In this episode of The TruthSeekah Podcast TruthSeekah is joined by Lola Scarborough as they discuss her Spontaneous Kundalini Awakening.
There is a lot of misconception out there today when it comes to having a spontaneous Kundalini Awakening. It should not be something to be feared but it is something not to enter into lightly. During the interview Lola Scarborough said that it was very important to find a teacher. Find someone who is well-versed in the things of the spirit and who is willing not only to teach you but to walk beside you and help you through this new experience. There are many articles and blogs were people say that they have experienced mental dysphoria and madness by having a Kundalini Awakening. One must count the cost before stepping into such spiritual practices. Although a Kundalini Awakening is a euphoric beautiful experience, balancing the energies is a lifelong dedication that one may not turn back from. As Jesus has said in the Holy scriptures that if one puts his hand to the plow and looks back, he is not worthy of the Kingdom. Such is the same with a Kundalini Awakening and baptism of the Holy Spirit. It is one of the most exhilarating experiences that a person can have but again one must proceed with caution before Awakening the Divine Essence coiled at the base of the spine. During the interview we spoke about different practices that can help a person who is dealing with a spontaneous Kundalini Awakening. The Bible gives many references about walking in the spirit which is a spiritual fellowship with the divine and a daily routine that we must undergo. Prayer, meditation and mindfulness all help to co-create a balanced life when dealing with a spiritual awakening. It is the path of service to others instead of service to self; for in the service of others we indeed lend service to ourselves.
