so without further ado we're gonna go
ahead and jump into today's discussion
welcome my friend Scott Shea - the true
seeker podcast man how are you doing I
am doing great it's great to be with you
truth awesome and excited to get into
this conversation and and talk to you
about your book and the subject matter
thereof and so I guess for people who
don't know who you are
I don't really do formal introductions I
just kind of let the guest do it so just
let people know who you are what you
bring to the table and we'll get started
there man
sure well so I'm pretty complicated to
actually describe I'm a banker I started
a bank from scratch with two other
people
he called signature Bank and I've long
been in the business world but I've
written two books this is and and today
hopefully we'll talk about my second in
good faith questioning religion and
atheism
I'm the son of a Holocaust survivor and
that shaped my life in many profound
ways it through my father and through my
life experiences I've really learned
what idolatry is and what a huge danger
it is and I've learned why the Bible
came to be and why it's so important and
I've also learned a lot about faith and
anger and those are sort of the lessons
that that that I've devoted I devoted
five years of essentially all of my
discretionary free time writing and
thinking and I really I'm really
thrilled to share the things that I've
learned with as many people as possible
because I'm learning why the one thing I
have learned on book tour is the less
people know about the Bible the less
they like it that's good and I've
watched a lot of your interviews and
usually they only there's a lot of
people who only know like the bad stuff
or the scary stuff in the Bible or you
know God killed people or whatever the
cases are again is every kind of things
like that and they just throw everything
out but they'll read other books they'll
watch other movies but they say oh
that's okay I know there's bad stuff
that happens there but they it's like
they're kind of disassociated with it so
I've definitely noticed that and you've
done I guess an amazing job contending
for the Bible contending for the faith
I say faith I take it that you're a
believer are you a Christian or what did
you stand some faith I'm a believer a
believer I'm Jewish and my father as I
as I meant it was he was a survivor of
the Holocaust and I believe that faith
is more critical today than ever I see
idolatry all around us which scares me a
lot because when idolatry happens that's
when the horrors begin and so I am I am
a believer full full uh and
and I've you know I've shared I'm Jewish
but I'd say you know 80% of the my
appearances have been on I've been on
have been with Christians some with
Muslims and I think that the real thing
that can that that unites us as is
belief in a sovereign who endowed each
of us with some sort of spark of
divinity that's what the Bible says
right in Chapter one you know we were
all made in Hebrew but Selim and lo keem
in the image of God and that we spend
our lives hopefully as believers trying
to find out what we're supposed to do to
to actualize that spark of divinity
that's when it in all of us and treat
other people as though they have a spark
of divinity I mean that's fundamental
every human being has that spark of
divinity and if we don't treat them the
right way then we're not treating God
the right way that's good yeah I think I
think that the teachings of Christ and
not only Christ but most every other
holy book talks about you know very
similar principles as do unto others as
you would do unto yourself and and
taking care of strangers for in doing so
you've kind of you've done it to Christ
even whatever you've done to the least
of these things like that so you know
the title of the book as I guess the the
subtitle in good faith questioning
religion and atheism most of us I don't
I don't deal with a lot of atheists
right but I could see where we would
question it where does the questioning
of religion come in with with the book
so that's that's you really hit the nail
on the head because I've debate I've
debated atheists and if anybody wants to
see a debate I debated Michael Shermer
who you may have heard of who say you
know written about eleven atheist books
you can find that on my website Scotch a
calm but and I've talked to a lot of
believers and I'll have to I have to
tell you that the one thing I've learned
is that believers have to in the end
explain one thing which is how an all
good God could let so much bad stuff
happen how could the Holocaust have
happened how could the genocide in
Rwanda 'then how could you know style
and have have sent tens of millions to
the gulag starved the quarter the
ukraine and killed all the kulaks we
have to explain how god lets that happen
and we can get into that because there's
no one right answer
atheists have to explain everything else
and that's a big lift and they don't and
I you know I can't end I've read Richard
Dawkins Christopher Hitchens Daniel
Dennett you know Sam Harris and recently
you know more recently although I read I
mention him a little in the book is
Yuval re-wrote sapiens and they all miss
huge amounts of reality and that's what
I try to explain in the book I also try
to explain in the book and this is I
think really fundamental what idolatry
is and that's sort of what got me to
write the book which is I'm really sick
II I'm really concerned today about the
upsurge in and in idolatry let me just
define it for you know for everybody
who's listening and watching as here's
what people don't get idolatry is
defined very carefully by the Bible in a
number of ways through its stores it's
not like what we think about today oh
we're bowing down to some some statues
or we're doing some sort of you know
harmless gestures idolatry the Bible is
pretty clear idolatry is ascribing super
power or super authority to finite
beings people you know beings people
ideologies or natural processes in the
ancient world also
animals but not so much today so how did
Stalin get away with all the stuff that
I talked about how did Mao end up
causing the death of 75 million of his
countrymen you know how did you know you
can go the list of modern-day idolaters
style and Mao Pol Pot the Assad family
the Kim family Hitler of course and it
goes on and on and on it's happening in
Sudan today it's happening all over the
place unfortunately today they're using
the same tropes as the god-king Pharaoh
did many many you know thousands of
years ago myth pageantry song parades
all of course backed up by a brutal army
and and informers and it's not just on a
macro basis so when you get an ideology
like Hitler or you know Stalin people do
stuff I mean how did Mao cause the death
275 million of his compatriots and
nobody questions him it's because he had
super Authority he was the god king same
thing with Hitler Stalin etc so it's
it's when that happens really tours do
weapons and it also happens on a micro
basis as a people thing people don't
recognize is that how did Charlie Rose
and Harvey Weinstein and Matt Lauer and
Kevin Spacey do things they did and get
away with it in terms of abuse it's that
they set themselves up successfully so
his idols they were unquestioned and
unquestionable I mean a Charlie Rose at
CBS whatever he said was truth and
whenever anybody else said was a lie and
so that's what God King Pharaoh's do is
they create the truth and want everybody
else to live you know to live
essentially a life of Lies and that's
why it's so important for all of us to
feel responsible to an absolute Almighty
God who has absolute truth and
and live our lives that way that's
interesting and and and I hate going
here because my you know that I have a
lot of listeners you know you can't talk
about politics you're dividing it right
oh my gosh but I'm thinking I mean my
mind even with all these people that
you've mentioned from for me my mind
goes back to I could say Trump but just
like the US government and some of the
things that we've done and we know the
you know the right-wing political party
is like God and we use scriptures and
we're doing this in the name of the
almighty god and so we justify horrible
acts of destruction and war and genocide
in the name of God or in the name of
democracy or we need to kill them and
their leaders and their families and and
things like that does that does that
idolatry fall in the same lines as
people looking up to the government
don't question them I mean they're
scripture is telling you don't question
the men of God and people use that about
the government pray for your leaders
don't don't you know scrutinize them but
pray for them even though they're doing
all types of things which I would you
know deemed to be evil essentially if it
was happening to me like if I was on the
other side of the bombs like oh my god
you know what I'm saying there's that
there's that so here's the thing the
Bible recognize that thirty over three
thousand years ago over you know about
thirty four thirty thirty
um you know 3,500 years ago we were so
which is go to the Ten Commandments
what's the person a week some Christians
and and different depending on the
denominations count the the Ten
Commandments a little differently the
way we Jews count them the first
commandment is belief in God the second
commandment is don't make idols the
third commandment is don't take God's
name in vain and if you read the Ten
Commandments that is the only
commandment for which there is no
redemption I mean you can open up the
scripture and you'll find you
so what is that all about some people
say oh it's about swearing using God
saying no let's trivialize it anytime
someone says takes God name in vain
they're what they're doing is they're
saying I am the sole spokesperson for
God I know what God wants you do this
because this is what God wants that is
idolatry that's self deification that's
so wrong
because the other side of that knew hit
the nail on the head and you hit the
nail on the head Derek and that the in
that the Hebrew Scriptures say love your
neighbors yourself the golden rule Jesus
reformulated the golden rule Hillel who
lived who lived maybe less than a
hundred years before he'll out before
Jesus said he he actually said the
golden world away I like it the best
which is don't do unto others what you
wouldn't want done unto yourself the
rest is commentary go learn it so would
you really want to be bombed by some
foreign country no well don't do it
because you wouldn't want it done to
yourself think first about how you would
act because the most people tend to
deify themselves and think you know I'm
gonna do this that's okay that other
person deserves it but think about how
you would feel if that same action is
done to you and the Bible says that over
and over again and you know the famous
speeches you know in in the Bible if you
look at Nathan chastising David after
the Bathsheba he creates a homily a
little you know a little parable
comparing David - you know comparing
David to another situation think about
how you would feel if you were in the
same shoes and that's what the Bible
wants us to that's what if you're
reading Isaiah boy and Amos over and
over again the Bible's hid hitting us
over the head nice the prophets earning
is overhead you wouldn't want that dump
- you don't do it to somebody else and
you know what if you read
the Book of Kings when you're talking
about trust of the government I defy
anybody to read the book of Kings and
think that the Bible likes Kings I mean
basically the only people who come out
well and the book of Kings are the
common folks who from time to time you
know either wise women the why
occasionally a wise man
mostly it's be very wary of government
because government tends to corrupt and
if I'll just say one last thing people
think balance of power is something new
and you know checks and balances
something no but if you read the Hebrew
Scriptures what was the structure of the
Hebrew monarchy of the Hebrew government
well you had a monarch but he couldn't
make laws because he had to have a Bible
at his hand and he had to write the
Bible he could not amend the Bible then
you had a separately financed priesthood
separation of church and state the high
priest God is half shekel from everybody
and so he had his own source of funds
and the priesthood was separate from the
state then you had the son Hedren which
was the judicial branch and you know
occasionally a son ever gets a bad rap
but it was really an independent
judiciary like him or not they were
independent and then you had a fourth
branch you didn't have newspapers in
those days but you're the prophets he
had a fourth estate whose job it was was
to call out bad stuff now that broke
down because Kings took too much power
and all sorts of stuff happened but
that's what the Bible says it hates any
monopoly of power the Bible hates any
monopoly of power so it wouldn't like
people doing bad stuff today in the name
of God that's the most important thing
yeah there's a UH there's a
disassociation there because it's always
for people and maybe this is the hidden
idolatry because it's always talking
about somebody else it's never talking
about you yeah yeah exactly like
worth more than theirs or God cares
about me more than you know these people
because they you know I think that's
what it were for me it was we're like
empathy comes in and putting yourself in
somebody else's shoes and it's like hey
again again going back to what you were
talking about not doing anything to
someone else that you don't want done to
you I mean the whole of the law even is
Jesus breaks it down we got all of these
rules and regulations and thanks as look
I'm talking about this is about love and
the highest degree if you love you your
wife
you're not gonna lust after another
man's wife if you love your your
neighbor your brother you're not going
to steal from him so like because of
love and because of empathy you're gonna
keep the law by the spirit of it and it
all makes a lot more sense especially
for Gentiles trying to come in who have
no idea what the law and the statutes
and things like that are about but it's
like walking in this Universal love for
all then we find ourselves keeping the
commandments of God and walking in in
love and everything just kind of starts
working together and that's the spirit
of the whole thing of the Bible even is
I believe it's a love story you know and
how we should walk you know circumspect
from from you know yeah what was one
another and and walking in faith in and
turning the other cheek and things like
that it was like do you turn the other
cheek or do you bomb them you know that
kind of thing
well yeah I mean the the kidney birds
for have to Corinne her come o come love
your neighbor as yourself I mean that's
some people say that's the most
important three words in the whole Bible
if you do that if you if you or if you
do the root you know again do the
reverse just don't do to somebody what
you don't want done unto yourself
because that really here's the tie-in
between the aunt and deification self
deification is that anytime you do
something to somebody else because
remember what I said in the beginning we
all have a divine spark according to the
Bible and we spend our lives I think
trying to figure out what that is and
how we can best utilize that and if we
do we really won the jackpot but
anytime I think I can do something to
you that you shouldn't be able to do to
me I'm dissing I am disparaging your
divine spark and saying but I have a
divine spark and I'm divine I'm you know
so I think there's a I think there's the
the tie-in between idolatry the golden
rural and self deification and you know
Jesus brought the golden rural to a much
wider humanity yeah and and you know and
no no doubt about it now let me ask you
this so when it comes to faith and when
it comes to using the Bible to empower
someone I mean there's so many instances
I just got over my fear of flying this
past weekend and in the Bible was a big
part of it and face and things like that
but we've seen we've seen people use it
have you seen have you seen the movie
The Book of Eli by chance I haven't so
anyway it's this it's almost like an
allegory where like whoever has the book
has the power to rule the world and the
book at the end you find out is the
Bible right they have the Bible and he
puts it with they put it with all the
other holy books but like whoever uses
this book they can you know rule the
world and it's like you've seen a lot of
people groups and a lot of sex or even
cults even look at David Koresh and Jim
Jones and all these other people yeah
who who use it and it's definitely a
form of human worship you know what I'm
saying and idolatry that that kicks in
but it's like whoever has the knowledge
of the book has the control over the
people but we've seen people use the
book to help them right to just everyday
life and overcome obstacles and things
like that but there's some people who
will find their identity in it but then
again it moves to something that's
corrupted when it gets in even to the
people group and I'll just give you this
quick example there was some years when
I was still looking for my my identity
as a Christian I ran into a sect of
people a group of believers called the
Hebrew Israelites the black Hebrew and
so this was like if you look at it if
something appears like they've been told
that there are nothing that they're the
scum of the earth and all of this kind
of stuff and then they finally read the
Bible and somebody teaches it to them in
such a way that this book is about you
and now the roles changed whether you
know you were created to be a slave and
this is some stuff with you know African
American believes that they're told they
were created to be slaves they were
created to build the country and all of
this kind of stuff but now they're
reading a book that empowers them no no
you're not a slave you are a holy people
you are set apart this you are part of
the patriot you are the real Jews is
what they get get into right and I've
seen how like this belief will empower
young people so for the first time they
have a sense of hope and it's not and
it's based off of their race even their
skin color or whatever and obviously
that you know the Jewish text and
there's some pride there and it comes in
hey this is this is our heritage this is
where we come from then when I was
really big into the black Hebrew
Israelites I went to work in Mississippi
with a lot of white guys who were
reading the Bible and they were into
this white nationalist movement to where
they were in the Klu Klux Klan the KKK
and they believed those same scriptures
that the black guys believed about them
being the chosen people you are my your
royal priesthood in you you I'm gonna
you know use you to establish my law on
earth but they'll read those same
scriptures and it empowers them as white
men thinking that they are the people of
the book and it's just weird notion
where everybody wants to be the people
of the book you know and it's fighting
about the Catholics want to be the
people of the book and this is our
religion and you know and it's gets
really weird and we see how people use
the Bible maybe not meaning to but they
use it for their own demise and it
separates and it creates enemies and it
verses all of us coming together as one
that divine spark and noticing it seeing
seeing and everyone that weird we're
good you're bad we're holy you can do
this to be like us type deal have you
dealt with any like the white
nationalist or even like I said that the
Hebrew Israelites said definitely moves
into a form of idolatry as well no
question about it that people have tried
to abuse the Bible and the and and those
folks are missing the whole point look
one of my year of dr. Martin Luther King
he you know the Bible was was was the
core of his identity and the fabric of
what he believed in with every every
cell in his body and at the same time
there were people at the Ku Klux Klan
saying oh we're Bible believers yeah
here's the thing and here's a difference
and this is why the Bible it's good that
the Bible is an open door if you don't
believe that everybody's created with
the spark of your divinity then you
didn't read the Bible if you didn't if
you don't see where it says in the
Hebrew Scriptures you know if you have
to correct come on I love your neighbor
as yourself don't do one to someone else
you wouldn't want done in to you and you
just have them read the Bible if you
don't read Leviticus 19 that says don't
lie steal cheat use you know you know
even weights and measures that aren't
accurate you can't do anything to
deceive someone else you can't do
anything to harm someone else and here's
the thing that people don't get about
the Bible and I and I defy anybody to
show me anything in the Bible that
really you know says that slavery has
anything to do with race it doesn't we
don't know whether the by we don't do
people skin color isn't even addressed
in the Bible period and and when you get
to slavery in the Bible there's never an
endorsement read the entire five books
of Moses there's never an endorsement of
slavery there's an acknowledgement that
it exists it's more like other than the
Jews who escape from slavery been terms
of the law as the Jews were the victims
in the story of
three of racist slavery but in terms of
post that a slave is not really a slave
in our you know way we would think about
it it's someone who has to work for no
more than six years has to be you know
fed and given you know we're to sleep
and a whole bunch of other stuff and if
that slave is harmed in any way the
slave goes free if the slave escapes
there's a there's a specific prohibition
against returning slaves so the Bible
acknowledges I mean let's
unfortunately slavery was endemic in
that period of time I mean maybe thirty
to forty percent of all the people who
lived in Athens that we look up to
somehow today were slaves you know the
Romans had at least their many slaves it
was the way of the world and so the
Bible but the Bible never the Bible
never endorses it it says okay here's
what it is when redefining it
essentially is indentured servitude and
it and again never does the Bible and I
deal with this in the book particularly
in one of the chapters because you know
there are people who say that the Bible
is is is racist I mean Richard Dawkins
says and I'm gonna paraphrase him but
I'm pretty close he says the Bible is
the most racist sexist homophobic
pro-slavery prorate xenophobic book that
was ever written
and basically I've written in in section
two and I explained what the Bible is
really trying to do and if you read it
closely you'll come to a different
conclusion if you read the the issues
are the death penalty in the Bible
you'll come to a very different
conclusion I'm not an apologist and that
I'm trying to exam to explain away what
the Bible says I ask people to read it
closely when I ask them to go on a
journey with me to read it closely about
why what what is the Bible really saying
about identity differences and I think
most people Luke
you know look you've seen my books you
know I have people on the people who are
certainly would be considered
progressives endorsing my book because
the Bible actually opened the way for
all national liberation and for
movements it opened the way I mean in
the south the African Americans took
tremendous inspiration from the Bible
the slave rebellions that took place you
know both in the Bahamas and in the and
in the United States Pompeo and and
nathan-turner
all took their inspiration from the
Bible yeah wouldn't when it comes to
slavery as well like again it's like a
hired hand you become a slave for that
person you're indebted for that and
people you could come on for years like
you said you can do it a three-year six
was the max or six and and there was a
time where you you were able to go free
and then there was a rule work where you
could go free but you could get a
piercing and earring yes to signify that
hey I'm free but I'm here because I want
to be here so they would wear earrings
and then Paul isn't there a scripture in
the New Testament it says Paul actually
went and got an earring or even talked
about it just talking about being a
slave the one who was indebted to Christ
like I'm a slave to Christ and so I know
if he got the earring but it was like
you know talked about it in the same
breath or whatever well so in the heat
in the Hebrew Scriptures the if you if
you said he came to the end of your term
because remember the other thing that
happened every seven years is their
debts were forgiven who believe a bunch
of well that up in every 50 years the
Jubilee okay that's when all the land
was returned that was you know people
talk I wrote an article is the Bible
socialists and the Bible isn't
socialists per se but it has a heavy
three distributive you know a heavy
redistributed to impulse but having said
that so you come to the
and of your six either you're either
your term is over which can be a max of
six years because if you started the day
after the the prior meets a year then
you'd get released after six years but
it could be four shorter or if something
happened but let's say the end came and
now you're to be free so the Bible
actually says that your ear hear it's
more than an earring you know you have
to actually have up you know your you
put your ear at the door and it's
pierced it doesn't sound yeah although I
don't think you'd want that one fell
swoop that took a while to get to that
sucks
so it was it was meant to be painful it
was meant to be dissuasive you know it's
not something you would do lightly but
it you know and and it was meant to be a
ritual saying hey I didn't just sort of
like decide hey things are okay here I
don't really want to get my own place
I'm gonna keep hanging out I'm gonna
keep working as the agricultural and ER
it was like okay I'm making a decision
and and then you could stay as a slave
but even then after Jubilee you were
forced to go didn't have a choice you
were free no matter what you wanted to
do yeah it's interesting again talking
about the ritual like you're kind of you
know you're kind of like performing a
ritual of nailing yourselves or tying
yourself to this house right 100% it we
got doorpost like my mom I'm gonna serve
I'm honor I'm gonna protect this house
and this family even right yes you got
it and that's you know the Bible didn't
really like slavery that's why it didn't
just let people say oh you know what I'm
gonna sign on for another you know six
years or seven years it made it painful
and if you read you know any histories
of the Israelite you know kingdoms they
it it they weren't it wasn't a slave
culture at least
it wasn't it wasn't something that was
encouraged but it was recognized that
that's something that you know was just
part of the unsaddle e of the economics
of that era
now what about there's a lot of people
who would read even some of the the bad
stuff in the Bible I lost you can you
hear me now no I got you okay
now what about for the people who would
read either if they would call it some
of the bad stuff in the Bible or the
stuff that they don't agree with and
it's madly taken out of context right I
mean there's so much stuff that we they
read one time and they think it was
something common or something that even
like God would rebuke so they look at
that whole practice as something that we
were not to engage with just because God
was rebuking the person because of their
their heart or whatever the case is so
people will read stuff about choosing a
king and then what and then what all the
kings did it's the hold on like God told
us not to but he wanted to be our king
you know what I'm saying so he's like
anything that you choose that at this
point is going to be to your own
detriment or anything that happens bad
we think just because it's in the Bible
that it was like God's will and the
Israelites were like going astray and
doing all this other stuff and we read
about it up see there it is and we don't
know that there were certain times where
the Israelites got off paths paths and
they had to repent and they had to come
back to the Father's heart and things
like that so we read about stuff that
they were doing and say see look I told
you they wasn't supposed to told you
this was in the Bible so hold on they
were going against you know God's
commandments at the time they were in a
state of rebellion and just because you
read that out of the context that's not
like the framework of the heart of God
and what he wants for Humanity there's a
lot of that going on right there is I
mean you know there's some really
painful places to read like the end of
the book of Judges when the whole you
know events happen with the the

know the bad stuff and the Bible is
reporting this because it neat we need
to know why we need the law and why we
need to believe in God I mean I love me
let me dive into something that people
generally generally take it as one of
the really bad parts of the Bible which
is where the Israelites are commanded to
rid Kanaan of the seven Israel of the
seven cannot night nations I mean that's
when I go on this is one of the
questions I get three honey I'm booked

the Bible's genocidal and here's the
answer it's gonna take a few paragraphs
but I'll give you the answer if you go
to chapter 14 of Genesis the first
encounter that God really has a whole
conversation with Abram he says Tim

give you this land ultimately but not
now because the in NIC wouldn t have my
iniquities people here is not yet
complete it's gonna take another four
years these people are really really bad
people but they've got to be amazingly
bad before you know they lose their deed
to the this-this-this lamp
I mean that's the first place that God
really says God says I'm the global
realtor and your moral behavior is your
mortgage you can lose the land if you
don't act morally so when later the
Israelites are commanded to rid the the
the Canaanites from the land what are
they what happens first of all the
kanata Knights have 40 years of warning
about this and nowhere in the bible does
it say that you're supposed to chase
after any of these kanata Knights if
they leave they lost their mortgage on
the land if they leave that's fine you
don't chase them down they're gone and
indeed if you remember they're seven
nation mentioned seven nations mentioned
and the Google Sites are mentioned in
the in the five books of Moses but never

from him he doesn't kill him he doesn't
say I'll get out of here he doesn't she
says I'm gonna buy it from you
cuz this guy as the Bible says is a
righteous fella so anybody who signs up
in his righteous can stay and the
reverse is true too
when the ten northern kingdoms acts so
terribly that they are thrown out of the
land the Israelites can lose their
mortgage on the land - as we know
unfortunate on the Bible all too well
what does the Bible say in Kings it says
but there are 7,000 righteous people
they will be okay so it works both for
Israelites for Jews for non-jews you
have a mortgage to this land for
whatever reason there's a heavy mortgage
of morality to the slam if you abide by
it you can stay if you violate it it's
not gonna go so well and that's really
what the Bible's is getting after
nobody's chased down but they do lose
their mortgage to the land does that
help oh yeah yeah definitely um well let
me because this is this is a big help
for me and this is a big way that I I
read and study description what is your
take on and I'm just looking up this now
that there's an actual word for this the
allegory side to the Bible and so
there's I guess a word is called the
parties parties are you familiar with
that term par Jase yeah part days which
is the Jewish exercise and it's like
I've heard of seven but supposedly the
rabbi's believe that there's four
different layers to each Scripture
there's like the literal Indian is like
a spiritual then there's hints of
something deeper and then I was like a
mystical exoteric tied to that for me
when reading the Bible it's just
something that naturally happens in my
mind I'm
like what this means for me not a what
about what it meant for these people
2,000 years ago but what does this mean
for me today right that kind of
implication and I think it becomes more
real that's what I mean that's what it's
here for
not just yes as a history book but which
many do but what is your take on the you
know saying that the the deeper levels
in the allegory and things like that
yeah so there is there are four levels
is shot which means simplest you know
direct way there is Michelle which means
an example or you know homily you should
take this for example many people
believe look at what our forefathers and
foremothers did and then act that way
there's good lessons um there is you
sowed which is what you're talking about
too which are deeper secrets that are
harder to mine and then there is sort of
the Kabbalistic mystical side - the
Bible - and in the the in we have Jewish
Jewish texts called the Zohar which is a
deeply spiritual reimagining of how we
are part of and and manifestations of
Acts of manifestations of sort of the
form of God but you know we do we at
least Jews are not supposed to even
study that stuff until they turn 40
because it's so complicated
and it's so it's both fascinating and
dangerous because mysticism can be used
in good ways and not so good ways and
they can jet you know in and so the idea
of the ancient rabbis was wait until
you're really a settled person you're a
grown you know you're really a grown-up
in 40 was even older in those days you
know I mean 40 is young today you know
forties in the nude what is it 40s a new
25 in those days 40 was you were already
you were already a season you know a
season
bloke and but I you know look I'll tell
you one thing I read the Bible every
week I always find new things yeah I
mean I'll just give you one little one
little that one little thing that didn't
strike me and it doesn't strike most
people I found until many many years
later of reading this and I read it
every year I don't know how many times I
read if you look at the end of chapter
one in the Bible right so what's you
know we read the the creation of the
story this this beautiful effortless
creation of the universe and then you
get everything is great everything is
beautiful and it's and it's an infinite
God giving stuff and then at the end of
the chapter you know you get to verse 29
and it says God's saying you know be
fruitful be multiplied everything is
wonderful he says okay humans in verse
29 I have given you the herbage I need a
bowl tire and I given you all the fruit
it shall be yours for food and then he
says to every beast every bird instead
of giving you all the vegetation doesn't
give the the animals the fruit and I had
not I'd read that so many times and it
didn't occur to me that why is the
serpent you know why is the Nakash in
Hebrew later trying to tempt the the
female because at the time the Eve
doesn't even have her name yet
with fruit it's because he resents the
fact that he can't eat the fruit so he
tries to get her to eat the fruit she
can't eat the one fruit or maybe two
fruit she can't it's resentment it's
deep resentment here the animals are
living and the people are living in the
most wonderful place you can imagine
there are no predators everybody's
eating vegetation nobody fears one
another
you know the human being can name the
animals they're all I mean you can't
imagine anything better than this and
what destroys it
but resentment I can't have that
so I'm gonna I'm gonna risk this entire
perfect place because I can't have that
one thing and so with the Serpent's
motivation is is resentment and that's
the first sort of way that the Bible you
know is it's the it's I don't want to
call originally cuz that's that's a
loaded term but it's sort of the first
negative impulse it's like the idolatry
right you tell me that I can't have
something and that's the one thing that
I want and we've been talking about this
a lot on the podcast lately well that's
the one thing that the serpent couldn't
have was fruit yeah serpent was doing
fine clearly didn't seem undernourished
but because he can't have the fruit he
wants to make the human try to have
something she can't happen that they
can't have the man and the worm you
can't happen you know the amazing thing
is is that resentment in a way is the
root cause of a lot of stuff and the
Bible nailed it
early on I mean if we didn't resent
other people resent other things and
just try to make the best of ourselves
way would this be a much better place
yeah this point it'd be a much better
place and the Bible continually my point
is is that it just nails this stuff over
and over and over again I mean I was
reading know I wrote an article about no
awareness about climate change you know
you know all the bad stuff if you read
it it keeps repeating that you know the
people are doing not good stuff but the
earth is corrupted the land is corrupt
you know our actions have an impact on
literally our environment and in a way
that gets back to our what I was saying
about you know the promised land our
moral behavior we
we can position we can possess the
promised land but not if we forfeit our
mortgage and as moral people so
constantly and and this you know our
actions are important our actions are
meaningful our actions can impact the
whole world and you know I get to add
another way every every week from the
Bible and that's why I encourage people
just pick up the Bible and start reading
it yeah and you know what you'll like it
a lot better or find the teacher you
know there's plenty of sources online
find the teacher read the Bible
carefully slowly you'll be a better
person for it yeah that's a debatable
one I guess not debatable but it's one
that people don't like again why do bad
things happen to good people why yeah
why would a loving God allow this to
help to happen and it's like you know
and I've talked to a lot of different
people whether they're believers or not
and they've come up with a lot of great
you know crazy examples
you chose to you signed up for this
before you came to earth there's a lot
of just weird stuff like that and but
when it comes to like the natural
disasters and stuff it's not popular but
like studying the Scriptures is like no
the earth is crying out like the earth
is in travail and it's it's hurting
because of us because again the sin
there's that that's happening on the
earth and so natural disasters and
hurricanes and tornadoes and it talks
about forest fires and things like that
are like happening because the earth is
like got a bunch of people corrupt
people who are idolaters and doing all
types of wickedness on the earth in the
earthís I get these things off of me
type deal and it's not popular to talk
about but it's definitely a biblical
representation of what's going on
spiritually with us in our connection to
the earth we have a deep connection we
have a deep connection leaders the man
man is and human beings are made from
the earth with the dust of the earth we
are and that's why I think the Noah's
story you know how we become how we and
actions we can corrupt the earth and you
know if you read in Deuteronomy into
viremic
in Hebrew you know it talks about
comparing men to trees except trees
can't move you know and it's a there's a
sadness there there's a you know there's
a fundamental sadness I mean we are like
trees but God has blessed us with being
able to move to do a lot of stuff and
you know I I think you know look I think
that we're compelled to act on issues
like climate change because of the Bible
that's what you know motivates me and I
and I also think that the Bible says if
you do stuff God will give you a
tailwind you know if you do if people do
bad bad things and you know and we can't
get into a Holocaust now but the
Holocaust happened six million Jews were
killed but you know what it didn't need
to be that bad because there was a
conference you know 1938 of all the
countries when Germany at that point
just wanted to get rid of the Jews in
terms of get him off of Europe they
didn't they weren't trying to murder
them all and you know what only two
countries really took in any refugees
and the Canadian Prime Minister famously
said you know for Canada no Jews would
be too many and the United States sent
the st. Louis off and sent many of the
the passengers on the st. Louis to death
you know so if the and there were plenty
of people in the United States who knew
what was going on there was intelligence
I mean even the New York Times there was
a book you know buried by the times that
showed that the New York Times knew what
was going on but chose not to feature
and heavily report it and downplay it so
people didn't do what they could have
done and so God was following our lead
God was a merciful because we weren't
merciful but when we do the right thing
I think we get it we get it we get it a
tailwind but there's never any guarantee
you know don't forget when Moses
save the Israelite who was being beaten
to death by the by the Egyptian
taskmaster he had a fleet of Midian for
four years and he actually never knew he
was coming back you know there are no
guarantees in the world but if you do
the right thing you can have the hope
for a tailwind a hope for a helping hand
from God and a lot of people really feel
that I mean even on book tour when I'm
talking to different people a lot of
people really feel that if they do the
right thing they get it they get some
help
hard to explain hard to point to it but
it's but they can feel it
mm-hmm it's something that's within our
DNA it's in our genetic makeup when we
do good we can expect good to come not
not doing it because good comes like it
makes even start out like that but it
comes to this natural desire again do
want to others as you were doing to
yourself so therefore by default by
proxy good stuffs coming you do bad
stuff watch out some something is coming
to collect you know for the for the bad
stuff that you're putting out there I
believe in a hundred percent and I try
to live my life that way and many others
and they're seeing the results you know
but by doing that Scott your new book is

they have with within the Bible you know
and I'm reading the comments here as
we're having this conversation this
discussion and you know many people are
just talking about how they
you know and I think after listening to
this I talked about it all the time it's
the fact that this spiritual level of
the Scriptures and what it means
spiritually and I don't want to negate
or rob someone's you know literal belief
in the Bible but there's so many people
that that's where they get their their
comfort and that's where we that that's
how they get their faith in their belief
that's in in in the way that I
interpreted it's very much at the bottom
as far as their literal bearings of the
Old Testament for me it's there's no
power in it for me right now if if it
existed or not if there was a literal
man named King David and obviously you
read it and you live your life like it
it like like there is because it makes
it more real to you right just that you
know notion that it's it's real so you
know that that helps a lot of people but
it's you know the mystical layers the
exoteric layers
Ramez is the hints of the deep allegory
hidden or symbolic meaning beyond just a
literal sense the duress from the Hebrew
the rush is to inquire to seek
comparative meaning as given through
similar occurrences right we see
patterns that are going that are
happening over and over within the Bible
you do this this happens you do that
that happens
hints meaning look up don't do that
right learning from your mistakes in
this case learning from the mistakes of
others in the biblical sense but even in
you know it transcends transcends into
your your you know the natural of your
everyday life you know what I'm saying
of looking into why is this happening to
me why I just keep happening over and
over maybe I need to change the things
that I'm doing maybe I need to hang
around different people and in this odd
version or sohd which is the secret
mystery or the esoterical meaning as
given to the inspiration or revelation
many biblical literacy don't get into
any of this at all
they just think it the Bible is literal
that's all you get but how many history
books have you read with every other
sentence having some type of deep
profound lesson like what books have you
ever read that like a history book where
every sentence had a deep profound
mystical inner lesson you don't know it
just doesn't doesn't work that way you
know so it lets you know that there's
something deeper to it than just reading
it as its literal just this literal book
but some people maybe the majority of
people that's how they found their faith
you know maybe that's how I found mine
but it was true for me it was a natural
process of reading and then having this
this encounter with God this encounter
with the Holy Spirit that's like almost
reading it and kind of interpreting it
for you like setting up scenario when
allegory hey this is you this part
you're about to read that's you when you
were in idolatry this is you when you
were addicted to drugs and see what
happens to this person see how they got
free and now they're thankful see how
they thought about going back but the
journey you had was so much more and
they would forfeit their birthright they
would forfeit their inheritance if they
went back to the east easy path if they
gave up they would go back and their
journey would end but because they
didn't in there because they didn't stop
they repented and kept moving forward
God granted them more years on their
life God granted them blessings that
none of nobody in their family has been
able to see but you've stepped into this
new level because you've trusted God
you've trusted the divine spark that is
within you that's been guiding you since
the beginning and because of that this
and this and this happens because of
that you met your spouse because of that
you have kids because of that you've
stepped out of that dead-end job and you
stepped into your dream job because
you've overcome your Giants because
you've conquered your fears and you've
stepped into faith which happens every
time it's beautiful
and so that's how I read the Bible you
know and I think that the literal
thinking of it as literal just kind of
helps it become more real to you I guess
but for me you know what one of the
giants that I just conquered was the
fear of flying deathly afraid deathly
afraid of flying thinking that for many
reasons severely claustrophobic not just
claustrophobic but severely
claustrophobic having panic attacks and
it was because of trauma that happened
to me when I was a kid some things
happen to where abuse by my brother and
locking us in drawer you know sock
drawers and put your drawer out and his
socks in it and stuff like that used to
make us get in there lay down and close
it and we're just like this can't move
little kids trapped in the sock drawer
locked in the cabinet locked in chests
and stuff like that and it was just this
sense of panic from someplace we just
come and like the feeling of I'm about
to die being suffocated by my brother
and a lot of things that happened to me
as a kid by my brother when he was
watching us home alone and it was
terrifying and it released that trauma
throughout my body like you can feel it
it's scary it's like I would rather die
than feel this trauma and so you get
into situations in your life where you
you feel a little bit of that trauma
coming up and so what I can't do that
it's happened like if you for me it was
like the claustrophobia was there I
remember some guy even a couple couple
years ago my buddy Lee came to pick me
up to bring me to a concert and he drove
a good thirty minutes to come get me and
we were gonna drive an hour to the
concert so we get he comes to the house
and I think that I'm like he's gonna
pick me up and I'm sitting in a
passenger seat and ride with them little
did I know there was already guy in the
vehicle so I told me to get in the back
I got in the backseat and there was no
door there so like my mind immediately
because of the way I was raised I'm
always looking for a way out I'm always
assessing the situation I want to be in
control it's really big weather you know
we coming up in in gangs and having
people wanting to fight you all of that
stuff kind of comes in and shapes the
way that you think you want to you know
look for the exit
I mean going into bars and concerts and
like sizing people up to make sure if we
got into a fight what we need to do like
there's a missus not this is not just me
there's a lot of guys who think this way
as well
and just the more vocal about it the
more we can identify it so I got in the
back seat and there wasn't a lot of room
like the back seat was like kind of
right in front of me and I'm back there
and he's in a little sports car he's
we're leaving and he's hitting Cook
corners man he's driving fast I'm like I
sold bro you got you got to stop you got
to bring me back home ain't no way I can
drive I can ride an hour with you in
this back seat because if you if we get
hit you get down I can't I can't weasel
my way out of this backseat if we get
into a car class and the car catches on
fire we're in a ditch I can't get out
I'm sorry if there was a door here it'd
be different because I can just open the
door fall out the door but there's no
way I can jump your seat and all that so
anyway he's like he's serious bro cuz he
drove a good 30 minutes to come get me
out of his way
I say yeah I'm sorry man I'm severely
claustrophobic so he brings me home and
so therefore I ended up getting to the
concert somebody else come and got me in
a van and end up going to it but I felt
bad for him driving that far out of the
way to come get me and then other times
there was ministry opportunities that I
have had people I told my testimony on
this radio station one time and talked
about dark witchcraft and occultism and
stuff like that and they had an opening
for me to come speak at an event in
Denver and they were gonna fly me out to
Denver and I've never been on the plane
and immediately the thought of getting
on the plane and getting on this small
confined plane fear of heights
claustrophobia no it was just out of the
picture nup can't do it other times
people were trying to book me to come do
concerts out of state and somebody tried
to book me in Indiana and immediately
shot that down came up with an excuse I
got to work or whatever the case is and
so there's no reason there's not taking
an off day or anything just knew that I
wasn't gonna do it be able to get on the
plane and so I've been asked over the
years
by some close friends to do weddings for
him so but but even that was kind of a
thing like now I don't see myself doing
doing weddings and forever whatever
reasons it felt like I was unqualified
again you know I have some weird
kind of self-conscious with my voice or
whatever to perform a ceremony and
whatever you know even doing a podcast
that's something I've had to get over as
my voice and my stuttering and all that
kind of stuff and so two or three people
over the years have asked me to do their
wedding shot that down as well and then
recently my middle of last year two good
friends asked me to do their weddings
but it's Shane Turner the challah boy
I've done a lot of music with him it's a
good friend over the years he asked me
to do was wedding I was like you know
what I'll do it
sure I'm being asked a lot and I think
it's time to do it and then my good
buddy Justin Grimm Justin Taylor he's
been a patron since day one and he's
been a supporter of my music and my work
and just really been a good friend
honestly he asked me to do it so I have
two of these people who see me as a
spiritual leader maybe the only
spiritual spiritual leader that they're
comfortable with versus just going get a
random pastor to marry them they want
somebody to be a part of their their
wedding day something somebody special
so they asked me to do their wedding and
hands down I just kind of knew
intuitively sure for sure 100% I'd be
honored to so I told them both yeah and
then so there's the fear of performing a
wedding so I just gave myself over to
studying weddings and how to perform one
and you know etiquette and just learning
the ceremony and stuff and so that took
up a lot of my time learning how to do
that so I did that but then the fear of
flying kicked in oh I got a I got to get
on a plane because this other guy Justin
he lives in Denver and it's all about
flying me out again flying me out to
Denver so I'm like man I came I started
panicking so I was thinking about it
started panicking how am I gonna how am
I gonna do this and then I started
reasoning within myself and I was like
the fear just overtook me I was like and
I made up
an excuse like it was a legit excuse but
it made up in a few so told him I
couldn't do it
he said man ain't no bear to do it bro
finances you know my daughter's got a
lot going on with school and I don't
even know if will be available then so I
hate to commit to you and I backed out
but then like the next day we talked
again and I'm like wrestling within
myself and it's like just give me a
little time bro let me just give me a
little time and I'll let you know what I
can do you know I'm just kind of like
freaking out thinking about having to
get on this plane and this plane is
gonna crash you know and I mean my fear
was so so real that like I'm thinking in
my head playing out all these weird
scenarios which is fear false evidence
appearing real none of this is real
it's only real in my head or your head
whatever fears you have and so I'm
seeing myself on there having a panic
attack
opening up to trying to even like try I
would joke about it but still joking
about it and talking about the fear only
like poured like water poured fuel on
the fire
talking about like if I'm up there not
panic then I'm gonna run and try to open
the door like literally like even though
I was joking like literally that was
like an option like this how much panic
to get out of that situation because
when you feel that adrenaline being
released in your and your bloodstream
and you start panicking and you can't
breathe it's scary so I told him I said
Brock I probably can't do it man and so
then a couple days later I went to visit
my friend Gil and Adina Hodges they were
at it they were travelling across the
u.s. and then they went to Mississippi
which was a good I think it was like
four hours away three four hours away to
an event and I went to meet him there
because we've been you know we've been a
good friends online for a couple months
now and really look up to those guys so
I went to see them at their event had a
really good time at the event stayed
with them at a Airbnb and we did some
ministry together we did some interviews
and stuff like that and then I kind of
told him about my opportunity and what I
was dealing with like I'm I've been
passing up opportunities people would
invite me to come
to come fly and I wouldn't do it
you know people asked me to come speak
people asked me to come perform and I
wouldn't do it and I could see how it
was hindering my life this fear was
hindering my life and knowing the things
that God has called me to to travel and
to to be out there and things like that
that I was just shutting it down and I
was gonna be missing out on a lot and I
already have missed out on a lot because
of that fear so I told them about it and
so he asked me if I wanted to do an
Ascension and I've talked about this
before ascension isn't it's kind of like
a hypnosis where you kind of go into the
heavenly courts as you close your eyes
and go in and you kind of present a
court case before God Jesus and whatever
it is that accuses you like the accuser
of the Brethren so for me we went in and
we did like a an ascension where a lot
of things trauma sphere whatever you see
it embodied as a entity as a demon or
whatever as you're in this meditation
and then you see Jesus come in and you
say okay what do you have against my are
you here or whatever and it's just
different ways of seeing Jesus
conquering that demon right Jesus
conquering that spirit that's ailing you
and so now it was a beautiful experience
I've done a lot of deliverance whether
it's self deliverance or been a part of
group deliverance is I've let people in
some of those as well but afterwards I
felt really good because I understand
the subconscious I understand how the
mind works so mentally I crushed that
fear we asked we prayed and believed for
you know the neurotransmitters to
reconnect in the brain and act like it's
not even a thing and I felt really good
after that session I'll say that so the
hypnosis is real and this is a Christian
form of hypnosis so we did I felt really
good so couldn't wait to get back so the
next day I got back home and immediately
got on the internet and hit my buddy
Justin up grim and say hey bro I'm in
let's do it I'm coming so they booked
the flight so now there's no backing out
you know the fight the flight is booked
all that stuff and then it's kind of I
feel
good about it though so it's probably a
two month window you have two months
until it came and so it's coming into
2020 with all this new stuff I'm going
to be marrying people I'm gonna take my
first flight we're doing our first
spiritual retreat you know we got a
budget stuff coming into 2020 and I'm
just like wide-eyed and hopeful and so
I'm excited about it and then a week out
literally a week ago I started thinking
about it maybe seeing a video of a plane
or something I'm gonna be on a plane in
a week and all of a sudden like I felt
that anxiety I felt the adrenaline hit
me while I'm sitting on the couch at
home with my wife and daughter and I'm
thinking about the plane my heart starts
racing my palms start sweating and I'm
just sitting there and my mind is
creating these scenarios and I'm like
I'm gonna die in a week this plane is
gonna crash you know and all the weird
stuff and I'm trying to get my mind off
of it but then again I want to sit in it
I want to think about it I want to you
know y'all want to weigh out the options
what if this happens like what if the
plane goes down can I kick the window
out you know what I'm saying can will I
be able to get you in so the mind just
starts playing out all these scenarios
and stuff even not felt good for those
months leading up to it right after the
week was like it's finna go down so I
start watching videos of people
panicking on planes I start watching
these these videos of people having
panic attacks and and and and people
about to take off they have Anna panic
attack and they make the people stop the
plane and they turn around and bring the
person back and I'm like man what if
that happens to me and each video out
watch man it's like the levels in the
intensity of the fear it hurt me like it
made me sick like I was I couldn't even
shake it off of me you know I'm saying
like because it was so real these these
mental images that are fake it's only in
my mind but it was real it was a real
obstacle it's been with me my entire
life I've always been scared of that
thing it's always been there and I've
never faced it I've never conquered it
and so I still kept doing the research
and I thought I think it was a good
thing that I did the research because
I'm I'm watching people panic I'm
watching how people get over
being panicked I'm watching different
people be hypnotized out of their panic
I'm watching the place' doing placebo
studies about people who were taking
xanax on planes and making the ride a
little bit easier and all of these
different ways that people can can do it
and I'm hearing mixed opinions well it's
not good for you to do xenyx because you
won't get over the flight and your
body's still going through the trauma
but your mind is just like in la-la land
or something like that and I'm watching
all these videos and it's still scaring
me but as the body releases the
adrenaline and the anxiety all hits you
and it's going throughout your body they
say to think about things that bring you
peace and happy moments in your life the
birth of a child your wedding day your
spouse think about that person and you
start to feel better but I remember when
I was with Gil the reason I wanted to
address this because there was a guy at
their conference who showed me pictures
from their last conference that they all
did together and I want to be a part of
these conferences right I have people
wanting me to come out and speak and
people want me to come to their events
and stuff and the pictures he showed me
what is a conference like in Denver or
Colorado Springs wherever it was and it
was in this really nice hotel high up
and it was just a view of the mountains
which was breathtaking amazing I'm in
Alabama you know and these mountains
were so beautiful and for me it's a
twenty one hour drive if I was to drive
up there and seeing that it's like oh if
you don't overcome this fear you're not
gonna be able to see that and that was
one thing but the deeper thing was my
wife wouldn't be able to see it like I'm
hindering not only me I'm cool whatever
but my wife so my wife is in a marriage
and a partnership that I'm holding her
back from doing this stuff because she's
not able to do it because of me and I
not only it's not the only a theory like
we could have booked it right so it's
not like one day I might be able to see
this like now you got a ticket to do it
you can do this right and so all you
gotta do is say yes
so anyway we go through the thing with
Gil feel better go back home I tell them
hey we're gonna do it as your body if as
I'm reviewing this stuff and your body's
going through this anxiety instead of
going to these places that make you feel
good what helped me was immediately
looking at a picture of Denver in that
Denver skyline I would look them up
online and I would see it was so
beautiful and it's like okay if you
panic you can't have this but if you
don't you can and not only Denver but
let's mean Paris France Italy you know
what I'm saying all these other places
that I want to go to I want to go to
Washington I want to go there to the
East SETI ranch you know what I'm saying
as the other side of the country there's
no way that I'm gonna get there unless I
fly so when I would look at the these
pictures of Denton the Denver skyline
with their mountains and all this stuff
so beautiful
so beautiful it would immediately
release serotonin within my body and I
would it would go from panic to
immediately taking that breath and feel
the Bliss and expectancy and excitement
of what where I'm going so they tell you
like when when you're you know I'm gonna
have a panic attack on the plane or
you're just feeling bad or whatever the
case is to think about where you're
going
think about what you're gonna do when
you get there don't think about the trip
just think about what you're gonna do
when you get there so those pictures of
the Denver skyline really helped me and
I came home and uh even though I was
still going through that weird stuff of
fighting the panic
I made my background on my computer
the Denver Scotland so anytime they were
a browser wasn't up or whatever I would
see it I brought it up on my phone and
just little things and in my head I was
like okay my whole life I've been
feeding this this fear of what's gonna
happen on the plane now I need to undo
that you know I started it by doing this
ascension and giving it to God and
seeing Jesus take it away and I felt
really good but you know sometimes they
come back so you got to continue to deal
with it and but that panic was real man
I could hurt me like it made me sick for
like two or three days I would watch
videos my wife's like quit watching
those videos I was like I can't I got to
know what I'm supposed to do
something goes down and I want to see
what it looks like in there and so I
ended up all the research and stuff like
that ended up trying to go to the doctor
to get something for my anxiety so I
went to the doctor and and a lot there's
a lot of stuff saying as Zanta xanax
does help or whatever so I go there and
tell them about my fear and they give me
some kalana pain pills and so I leave
with the kelana pen and I'm doing my
research and there's not a lot of
research about a lot of it with the fear
of flying it's like very mild you know
help and it doesn't like I want to be
sedated knocked out like that's how I
want to get over it right and but there
wasn't a lot of research about it
helping people with that severe people
who have anxiety disorders they would
take it and it helps them from time to
time so I was confident that it would
even though I was still scared because
it wasn't xanax it wasn't as powerful so
I was so scared to take it in and get on
the plane and it not work because there
was so much stuff I was reading where
people like yeah I got on the plane
didn't work took the klonopin took the
valium and it didn't work I freaked out
they had to stop the plane I was crying
I was screaming you know all of this
stuff on the plane and that's what I
thought that I was going to do but I
didn't want it to happen so and
similar-looking youtube history I didn't
want that to happen but I knew that if I
didn't take care of it it would so I
wanted to make the you know the right
precautions and um saying do the right
thing whatever it was gonna be and so
they was talking about how it didn't
work I want to show you guys this video
this is a scary video but there's a
bunch of these videos online and it's
like an ever you can get lost in these
videos and for you guys who are
listening it'll you you'll be able to
get the gist of it too so let's see so
here's the this video I want to show you
this is the dude panicking on a plane
you see the thing I knew that that's
what was gonna happen to me
I knew I was gonna be on there freaked
out ain't got to get me off you got to
get me out don't touch me like when you
start feeling that it's real man even if
it's only real in your head the mind is
powerful men everybody else is just like
you're just sitting around I'm a nice
guy and he's making other people
uncomfortable you know all that kind of
stuff but I just knew that that's what
was gonna happen so I'm just trying to
undo that and kind of think of a
beautiful place and what's gonna happen
when I get there so anyway come down the
day of the day of flying which was you
know was like four days four or five
days ago Friday we wake up I'm a little
nervous a little excited a little scared
but uh the nervous thing was uh and I I
explained to my wife and my daughter
the fear in me thinking imma open the
door and all that kind of stuff and I
scared them more than anything like
telling them and so my wife who was
super excited now my wife is freaking
out not freaked not for freaking out
about the flight but freaking out that
she's gonna get on the plane with me and
I'm gonna be like
I know
you notice that so she's scared now
she's scared to death you know to get on
the plane because of that how
embarrassing would that be you know man
so the day off in my mind you know yeah
my taking that into consideration okay
your wife your daughter make sure you
you know you got you got a handle your
stuff man you got to do it you can't
turn back and you can't hold back so
wake up that day and I'm feeling nervous
but nervous is good nervous is good it's
a new experience something different
nervous is good anxiety fear paranoia no
not good but anxiety is good I can deal
with that I remember like doing a lot of
concerts back in the day I'd be so
nervous to take the stage but I get up
there and kill it right and it's art
they started changing when that when
nervousness left when I could do shows
and I wasn't nervous so I could speak at
a conference and I wasn't nervous like
part of that not being nervous anymore
killed some of the magic for me because
I just got so used to it I another
concert another speaking engagement you
know so the nervous and the butterflies
were good so I identified that that
morning if he nervous was good panicking
isn't so get our bags packed everything
we go to the airport get dropped off and
I'm trying to stay level-headed I know I
got my pills in my in my bag - I didn't
take her say take it about uh an hour
before so we're we're sitting in the in
the lobby we go through TSA and and that
wasn't really nervous you're heard of a
small small airport that wasn't scary
but then we sit in the in the lobby
right there by the terminal waiting for
the plane to come and we had a good hour
and a half or so before the plane came
and I'm sitting there and I'm good for
the most part I'm still a little on edge
nervous then all of a sudden man it's
like as time get closer and closer and
closer and closer closer I felt it I
felt that anxiety raise up and I'm
trying to look I'm looking at pictures
of Denver on my phone boom
I feel good you know and it was going
back and forth day anxiety Denver
anxiety Paris you know but then like it
just started kicking in a little bit
more and like everything that everyone
was doing was freaking me out there was
this girl sitting a few seats away and
and she was just slamming a bag of
Cheetos I mean she was eating handfuls
of Cheetos and I'm like stop stop eating
the damn cheetah like it was messing
with my Seussical hands and there's
babies running around screaming all
these little things that would trigger
me because I was already on edge and I'm
like damn what if we get on the plane
and these babies are running around the
babies are crying and stuff and then
what if I'm next to this woman slamming
cheetah you know you saw playing out
these scenarios in your head and it's
bad and it cripples you fear false
evidence appearing real you know we got
songs about overcoming fear this is a
big though again my whole life I've
dealt with this I thought I would never
do it and I'm stepping into it so as I
felt that happened and then I felt that
fear gripped me in my stomach I said I'm
gonna take the medicine I took the pill
or whatever and I think it relaxed me a
little bit I felt better the biggest
thing is the placebo of knowing like
that my mind tied to that if I do this
then it will work if I take that pill
then I'm okay if I do this then I'm okay
if I get on here God is with me whatever
so the placebo was big it works off with
the mind and so I took the pillow
started feeling a little bit better and
try to you know again working through
the thoughts recognize the two R's
recognize that you're having a panic
attack recognize that you're feeling
different don't entertain it because you
start entertaining I had to like cut it
oh no uh-uh and then it the day before
I'm on Facebook scrolling and somebody
has a video it's a gift of them taking
off on a flight and they're filming out
the
and the plane takes off and the tire
falls off of the damn plane
you know like Oh Lord and I've seen that
the night before and then I'm trying to
think about it I want to tell my wife
about the video and I'm like nope I'm
not even going I'm not gonna speak it
I'm not gonna you're wrestling this war
that's happening within your mind so
again I to recognize it okay I'm having
a panic attack it's trying to come let
me adjust my breathing breathe deep into
my belly do it all the time I can feel
the immediate release when I changed my
breathing but sometimes that's not the
only thing that works recognize what's
happening and didn't respond so I'm
responding with the breath I'm
responding with looking at the pictures
of Denver or whatever it takes for me to
feel better something that immediately
brings you into a good place for some
people to think about sex you know
things like that is gonna immediately
make you feel good we go to get on the
plane board and I moved from doing the
practice and maybe the pill had
something to do with it but move from
being scared to like exciting excited so
we board the plane and as soon as we
walk through the door I'm thinking it's
gonna be this little haul like little
bitty but it was big it was a lot bigger
than I thought it's a lot bigger than
maybe some of the videos I've seen or
the video didn't really show how big it
was but I walked in there with
confidence and went and sat down with my
wife and we found our seats and fear was
gone the fear just disappeared when I
got on the plane and I was excited and
about it all cuz I studied that the
turbulence you know they say turbulence
is natural like don't freak out most
most of the studies I did all the
research I watched is when when
turbulence is what did it for people
they're on the plane everything's flying
good the plane shakes a little bit we go
die and that's when it would kick in so
all the study and I did it's like look
it's natural it's like driving over a
pothole or whatever you know the wind
changes and these planes are made to do
this and studying you know they do this
every day there's over a million people
in in the air like at any given time
flying around the world that brings you
a little comfort
it's the safest way to travel that
brings your comfort especially I've been
driving with people who drive crazy like
people driving like a bat out of hell I
have more of a chance of dying in a car
wreck with these people than I do flying
on this airplane then we have a friend
who had a mom in one state in a dad in
another state and and the daughter would
fly by herself when she was a kid they
just put her on the plane and was I'm
thinking of that kid can do it and if
all these people can do it I could do it
I'm on the plane I'm feeling good we
take off and it's awesome I'm just
excited to be in the air it's just a
whole it's almost like a supernatural
experience of something that like again
I've been fighting this my whole life
and thought that I would never overcome
it then I just kind of get to see this
little life review of you know I'm the
only one I'm the first one in my my
family to do this you know mom brother
sister dad like you know all these
people I'm the first one to kind of come
in and break that that that curse you
know over my life and then the levels
and the places and and things that God
has available for me I'm gonna be able
to embrace them with this fear and they
really want it really I had to hold back
tears because it was kind of emotional
for me of a monster that I had created
or was with me my entire life a Goliath
that lost his head that day and it was
crazy it was beautiful enjoyed it got
got off the plane in Denver had an
amazing experience the freaking
mountains and all that stuff were just
this beautiful and real and you know I'm
saying and in real life that then they
looked in the pictures and the air was
just so beautiful you know what I'm
saying all of it was just a beautiful
magical experience that I was able to
overcome and I was I was and I am so
excited and it feels like this again a
monster who's been with me and my family
and my whole life is dead
like it was destroyed that day this fear
of flying these other fears that we have
and there's so many fears
that we that we have and we have to get
over in there obstacles we went to Red
Rocks which is in Denver which is
amazing too we got to see that and just
the fact that if I would have said no
then I had fun but it brought me more
joy that my wife was able to see that
you know what I'm saying I was able to
bless her with that because I moved that
obstacle out of the way out you know cut
the head off of that giant and so
beautiful encounter I got to marry my
friends and the wedding was beautiful
and got to meet them and so many other
people that we online community gaming
and stuff like that they were all there
so I got to meet all these people who
knew who I was and it was just a whole
beautiful experience man but then the
flight back same thing nothing he's got
on it was excited like I was like I'm
excited to get back on the plane there
was an excitement to fly and I and I
tell people I posted I you know I did
the Instagram story and shared it on
Facebook or whatever and people I mean I
loved flying and it's fun so much fun I
was waiting to get back on the flight
like I was ready to go home just so we
can get back on the flight and again was
just a beautiful fun experience it was
awesome and and I could tell you the
weight that is lifted off of me from
dealing with that and you know we
champion the inner work here we champion
doing the going after the hurt going
after the trauma figured like the
triggers okay when I watched that video
it triggered me it sent me to a dark
place it took my breath from me you know
what I'm saying I felt something was
there
and so we champion doing the inner
healing here and whatever it is that
triggers you to go after that thing that
giant to cut that you know Devils head
off men whatever it is if you know a lot
of a lot of you guys it's you know it's
the job thing it's I want to do this but
the finances don't line up I probably
I've missed my dream you know I should I
should have I'm in my 30s now I probably
should have tried when I was 19 to to go
after my dreams or maybe when I was 20
maybe I'm 40
50 years old so there's no there's no
way that I can accomplish my dream now
because I've waited too long and I've
got a family and I can't keep up with
bills and there's no way that I can do
it you know there's not a lot of money
and what I wanted to and so again
there's those reasons those if those are
fears false evidence appearing real the
universe is actually at your disposal
it's at your fingertips and you're
creating all these fears these reasons
not to and just how crazy my fear of
flying was your fear of stepping out and
your dream job it's the same thing your
fear of whatever it is that you want to
do your being it's in you it's not an
idea like these this is in you you want
to do it but you got all these reasons
not to some of you was asking a girl on
a date she's gonna say no I'm not her
type I'm too ugly I'm this I'm that
we're just friends if I do it it'll mess
the friendship up so you never execute
you never step out it's so many
different things for so many different
people but again looking at the Bible
for allegory it's Universal it's for
everything everyone you have to tackle
your own demons that are different for
so many people man I'm telling you
people who have been in sexual
situations and sexual trauma they can't
be with they can't even they can't enjoy
sex anymore because their mind goes back
to the trauma their mind goes back to
what happened to them when there was a
kid when they were molested by their
uncle by their brother so now they can't
enjoy sex you know what I'm saying it's
a trigger deal with that deal with it
because it's dealing with you you
letting that thing live there rent-free
in your mind most of us don't even know
it until we're confronted with it then
we're confronted with it and was like
man look I got to face you or walk away
and so many times we walk away we talk
our tails and leave did you fight them
you know coming up with these excuses
and listening to these stories and
people were talking about the excuses
they haven't flown in 50 years or
whatever and they would talk about the
excuses that they will come up when I
was like then I had excuses - I got
excuses I got a bunch of them I got a
war
my daughter got this you know I don't
have the money I'm sorry we can't you
know my wife has to work you know we got
to take my daughter to school I keep
coming up with him but you got to
conquer that fear because God has places
and things that he wants you to
experience but you stuck in shell
because of your fear you know fear again
false evidence appearing real
it's different for all of us but it's
the same we it's the same it's the same
mechanisms that goes on fight or flight
I see you got a lot of you guys talking
about in chat fight or flight one or the
other you can fight it or you can run
you know all that stuff exists for a
reason I think that you know growing up
the way I did and the way most of us did
it's like we want to be in control and
when you get on the plane you ain't in
control you got to trust a pilot you got
to trust this you got just that but you
know who what you got to trust you got
to trust God if God brought you to it
he'll bring you through it like if
that's your time to go then you're gonna
go right but you know you got so much
more ahead of you so much more that the
God has for you to do you hae never got
started so approaching it with that in
mind that God in the universe has got
you protected and there's things that
nothing can happen to you until you do
it
you have a mandate you have a scroll
that's written that God is the author
and finisher of it not no pilot not no
faulty engine not no you know job not no
boss not no spouse your spouse ain't
even the one that you wrote your story
they're in your story but they didn't
write it they're not the author and
finisher of that story and knowing that
you are one with the author and finisher
and you could write some things in their
subscription things you can kind of read
ahead you know and so that was a big one
for me knowing that I'm called to the
nation's and I'm called to go out and do
great things and and I'm not going to be
able to do it unless I get over that
fear so you need to conquer your fear
give it a name look at it and try any of
the things that I that I said like going
through hypnosis works there's so much
that would that we've went through with
inner healing and deliverance if again
some people would call it
we called it back in a day it's back in
2000 in 2001 Christian prophetic prayer
counseling is what we call it now they
call it Sozo there's different names and
it's just stuff like people are ready to
do the healing work but most of us who
just want to do it on our own time but
again go to the triggers the triggers
are good they're your friends because
you're cut you're bleeding never open
wound and when someone touches that open
wound it hurts you you don't want to be
hurt we don't like it we're not paying
freaks when somebody touches that open
wound we kind of move away from it we
get those people out of our lives who
touch touch that open wound some people
that self-sabotage every time you start
doing good you just start over
you burn bridges you do all kinds of
stuff because you're scared of people
getting close to you why because every
time someone gets close to you they
leave or they betray you every time I
get a good friend they do this so you
find ways to deal with it and your your
way of dealing with it is to not deal
with it
I act like it ain't real to act like
you're okay but you're not it's
hindering you ain't got no friends you
you know running from situations you're
gonna go in the church you you put all
these people in your mind in these boxes
that all preachers are all preachers
want my money all men are dogs all black
people want to rob me and beat me up
like there's a lot of weird you know all
Jews or there's some people believe that
Jew all Jewish people are money hungry
you know there's crazy stuff you got you
judging you yes it's a prejudice that's
not real it's only real in your head all
kinds of stuff man
Chris Gardner says we talk about fear he
says okay what about the fear of God you
must fear God that's a different type of
fear there's a healthy fear
there's a fear of me even I thought
about it don't jump out the plane even
though it like it's a fear don't do it
right there's healthy fears there's fear
there's a fear of the police right
there's a fear of the government and not
so much that it's an overwhelming
crippling fear but it's a respect that's
the type of fear it's talking about the
fear of the Lord is the beginning of
wisdom
the beginning of wisdom is the fear of
the Lord it's not to be scared like you
are scared of your parents when you come
home with a bad report card that was me
some of that kind of gets translated
over to the view of God but a healthy
fear that you respect that I respect
this that I respect the laws of nature
that I respect you know the laws of
gravity you know that I respect the
police because there's a healthy fear of
the police I don't I don't fear the
police after police ain't scared of them
okay I am I watch too many videos I
watched too many videos because I know
they're scared of you police are scared
of you walking up to the car on edge
with their hand on a gun some of them
with the gun already pulled out right so
there should be a healthy fear that
you're not gonna try to fight them
that's what I'm saying you're not gonna
try to fight the police we are but it's
a healthy fear man again if there's a
bunch of scriptures about and it's a
whole teaching in and of itself about
the fear of the Lord again the fear the
fear of the Lord is the beginning of
wisdom the fear of the Lord is to hate
evil right and it's not to be scared of
it but if there's a healthy respect and
so I think you should respect authority
I think you should respect you know
positions and people in power and not
try to because it you lose your life if
you don't it's some of us in as a fear
of animals there's adrenaline that comes
in you know an animalistic nature again
if we're sitting here it's fight or
flight if a lion comes in this room
right now where I'm doing this podcast
and tries to attack me I'm gonna do two
things i'ma fight try to fight him off
of me or I'm a flight i'ma run fight or
flight and that's what we're faced with
with what there anything in life and
it's it's a natural process of who we
are but it's having these healthy fears
and healthy triggers and healthy traumas
and trying to figure out what it is to
go through this stuff and not let it
rule you not let it hold you back it's
big man it's so many people again like
holding you back from your dream job
spouse and I know I work with you guys
on one-on-one levels we have community I
know where people are I've dealt with it
in my life I have friends who have dealt
with it and are dealing with it the
exchange of currency I can't quit this
job and start this cuz it doesn't pay I
got a big house my house is big can't
can't pay this bill I got a new car it's
an awesome car maybe you should get rid
of the awesome car and get a get a nice
car get a decent car get a reliable car
right it's about choices setting
yourself up to do that and you can do it
as much as you can the transitions for
fear and stuff like that and and
stepping into your destiny it comes with
a great price because it comes with
great reward and you have to move
yourself into a position where you're
willing to I know this one lady she was
on dr. Phil I knew her she used to go to
home meetings with us this church group
she was on dr. Phil she was a single mom
with two kids and and she was on there
because she couldn't pay bills and she
couldn't take care of the kids but she
always wore the finest of clothes always
had great jewelry you know always
pampered herself makeup haircuts every
other week and the kids and family was
suffering couldn't pay bills and they
had her on dr. Phil because she was
mismanaging what God has already given
her and if you would manage it whether
however many however much finances it is
I know most of us was like
well I don't have enough to manage
anyway I just got enough to barely pay
these people their bills and that's it
man is that you command us a lot of
stuff I know people have addictions and
stuff whether it's going out to eat if
you really look at in a month how many
times you go out to eat or you get fast
food or whatever like that money adds up
you know that was me when I was you know
dry I'd spend like a lot of money when I
was driving when I was working for a
living driving and uh and I eat fast
food and wouldn't make my lunch wouldn't
make sandwiches and but when I did we
begin to save money you know beginning
to cut our bills down and and see what
we can we can stop doing and you know
it's whether there's a gym membership
okay let's just work out at home you
know that's $50 a month you know at 3
months that's 150 bucks and just looking
at all these little ways where you can
kind of transition into what you want to
do but people they have you know this
lifestyle that they're they're living
beyond their means and so you know it's
what it's all one thing that Joyce Meyer
said about credit cards and the dangers
of them is the fact that you're spending
tomorrow's blessing today you got all
this credit card debt you've already
spent your blessings God wants to bless
you but you already reached into the pot
and you did it before its appointed time
and you got all this debt in credit
cards pay that stuff off man focus on
that you know people got cigarette habit
cigarettes are expensive now vaping
habits vaping is expensive weed habit
weed is expensive going out to eat going
out to eat is expensive and you do it
mult you you know do it one time but
look at the bigger picture look at
literally how much are you spending
people saving all kind of money who was
that a watchman shout out to watch me
watch me uh he quit smoking and then
quit drinking for a period of time he
wanted to save money for tattoos and he
wants some nice tattoos cost a lot of
money places where we go here and there
expensive than nice tattoo artists I
know y'all seen the work but he's like
okay i'ma quit drinking
number quit smoking and I'ma save the
money that I would spin drinking and
smoking Imus or
even if it's weed whatever and we'll put
that towards another account for my
tattoos guess what a couple months in
you got tattoo money more than enough
you know just start making the right
choices right decisions recapture that
dream look at ways that you can you can
step into it whatever your fear is man
you got to deal with it and again false
evidence appearing real it's only real
to you and that was a big thing to like
all these other people are fine but I'm
the one freaking out something wrong
with me something's wrong with me you
know because their BIOS is fine so I'm -
no I got to get over this it's holding
me back anyway that was my experience
this last week and we just got back in
yesterday from from our flight to Denver

see we did get to see the art child so
did you see blue surfer the giant horse
statue there yes so we did see the horse
statue which was coming coming in and
just I was seeing it yesterday morning
and we drove through and I seen it it's
huge this huge awesome statue but its
eyes are glowing red and we know Denver
Denver Broncos or whatever it's a big
horse but I said I've rebuked that demon
in Jesus name when I drove by it's fine
but no I'd seen the horse the horse was
cool but no I want to see the the
artwork so I'm sure we'll be back and

headquarters a lot of people believe
that there's like underground bases and
stuff there there was a lot of people

people are getting hit with fear out of
nowhere these days nowadays I don't
think that it's out of nowhere I just
think that things like its deep-rooted
traumas that we have that things break
and bring it up again I gave a bunch of
scenarios where it comes up you know and
we need to identify it and deal with it
whatever way we can through meditation
through breathing through the you know
the mind is so powerful guys like the
subconscious and you know what we do
with it and changing the way that we
identify with it in the way we look at
it you know of looking I mean we can
look back over our lives and probably
see things that we have prejudices about
and first impressions about that that
are lasting that were not good of
certain people
I mean I've talked about it in the past
I've had certain prejudices and
impressions growing up poor and about
rich people and I thought that all rich
people were snobs I thought all rich
people were stuck up you know all of
this kind of these ungodly beliefs that
weren't true and it wasn't until I met
rich people who were like legit people
or did good stuff with their money or
helped me when I needed help you know
what I'm saying and so there was things
that kind of got me through this weird
preconceived notion about rich people
whether it was from the movies that I
watched and it was always about the
ghetto and you know stuck-up people
rolling their windows up when they see
homeless people you know whatever it is
that it comes from childhood like it
wasn't it wasn't real
most of us had those stigmas about
Muslims about Islam about Hindus you
know and we have the so we put we put
them in boxes and it's these little
compartments that help us safely
identify these things because they're
threats or they're different than us and
we have to if when we see them and say
okay that's immediately that oh that's
of me you know it comes down to you know
the white woman sees the black guy and
walking on an alley and immediately
tucks her purse you know what I'm saying
as I hold on why you and you got
identify why don't you do that well I
watched a movie and there's just weird
fear that's there you know it's what
people groups
but empathy plays a huge part in it
putting yourself in those people's shoes
and so that's what in there were some
documentaries and things like that that
helped me for like understanding Muslims
or the war in Iraq you know again we
talked about it on this podcast the fact
that you know what if it was you that
these bombs were being dropped on what
would you do you know in in war it ain't
us
so there's a disassociation with it
again it comes out with with food and
and we're disassociated with our food
our food our not living sentient beings
because a hamburger don't talk to you a
hamburger don't get scared a chicken
tender don't cry when you cut it you
know what I'm saying like so we're
disassociated we just go to the store we
buy the food we eat it it's its food
it's not an animal it was never an
animal it was always a chicken nugget
that were created to eat so whatever it
is we have we're disassociated with it
until we watch PETA documentaries and we
changed the way our brain works we
changed the way that we see things we
change the way that we see people again
and this is this is something healthy
that we should do for many different
things whether it is for the animals
whether it is for the fear of flying or
whatever change the way that you view
things and your view of the things will
change so it's so in and these are just
the things that we're we're
knowledgeable about we have knowledge of
we know about these things there's so
much stuff on a subconscious level that
we don't even know if you don't work you
don't eat you know the fears and traumas
that are blocking you from your blessing
well if you you know there's a bunch of
them for me and I've talked about it
here even with the money and doing what
I love for a living I'm almost three
years in this now but there's this weird
thing that was just like ingrained in me
that time is money that I need it to so
when I was driving the truck if I was
making you know sixteen dollars an hour
so now that I'm I'm not driving a truck
each hour that passes by when I look at
the end of a day
I try to equate like what how much money
I made that day to what I was making on
that job and I have to undo that like I
mean like okay I would have made 150
dollars that day and I only made $30
today because someone bought a CD
someone bought on meditation you know
not knowing that I have stuff on the
back end that's passive income and
YouTube pays me and my people are buying
the CD that you don't get to see until
the end of the month and then there's
oil tea statements and you know there's
all kinds of money that's steadily
racking up every day which is the right
kind of money which I think is the money
that we all need you should never
exchange time for money so we have to
kind of get out of these mindsets of
like even though I know that I still my
mind aside okay I made $40 today and so
that's so and so so much less than I
would have made and I need to make more
money today it's a weird thing it's
ingrained in I did it for you know
30-some years not not 33 years I wasn't
working when I was a baby but again the
way we're brought up and seeing mom go
to work and mom's gone for a day so the
and she's gone all day so that means
she's gonna have more money you know
with innocence ingrained in us of what
money is in its currency and you can buy
stuff and you got to undo that you got
to move that stuff out of the way and
looking at ways that like you know money
is to have money means that dad's gonna
be gone you know for a lot of people
their dad walked out of town and so for
them to have a comfortable life and pay
the bills dad had to be gone for three
months and he'll come back and stay for
a week and so subconsciously
money means I have to be gone money
means I have to have time away from my
family and there's all these weird
subconscious ideas that you have with
money that's not godly it's demonic it's
hindering you so you don't want it now I
don't want your money I'm I'm good I'm
not willing to trade time away from my
family to have a nice car I'm not
willing to do that you know what I'm
saying so we have to go through these
blockages and stuff like that to get
that stuff out of the way so that we can
step into our dream job we can step into
our debt
Denis and money is just it's not what we
think it is it may be and we think it's
an exchange of energy but like money is
working for you money is uh I'm trying
to help I'm working on some courses and
stuff like that to take people under my
wing to really help them manifest this
stuff now we can talk about it and work
through it and do meditations and all
that's one thing but really trying to
take people under my wing - just like
map out what I did and what works for me
that's the only thing I can give you I
can give you what it worked for my
brother I can't give you what worked for
you know Tesla whoever these people or
what would work for Joe Rogan now you
can look at that stuff and you can copy
it right as far as stepping into it but
what I can like tangibly give you in the
spirit and teach you is only what's
worked for me other than that everything
else is theory it's not a reality for me
so that's that's the goal I'm working on
some stuff and just kind of mapping out
the stuff that I've done over the years
mister stuff I've had to get out of my
way
stuff I've had to contend for
spiritually the stuff I had to cry about
the stuff I had to give up and then the
stuff that I gained you know what I'm
saying and I think you know God is not a
respecter of persons so what it's
possible for one person is possible for
everybody there's ways to do it you
don't have to reinvent the wheel you
just gotta figure out who's already
doing it learn from them hopefully it's
somebody that you can ask questions to
and you know that's a hard one of having
everything under one roof I mean there's
a lot on YouTube and a lot of stuff but
really having everything under one roof
whether it's podcasting a lot of you
want to stop start podcasting there's
ways to do this there's errors there's
ways you do it wrong there's free ways
that you can do it podcasting but it's
not the right way I mean there's so much
that that people are doing that they
don't understand so being able to pay
that stuff forward and help other people
you indeed in the end are helping
yourself so I'm working on some courses
and stuff for that for that for you guys
2020s big man it's the year you know to
knock it out to add a zero to step into
it you know get and get all the stuff
out the way the stuff you know you need
to deal with that's a
whether it's come comes through
meditation or just an inner knowing or a
psychedelic journey you kind of
confronted with some of those things
that you need to get get out the way
some of the character flaws I drink too
much
I smoke too much I curse too much
whatever it is get those character flaws
out of the way so that you can step in
to the next level for the things that
God has to you you can't bring it into
you you look at too much pornography you
can't bring that with you into the next
level you look at you know too much it
is you eat too much you can't do that
you gotta exercise more there's things
that you got to leave behind so you can
step into the next level you got to let
go of this stuff in your hands so you
can receive what God has in his because
there's something better even though it
seems comfortable God is in the places
of discomfort obviously he's on the
airplane then he was there in Denver

you're hold on let me play out the good
scenarios let me counteract that stuff
let me counterbalance it all the bad

think about all the good things that are
happening that's gonna come into my life
this is gonna set me up where I get to
do this this is gonna open up doors for
me and going to the Bible the Bible says
your gift will make room for you right
that there's talents and those who
didn't use the talents they were taken
away from them and giving to somebody
else use your talents use your gift it's
for you you got something that somebody
needs man
you got something that somebody needs I
don't care if it's wisdom I don't care
if it's healing some of you guys know
how to do beautiful esoteric healing
practices talking to her brother this
morning he's been able to see energy in
his hands and heat and when he touches
people they get healed in a field of
fire go through their body it's
something new he's stepping out in it
like you got something what if he don't
do it what if he's scared and doesn't do
it and nobody gets to benefit from it
his faith isn't built because when he
does it his faith is built the person
who's be you know has an ailment in that
area they're not getting healing so
because you're afraid you're not it's
not just you you're affecting other
people people need what you have your
family you know need you to step out
need you to step into your calling and
then the beautiful thing is it's like
how the universe works in paying it
forward is that you encouraging other
people to do it and I believe that like
in the midst of that when they step out
you're able to reap and receive benefits
of that because it's almost you know how
we have like a what they call it now I
wouldn't say pyramid schemes but like
MLM multi-level marketing and like so
you're at a level you sign on you sell
somebody a card and every time they use
this card you get money from it right
that was a big one
whether it was a Walmart gift card and
if you check out with this card then of
a certain percentage goes to you every
time that they spend something and then
it's the same thing they can sign people
up under them and people do this with
essential oils right they sell essential
oils and then they sign other people up
and then they sell essential oils and
it's a pyramid literally is people under
your hierarchy but it all trickles up it
all trickles up and and this is the way
to look at passive income as well it
trickles up it's a bunch of different
places making a little bit of money
making a little bit of income making
generating a little bit of energy but
it's all trickling up to where the
placebo the butterfly effect who started
it I did it
I did and so you understand where it's
coming from
does faith that is involved there's
expectancy that is involved there is
tapping into it that you can never take
out more than you put in you didn't put
in on this man you got to put in on it
and so you're storing up for yourselves
treasures in heaven and you have access
to that because you've been doing it and
so for every soul that is touched for
every person that is encouraged for
every every offshoot podcast that is
started every person who steps into
their dream job and encourages other
people
man I feel the benefits of that I know
it I don't always do it but when I'm
conscious of it and I look over it
sometimes we got to be reminded it does
something man
where it's trickling up and you know
what I'm saying and in the same people
people above me the people who have
encouraged me the people that I honor
the people that i vouched for you know
what I'm saying who I'll tell you like
it did you know certain people there's a
lot of people really because we're just
like we're influenced by people even if
we don't know it but I believe that
there is a wellspring there that that
we're tied into and that it's paid
forward for us and it is the resources
are there it might not always be money
most of the time it's not money right
but money is just something that
sustains you and it's a resource and
it's an income the resources are there
there's so much stuff that you've done
for free there's so much advice there's
so much so many prayers that you've done
for people that it in a Bible it's
called alms
it's your good deeds that you do these
before men that your Father in Heaven
will reward you openly pray to the
Father and secret I'll reward you openly
I'll whisper things in your ear that
nobody knows I'll give you information I
will show you things that are gonna not
only blow people's minds but it's gonna
transform their lives and I'm gonna
trust you with this responsibility
because you've been faithful you've
continued it up when you should have
should have quit you kept going I was
just testing you
just one see if you wanted to keep gonna
keep going
you company you really believe in it no
matter what nobody says no matter the
scrutiny most of us the first time
scrutiny comes we quit and I've
definitely done that I had to learn you
know first time there's a blog about you
first time somebody makes fun of you the
first time this and you you tear it down
trust me I've done it many times all
true seekers doing healing sessions for
people he charges for prayer there
screenshot in my messages and sharing
them with the Christian community and
they're laughing and never rebuking me
and all of this stuff and knowing that
God has called me to this and and
knowing that it was you know something
divinely ordained for me to do and
stepping out to and seeing so many
blessings in it and then uh you know
just because of the scrutiny and the
ridicule I deleted it oh I don't do you
know all that kind of stuff so you got
to work through that make sure that you
you you're called to it and if God gives
you the vision he'll also give you the
provision to see it happen there's many
different ways
there's people that God brings into your
life who are there to you know help you
finance division you can't do it by
yourself it takes a tribe it takes a
community you got to make sure that
you're helping people on the other end
whether it's money you might not have
money but you got resources there's a
there's a share button on your own
Facebook you can share that podcast you
can share that meditation you can share
that music you can share it and in your
helping that person and maybe that share
leads to a sale
maybe that share leads to a superfan
someone interviewed me on their podcast
and there was people who heard me and
fell in love with my message they've
never heard anything like it
they bought my book they bought my music
it helps me to keep doing this right so
it works that way because that person
opened up the door for me to be blessed
God is gonna open up doors for them to
be blessed but then you have to be
conscious of it again to pay it forward
anybody I mean and I hate to be like a
respecter of persons of this but my
tribe my crew like anything they want if
it's in my power to do it they got it
they've helped me they believe in me I
have so much energy it's I'm they're
gonna get help whatever it is if it's a
resource if it's
if it's that they continue to support I
got your back I got your back you know
and it's just how it works
there's I was raised that way you know
and I and I hope I hope you guys are
like that too you never bite the hand
that feeds you man I always look out for
people who are trying you know what I'm
saying and and as long as you're doing
that you're gonna be okay
you're gonna be blessed God has people
out there who have these people with
infinite resources you know what I'm
saying like this interview that we did
today you never know who you're gonna
touch man it's always a good idea to
stay in character not let anything or
anyone pull you out of your character
and stoop down to a lower level that
you've graduated from because people are
gonna try to do that and it'll mess you
up it'll set you back you'll learn stuff
it'll set you back but you can get right
back on that on that Highway you're
holding this man that that narrow path
and doing what you're supposed to do and
people cuz people are envious of that
when you're blessed when things that go
when people get mad oh I see I see y'all
getting blessed I work harder than him I
do this I do that
so but going back to the scriptures man
it's an inner knowing the book of Psalm
says you're blessed simply because you
believe that's why you're blessed you
know we don't do things to get blessings
it's just part of the order it just
comes with it you know and you believe
it and this word comes from again I
believe it trickles down and I've seen
it in my life and I've seen other people
step out I've seen people start podcasts
I've seen people go live on Facebook
I've seen people pray for the first time
and things happen you know what I'm
saying just because of me showing up and
it's not me it's God in me you know it's
me being obedient to the will and call
of God in my life same for you same for
you God is not a respecter of persons
all of these things that are applied to
me apply for you and then the people who
are levels ahead spiritually financially
what worked for them will work for you
for all of you
you know and that's what testimonies are
to brag about this stuff is to brag
about God not just to brag about me but
what God has done in my life he can also
do in yours for you to overcome that
fear of flying for you to overcome that
fear of you know being one paycheck away
from being on the street not being able
to pay your bills for you being stuck at
a dead-end job for the rest of your life
throw that fear down step into the
unknown you got one shot we talked about
reincarnation on here reincarnation
ain't got nothin to do with this it's
about execution it's about doing it in
this life the 24 hours that you've been
given is the same 24 hours that I have
in a day we need to be faithful with it
and show that we honor God and we
believe in it and I'm telling you though
you know all things are possible to him
that believeth the end of the day just
like nothing is possible for them who
don't believe so universal law man
I believe it I'm receiving it I'm
walking in it and this is only the
beginning and thank you guys for riding

sow into something like this every
person that I touch you touch as well

that we do it because no we're waiting
for other people to do the things that
God is calling us to do and you got to
execute whatever it is
god I believe it's paid forward men
purpose and graces what's the best way
to know something as a sign to do
something but it may be a trick
I don't know I don't know about the
trick things even if something gets you
off course for a little bit that's a
fear like I don't want to do it because
maybe it's the devil trying to take from
me maybe it's a trick all things work
together for the good of those who love
him and who are called according to his
purpose all things work together no
matter where you at no matter what
you're going through God is working
something out for your good with the
enemy meant for destruction
God will in turn use for your glory what
was a test was going to be turned into a
testimony
there's no set I mean we all we've all
experienced setbacks and had to question
ourselves and it was just a right
mistake maybe for the time it wasn't but
God has a supernatural way of turning it
around for your good so first of all
it's believing that and knowing it but
knowing that that doing the right thing
is always right doing the right thing
doing what you know you're supposed to
do you're helping people you're doing
good against there is no law God always
honors that you're moving in faith
you're stepping out so looking for the
signs make sure that you are able to
hear the voice of the father Jesus says
my sheep know my voice and a strangers
voice they will not follow learn the
strangers voice you've got to learn it
it has a different sound it's and it's
never gonna tell you to do anything good
you know but it's to ask and if then the
feeling won't go away you know and so
for me it's been like you know I've
given examples like when I first started
working I had my first extra hundred
dollars and I was gonna go buy some
clothes I was excited to go spend my
money we were spending some time in
prayer and we're praying for somebody
and I'm praying for a guy who's actually
a dude who let me
Lord and I knew he was going through
financial trouble but I heard the voice
of the Lord speak to me
so clear and said get take that hundred
dollars out of your pocket and slip it
in his pocket without him knowing
and it's the first time I really heard
the this inner knowing this quickening
from God speak to me in this way cuz I'm
like no hold on my mind this is how my
mind works I immediately go check the
devil check the other side write the
positive and negative I go to the
negative okay what if this is the devil
what if this is my mind trying to take
this blessing away from me I've been
working this is the first hundred
dollars that we got we're gonna go spend
it and but it wouldn't go away
I felt like it was God if it's if you
rebuke it and it doesn't go away knoweth
no that it's God it's there for a reason
and it's gonna help somebody you're
helping somebody but we feel like we're
being taken away from them like
something's being taken away from us and
it's blessing somebody else somebody who
needs it so I'll pull my wife to the
side and say hey I feel like God is
speaking to me to give this hundred
dollars to brother Barry I know they're
going through some financial stuff but I
really feel like it's God I don't think
it's my own empathy I don't think that
it's my own mind and she said well if
you feel that it's the Lord then do it
and so we're praying or whatever he's
praying for somebody and I just kind of
go up behind him and I fold it really
soft and stick it in his pocket
hopefully without him knowing that I did
it and he didn't acknowledge it or
nothing so we went away we kept praying
whatever you know we did that so it's
like did the devil to steal my hundred
dollars for those new clothes that I
want and within a couple months past
maybe two or three months past and so we
were at home and we were new to the
faith it was just a couple months in
Christians and God was still like
blowing our minds with the supernatural
and faith and him showing up and and
these are like foundational things from
for my faith so we're at a we're at home
and it's around Christmas time we don't
have enough money to pay bills
and so I go out I was at work after work
I went mud riding with some friends and
we lived in a little 30 foot camper
trailer really small and I came home
after mud ridin they dropped me off and
I go inside and my wife has has worship
music on and she's on her knees crying
and I in for some reason my mind
immediately goes to the negative stuff
as I am i late that she like you know
scared that something happened to me she
praying for me so I walk in sighs hey
what's going on she's crying she hands
me this letter and she hands me a letter
and it looks like a little kid wrote it
it's written in crayon and it's really
bad handwriting and it just says Merry
Christmas Aaron and Derek and open it up
and it's a hundred dollar bill and and I
begin to cry we just begin to praise God
and thank God together because he is
Jehovah Jireh our provider he knows what
we need even before we ask of it so that
hundred dollars that we sewn a couple
months before when we was being obedient
to the Lord God in turn gave it back
when we needed it so that we were short
a hundred dollars on our bill it was
going to be we had to pay our rent and
it was a hundred bucks and we had a
hundred dollar bill show up and I'm
pretty sure it was from the same guy
that we blessed I never told him about
our situation never told him we needed a
hundred dollars nothing like that he
hears from the Lord and it's this way of
just just testing your faith and growing
your faith your faith is tested so it
can grow you can grow you step out and
you see the miraculous and you step out
again and there's bigger things if God
can't trust you $100 he's not gonna
trust you with a thousand if you can't
trust you with a thousand he can't trust
you with a hundred thousand so he if the
scripture says if God can find you
faithful with the few he'll make you
ruler over more so just in terms of like
that God building our faith faith and
letting us know look I got you man I
even asked the guy hey did you give us
the money he never told her but it was
just it was it was enough and it came
right
time it's always we read the scriptures
in this a lot of times that's at 11:59
right at that 12 o'clock hour where
there is no way God comes through kicks
the door down and says boom here I am on
the God who makes the way where there is
no way every time throughout the
scriptures within our own life God shows
up and shows out and so that's what
happened for us and that really built
our faith and so you know I write about
it in the book you know going into the
prophetic and hearing God's voice and
how to respond to God's voice it's off
of faith but it's to teach you something
and there are other times where God
spoke to me and I did it and other
miraculous things happen people were
healed revival broke out the winds of
heaven moved in a service because I did
something or whatever the case is and
little little things it's like okay if
we step out this happens but then I've
also seen the other side not a lot but a
couple because it doesn't take a lot of
hearing that voice hey do this I got you
trust me and then you're like hold on
it's the devil and then when you don't
do it you grieve the Holy Spirit because
you didn't do what the Holy Spirit was
asking you to do because he wanted to
show himself strong in you and he wanted
to move in in in it but he's a gentleman
it's the perfect gentleman so is a
cooperation of working with God versus
working against him so the Holy Spirit
will come and to ask you something to do
to step out to pray to go ask that
stranger if they need prayer tell that
stranger that I haven't forgot about
them no that's silly I'm gonna do you
know little things and so you know I
talked about it in the book and I've
talked about on here a million times but
being in a place at the grocery store
where God says to pay for this lady's
groceries and I only had enough to pay I
only had enough to pay for our groceries
and to get a bite to eat after so I
didn't harden my heart to that voice of
the Holy Spirit which because we beg God
to use us this was in a state of the
prophetic of we're like we're looking
for God to use this guy show yourself
strong what speak to speak to us what
can we say like we will go out and
walk through the mall and just being
this inner state of Prayer say okay God
what would you say to these people what
do you want me to say and God would set
up divine employment so it's something
that we're actively engaging so then
when we're at Walmart we're asking for
those things too but it's like hey pay
for this lady's food was I hold on I
only have enough to pay for my food and
to get us all burgers when we leave
which was literally like ten bucks is
all we had and this was the early day so
what didn't have a lot of money so it's
voice of God speaking to me do it pay
for her groceries a little old lady and
I looked up and she had a banana and
like just a few canned goods but I'm
like no if I and my mind went to the
devil again the negative the devil
trying to take away my dinner I'm not
gonna be able to eat dinner because the
devil wants me to buy this old lady's
food how rational how it's it's the war
of the mind I'm just telling you the
little things that come up and how we
deal with it and try to push it out when
we know we're supposed to do the right
thing and we just keep saying no no no
no no until we can't hear it anymore
and that's what happened so it's like by
the food do the the good deed I kept
saying no I had my reasons I have my
excuses just like the plane I had my
reasons I had my excuses so the lady
goes to pay for her own food and they
ring it up and they tell her the price
which was like three dollars 350 ma'am
and I just said oh let me let me put
some of this back so she gets like two
or three canned goods and puts it back
and paste was a banana and one can good
and while she's doing that I'm like oh
my god and I'll tell the story a
thousand times but it always makes me
want to cry I learned so much from this
and so I didn't pay for her food and
they put it back she buys her banana and
her canned goods they put in the bag she
walks out the door we move forward pay
for our stuff and leave and right when I
step through the front door I just feel
this mmm this punch in his stomach felt
like something punching me in the
stomach
this grieve grieving the Holy Spirit of
like you missed an opportunity such a
small opportunity wasn't asking you to
give her ten thousand dollars wasn't
asking you to
you know offer her a ride or what I just
asked you to give her three dollars you
know but uh but wasn't able to do it and
the heaviness and the guilt that I felt
there because I knew I heard God and I
tried to question it and so I learned
when you hear the voice of the Holy
Spirit speaking to you when you feel
that quickening to do this go there
don't go to you look in the scriptures
it was all throughout the scriptures go
to this city talk to this person they
have something for you they're gonna
give you something this person has money
for you you know how like it doesn't
offer and finisher of this faith and
it's really fun it's really cool it's
very interesting you learn to be
obedient because you never want to feel
like that again once you feel that the
grieving the Holy Spirit you never want
to feel that again it's the most
gut-wrenching feeling that you miss God
that you did something that you wasn't
supposed to do and suddenly we're
begging to hear from God we're begging
to be used of the Holy Spirit so what's
he do he sets up situations an
opportunity you really want to be used
okay here's a small one this one only
costs you three dollars but it's gonna
cost you your pride that three dollars
in the spirit is worth a lot more than
three dollars so but again did I
I miss God you know but but but that
lesson of me getting off the path and
not doing the right thing I learned so
much I learned so much so much that I
learned from that so it was kind of
worth it and I think God knew I think
the Lord knew that I wasn't gonna do it
he had something he wanted to teach me
and it was the only way that he can
teach me is what's allowing me to go
through that and feel that so I really
do believe that and yeah just about
being obedient to the voice about what
I'm supposed to do where I'm where I'm
supposed to go many different ways to
embody that I talk about prayer a
quickening and inner knowing a lot of
times for me when somebody approaches me
what an opportunity I already know like
I'm already in a state where I can say
yes or no
most of the time I'm sorry you want to
do this it's automatic yeah let's do it
we're doing it hey you want to come here
you want to speak of this and get yeah
let's do it a lot of other people I've
met they're like let me pray about it
and I found out that - let me pray about
it is an easy way to say no because they
never get back with you so I think that
we know our spirit if we're following
the voice of the Holy Spirit if we're on
that path
let our yes be yes and our nobody no and
a lot of times we instantly know if
we're connected to the father's heart
and we're led by the Holy Spirit we
instantly know hey do you guys want to
do this now there's logistics in talking
to other people and family and what you
know stuff like that making plans for
other people but when it comes to me
like a lot of times somebody hits me
with something instantly now we're not
doing that or yes let's do it I can feel
it everyone's different some people have
to pray about it and but they never get
back with you so you know you kind of
take that as an easy way that's a
Christian way to say no without letting
a person down so all of this I'm sharing
with you guys just to build your faith
because God is not a respecter of
persons I'm nobody special helps it's
for you to you know you felt that and or
you're going to feel that if you've
never felt it you've never experienced
that just because I spoke it and you
heard it now it's releasing and
unlocking something with you faith comes
by hearing and hearing by the Word of
God so if you hearing literally hearing
these testimonies and these experiences
build your faith so that when you're in
that situation you're gonna remember
this talk you're gonna remember I gotta
say yeah it's only gonna cost me this
much money whatever and you're gonna
step out in it and again if God can
trust you with the few he'll make you
ruler over more that's a universal law
when it comes to the Scriptures being
faithful being a good steward what what
God has given you you're asking for more
but you're not faithful with what you've
already been given time is a big one or
I just I get so tired at work and I just
can't I don't feel like doing it I don't
feel like look you got Windows I say I
wrote the majority of my albums at work
in between stuff or I pull out of
and just wrap the verse and the
text-to-speech and gonna get home and
dissect it and spend some time like you
got time cuz you got time for other
stuff you got time for Netflix that's
why I'm always you know I like to
consume content but I like to make
content more you know so you got time
use it wisely Shelley says I was taking
photos at a cemetery
I stopped to straighten some flowers
that have blown over at a soldier's
grave just after that a woman pulls up
stops and complimented my hair C changed
today
garner says I've never had much money to
give but I'm gifted at fixing things it
feels like a responsibility to help
people by service for sure because if
you don't use it to be taken away and
most of the time it's not money that's
the funny thing sometimes it is most of
the times it has nothing to do with
money I learned that by when I was doing
a lot of gospel music I would record
people for free I would do their artwork
make album covers for free stuff that I
that I charge good money now to do but
at the time I would do it for free just
because like the joy it brought to me
for one to create that I had a hand in
that and that didn't exist without me
that's huge for creators but for - it
was just like look this is I'm good at
it I learned how to do it I want to pay
it forward so you know and most of the
times I never got anything in return for
those people now it did hurt a little
bit whenever I would ask for stuff and
they wouldn't help or you know that kind
of stuff kind of hurt but not I felt
like everybody kind of operated off for
that code but they don't you know what
I'm saying but so that that still
shouldn't change the way you act not
about just doing everything for free but
just making sure you're going out of
your way to help people whatever it is
whether it's giving advice whether it's
you know and I like the way Todd white
says it changes that the perspective of
the of the conversation - because Todd
white says the reason that I walk into
these encounters and I'm blessed
he says because people are not an
inconvenience for me for most people
other people's situations confrontations
are an inconvenience dealing I don't
like people I just don't like being
around people right so being around
people or you know that kind of stuff
isn't inconvenience you don't want to do
it so you look at you know every every
person every day every situation is an
opportunity to speak love to walk in
love to bless them what I mean for some
just a simple good morning you know what
I'm saying just just acknowledging
somebody who's you know and it's
different for everybody and then when
you get to tap into the spirit it
becomes even more fun because it's a
little bit more articulated they'll
calculate it even where you know what to
say or what to do or hey who's this
person to you hey I'm giving you this
money because God told me to you know
what I'm saying and it's the money to
pay their bills it's the money to get
that tire fixed we got to talk about
this all the time I'm here we got people
in the community and Christy folks is
Christie Johnson's a huge example she's
just been showing up in random places
and walking into like jobs and people
offering her jobs and people offering
her this and just different stuff that
she's stepping into just by being there
and being herself and being a light and
expecting God to show up in whatever way
and it becomes fun you're never alone
anymore you know what I'm saying that's
a big one so I hope that encourages you
guys it's encouraging to me and and
hearing these stories really helps so
and okay Chris garner says he saw judged
them by their works right you don't
judge them by your faith but by their
faith or what they believe because what
their works profess what they believe I
believe in this man I believe that we
should help the homeless I believe we
should do this but you don't never help
the homeless do you really believe that
or you think that but your your your
fruits your works prove what you believe
and that's how Jesus told us to judge
again you shall judge by them by their
works or you judge them by their fruits
why because it doesn't lie I can lie to
you about what I believe I can lie to
you about what I've seen
I've got even in this book there's like
so many just weird super far-out
encounters and stuff like that you can
lie about those kind of things you can't
lie about your fruit man you people lie
about stuff all the time
they fool people all the time but you
can't you can't fool your works your
fruit cuz a good tree is gonna produce
good fruit an apple tree is gonna give
you apples and orange fruit is gonna
give you oranges it doesn't lie so a bad
tree that's dying wilton it's probably
not gonna give you any fruit could give
you rotten fruit right judge people by
their fruit there's a great just kind of
judgement that the bible says the
spiritual man judges all things but he
himself is judged of none and due to
knowledge due to wisdom on that we're
always judging we got to make sure it's
a righteous type of judgment you're not
judging according to the flesh and
that's the difference between the way
that we judge in the way that God judges
and as we're conformed to the image of
Christ we take on his judgments our
judgements become righteous we're not
judged
we don't judge off a skin color we don't
judge off of you know what's happened to
us in the past we see through that we
move through it we work through it and
we say father let me see them how you
see them and then we begin to see life's
changed around us then we're beginning
to see doors opened up then we're begin
to see everything that the scripture
says that man judges by the outer
appearance but God judges by the heart
you could be so close to the heart of
God that you can feel the heart of men
you know when they're hurting you know
when they're lying you know when they're
going through stuff it's being empathic
but it's being discerning and therefore
you can respond with that okay this
person is hurting you know we talked
about at least I tried to talk about the
other day being in Walmart and just
feeling heaviness on you responding to
it look I'm telling you there's people
who are really good at this most of us
it comes in waves and the more we step
out in it and the more we believe it and
the more that we wanted in our lives we
begin to see the supernatural becoming
natural in our lives so
without being said I'm I said peace and
Shalom and thank you guys for hanging

enjoy just opening up with you guys and
talking about my inner struggle and the
airplane and all that kind of stuff of
getting through that fear working
through it again there's a monster
that's been defeated and and I can feel
it there's an opportunity and a window
and a new level that was unlocked like
in a video game once you defeat that
boss there's a new level that you get to
you fighting all these little minions
these little monsters are kind of
repetitive you know it's the same type
of heat things that you're fighting you
get really good and you know how they
shoot you know how to jump over to dodge
it or you know how to run right through
them but at the end you got to fight
that boss and that boss who's coming
he's a little bit different he's harder
he's got more energy he may have three
or four health bars he does moves that
you've never seen before but once you
defeat that boss and you may have to
fight him seven times but you and some
people turn the game off and they quit
cuz they can't beat the boss you got to
keep fighting them once you defeat that
boss a new level is unlocked a lot of
times when you fight those bosses you
get to take their weapons David took
Goliath sword and cut his head off he
used what God has given him to kill him
but he took his own sword and cut his
head off with the sword a new level was
unlocked a new achievement like on a
game when you reach that next level in
achievement I'm telling you this whole
thing I look at it like an RPG man it
the things we put in our body the things
that we're doing I get all you know the
situation's and relationships all of it
everything matters a new level has been
unlocked conquer that Giant look for
them some of these some of your bosses
your giant you know on the job you do
whatever he tells you
let them talk to you any type of dirty
way stand up for yourself you may lose
your job Ally stand up to them
know who you are and know who's your
who's you you are who you belong to
you don't belong to that dude yeah you
do for eight hours now blown - you
belong to God thanks for hanging out
