliefs and
you watch documentaries and
opinions about what's going on and i'll
listen that's cool whatever
it doesn't
stop the fact or negate the fact that
something is happening and people are
hurting people are dying
so
what is the power in the now moment is
to enjoy
company
it is to enjoy your breath
it is to enjoy
this life
enjoy your family members enjoy your
enemies
enjoy everything
find the light in everything
can you do the mystic can do that for
sure like you have to contemplate and
you have to be able to see god in it all
you have to be thankful you have to you
have to approach everything with
gratitude
you have to
if not you could be lost in the sauce
man i'm telling you people are people
are hurting out there
um
you know we talked about the contrast
of of having something and then not
having it sitting in darkness and then
seeing the light
having fake friends and then having real
friends oh wow i really appreciate your
friendship why do you
how do you appreciate our friendship so
much listen the people that i was
running with
they were only here to use me
they were never my true friends
they only
showed up when they can get something
they only called me when they needed
something listen to have someone who
truly cares about me listen i am forever
grateful
you know there's that contrast having
something and then not having it
or knowing when it was there when you
used to have it and now you don't
anymore there's a contrast there to
bring that into all of your friendships
all of your relationships all of your
conversations people you don't have
people aren't with you always
you're not all you this life is a roller
coaster
there's valleys there's peaks
there's good there's bad it is part of
this experience this human experience
but the key is
cherish those moments
be mindful
and be present
in every
moment you know
we don't we take things for granted you
know and that's what we're not supposed
to do
supposed to hold on um
you know i can tell you that um
i didn't i don't know how much i
believed in in in the pandemic and all
of this stuff and
and i don't even know my uh
you know i don't even pretend to
to think i know what's happening where
it came from or what's going on
everything is speculation
there's so many different conflicting
beliefs in in people who who claim to
know what's happening and go what's
going on but that
that uh documentary that that idea that
notion is is is is trumped by another
documentary and another belief and
another explanation of what's happening
and there's conflicting beliefs and
there's conflicting
um
ways to deal with it there's conflicting
narratives
and i think rightfully so
i think it's i think that's by design
i think that that's by design i think
you can get lost in that
but i do know that um
that i couldn't breathe that i that i
had my my breath i had my breathing
and then i didn't
you know i experienced what they call
covet and
me and my wife and
and it's been we're about 15 16 days
into it and i'm not 100 better you know
um
i couldn't breathe it's scary to be able
to be able to lead breath work
to be able to
lead deep conscious connected breathing
and then to struggle for a breath
and then to have it
to be able to breathe in and feel bliss
feel his presence when i breathe listen
we teach it i practice it
and then to not be able to breathe
and then to be able to try to breathe
and it hurt to breathe
and to only be able to bring
shallow breathing in
and it hurt listen
thankful
for every breath
because most of us aren't going to be
mindful or thankful until it's gone you
know what i'm saying
so why you can
the minutia
see god experience god thank god
for for everything
just for another day again because
you're not promised tomorrow again many
people are are losing
loved ones many people are struggling
in my you know i'm i pray for healing
i'm going to pray for that now for those
of you listening who who are struggling
in your body for those of you who are
struggling in your mind with with fear
and anxiety
and uh uncertainty
and i just father i just pray that you
send forth your peace
to my friends right now whatever
whatever area in their life they need
peace
if it's in their mind
if it's in their physical body god i'm
just sending forth peace right now
your presence and your love
lord let them know right now that you
you have an overwhelming love for them
god give them a revelation of the
mystical love of god
just of how close and how ever present
you are in our time of need
for those who are struggling in their
body struggling with breathing
respiratory problems send forth peace
right now give them breath of life
in jesus mighty name god
thank you lord that you are the god that
healeth thee
thank you lord that we trust in you
increase our faith god increase our hope
give us peace
god for those who are have family
members who are struggling
we just ask for divine healing and a
divine touch in their lives
in their bodies in their mind and their
spirit lord it's family members that are
fighting
families are torn i'm hearing stories of
family members who won't
get on the same elevator together with
with people
because of conflicting beliefs of
vaccinations and and and anything that
we can think of that the enemy has used
to tear families apart
god i just pray for peace and
restoration in their hearts and their
families and in their minds
security in their spirit
god i pray that you give people the
right choices and in the right
things to do let them know with a with a
sure peace deep down within their spirit
not out of fear not out of doubt
but out of love
to be secure
god for those who have lost family
members in these last couple of weeks
and those who were have family members
on the verge god i'm just speak for for
healing in their hearts lord
and you would comfort those who mourn
god and comfort those who grieve
for those who aren't ventilators right
now god i just pray for for peace lord
that you strengthen their lungs god that
you clear out any
any any
blockages in the lungs any attack on the
lungs
in jesus mighty name right now heal them
god
heal them lord we thank you
god we are
wide-eyed and hopeful in this moment
help us to be peacemakers
we know that there's a blessing in it
for us
god you said blessed are the peacemakers
help us to fight for peace help us to
pursue peace
not to pursue quarrels or pursue to be
right or to win an argument but to
pursue
peace whatever we can do
to keep the peace
god give us a revelation of that
in jesus mighty name god i thank you i
thank you i thank you amen and amen
