and jump into today's discussion joining
me today are my friends Andrea and Sarah
from the band the group shanthi shanthi
my friends welcome to the podcast how
are ya yeah man it was awesome when I
seen singers email come across and I
went to the website and checked out
their music I was like yeah this would
be an awesome interview so so I want to
say a huge thank you to you guys for
coming on and hanging out so you guys
have an awesome story and I've got a
bunch of questions for you and I'm sure
we're just gonna have fun but uh but for
people who don't know who you are just
kind of give like an introduction of who
you guys are which I bring to the table
kids years old we were spontaneously
able to read write chant and understand
the ancient language of Sanskrit and it
was spontaneous and we found that we
were able to chant the Vedas which are
the oldest part of Sanskrit and usually
that's reserved for Indian male pundits
over in India which is awesome but then
all of a sudden it showed up in two
white girls from Reno so it was weird
our parents were kind of blown away
they're like why couldn't you
spontaneously learn Spanish easier and
more practical and instead so we had
Sanskrit and then we just fell in love
with the way it made us feel and we
worked with our Father and created eight
albums we have our latest album that
came out last year and basically it's to
share the experience of the calming
effects of Sanskrit that you can apply
to your spiritual path the way that it
made us feel and the clarity the
coldness and we wanted to basically give
that to everybody to make that
accessible to everybody because it's not
it's obviously not something that
everybody does you know people you don't
run across a lot of people that chant
Latin or say I'm screwed specifically
even more so so we wanted to make it
available to you know every masses not
just in
but also everyone could have that's
awesome and uh you know on the show when
I talk to people about their spiritual
experiences and stuff I always go back
to the childhood stuff because that's
like where everything started what was
going on and this is just an interesting
story that spontaneously you guys were
just weird you guys were just chanting
this with you you guys were writing it
as well all of this stuff that was
coming out of you that nobody taught you
guys right we also wanted to make sure
that it was really Sanskrit they they
were a little you probably thought the
opposite like you know my kids have made
up their own language and they've got
dictionaries and what the words mean but
like no this is an ancient you know
saying spiritual language that exists on
the earth that was kind of like
downloaded to you guys right corner I'm
just making up this weird language
that's awesome man so and everything
comes back to the childhood memories for
me and what got you into then obviously
that played a huge role in your life and
shaped you guys for what you doing today
and you guys were seven and nine when
that happened right there is nothing
everything is very real you know the
experiences are very real they're more
powerful they are very innocent innocent
you don't have your brain
all these things sound that the pure
experience nor the stresses of the world
have gotten to you yet at seven and nine
so we loved this was all we did we just
loved it
and so even when you guys are chanting
it now the peaceful euphoric experience
that you guys create chanting but it's
also a connection back to the childhood
innocence so it even has more power for
you right well what does that mean what
does that mean so some people would want
to know what the shanthi shanthi mean it
means peace but it's not like a hippy
peace like chill it means like the
Shalom peace that you hear in Hebrew yes
very very profound peace that you
experience when residing with just God
and yourself
what if somebody was to chant or say ohm
shanthi shanthi what would that mean you
can almost trace everything back to
Sanskrit the word actually is originally
where the word Amen came from so that's
just a mantra it's the sound of creation
and then shot and then shanti shanti
shanti always hit three times and that's
for lots of different reasons it could
be for the different levels of creation
you know for different levels of heaven
they say it three times because it
invokes you notice in spirituality
there's always a trinity in ancient
Eastern teachings there's a Trinity
obviously in Catholicism there's a
Trinity there's always always three
times that's awesome so like what are
the benefits for chanting Sanskrit or
even writing in or listening to it what
are the benefits that that people could
take away from you guys talk about
creating like this place of peace where
like changes the vibration and we'll
call it that right it makes you feel
peaceful and again you know ohm shanthi
shanthi is peace peace peace be upon you
the Shalom and rest and all of that
stuff that comes with it it's all
together right expose this language to
the masses and obviously through
religion
regardless of what your religion is we
are searching and wanting to clarify the
meaning of life and to tap into the
divine and Sanskrit is a way is the is a
tool that we use to directly do both of
those to enhance regardless of what your
spiritual path is is to enhance those
two things helps clear the mind it helps
at home the muddy waters as they say in
Buddhism those waters gonna be so money
you can't feel yourself you can't say I
can't hear myself think when you can't
hear yourself think you can't hear God
either
so sometimes it's good to take have a
tool that's a very intense tool and
listening to the Vedic recitations is a
tool to quiet the mind so you can hear
it be one with the divine yes because
that is ultimately our goal we're not
here to you know money and crazy family
and everything else that we end up as
the years go on in our lives it just
gets harder and harder and you know the
weight on our shoulders gets heavier and
heavier we are here to try to figure out
how to break through that and still be
that true essence of what we were born
with and that we experience much easier
as children and as adults we want to
reach a pin to that and so that Sanskrit
is a way for us to do that and obviously
we still use it on a daily basis to be
able to do that and to increase also
just increase consciousness in the world
more people that chant these pure
vibrational tones that are just prayers
to God the higher we resonate and the
higher we resonate the less of the
uglier darker more negative things in
the world that are clouding and
sometimes you can't have that fullness
of life because life is so as she said
so heavy and it's so cluttered and
there's so much noise and most of that
noise is pretty entertaining so we keep
going back to it almost as a form of
addiction Wow sometimes you need
something that just cuts right through
that yeah it has those pure tones so
does Latin actually you're chanted like
the Gregorian chant does
say it is a very pure very powerful
clarifying of the mind the words have
the same vibrational aspects of what you
are speaking about so the word and the
object are the same in sanskrit so when
you say it it is the same vibrations of
that actual thing
the ancient Rishi's honestly now it
cannot happen because the world is so
dense but in the ancient times the
Rishi's could or the seers could could
say the Sanskrit word and have it
manifest and that is because the tones
were pure and they were very enlightened
and able to do that obviously in this
crazy busy world I don't know if
anyone's doing that now but used to be
able to that it's awesome you guys talk
about the like the religious aspect of
it too and like what's the goal to make
people more conscious and aware of being
present and in the moment versus you
know all the other chatter and stuff
like that and I think that uh you know
mindfulness and meditation all that
stuff kind of comes with it and that's
one thing that I did write down here
that you heard y'all talk about in
another interview talking about the rise
in consciousness and it's really just
focusing on the divine so whenever we
talk about this so people like we told
you guys I did another episode couple
months ago with a lady talking about
Sanskrit and how powerful it was and
there was immediately like people in the
chat who were like oh you guys are
talking about Hindu like they thought
like that Sanskrit was immediately tied
into it just only privy to like a
religious idea and you had to be a Hindu
to even share the benefits of this
ancient language where does that come in
with people of all faiths right you guys
you guys respect everyone and you guys
aren't necessarily Hindu you're talking
about you have a beautiful relationship
with Jesus and you guys are practicing
Catholics as well but tapping into the
ancient Sanskrit language how do you
reconcile the two there with with you
know I'm saying faith in Christ and it's
not like a religious you know language
at that actually predates Oh Hinduism is
the oldest you can trace it back it is
so old it is a very out of India but
before that we're a set of writings
called the Vedas and the teachings out
that came the Vedas were we're
mathematics and science astrology
astronomy architecture medicine so those
teachings predate Hinduism those
teachings were in Sanskrit Sanskrit is a
language and you can use the language
just like you know you can I can be any
religion and do yoga no yoga actually
technically comes from that vedic time
the vedas which are the ancient writings
and books there's four books and out of
these came all this beautiful poetry
very about a physical poetry and then
also lots of knowledge about all the
sciences all use very very all the time
still to this day yes so and a lot of
you the natural medicine and a lot of
the concepts in even regular allopathic
medicine came out of the Vedas but to
answer your question Sanskrit is a tool
and it is a language and yes it is it
used in Hinduism it's also used in
Buddhism it's also used in Taoism and it
pops up but now it's become kind of
mainstream like with Oprah and I know a
few years ago actually quite a few years
ago Madonna did a song and had some
Sanskrit its mainstream people say you
know my diet guru oh the political
pundits it's actually it's it's a it's a
language it's and it's a language that
has very pure vibrations so you can
apply it to wherever you'd like a
universal language we have fans that are
totally atheist but that listen to
Sanskrit all looks there's quotes of
them saying that they all look to the
Vedas for all their knowledge Tesla a
lot of those early and a lot of our
science actually they used the man who
invented the concept of the periodic
table did based on the Sanskrit alphabet
to be tremendously in the 1800s that
whole concept of how the Sanskrit
alphabet is laid out is very similar to
how the periodic table of elements is
laid out it is the perfected language it
is very scientific as well and as you
can see it's applicable to every
originally it was going to be the
language of computers because it had
such a binary element to it
yeah we are we are practicing Catholics
I we adore our faith and I've found a
huge piece on that but then Sanskrit is
wonderful for meditation is wonderful
for chanting prayers most of ours we do
are pretty universal it'd be hard to
argue with with the meanings of the
stuff just basically invoking God asking
for clarity and light and blessings and
enlightenment and those sort of things
and have a deeper connection with our
Creator it seems like there's there's a
beauty and like an underlying message
that you guys talked about and some of
the chants talked about as well like
being able to see God in everything in
every facet of our life of our reality
that if you trace it back and look into
it or meditate upon it you'll see the
hand of God in everything is that kind
of one of the underlying messages as
well and one funny thing you religion
and she just told me this this morning
so I always joke my husband is a very
practicing Catholic very deeply
religious man and I said you know I said
it's actually the Catholics fault that
we have Sanskrit it's entirely their
fault because I tell you this and my
sister is going to add her part but in a
1700s the Jesuit priests which are the
aspect of the Catholic order that are
very scholarly they discovered Sanskrit
when they went over to Indian they were
like oh my goodness this is really neat
and very profound and they brought it
back I mean the Jesuit priest brought it
in the 1700s to the West and exposed
everybody and so I always teased my
husband I said well is actually the
Catholics fault that we have Sanskrit
here in the West it would have just
stayed in India because they were
completely mesmerized by the prayerful
effect that it had in the Rig Veda which
is one of the four Vedas the oldest of
the origins of Jesus Christ so the
origins of his of his prediction that
he's coming right so we thought that was
that was a wonderful beautiful thing and
it just goes to show you and they found
out in the 1500 because they were
studying with
books like oh my gosh there is record
these people also started foreseeing the
coming of Christ which was which would
predate the Old Testament which is kind
of cool if you think about it so they're
all interlinked and I think we're all
really striving to connect with God to
have find the meaning of life what is
there why are we here and where are we
going
yeah for sure
I think that's the the question that all
of us have deep down somewhere and we
look for things that help us to cope
with that or explain that and some of us
it's very easy concepts and we get it
okay that's it this is the truth that's
in others it's like it's really complex
and there's levels and angles and we're
just obsessed with it you know and
explaining not only where we're going
when we leave but why are we here
you don't I'm saying some people are
just fascinated to know that when they
die they're going to heaven of it some
people are hold on what is my purpose
what is this existence oh it's beautiful
that these ideas and poetry's and things
like that written in these scriptures
kind of like you know stimulate the mind
to make you ask the deeper questions in
life you know yeah so like as far as
like the Hindu texts and things like
that for me I'll say this so I look I
look for the similarities and things
right so I definitely I've come from a
Christian background and I'm a believer
in Christ and that's my tradition my
spiritual practice but it almost seems
like like whenever I read the Bible like
the people and the figures there's like
these allegories of like they represent
at least in the Old Testament they
represent things in my life or they even
do you have different names for God like
Jehovah Jireh jehova rapha jehova nissi
Alissa's means like the Lord my provider
the Lord my helper the Lord my strong
tower like anything that you need me to
be this God the Hebrew God is like I'll
be it for you and so there's different
aspects that we get to see and and we
get to know God from these other aspects
and so that's a way of like a Hebrew
understanding there's the Sanskrit and
in in like the the Hindu faith kind of
point back to that too cuz a lot of
people would say something like
well there's you know 3000 gods or
whatever limitless gods but for me of my
little understanding it's almost like
they point back to the one like these
are an emanation or an aspect of the
creator and these are different ways for
us to kind of look and see an image a
personification that points back to the
one is that kind of how it works a
little bit in my all for what and that
breaks into the different Saints and
stuff too with the Catholics right it
all is based on God Brahma and that
breaks into a trinity to the maintainer
the destroyer of ignorance and the
creator and then that breaks into more
aspects so it's it's still one God and
he is manifesting himself in ways trying
to get our attention and then they have
allegories too they are later on they
have the story of the bhagavad-gita they
have the story of their ramayana they
have their stories as well and they are
you know they're their heroes and they
have the people who connected with God
actually if you want to watch a really
easy way to watch a Hindu story and
watch The Legend of Bagger Vance it's
actually the story of the bhagavad-gita
and Bagger Vance the word in it one of
the words that it's aspect for God is
how Kevon so Bagger Vance and then the
head golfer guy his name's are Juna and
the head head chariot driver in the
story the bhagavad-gita is Arjuna the
same characters but it's set in
obviously I was in the 30s in the US so
if you want to watch if you want to see
a Hindu story manifest itself watch them
Legend of Bagger Vance even more
allegory right I guess interact with us
trying to get our attention because the
we everyone can relate to it somehow and
in Hinduism yes it's the same thing oh
there it is one God manifest as many and
and the more you study it the more you
realize that I
I think the majority of religions the
more you study in the more you look into
it or you have a very similar story but
like not everybody's gonna go that deep
they just look at the one it's just God
and that's it you know what I'm saying
versus like the fractals of seeing him
or it in everything you know that's the
beauty of how they one experience there
is no wrong or right just how they see
it and that's fine and we are in no way
have any desire to try and say oh you
have to think you think what you think
you believe which is believed and you
can you come from where you are you
can't people cannot be further or along
than they're supposed to be no but none
of us can we can we also back terribly
right that's the whole that's the whole
you know the song and dance with the
divine and everybody like talks about
how they're like you know cuz sometimes
we feel we had to the Bible talks about
how pride cometh before a fall and we
feel so enlightening we feel so on top
of the world and then one thing brings
us back and reminds us that we are human
and we're having this human experience
versus being so lofty and
hours and hours in meditation and being
a spiritual teacher or whatever the case
is but so hold on I'm human and I'm I
was put here to to experience this this
life and in the beauty and the pain and
the sorrow of it all and so you know
helping us cope with that religion
definitely helps us cope with that and
it gets us to appreciate it and I don't
think it's a form of escapism obviously
some people use it as escapism but it's
about being very present and enjoying
every aspect of this life you swear you
swear that you swore it's like we are
horribly flawed people and that's okay
that's part of the experience yep it's
okay
so you got started off chanting Sanskrit
and getting these downloads if you will
but then you guys started looking into
Latin in in Hebrew and I'm more partial
to Hebrew that's what I've studied and
some of the chants in the prayers and
there's obviously all the similarities
and there's power and you you know
connecting with it what are some of the
things of the of the Hebrew texts and
things like that that stood out to you
guys that's being beautiful as well each
and when you say each always indicate
one in each each one of us each well
that in Hebrew is huh and in Sanskrit
meaning one singular obviously with a
lot of things but we did we love we
might be loved champion Hebrew as long
as Latin because they both they also
have their root languages that also have
sound effects which is really neat one
of the main things that we actually end
up learning a section I was for when we
were like teenagers our church they
wanted the original they wanted the
original Hebrew that Jesus said on the
cross my God my God why have you
forsaken me and that was we learned that
because priests was like I need to
Hebrew for this one thing it's funny
when you say is Sanskrit people just
give you every dead language or every I
was in Catholic school and once I told
them I was doing Sanskrit which I didn't
actually want to my mother said shut do
not tell anybody anything just be quiet
and then some of the kids started having
dreams and they're like I had to come
out of the spiritual closet and say yes
I do Sanskrit but then I started getting
pulled out of the class by the priests
and nuns because they had all this Latin
work they wanted me to do you would do
this will you translate this and I was
like just do it you'll be fine and I was
just a stupid kid I was like yeah sure
Wow now as far as like we're looking at
these other languages and they're
beautiful I think they're magical
languages and and the
powerful if we're talking about Sanskrit
all my Hebrew even Latin Greek and
things like that like when we talk about
the English language some people would
say that it's like the English language
is not as powerful my studies on the
English language I feel like it's very
much a magical language like it takes
the pieces of everything and compiles it
together I feel like the English
language is like meticulously created to
have spells like our words or power
right this is this is come this comes
from Hebrew this comes from Sanskrit as
well to understand the power abracadabra
create as I speak it I'm creating it and
and things like that so what about some
of that those ideas that cross over into
the English language with are there any
Sanskrit words or ideas that that cross
over that stand out to you which means
that comes from the Sanskrit word which
means feet to stay to stand to be still
goes to the Latin story and then to the
Sanskrit word studies that have been
done on the effects of English has on
has on things on a cellular level
so they've you know they'll sit and say
horrible things to a plant in a month
and the plant just dissolves so and then
they say beautiful things and love and
or the you know dr. moto studies with
crystals and how beautiful they became
when you keep just the word love and
obviously this was not in Sanskrit but
it does it shows you even in English it
is and we always say that English is
just a watered down version of all these
ancient languages but it still holds a
very profound effect and obviously also
your intentions when you say them if
these are good words regardless of the
language that it is in it has a huge
impact on on whatever you're saying it -
whether that be a plant or a person or
and also I think English is neat in the
fact there's a poetic that we can use
there's it there's an ability to express
ourselves with tremendous intricacy in
the language that I think
English English possesses that the
ancient languages are neat and very
meditative the English language gives us
gives us the tools to describe those
experiences you have to you like have to
describe it because like and I'm just
coming from Hebraic root like even the
word love like what kind of love like we
have to describe what kind of love that
is and you have a love for your friend
you have a love for God you have a love
for a chocolate you know there's
different levels and different
relationships that we have with that
word and and they have different words
in Hebrew and in Sanskrit but in English
we have to like describe that love and
tell you more about it versus just using
this word and so that's something that's
been lost as well and it helps us to
kind of dive in deeper to the ancient
texts as well to really get a deeper
meaning of what they were trying to
convey at the time because us in English
it's a little bit of its lost and we
have to study we have to concentrate
exactly we have a program that we came
out with just a couple months ago right
before the coronavirus situation
happened and they're just bija mantras
they're in there and you just chant them
slowly and they are so profound and
they're very very simple it's called
healing mantras and that was just for
that reason that you could bombard your
system bombard all yourselves with those
perfect basic CMOS anybody can do it and
they don't they're not really um they're
not really they're not being done for
the meaning they're being done for the
vibratory quality and I'm actually have
it on our website under healing mantras
and you get this whole course and a
meditation video and can chant along
with the video these very peaceful very
simple almost yeah and the meanings are
important but the the way it makes you
feel and the way it vibrates your whole
body but I was working on it in the
studio is across from our bedroom my
husband's like please put that on
headphones please start making as you're
making me high as it does it just
raises your energy level raises your
vibration and it feels incredible so we
created a course that everyone could
just download very pure vibrations very
pure simple seed mantras so everyone can
go tap into this and go and see is a
chant the Vedas you can listen to the
Vedas and enjoy that and then chant
healing mantras that you can fill your
body with that's awesome whenever we do
spiritual practice we do a lot of prayer
a lot of breath work and stuff and a lot
of that comes from from India as well
right and so there's some there's some
chance that I'd really love to do and
and I go back to both that there's some
Hebrew chants that we like to do and
there's also some Sanskrit stuff that we
like to do in it it changes the
vibration of the room that you're
sitting in like you said people feel
like they're high because it's like this
higher vibrational frequency that you're
tapping into and their ancient prayers
their ancient poems even that set the
intention and it permeates the
atmosphere just looking at the power of
words one of the ones that I like to do
is ramadasa are you guys familiar with
that one yeah but it's neat it's fun to
sing and that one's cute everyone likes
someone but it's kind of our healing
mantras has a similar experience to that
and that's that was reasonably creative
people are like oh I like listening
Tomatoes now I want to do that myself
and and it's like so we created a way
that they can have that quickly but we
have own one of the pieces that we if
you want us to sing for you we did it's
actually Sanskrit but we wrote it to
sound like Latin and it's about Jesus
yeah and it's cool but it's
that was awesome
beautiful yes no I can even like when
you guys go high you can feel like the
energy like being in up high and as you
can feel it like if you were meditating
or if I were if I knew the words the
thing with you it would just totally put
you in that and that state for sure like
so and it sounds beautiful but what are
you saying would it would like what are
you like what was the idea that you were
trying to get across about Jesus in that
because it was beautiful thank you he
came here to bring to connect with us
and to have compassion with us and to
remove the sin or karma depends on your
talking east or west to help removers
the sin and karma from the world and to
bring about a state of heaven on earth
ourselves creation in ourselves
do y'all have that recorded on anything
yet it was used on a TV show
flash-forward
Wow that's awesome
you guys were also on a GT is that
correct America's Got Talent no no this
is chants Sanskrit and then they had a
pop tune it was about taking your
clothes I like sing got it now too and
I'm we were stupid and did yes we did
and we should know remember it was so
stupid and they just wanted to see if we
could do both and and being young and
not thinking about it we just said it we
just saying oh whatever they asked us to
sing well we did get to chant a big we
got just chant two things in Sanskrit
but then they wanted to tease us they
wanted to tease us so and we fell for it
just hook line sinker
there's something there's something that
you guys a chant and I would just want
to know the meaning of this as well
something you guys sing about and I
think this is even in English when used
to sing it but it's a walking with the
Davis what are the Davis second album
and Sarah drew these little angel
figures Photoshop the Angels in with my
sister and I stretching and shrinking
before like it right now they can do
anything all the sophistication but at
that time it wasn't it was so the day
was I angels yes have you guys ever had
any supernatural experiences with with
the angelic or seeing angels or Jesus or
any of these dreams or anything like
that lots of dreams I cannot believe I
am we then couldn't hear anything here
and we did this all the time because
obviously we were used to happen to me I
used to go to metal shows heavy metal
shows ok the vibration it makes us so
weak we always chant outward and give
that to the because ill it'll fry it is
very Sanskrit buzz yes yeah the Sanskrit
buzz which we used to be getting in
trouble because they say is irreverent
to say that but yeah
raises your vibration we were chanting
yeah exactly so that's a little cool
experience and also just like I have
experienced and I know my sisters is a
time that slows down so when you are in
heightened states of spiritual awareness
you become almost superhuman time slows
down and you see things with tremendous
clarity colors are vibrant and life is
very interactive and you see things as
the Creator and tended us to see things
that's incredible
you could do all your energy centers in
your body open and you just are this
clear superhuman version of yourself but
not in a weird way not in a magical I
wouldn't say it's magical I'd say it's
who were actually really supposed to be
yeah without all the clutter and all
tapping back into it almost right yes
absolutely and I think it's it's who we
probably are on the other side after we
don't aren't limited by the stresses and
the difficulty of your body so even with
that being said that that idea of like
your body kind of vibrating and
radiating at a frequency when we talk
about ohm chanting ohm and a lot of
people say it's not ohm it's um a um and
um and that M it kind of feels like it's
up here like it's stimulating your third
eye like it's vibrating is that is that
something that that happens when you're
doing some of these chants like differ
it like activates different parts of the
body specifically the third eye or
something like that well AUM still
spells ohm but what they're doing is
they're bringing it into a trinity of
sounds mm-hmm and actually Sarah can do
an ohm I don't know if he's up for it
I'm hearing her on the spot um she can
chant ohm and cover all the Sanskrit
alphabet mouth positions sorry I just do
that actually didn't but and it's cool
and it does it and that's why AUM
is indicative of it covering all the
different covers the whole spectrum in
the body energy centers in the body of
your chakras not chakra chakra chakras
are owls and chakras are the energy
centers in your body and those all look
like lotuses and you have them all the
way starting at the base of your back
all the way to the top of your head are
lotuses and as they open Sanskrit can be
used
absolutely and yoga and meditation and
breathing techniques can be used to open
these energy centers to give you a more
intense human experience I don't know if
the lady had when she so Sara and I also
teach Sanskrit Sanskrit class the
workbook is based on the alphabet and we
do we focus on using the mouth and the
different meridians of the mouth because
it stimulates different parts of the
brain you go pituitary gland different
elements of the brain are stimulated by
hitting these different pressure points
on in your mouth chanting their brains
are bigger and they have more gray
matter and these are scientific studies
not making us she studied the scans
people who chanted Sanskrit the Vedas
specifically and people who did not and
it is completely different it was really
neat so it's pretty much just learning
how to maybe enter the flow state and
just like slow the brain down as far as
like getting all of the the chatter out
it's like once you get really good at it
then you're you're like
that becomes your new plum line like
your plum line isn't chaos and confusing
and running your plum line is a peace
and a balance of life and they're even
showing that in in these brain scans as
well right there's a lot of articles we
put them on our own Facebook page just
because every time I see them like this
is awesome we've been saying this for
years and so well Sanskrit is not the
most practical language you're not gonna
go to Sanskrit land to get to speak it
at the airport but you own but it is a
good tool that's always talked about it
is a tool for clay creating that clarity
in the mind so you can you can think and
you can be a better version of yourself
have you guys been named vibrations we
have we have negative vibrations out
there and that's where all the ugly are
aspects of life from then we also have
the pure very the celestial the
spiritual the godly the divine
vibrations out there too and those are
harder to grab and pull into oneself
obviously we struggle throughout our
entire lifetimes doing it we have our
moments and then our Falls and Sanskrit
it's like plucking those out and you
grab them and you pull them into
yourself and you don't have to learn
Sanskrit although that's awesome you can
also just listen to it it's everything
you can play it in your house and watch
your watch your plants I'll get really
big because their cells like it too time
and contemplation time it's time to go
back and refine yourself and this has
been a good time I would say for all
society even though to tap into their
real self to tap into their their more
peaceful moans you know if you pull the
string too tight it snaps and I see a
view that before this whole run of a
virus we were all pulling the string
really really tight and it was just kind
of like where do you even go from here
life is so hectic and so crazy and then
this just we just slackened the line and
I think that's this is a good time to
treat a pin to all these spiritual and
that's why everybody's getting more
spiritual and you can the good in the
world as you're seeing so many what
people do wonderful say
lots of giving lots of big heart lots of
compassion and I love how the TV hosts
are all saying okay god bless you and
I'm like oh I didn't even know you were
spiritual also know their religion and
their spirituality is coming out it's
just making me happy all these people
teaching meditation on TV so hopefully
we learn I think we are I think we're
all learning I mean I think we're given
creation we're given the earthy a chance
to breathe again too which is really
interesting like it's different being
out in nature now you know watching the
animals and feeling the wind like
putting your feet on the ground
everything's different out in nature
right now and that's what we're in right
now and we should enjoy it but Mari she
you know the man who teach who brought
about TM who taught the Beatles and then
now it's really popular among
celebrities TM we're and we practice TM
ourselves Transcendental Meditation but
he used talks about the bow and if
you've got to pull the bow back in order
for the arrow to go through if you're
never pulling the bow back the arrow is
never gonna go very far and so right now
we're pulling the bow back you're not
able to do it so pull your boat after
your so there's a level of insanity and
right now everyone's peaceful so when
the world goes off pause we're all gonna
be dynamic brilliant successful people
because we'll have taken a pause we'll
pull the bow back and we're ready to aim
do you think this is something that
obviously as a people we're doing that
but do you think there's something that
people need to like take advantage of
and make sure that they're doing it
themselves like doing the inward
reflection creating something that
they've always wanted to do and kind of
like when everything opens back up
they'll be in the perfect position where
they can birth that into creation right
really high anxiety right now and
they're kind of freaking out and but
sometimes you need that discomfort to
then have other things blossom out of it
because discomfort is what creates what
higher levels of spirituality emits what
makes you go try to find yourself and go
try to find deeper meanings and things
whereas before we had so many
distractions we weren't really doing
that because the mind was always
distracted by something by Facebook
Twitter or whatever
is going on in the world um and I think
you have kids oh my gosh they you're
driving them here and driving them there
and they need lunch and everybody needs
dinner and everyone's hungry in and now
it's so nice you just it's just total
peace
it'll drive everybody crazy if it goes
on long forever
but take advantage of it right now say
thank you that was a very special and we
all learned a lot of things during that
time about ourselves and about others
and we get there as you said we gave the
earth and the environment a break and
I'm hoping I don't hope you learned
something from hopefully man we're
definitely at a precipice and we can
make some really good changes and
choices right now hopefully we'll do
that oil is dropping like the price of
oil that you're gonna have to like pay
people to come get the oil and take the
oil hopefully man with this whole free
energy and green energy movement and
things like that just kind of kind of uh
you know blossom and flourish from this
and hopefully we make some changes that
we need to be making as a as a people
would be awesome have you guys been to
India well the kids would really like to
go to her two daughters are two and five
and minor three and six so they're still
a little young right now it's like it's
still fun cuz the world is really I
think the Internet's created a state of
unity consciousness you want to talk to
somebody from India you can talk
immediately you can be you can be
anywhere and with anybody instantly and
so there's kind of unity consciousness
so kind of India's everywhere now but
you guys were talking with people from
India early on right you guys were
getting some pretty strange phone calls
and stuff yes when y'all were younger we
studied with with professors and pundits
and we had a lot of here in Rio when we
were younger and we were you know we
first been initiated into Transcendental
Meditation there was various individuals
that were bringing people over from
India teaching
annotation and beta concepts doing doing
them the soap puja switcher is a
ceremony of thanksgiving because we're
in Reno and obviously there's gambling
and the most extreme on both their most
extreme so they were bringing their just
some really cool stuff we were little
and we can we're trying to keep we're
trying to continue that on yes lots of
neat meditation groups vegetarianism was
not like a novel thing and it was a more
innocent time and now we wrote a song
perfectly capturing not only our
description of you know the innocence of
what we grew up in and then how much
things have changed and then who are we
in the midst of all this and then this
is obviously very applicable to right
now as well because who the heck are we
when you have to stand still yes in our
new album it's kind of the ultimate
existential question of who am i serious
like you really know who you are and you
don't you know and and then the illusory
aspects of like the illusions of life
that distract you from finding your true
self which obviously we are always
battling against scary right for some
people like to really find out who you
are outside of what you do you know
really well I am rich that's who I am
well you're rich until you're not or
you're poor until you're not so who are
you you're you're neither rich or poor
you are you are something greater than
both of those oh you're a human until
you're not you know because it gets
deeper like there's layers to the onion
and I am NOT my job or I am NOT you know
this persona that I've become right I'm
just I'm one with everything and this
layers to that and I really think that
spirituality and spiritual practice
really help us to actually hone in on
the present moment versus like undoing
all of these layers of who we are and
introducing ourselves and this is my
title and I'm a podcaster and I'm this
this is this is temporary we're just
passing through but it's like they
eternal
essence of where we came from again
asking the bigger questions and and not
in is scary for some people because
we're defined like our identity is in
what we do but we know that that's not
you know how it's supposed to be that's
not who we are as you said to peel away
those layers and then we okay with just
sitting with yourself your true self
because when you leave that's all you're
taking with you don't take any of this
when we leave we're not sanskrit singers
and and you're not a podcaster what
you're something yeah you're greater
than that and you're this is a role that
you're playing you know it was at
Shakespeare's that all the world's a
stage mm-hmm right now we're all these
characters but these are not who we
really are it's awesome so you guys have

beautiful like because you can relate
like connect the dots some of the things
that they're saying about Sanskrit you
know I say about the Hebrew language I
say about reading the Psalms a magical
experience with with the Creator in
ancient language that's telling the
story these poems about life about
travail and if you encode them and look
deeper into them you find an encounter
or an experience with God because
everything points back to him so awesome
and how everything is connected man

the angelic so encounters with Jesus
angels miracles healings and things like

about dealing with the demonic demons
possession things like that spiritual
warfare so to go back and forth so do
one like video one dog video and not
just do all dark or all light and to try
to just give you just a bird's eye view
of what spiritual warfare it looks like
and there's two sides to every coin
there is the good there is the love and
there is the light but there is the
darkness and stuff and for me I think
this podcast and my story just kind of
paints a picture of what like a contrast
between the two like I appreciate the
light because I've been through the
darkness and the interesting thing is
like most people are they resonate with
the dark side because it's almost like
it's like default for a lot of people
like a lot of people come into this
world and they given our Delta a bad
hand or their default is just the easy
lower-level stuff that's you know
dealing with the darkness and so many
people have had encounters with you know
like sleep terrors and sleep paralysis
news those are some of my most popular
interviews is the dark stuff in the
angelic higher frequency stuff they're
not as popular but I think that all the
encounters every single one that leaves
us changed and gives us a bigger picture
when it comes to understanding the
spirit world and understanding God in
the nature of reality and how they exist
and you know giving us some type of
frame of reference for these these
encounters and so I've been doing that
both of them know the counters with
Jesus and feeling his presence and
tapping into his spirit and then demonic
possession sleep terror night terror I'm
gonna cover it all and really there's so
much that now that I've been kind of
writing out ideas about these videos
there's so much that I've kind of like
overlooked or like I felt like they
weren't like
really big pieces of the puzzle with
telling the story like I'll leave it out
and or just not mention it but now like
I'm doing overviews I'm like you know
what I'm gonna I'm gonna give this its
own video just one thing that was just
like it's like somebody asked me on one
of the videos like what are the names of
the demons that came out like going
through spirit possession whether I've
casted out demons out of people or had
them come out of me I'm gonna speak from
firsthand experience like I've been
through a lot of coming out of the
occult coming out of witchcraft like
I've had I've been through it the
screaming the cry in there I mean crazy
demonic laughter just wild
out-of-this-world
stuff and I'm just gonna be vulnerable
and open and honest and uh and key in on
some of the things that I don't talk
about as much or just kind of talk about
it just in passing so I'm gonna give it
its own story I'm telling you so they're
already like I'm getting a lot of a lot
of messages and emails about how it's
helping people and people who are
dealing with these type of entities like
you need help
right so like if you're dealing with the
darkness you need help to kind of step
out of the darkness and into the light
most of the people who are already in
the light you're already having angelic
encounters you're having beautiful
encounters with the Lord and stuff like
that you really you kind of got it
figured out you don't really you know
you're not looking for answers you're
not scouring the Internet you're not
messaging people looking for help you're
kind of good but it's people who are in
the negative they're still in the
darkness right now this is still their
story I'm so far removed from it that's
not my story about longshot anymore but
it's a part of who I am and so just to
remember that and to remember that
there's people who are still in that
they they're still in it they're still
struggling with addiction they're still
you know they got see demonic thoughts
and demons and things like that when
they closed their eyes and they don't
know how to shut it off so I think
speaking about this just kind of brings
it to the forefront and people
organically find these videos I'm
getting so many messages right now
because of this stuff and doing these
videos about the dark side because
people are looking for answers they're
looking for help and I've kind of made
it a thing to just organically pray for
people like if I do a video
what sharing a story about sleep
paralysis I'm gonna give you my story
I'm gonna give you some biblical
reference and then I'm gonna do a prayer
for anybody struggling with it cuz like
when when the Holy Spirit shows up you
know that stuff got to stop light and
dark doesn't coexist together
darkness is it's a place where there's
an absence of the light and so once the
light stops in the king of glory the Son
of God the light of the world steps down
into darkness your situation changes no
matter what you're dealing with no
matter what you're scared of no matter
what is showing itself to you so to be
really tactful and put myself in places
and in front of people who are dealing
with that stuff it's kind of what this
whole podcast is exist off of you guys
have been here long enough to know that
but I'll just be open and honest with
this story you know my story and there's
so much that I even forgot about or
overlook or don't think that it that
people would care to like okay let's
just give it its own own story you know
there's some interesting stuff guys I'm
gonna be it's gonna be kind of intricate
it's gonna get pretty far out weird
stuff but hey that's what people like
they like the demonic they like that
they're intrigued by that stuff and how
it works I was you know but I think
there's a right way and a wrong way to
engage with the spirit realm and I've
done both I've done it the wrong way
and I've done it the right way I don't
want to just be open and honest to to
help people right be open look just
that's what the podcast is this is
working that didn't work don't do it it
didn't work this works I'm seeing a lot
of progress in this area of my life
because I'm doing this and I interview
people from all walks of life and all
across the spectrum who are open and
honest about their walk listen I chant
Sanskrit beautiful prayers to to Jesus
and to God and it makes me feel good I
feel hi my body is buzzing I feel really
good after doing this hey let's try it
you know what I'm saying whatever is
working if everybody brought that piece
of the puzzle to the table and let us
know what's working for them and then
also let us know what didn't work I
think that we'll uh we will die that is
ascension you know I'm saying that is us
being able to move in a higher state of
consciousness and not have to fall into
the same
pitfalls because we're able to learn
from our own mistakes but a wise man
learns from the mistakes of others as
well so be open honest transparent
authenticity is key and just be open
with your story read some of these

come out you know what I'm saying I'm
not forcing anybody you can't force
anybody out you know idea I'm getting a
lot of messages too with people who have
family members who were in the dark
occult stuff or dark satanic stuff
witchcraft
like there's you know there's magic is
what we're doing like everything is
magic words are magic thoughts are magic
your prayers are magic right we're
dealing with spirituality but there's a
dark side to it as well like you can get
into the the opposite of light is dark
and a lot of people are still in that
stuff maybe you haven't experienced it
I'm removed from it I have to remind
myself but it gets dark there's some
dark stuff out there people are dealing
with with opening their mind through
like you know I'm saying like
pharmaceuticals and addiction and man it
gets dark and people are messaging me to
have family members and they need help
and they want to know how to get them
out of that and how to help them cope
and I'm just been open and honest with
when I was in it that's all I could do
I'm not gonna speak on anything else the
beautiful thing is I've been through the
whole spectrum of it counters and
experiences and things like that that I
feel like I have a right to speak on a
lot of this stuff and if all I'm doing
is being open and honest with my story
and this work then this didn't and if
you're looking for help this is what
helped me so Adam says a video about the
perception of what of what light and
dark is would be a good video from you
yeah I mean again going light in
darkness do it all going back and forth
from the videos you you you should get
to see that this is a video about the
light this is a video about it an
encounter with Christ and this is a
video about a encounter with a demon who
came to steal kill and destroy there are
beings out there that want to steal kill
and destroy and there is another being
out there that wants to bring life and
life more abundantly so there's a
difference they're all not the same all
beings aren't created the same they all
serve a purpose you know some of the
ones that come to steal kill and destroy
end up pointing you to the one that
brings life because you don't have a
contrast you don't know what life is
unless you've been through you know the
depths of darkness you can't appreciate
the marvelous light of Christ and so
just being open and honest with it and
it's helping people so you do the same
thing be open and honest about your
story open and honest about your
experience and if you help one it worked
and I'll go I read the comments and I've
it's way more than one so I'm already
good it helped one person a I'll do it
I'll make another one I'm gonna talk
about it just because I'm not going
through it anymore I do have experience
with it
I'm not glorifying that stuff but I want
to give a frame of reference and shout
out to you Adam Adam what you would hit
me up and say I feel like there's a lot
that you're holding back true seeker you
hold him back from us a little bit and I
want to get that out of you you know and
I Adam would always hit me up and say
that and I'm like well yeah there is so
you know and when I do the podcasts
which I feel like it takes up a lot of
time even though I'm doing two or three
a week and then interviews and those
kind of done I have to prepare them to
launch them and things like that so I
feel like it takes up a lot of time with
that being said I'm kind of at the at
the mercy of whatever the guest wants to
talk about and and that's from every
every range and walk of life whatever
they want to talk about whatever the
thing is we're gonna talk about if it's
aliens we're gonna talk about it if it's
prophetic we're gonna talk about it if
it's Jesus if it whatever and so I don't
think that there's anything that I can't
talk about but I meant kind of at the
mercy of hosting a show and creating
dialogue and
give them a room and do that so but in
the midst of that it kind of takes a lot
out of me of doing all of these
podcasting and uh and talking about
these stories that my own stuff I have
kind of held back because it just makes
it to where I haven't been a creating
content where I kind of like put my
story on the forefront I would say I
weave it into the podcast I weave it in
you know at the end even now kind of
open it up and I look for ways to share
my experiences that relate to the guest
who's on the show if they're talking
about sleep paralysis good the perfect
ground for me to talk about my
encounters but even even with that
format you got to be a podcast person
you got to be a livestream person if
you're not you got to be I mean we're on
hour and fifteen minutes that's
intimidating for a lot of people who's
in attention spans are really short you
know they're not gonna they're not gonna
listen to at the end of this but some of
you guys are so making these shorter
videos I think are gonna open up a lot
of doors and they already have I've got
about five out there if you had guys
have not had a chance to check them out
make sure that you go check them out I
did the one about a beautiful encounter
that I had with Jesus where we were and
I've shared this many times it's in my
book pray we were in prayer and I had
this beautiful vision of Jesus that
changed my life and he gave me his
burden which was a beautiful light
burden but it was also very very
traumatic and it was very hurtful and
painful to to see the world and feel the
pain that he went through but I went
into detail about that when in detail
about my encounter which is like my big
one or whatever with with pops and the
stealing from a witch in a warlock and
how an entity formed in front of us and
attacked me and my cousin the crazy
story changed my life I did a video
about that one did a video about the
power of worship of how when I was
coming out of witchcraft and I would get
crazy headed dealing with like streams
of schizophrenia if you will in states
of it even coming out of that and how it
was a long hard road to really walk in
spiritual victory and freedom and some
of the things that helped me and one of
the big
helpme was listening to worship music
and I would have I would you know if you
watched a video I would be having dinner
with my wife at a nice restaurant out of
town and I would just get overwhelmed by
all the voices talking at the same time
and I had to get up and leave hey take
the check and I just walk out and go sit
in the car and I had to put on worship
music and I've been around people like
that I've no friends who I'm up
you know hangouts and parties and the
same thing that happened to me happens
to them so I'm let them know how to get
through it some of them don't know how
to get through it some of them
self-medicate with alcohol or or pills
and things like that because it's so
overwhelming and it could because you'd
be because you're empathic because
you're able to see and hear into the
spirit realm you know what these people
are thinking all at one time it's
overwhelming but tapping into a state of
worship of honoring the father and me
immediately changes the situation so I
did a story on that and then did another
story yesterday I believe I put it out
day before yesterday was about my
baptism in the Holy Spirit and how I
came into relationship with Jesus and
that initial baptism into Christ and my
spirit merging with the Spirit of God as
he set his seal upon me he put his
spirit within me the Holy Spirit and
changed my life and how that felt and I
talk about it all the time but again I
feel like it deserves its own video so
