INSPIRIA Retreat
Our INSPIRIA Retreat was held in Knoxville, Tennessee on July 18-20th. It was an amazing time of fellowship, worship, and learning some new tools for our toolboxes to unlock our potential and expose the areas of our lives and bodies where we might be holding on to stagnant and stuck energies. We used fumigation with sage and sacred frankincense resin to clear and cleanse and prepare ourselves for communion with the Holy Spirit during worship and breath work practice. We also used frequency from our Sacred Sound Immersion with quartz crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, a gong, and more to shake up and lift up our own frequency into perfect harmony and drank Cacao to open our hearts to receive. John and Melissa Powell led a beautiful healing breath work practice, and they will be continuing to lead this practice for the public on Thursdays at 7pm in Knoxville at Inner Perfect Community Space.
What is a Cacao Ceremony and how can it benefit me?
A cacao ceremony is a sacred, heart-opening ritual that has been practiced for centuries by indigenous cultures in Central and South America. This ceremony involves the consumption of ceremonial-grade cacao, which is a raw, unprocessed form of chocolate known for its potent medicinal properties. The ritual is typically led by a facilitator who guides participants through meditation, intention setting, and sometimes, sharing or storytelling. The purpose of a cacao ceremony is to foster a deeper connection with oneself and others, promote emotional healing, and enhance spiritual insight. The cacao is believed to stimulate the release of feel-good hormones, create a sense of euphoria, and open the heart space, allowing for a profound experience of love and unity.
JoyFest 2024
We were blessed to be invited to attend the first JOYFEST in the United States with Company of Burning Hearts and Justin Paul Abraham and Rachel Abraham. The worship was led by the amazing Laura C and Janine Johns. We had an amazing experience and got fully immersed into the love of Christ and to see the church body functioning in love and beauty as it was meant to be was such an eye opening and healing experience. We also met Nancy Coen and many more amazing leaders in the Christian mystical movement. We loved each and every person we met, especially YOU! If you are one of our many supporters and listeners who came up to us to say thank you, we are more grateful than you know to be able to meet and spend time with each one of you.
What is JoyFest?
JoyFest 2024, organized by the Company of Burning Hearts, is a transformative gathering designed to celebrate and cultivate joy, spiritual awakening, and community. Rooted in the organization’s mission to ignite hearts with the love and presence of God, this festival brings together people from diverse backgrounds to engage in worship, inspirational teachings, and creative expressions of faith. JoyFest aims to create an atmosphere of divine encounter, where attendees can experience profound joy, deepen their spiritual journeys, and build lasting connections with like-minded individuals. Through music, art, and communal activities, the event seeks to inspire a renewed passion for life and faith, embodying the core values of the Company of Burning Hearts.
We are forever touched and changed by this beautiful experience and are so grateful to be alive and on this path in this time of shifting and changing and redeeming the things that belonged to God since the beginning and the people that have been pushed aside out of the Christian faith.
