Angie Duncan founded Hosea’s Heart in October of 2013 after attending a training with Strip Church/XXX Church and years of envisioning a survivor-led outreach to women in sex work in Knoxville. She is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, sex trafficking and work in the adult entertainment industry. She currently lives in Knoxville with her husband and three beautiful children and is completing her Bachelors Degree with a double major in Non-Profit Business Management and Bible and Theology at Johnson University. She is zealously committed to God, her family, her work, church, and her community. She is passionate about making known the issues surrounding sex trafficking, sexual exploitation, and sexual abuse as well as sharing the hope she found in Jesus to overcome.
