um been uh hitting this brother up for a
while asking him
almost begging him for an interview
we're hitting him up maybe three years
or so something like that hey dude let's

and kind of last minute too we kind of

man uh you know a lot's happened for you
uh coming back to
hip-hop to the uh uh doing music and uh
putting out some stuff kind of i feel
like you'd be just been kind of like
testing the waters a little bit putting
out some
some material that you've been sitting
on just some stuff from like 10 years
ago that you
you know said goodbye to the genre and
uh
started focusing on other things and
you're making a comeback dude you did
your first concert in 10 years and
and put out an an album of some stuff
you were sitting on and
moving forward bro welcome back man yeah
it feels good but i'm still feeling it
from that show man that show
i'm exhausted from that show but it felt
good to be back man it was it was cool
talk a little bit about it man first
show back uh 10 years
you know people have been begging you to
come back nobody knew if you were coming
and
yeah you know put out some music and uh
some unreleased music anyway
and then uh did this concert how was it
like getting back on stage and it was
good man it actually feels like i'm
starting all over again
but it was good to do did the show it
was kind of tough
the the week before the show a lot of
issues with the venue and stuff trying
to decide it was kind of like last
minute too as well
uh but uh but yeah
and then supposed to covet and stuff but
the crowd was still good it wasn't big
big
but it wasn't small you know it was
actually perfect
like the people that were there they a
lot of them traveled like six
hours two hours one hour just to come
over there
a lot of hardcores were there it was
it was good i actually started um
i started getting my cardio up man about
three months when the show was announced
so
i hit that jump rope and just started
doing my cardio up and everything i lost
like 30 pounds and everything before
that show
i let myself go pretty bad man man we're
talking about you know doing the shows
and get back into it what about breath
control because you're like a really
fast rapper
and i'm i'm okay fast nothing like you
i get winded easily there's stuff that i
can do in the studio that i can't do
live i just can't do it i need a hype
man or whatever what about you for like
the breath control and stuff
are there words that you skip uh is
there a different there's an
art to it i don't know i think it's just
getting in that zone just go go go go go
man the plus like when i do it like i
i'm
i i move a lot like when i do the show
so like
i'm moving a lot and then i'm still
spitting out a lot pretty fast trying to
catch my breasts while i'm moving
uh it's tough man i don't know there's
any secrets or not i don't know i just
do it just just go and do i don't have
no hype man but that's probably why two
i have the back like a lot of people
nowadays too they don't like having the
backpacks and stuff yeah and i think
that's cool too
you know yeah sure you know respect if
you don't have bad tracks but at the
same time
you're not putting in that work on stage
you're not you don't i you know i don't
have a height man
and then and then i'm also
my music has different octaves different
things you know so going on so and
sometimes the people that they'll be
they'll talk
down on people oh you have back tracks
you have backtracks when you do a live
blah blah blah i see people talking crap
but at the same time i'm thinking like
well you don't but you you sound like
[Â __Â ] so
okay can i cuss on your thing or no yeah
you're good you're good
oh okay i don't know i don't know i
don't know it's pretty pretty spiritual
and stuff
yeah we're spiritual we we talk about it
all but um yeah man there was a there
was a
um a local concert a couple years ago
and some some local dudes
opened up for bone thugs and uh and
they're they're like bigger names
in the in the underground scene um and
it wasn't hardcore or nothing but they
opened up for bone thugs
and then the night uh the same night
after the concert they're all like going
in on bone thugs
for using backing tracks in their music
like they're like trying to like get
clout
on downing these legends because they
can't
you know wrap their stuff live or they
didn't want to or whatever the case was
i was like man
if you had any any idea like what goes
into that kind of stuff and then pulling
it off live and then you don't have a
you know one of the dudes didn't show up
maybe busy bone didn't show up and he
couldn't do his parts or whatever like
it's it's so crazy uh that's a big thing
though and i've experimented with it all
and i'm still
torn on what to do and how to mix my
vocals for live shows honestly i
i don't think whatever works for the
crowd it works for the show there's no
there's no there's no right and there's
no wrong i mean if it works it works do
it uh
backing or no backing it all depends on
the music too
and and how you deliver it and stuff but
but the show was good man it
felt so good so i actually i didn't even
i didn't even rehearse my set at all
and i probably should do it next time
because i was too busy trying to make
like a portable a portable set
uh like an actual like light so i
programmed the lights to the music
so i was really focusing on trying to
get the programming side of things done
and have it as a setup so if i do get
booked
i'm able to to transport it fairly small
i mean it was kind of a lot but
but not all crazy it was it was good
enough and i think it really made the
difference in the show too
it's how those lights and everything
yeah there's a difference between like
even
a lot of those people who are uh even
down and using backing tracks or
whatever there
there's a difference between putting on
a show or just being like
dropping bars or just being like a
hip-hop head there's a
difference between actually putting on a
show and having like
some type of theatrics or the light or
videos playing or whatever the case is
and so
i know you you i'm saying you're big
into like you know i'm saying rock and
metal and stuff as well and so
you when you come to i feel like when
you come to a just a regular hip-hop
show
if you've seen one you've seen them all
but if you go to a metal show
you can follow that band on tour and go
to every show and there's a different
energy something different every night
you know there's different stuff that
that you that you're a part of and so
that's one of the things that i think
that like the horror core artists have
embraced
like this metal genre of a following or
having a band or like a community of
people that are for something bigger
than just my hip-hop skills or whatever
whether it's
horror music horror core whether it's
you know whatever it is that
there's something different than just
being like another rapper would you say
yeah yeah for sure man for sure yep and
we bring something different to the
table the theatrics
or or whatever it's just and then plus
with me too like i just get in that zone
man i feel
i i feel that energy you know from the
from the people i i
the music though the music's different
to uh because it means a lot more to me
it's not just raps to me it's kind of a
lot of
i don't know there's a lot of
backstories behind it a lot of feelings
when i
made the music so when i'm on stage it
kind of brings it all out and stuff but
yeah man the underground scenes it's
dope man and there's there's there's
many undergrounds people like to say
like suicide boys and those other newer
dudes are underground but in my opinion
they're not really underground at all
i mean now i mean they're they're pretty
mainstream in my opinion
they're known but like there's a deeper
underground you know and a lot of these
cats that are
down below they they kill [Â __Â ] too you
know they just we're just not known
you know yeah yeah i was watching some
stuff today it's just it's different bro
i love
watching like i come from the metal
scene i've seen you played in some metal
bands as well right
um it's a different vibe man it's a
different vibe
um being in that that that hardcore
underground scene
and and having that uh camaraderie with
the music you know what i'm saying like
it's something something different about
that yes sir yep yep
joining the metal band too i learned a
lot too man and right they're actually
playing the show
uh on halloween this this sounded like a
reunion show
but i'm not going to be able to do it
but it'll be cool man but yeah i joined
the band
we were like one of the first bands one
of the first i mean there's a it was
it was right time to have eight string
guitars and and we were like one of the
few that started uh
having a guitars now it's like a lot of
bands have eight string guitars now yeah
giant music
yeah yeah yeah pretty gentle we're not
but we weren't really gently you know we
we just
man like they're just they were so
they're so talented man that the whole
band so
it was i love gent though man has this
definitely got us like
hip-hop vibes in it right it's like
hip-hop
those patterns you know they're they're
tricky you know they think like oh
they're just hitting one note but yeah
they're not just hitting what they're
hitting they're hitting a note to a
syncopated pattern that's kind of
it's not your typical type of beat you
know it's on beat but it's
it's different you're going up you're
going ups on the downs and downs on the
ups and then
i don't know all crazy [Â __Â ] yeah it's
good stuff man so um
i want to play just a little bit of your
music man just some of the uh
some of my favorite uh versus some of my
favorite tracks
just to give people who aren't familiar
with your music
familiar with your art just a little bit
of uh your flavor so i'm gonna play
one of my just real quick the only time
i listen to my music is only when i do
shows uh
i might i might walk oh i'm scared i'm
gonna walk away
you might not remember this one this is
one of my favorite ones

uh the beyond the beyond see i i haven't
seen that

description but i've never seen that one
yeah the whole all those clips and stuff
is from the whole songs you know
it's off to beyond so it kind of goes
with it uh that's what those clips
go through but yeah it's one of my
all-time favorite zombie movies it's
like in the 70s it's a full
film it's from the 70s really yeah it's
it's a italian horror man it's very very
old so
you know with me during that time story
you know for something like that to come
out it's just
i don't know i think it's from the 70s
yeah i could be wrong
it's been so long since i've got
something
god damn this thing's eating this [Â __Â ]
yeah there's some there's some gore
it's pretty seems pretty gory from some
of the highlights that you put in the
music video yeah man
it's uh italian horror back then they
used to do that it's kind of cheesy gore
and stuff but but
it it was cool you know i just thought
that film right there is a very
underrated zombie film uh
people are starting to know about it a
lot more now but when i saw it i thought
it was better than zombie
yeah i don't know if you've seen zombie
the the actual old zombie movie called
zombie
uh same director but but the beyond with
to me was my favorite
i have to watch it i have to check it
out um
you know just when you think you know a
lot about horror when horror like
is like your thing and then you find out
like you don't know [Â __Â ]
no that's not there's just so much
horror out there no i know exactly you
know what i'm saying like there's so
much so much so much and then even doing
trivia because i got some trivia
questions
and stuff for you just to kind of pick
your brain on some of these horror
movies and stuff just to see what you
know but
there's a lot out there man and we're
going to get into a little bit of that
i'm going to play just a little bit of
this next clip from a remix that you
were on
which i definitely uh uh you know i'm
saying really vibe this song
and then you were featured on this remix
i want to play a little bit of that from
your verse on this song

so so when i added my part i kind of
just did a little flip to it
just kind of you know change it up and

beats are dope man you and
and you're actually still making beats
you've been making beats for a while
just kind of getting your feet wet we're
like
it seems like coming back to music uh
getting started with beats and stuff you
want to talk a little bit about that for
yeah there's a lot of hip-hop heads
looking for beats and you got them and
they're good
yeah well i haven't made any new ones
since january
but uh but but they're still selling uh
but it um yeah
the main thing was trying to find other
ways to feed my family pretty much um
excuse me and then um and also to show
my wife too
like you know this is this is me you
know this is what i do
this is what i love to do i got to do it
it was
you know i'm not gonna feel completely i
had to do it man so i started doing the
beats the production stuff and then
kind of see how that went and showed up
and see the response and the response
was really good and
but people kept on telling me to come
back and come back and do music
and whatnot so that's when i decided to
release the album
and and everything but yeah so you're
back for good right you're back
you're ready to record new music you're
ready to get back into it
so the goal is right now for me is to
pretty much get caught up for the people
that i owe from
from when i stopped years ago so i'm
trying to get back together people that
you oh
yeah yeah dude these people been a hell
of a way more impatient
for me waiting for my ass uh i kind of
you know because i stopped and
and there's a lot of mental stuff i was
going through a lot of stuff
but when i stopped so but yeah i'm i'm
planning on
i'm almost done i'm getting everybody
caught up uh
that way once everyone's caught up and
on collabs and beats and stuff that i
that i owe
and then i'll probably start focusing on
so you owe collabs from like a long
night years ago
is it just word of mouth or is it paid

i felt like [Â __Â ] for years too yeah okay
everyone's like man yeah i'll try and
oh man paid collabs get get moved to the
front of the line man and you buy a
collab you buy a feature
like it gets moved in front of anything
but now like
i'm just i i'm really trying to focus
more running at like a business back
then you know it was cool and all but
for sure
it's different yeah and i was drinking a
lot too at the time
so i was doing stuff just to like i had
some issues man so i was doing stuff
just to you know if i was going i was
doing music full-time but
if i was going to go out the night and i
had no money i was like you know 25
exclusive
bam bam you know go out go to the bar
with 25 bucks
yeah oh 50 collab let's do it you know
yeah yeah bam oh 50 bucks tonight yeah
you don't just drink it and stuff so
and actually it's a long break but it
really helped me
uh to to to really focus on really i
wanted was it was a family and a wife
and everything and then
but to find myself and and to kind of
like i guess grow up in a sense
so but yeah did you have any kids back
then
yeah yeah so that's when i had my oldest
son
he's 14 now um but he
that's when i things started like things
really started slowing down for me
uh when i had him uh it it didn't stop
completely but
it was kind of i was kind of hitting the
brakes a little bit until i slowly
faded away and then i faded away died
nice back as a zombie yeah bringing it
back
dude let's talk a little bit about like
the influence and stuff as well
um like what are like i know like
people can can hear different things in
your music but what are your
musical influences and i know you can
probably give a a list of a hundred
artists that inspires what are the ones
you hear in that you hear in your in in
your music like even like hip-hop metal
all over the country like what do you
hear coming out of that stuff
yeah man so as far as rap goes like
memphis
under memphis underground music uh
and and that's pretty much and now i
kind of want people to know that
like when they hear my music like i want
people to know like oh yes this dude has
some memphis in it and i've always
wanted that i've always always paid
homage to
the memphis underground scene and and
not like and i'm not trying to take digs
but not like suicide boys and stuff
where they pretty much
they pretty much grab whatever they had
in memphis and they just took it and try
to claim it as their own
yeah you know for me i i was
heavily inspired by memphis but then i
was also inspired by like a lot of goth
music
uh and then some black metal a forced of
shadow stuff too
and um you know black tape for a blue
girl this is like gossip
switchblade symphony uh industrial music
then nine snails and bone thugs and all
that combined
so i kind of wanted a mixture of
everything and kind of just doing me
you know so that's a lot of it the
influences but a lot of it is from
memphis
when i first heard their stuff like
i think it was like three six mafias
lived by a rep um
when i first heard like kill a clan i
was just blown away i was like oh my
gosh
this is it right here it was so
beautiful the production the production
of dj paul and jesse jason do back in
the day it was
it was so beautiful dj paul is a beast
dude a creative genius for sure
i love going back like listening to like
because people make compilations where
like they'll show you the horror movies
that he sampled
you know what i'm saying and so he was
like really into his horror movies yeah
and
sampling that stuff and and even taking
the keys and reworking him a little bit
and stuff like that he's just a genius
yeah he's dope man there's there's some
other people that from what a dj
zerk uh uh blackout uh this these guys
weren't even known
paul was known stuff yeah there were
dudes there's dudes down there that were
putting in dope production too just like
him but they just didn't get that
recognition but
yeah that's where it comes from that's
what i believe man that's all i'm about
yeah and you can hear that in the music
and i've always like even with my
production and stuff like
i tell people like you know you can hear
corn you can hear a cold chamber
in my in my vocals like whispers and
panning whisper
ad-libs instead of screaming or yelling
crunk ad-libs like
you hear just a soft whisper echo and
just these little things that i felt
like i picked up from like the metal
scene as well so
you said you were really big into like
the gothic and nine inch nails even with
that last
track that we played you hear like the
haunting vocals is what i used to call
them
where it's just like this echo and this
really soft
you like you're rapping and then you
start singing really soft like there's
an art to like
keeping people's attention and switching
it up bringing something different to
the table too right
yeah the the thing too is what uh
like what rappers do i guess an
interesting wicked underground like a
lot of them rap
just to rap you know they'll just rap
they'll rap words
and you don't have this issue as i don't
say it's an issue but you
you but you don't have this but a lot of
rappers do the word
and i just wish that they would go more
towards the way the beat is
like not so much of of what their their
lyrics are
but the way the beat is the way the beat
is is structured they should
they should really listen to the beat
more and kind of go with the beat more
yeah you do
you did the stuff that i heard from you
it sounds beautiful i i gotta go with
the beat
for sure right exactly and i think
there's a lot of rappers that
that don't do that and i think that's
that's the biggest difference too that's
what makes a good song
well i'll tell you there's i have a lot
of friends who even say like you need to
make your vocals stand
out from the beat you have to stand out
from the beat like i'm trying to like
i'm trying to become
one incredible music now you're not just
you're just not trying to rap over b
you're making music yeah yeah sure it's
rap music but you're making it as a
whole like a a composition
an experience for sure yes exactly yeah
now like
now are you are you writing currently
are you doing are you knocking out some
of the features are you messing with
your own stuff yet
not none of my own stuff yet no but but
i'm just producing and getting some
stuff
seven thousand dollars worth of features
that you owe yeah no
it's not that much no no i'm uh no it's
not nowhere
not nowhere near that much but these
people that i gave my word to and people
that
that that paid uh yeah nowhere near that
much yeah well i got to get a feature
from you man when you get caught up bro
i'll pay you man like let's do it for
sure like i've been asking for a while
i'll post it on fiverr and then and you
can

for your shirt man he's done did me
three designs yeah they're like battler
good i'm glad he's killer dude i paid

like anybody that i put him on i know
you hooked me up with them but like

i don't even know how old he is but cool
dude he looks like a kid
he's a kid for sure but he's really good
at what he does man so i got some dope
art coming out and i asked you and
that was interesting too about integrity
bro cause there's dudes in the game man
who
if i asked them who did their art they
would not tell me
they won't tell me that's their little
honey hole
their little fifty dollar artist you
know what i'm saying so shout out to you
for like
you know what i'm saying good because
the thing is it's it's
yeah sure it's a dope artist but you
know your ideas are your ideas my ideas
are my ideas so why not
you know let let why not why not help
this guy out and and
you know let him use his magic too it's
not like if it's uh
we're not we're not using the same ideas
uh you know so it's
i don't know people are like that too i
don't know i hate it i hate i try to
stay away from them people i i hated
that when some of those people have
talent you know what i'm saying and you
want to work with those dudes and like
then you find out like that's been a big
thing too what about you man like
working with some of your favorite
artists
even in the underground you've worked
with a lot of bigger guys you've worked
with some of the three six dudes like
like working with people and then you
kind of get let down
once you see another side of them or
whatever the case is have you had those
experiences
working some of the with other artists
nah so i when i
er in the way early years man um back
when i was like 16 stuff
and 18 um i
i i was doing a lot of music with with
uh the keeper fright night doja demon
these are real underground guys
but we are all tight smokey uh we're all
tight and we still we still keep in
touch we're still cool
uh as far as uh when i was doing the
door album and the kingpin skinny pimp
and lord infamous
yeah uh originally uh i got a verse from
skinny pimp so i sent him the beat so
when he was
working on it uh lord infamous came in
and and he heard it so that's how it all
came about the collab with lord
wow uh he heard it so then skinny pimp
calls me
and yo lord infamous once on this you
know here hold up hold on so i talked to
the lord infamous
so lord infamous was like you know yeah
i got to get on this
and that that so i was like hell
[Â __Â ] yeah you know like did he upsell
you or did he do it on top
he was actually lord infamous was
cheaper than than skinny pants oh yeah
but but so you know i i
i was like hell yeah so i had a friend
that pretty much invested in me like
with the collabs and stuff that if i
wanted somebody he he got me you know
regardless he helped me out like same
shot man he helped me out a lot back in
the day
for the collabs and if there was a show
he would help me out to get out there a
real really cool dude he uh but
so yeah we did it man we did the song he
did his first and then
you know obviously i kind of put stuff
aside i didn't
release the album the songs and then
like months and months after then i
heard
his the same verse he did for me i heard
his verse on someone else's
song so i was like yeah yeah that made
me not even want to release my [Â __Â ] you
know so
oh man that [Â __Â ] hit me so hard so say
that again was that skinny pimple or
infamous
that was lord infamous okay you know i'm
sure they did that a lot
yes for sure because they're like
hoodies cats these cats no one knows
these guys and they're never gonna know
yeah but yeah it was on another homeboy
songs i was like oh no
have you ever done that no no no no no
never i did it i'm not i can't i can't
lie i did it because i thought that i
was like throwing the track away
like it was a track that i thought i was
throwing away that ended up like being
one of my best tracks but i gave
somebody
like the same verse and i switched it up
a little bit but
it was on me thinking that i was
throwing it away i'll say that yeah
for for the new album the you know roz
dilliams
he's actually blowing up he's done songs
with suicide boys and and all those
dudes
uh he he was he's been down with the
wicked underground for
for a long time and when i came back in
the scene he wrote me a a
tweet uh whatever pretty much telling me
telling telling me thank you
for for being an inspiration to him and
you know
his music wouldn't as far as zach's
words but something just just give him a
lot of love a lot of props uh
so and when i told him i wanted him on
on a song for for the door album i just
released he was
he was ready he was like yeah i'm
honored i'm honored let's do it
but he's a bigger name now and then then
i got twisted insane who's a big name
too
and but but his was all business man
like
he he sent me his verse the next day and
then and then i hit him up to him like
hey man like
this is this is sick you know i wha you
know maybe if i
do a video something like that you know
would you you know would you be down for

five years old four years old and it
scared the hell out of me yeah those

that was a scary movie man yeah that

remember ghoulies uh
ghoulies man warlock i think growing up
which i don't remember much i kind of
want to watch some of the old ones to

uh dolly dearest um but yeah

of them i just don't really remember
much of them but do you remember
morty the episode with morty i let my
daughter watch it when she was little
scared the hell out of her
so morty was an episode with uh bobcat

horror fan horror buff and you have not
seen this
episode go watch it let your kids watch
it too
but bobcat goalweight was a
ventriloquist
and so he was failing at his job and he
was
not doing very well and so he met this
guy who was killing it this one guy who
was crushing it crushing it crushing it
so we asked him his secret like what is
the secret behind
your act what why are you so good and so
ended up dude had a uh
a little man that was hooked to his hand
this little like uh
his brother it was like a you know like
almost like the basket case coming at
your side
yeah yeah but it was coming out of his
hands so he would put the doll on
the hand and and he would act and he
would do the impressions and have the
conversations with them on stage
and they would kill it so um there's
this whole thing about
him fighting it and cutting it off and
attacking him
i think i seen that running across the
room and then it like at the very end
i'm gonna give it away it it like became
one with his hand
and like yeah infused with him because
he wanted to be good
so he's like he made this pact with them
like you can only tell these
certain jokes and that was deep yeah
super scary that sounds funny when i was
seven it was scary
i said it was it's scary now man morty
was scary as hell
man child's play actually freaked me out
too uh when i was little
uh child's play oh there's so many
there's something
so i mean we got to hear some stories
like were you afraid of your
your animals your your stuffed animals
after watching that did you
ever think that they were alive or moved
on you or whatever
i don't really have any stuffed animals
to be honest no
i remember having a dream one time and
so so back in the day like we used to
live in my grandma's house so
we me my parents my parents and
me my sister my parents we still sleep
in one little small room and on bunk
beds in the same room
i remember having a dream like i woke up
off the bunk bed and i went down to the
front
and it was like chucky at the door and
then i remember like going to the
hallway and all i remember in the dreams
like i couldn't move
i couldn't run anymore i was stuck like
i couldn't move no matter how
hard it tried he was coming and i woke
up oh pumpkin head was another one too
that
that punking hair was scary see i feel
like these these um
these horror dreams be cheating that's
something you find like you're running
in slow motion
yeah like if i can run regular i can get
away
yeah but when i run i'm in slow motion
with chucky right behind me that's yeah
yeah yeah yeah
yeah and there's dreams like when i wake
up i'm like oh [Â __Â ] it was a dream like
and i try to go back to sleep right back
so i can go back to
into it and i'm like way off i'm like
eating some type of food i don't eat or

i learned how to lucid dream bro from
watching horror movies like
um as far like when i was little like i
would have these dreams where like
uh jason and freddie were chasing me or
whatever a lot of gremlins a lot of
critters
those were gremlins and critters were
the scarecrows man
tremors too tremors even freaked me out
today sort of walk around thinking
there's a trimmer on the ground but yeah
craters man i love critters too
man hell yeah i would have these dreams
where
um jason was chasing me and i did it
like if he caught me he's finna torture
me he's gonna tie me up
show me his face you know stick pins in
whatever he got to do like cut my head
off he's going to torture me so
the goal was to like i eventually
learned that if i die in my dream i get
to wake up
like because when you die you kind of
jolt up and wake up because it's
so shocking or whatever and so i would
remember like
running from jason and seeing a boulder
i would see a boulder
and i would dive head first into the
boulder boom break my neck
to wake up oh i got away from him i beat
him
i beat i beat him and i would like there
was other times where like i would be in
the water
and he'd be trying to pull me up and i'd
swim to the bottom of the water to drown
myself
but he's trying to pull me out of the
water because he knows i'm trying to
drown myself
he's like if he can get me and get a
gasp of air he can torture me but then i
i stay down long enough to drown and
wake up out of my dream that's crazy to
like
you know from a seven-year-old dog like
yeah
i tell my wife too like she she asked
like where'd she get all those dark
stuff from like i was like
babe like i've been i was seven years
old when i when i watched this [Â __Â ] you
know like i was young
like and it was like a lot vulgar then
and what the movies are now but
it's just the way i was brought up like
and i saw things
beautiful like i don't know man i've
always been into horror i've always been
into
i know right and uh like i'm into loving
light
as far as i'm into both right it's a
duality both exist but i'm really into
love and light um
but there's something about the horror
horror genre like i interviewed
um the mom from e.t d wallace
and so she's she does energy healing
sessions connecting with your
higher self and like really deep prayer
a lot a lot of
wild stuff she does like a light worker
she would refer to herself as
but she still stars in horror movies she
played in three from hell
you know what i'm saying i got to talk
to her like about the dichotomy of
this really deep grotesque horror that
she's been a part of or
critters she was in critters she was in
uh cujo she was in like
you know rob zombie movies uh a bunch of
other she's a scream queen but you're a
loving light let's work through your
trauma and i told i said hey a lot of my
trauma came from movies that you were in
you know what i'm saying but there's
this dichotomy of like having the love
and the light the light and the darkness
what is it that
we're drawn to you think about the
darkness that excites us does it make us
feel alive
to be scared is at least to feel
something what do you think it is
i think sting is beautiful man to be
honest like my
i don't know man i just think it's
beautiful like i think horror movies are
beautiful to me
what is it about them though like is it
the creativity that is next level
everything from from yeah from the score
that just the idea
score i don't know like just the music
everything at all
john carpenter went on tour man yeah
it's crazy that'd be cool to see but
yeah i just think it's there's a beauty
behind it all because it's controlled
it's fun
you can control it it's fun you know

there's a director that said that the
horror
you know it's fun it's controlled you

you can't beat it but it's reality
reality is what's horrific that's the
real horror the reality
you know horror genre it's just it's
controlled it's fun
yeah would you think about um get out
which was like kind of like
every genre in one almost i expected
i don't know man i'm kind of picky too
especially because of the newer horror i
i i liked it for what it was uh
but it wasn't something that like i went
to the theater to watch it and
everything because i you know i had high
hopes for it
but it just it didn't really grab me you
didn't you didn't go on that roller
coaster ride
in the theater no no it was it was good
i just it wasn't it was something that i
wouldn't watch again wow
yeah i'm very picky man like uh it
really has to grab me
uh let's see what movies in the theater
yeah i even saw
um i went to go watch another one and i
even watched crawl because i liked
alexander aja
he did the hills that have eyes remake
and so i
i thought like oh man like you know this
should be good hopefully and then
he kind of went hollywood and it's not
the same he did like hot tension which
is like one of my favorite horror movies
um but yeah the hills have eyes like one
of my favorite remakes
um that night living dead remaking the
1990 version of tony todd and tom savini
that's one of my albums oh tom saffini
is a beast shot out
for sure yeah you know he does cameos
too for like really cheap
oh yeah yeah yeah him and keeper even
like
so the styles too like the the movie was
a bone marrow or merobone
that you do you recommended merrell bone
or bone bone
oh yeah heck yeah you watched that yeah
for sure oh dude i watched it twice
i told you bro i love it that was a
movie that can like
come and go and nobody ever it like
falls under the radar
and i love like watching movies like not
knowing
what what they are uh like not going
into them watching
but not knowing anything about it so
when you send it when you sent that i
i watched i didn't even look at no
trailers or anything i just watched it
and i loved it like the others like
people don't like the others like i
loved i haven't watched it really i i
watched that thing like
13 times in the movie theater like yeah
just because
it's very it's very slow pace it's very
slow
uh like that um the the
recent movies just depends like there's
a movie called eden lake
um it's like i guess it was like a
straight to video type of movie called
eden lake
it's more like a survival horror that
one i love that movie too
there was a recent one that just came
out it was kind of like surviving the
game do you remember that movie
with i think it was iced tea with ice
ice tea and so it was like almost like a
remake but um it was a
it was not just one black guy it was a
whole bunch of people
and they hunted all of these people um
it was
it it recently came out we watched it i
think we
i don't know if we watched it on netflix
or whatever but um
it was gory and uh and like it was one
of those things where like they
introduced the character to you
that you thought was the main role and
then two two minutes into it they're
dead
or you following the camera follows this
person you get into their backstory
their dialogue and then they're dead
it's like oh wow i thought he was i
thought we were gonna fight i thought
the rest of these and antagonists were
gonna die first but the the main
character died and so
it introduced is really good i got to
find the name of it though man i can't
remember the name of it but it comes to
like american horror too like i'm i'm
pretty
picky about i mean it takes a lot like i
don't know if you're a rob zombie fan
all right yeah yeah okay i'm not so oh
because i was just really disappointed
and and has
i've been i don't i like the devil's
rejects
i i would say i am too i enjoyed it i
enjoyed it i enjoyed the devil's rejects
but
i guess the thing that did it for me was
with um
uh with him was because of the house
thousand corpse
uh the way at the time where it was so
hyped
it was so hyped that that you know the
thing that they were saying that
that you know no studios will pick up on
it because it was so gory it's so
so i'm you know so i'm i'm during that
time like i was watching like the guinea
pig series out
i was watching like august underground
mortum those films
uh and those films are brutal so i'm
over here thinking like oh it's rob
zombie he's
his first [Â __Â ] horror film they can't
even get someone to to
to to distribute it because it's so
brutal you know so i'm getting hyped
about it you know
and then when it releases i'm like this
is like some [Â __Â ] like petty ass
[Â __Â ] texas chainsaw massacre [Â __Â ]
like what the [Â __Â ] is this like
it's just really like he's like wanted
to showcase his wife
yeah it did not tickle my pickle at all
let's put it that way so yeah
like i think i watched all of his films
and i mean i'm with you
like i mean i love rob zombie and his
love for horror and all that kind of
stuff but none of them were like
you know none of them were like eli roth
like
like you know you're influenced by full
key you you're influenced by argento and
stuff
uh but yet the stuff you put out it's
like
my come on man like hostile hostile was
okay but
i just have a real difficult time doing
with american horror like i'm so into
like asian
like foreign films uh but like
i don't you've never seen any of the
august underground i don't think so
oh my gosh august underground write it

things are
uh they're probably hard to find i don't

it's like like you think like you seen
gore and like some really like
disturbing [Â __Â ]
i'm not even i'm not into the gore okay
you might not want to watch it dude this

it comes with the territory but
there's three films but people actually
believe like it's pretty much like a
regular ham
cam ham uh camcorder and it's pretty
much like all

couple in france you know and they go
and they legit like
murder people but like the [Â __Â ] looks
like like it's legit
like everything looks legit like uh what
what about that that
the recent series that came out what was
it vhs or whatever there were some
interesting scenes and some of that
this is like looks legit legit like
really you watch it and you're thinking
like
this this is a real dead body wow yes
dude and this is old it's old and so
i'm watching that stuff and in the
guinea pig series and stuff and then
and that's when house thousand corps
came out and stuff and that's i was just
kind of bummed out about it and like
text like text chainsaw mascara i love
tasting some mascara yeah i was gonna
ask you i mean you're wearing the shirt
man yeah yeah and
and and part two is fun part three
wasn't yeah dog will hunt
i just figured out where that that
sample came from
from uh primus and then there's the
the next generations like but then i was
just weird
part one dude part one was like legit
though
yeah and then the the remake was
actually not that bad
i i thought it was a decent remake
wasn't there a couple or there was like
one there's a few of them but
i didn't watch them yeah i didn't watch
it out the ones after that i didn't even
i didn't even bother with those but but
uh
the the dawn of the dead remake that one
was decent
i have a hard time with with the
uh with zombies that run uh yeah i'm
with you so i'm with you so and
that 28 days later i like remember
watching that before it even was
released
it didn't have a us release date or
anything if i remember watching it and i
loved 20 days later yeah so then all of
a sudden they got distribution in the us
and i remember they were they they
advertise it as
the scariest movie since the exorcist
and they're like the the
the world's scariest zombie movie and
i'm like first off like that's not a
[Â __Â ] zombie movie
28 days just i'm sorry man i'm cursing a
lot it's like a radioactive movie or
something
yeah it's they're infected they're
infected with rage it wasn't even
radioactive
yeah they're they're infected with rage
like they
they're like trump supporters
they uh they had these these these
monkeys watching like
just like horror stuff like rights uh
death murders and stuff and the blood
they just got infected with rage like
that's what they knew and the blood
that blood that was in them it just
turned into like a like a disease like
like you know uh and that's how that
when the blood got around and just
spread like crazy
but people just would rage so no nobody
in that movie came back from the dead if
you notice it but none of them were
zombies
that yeah they got an effect there's no
dead water that was a dope movie man
what about part two yeah
i haven't watched it and people always
say that watching that
but people say it's good but i don't
think so really okay i i've watched the
it doesn't compare i mean it was okay
but i mean that's the thing too yeah
it's the only reason why i haven't
watched it because it's not the same
cast and it wasn't
what's his name from from transforming
that direction yeah
but it was a totally different person so
i kind of i didn't even bother some
movies i don't even bother with
going back to remakes man what about pet
cemetery
i didn't like it

gage like whenever he got hit like that

them for trying to like
introduce that to a new generation but

i think i think we owe that to our kids

actually an argento inspired one uh so
one of my favorite daria argento films
is
as opera and uh and i don't you haven't
seen opera
no oh man it's a good it's a good one so
i mean you got to think though these are
old movies they're like 70s these are
movies back in the 70s
so pretty much awkward i'm not going to
split it to for you it's a really good
movie you should watch it uh
it's pretty much it's a serial killer
he's he he's obsessed with with this
girl right
and so what he does though anybody
that's close to her he's very jealous so
anybody's like if she has a friend or
anybody that's close to her what she'll
do is he'll tie her up the girl that
he's obsessed with right
and he'll he'll he has like some like
tape like uh
not masking tape but like regular like
tape like gift wrap tape whatever and he
puts these needles
tape some these needles on it and he
puts the tape under her eyes
so that way she can't blink so if she
blinks
those needles are going to pierce her
top of her eyelid right so she
she ties her up and puts those needles
under her eyes
and he makes her pretty much watch him
kill whoever
comes back in like her friend or
boyfriend or whoever
that's affiliated with her he'll murder
them in front of her and makes her watch
and watch him then he'll like let her go
and the next day he'll
he'll he'll he'll [Â __Â ] do it again
and and
it's [Â __Â ] dope like like just the
idea of it you know
i wrote it down i'll probably wrote it
down
i'm gonna check out some of these films
for sure um
but if you haven't seen hot tension or
high tension that's a good one too
that's from uh that's uh the american
release name of it is high tension
uh that's that's a real good one like i
said i'm not in the gore
i'm into honestly what i'm into is faded
away
and i'm sure you're into it as well but
rubber little puppets
like having the rubber to have the
chucky doll run around
down the hallway practical effects
yeah have critters come out from under
the bed have so
you know cgi has taken over and they've
not done a good job

the homeschool stuff i had to box
everything up so that way the kids have

i saw that it's a revenge film uh it's
not so much horror i mean it's just so
good man she's so good

i'm not really much into american horror

daughter we started this channel back

ago we started like a family vlogging
channel but it started off as a channel
um it was called um kids react
to scary movies and this was before the
reaction channels got big and all that
it was
literally early days of this stuff and
uh i let her watch
cat's eye the clip from cat's eye i let
him watch the intro to
i let her and her friend watch the intro
from tales from the crypt and they've
never seen it
yeah and this is kind of boring this
isn't scary
and then it gets to the scene where the
crypt keeper jumps out of the casket
and these kids the look on their face
is priceless they've never seen it
before and it's on camera
dude they did an annabelle reaction it
instantly went to 200 000 views none of
my videos touched that but
i started doing this and i was like wow
my channel got deleted or whatever we
i had them reacting to to all types of
throwback 80s and 90s horror and it was
funny it was so funny i scared the [Â __Â ]
out of them
but it was so funny um but there's
something different about the puppets in
this
versus the cgi i mean yeah yeah you know
the master is one of my favorites i i
have blade and stuff and all the
characters too
i got a i got a blade uh blade costume
myself oh nice
yeah black costume it's just i think the
reason why i do cgi's is like it's
faster than it's cheaper
stupid though yeah where you do if you
do animatronic stuff of course you gotta
there's a lot of goes into it in a
puppetry and stuff especially is it
going to come back bro is it trying to

like like not so much big budgets they
they actually stick to it

charles as a
chucky that's being made and they're
they're using all practical effects
puppeteering and everything trying to
make it as old-school get a [Â __Â ] to

a big old mask of bobble heads i know
because like
like like you know i'm saying none of
the uh the uh
halloween costumes have done chucky
justice at all
at all no man nope
no sir but man you gotta check out some
of those movies uh

think that making

watching a good horror film sometimes

i know that both sides are real like

stuff out there and like entities and
all that kind of stuff and then i know
that there's beautiful
stuff out there as well and i think that
there's a duality and i think that it's
okay to kind of explore or see the
see the beauty in the darkness like it
takes a special eye
to be able to know it to look into the
darkness and see that there's some
beauty in it whether it's to create
creativity whether it's the hero story
that one
person made it through to the end and
live to tell their story hell that's my

think the hor the horror genre man is
very near and dear to my heart
you know in all of this stuff it is a
dichotomy at least it seems like anyway
you know there's a lot of people who
would tune into a lot of my stuff that i
bring to the table and like
this show might not be their cup of tea
but then again there's other people who
are like
listen that's a part of me and i know it
like i love
horror i love critters i love all of

i i love to feel alive like those movies
like that fear makes you feel alive man

movies or no
somewhat i mean so eden lake is a good
survivor horror

watched that one
uh the eden lake and then and then the
scents are good good uh you know what

have made me know that certain things
are real with ghosts and conjuring or
psychics and stuff like that like are
real and those are really based around
psychic abilities and and communicating
with the other side
so yeah there was like a certain place
in my heart that kind of touched me when
i watched that stuff
yeah insidious man i i wasn't i was
enjoying that movie when i first saw it
and then
whenever darth maul came out i stopped i
i was for sure like i was done

with the the monster truck one with the
uh trucks that were alive or whatever

wrong but there was a creature from one
of these episodes on usa up all night
um they called them the imp but i
believe it was from
like teenage babysitter something
massacre but it was a um a little imp
that came out of a genie a genie lamp
and he granted these teenagers wishes
but all the wishes went bad
but it showed like this little puppet
and he was pretty scary
really i don't remember that one

massacre or nothing doesn't ring a bell

leprechaun was pretty scary for sure

kind of like and i remember i was

i think one of the scariest uh movies in
horror history ever
is from a a series called the trilogy of
terror
where little uh yeah anytime already the

there was this lady who had like this
tiki doll yeah

take the chain off of his neck or
whatever
he comes to life and that joker came to
life and tortured that lady
and she put him in the stove she put him
in a suitcase and he cut his way out
he's just stabbing just every it seems
like every whack he
he took cutter super super super scary
you remember that
oh yeah yeah i remember the cover and
everything too
just seen the cover i remember a lot of
i learned a lot of movies too by the
covers because we used to go
and see the vhs and he said i used to
judge him by the cover and said yeah
he said there's man there's so many
movies

versus like blockbuster there was a
gallery
yeah we used to rent them from a place
called les felders
and yeah it was it wasn't a blockbuster
or hollywood it was like a rental store

so you said like roll the vhs
down rollers and then they'll put them
in the basket and
yeah i remember getting monkey shines
and everything
the company of wolves um
and so many so many memories so many
movies too
my granny had this lady that lived like
next door
and she pretty much had a horror movie
collection i don't know if she worked at
blockbuster
because a lot of them were still in
their boxes blockbuster boxes
but she let us come over and rent movies
and we watched like children under the
stairs and
and chucky and all that stuff man but we
people go to her house and rent movies
from this lady man
that's cool and you got the hook up then
the people on the stairs was a good one
that that came a little bit later for me
but it was good yeah yeah uh chicken of
the corn
is good malachi yeah jedidiah even um
even there was cube it was just a little
bit later cube was good
it was different i like cute i like
stuff that's kind of different yeah
uh it's pretty much people just wake up
and also they're stuck in this cube and
each room of this cube is deaf pretty
much like you have to figure out how to
escape it navigate out i love movies
with non-happy endings too
oh wow i don't know like i love movies
with non-happy you really do
it kind of leaves me wanting well i'll

my wife it messes her up straight up my
wife she can't stand uh
there's a lot of movies coming out like
that which just ends abruptly but i want
to hear some more
there's a weird thing they're doing in a
lot of horror and a lot of like uh
thriller movies now where they'll just
leave you guessing yeah like where you
gotta like i don't like that
i've been having to like look up endings
on youtube to hear other people's
explanation of the ending of
even the stephen king movie the way with
the the corn maze or whatever that came
out on netflix or whatever
that was i didn't watch that one yeah
and it's that one i need to see it

i already know what's going to happen
and sure enough at the end it's like
i already knew it i hate that i'll start
doing it like i start calling it out
with my family laying on the couch
watching stuff

they'll like get mad at me when they
find out that it really is

supposed to be like a twist and i was

well i mean the the twist movies are
amazing like uh the first one i remember
seeing was a secret window like what
you're watching one movie for an
hour johnny depp yeah and then all of a
sudden
boom one thing happens and it's a total
different movie
and it makes you rethink everything that
happened uh the village
a lot of m night shyamalan i love the
village people don't people knock that
movie i
love the village like blew your mind
that that at the end is like

you smell some weird smells like from

worked in graveyards like
cleaning up and being by myself in the
middle of a graveyard and the wind's
blowing and the leaves are blowing i'm

that's a damn horror movie barbara's fun
to come up like you end up saying like
you're in a perfect place i can write
the perfect horror
like scenario you know what i'm saying
in this situation
for sure that's that's crazy man that's
a trippy ass drop right there
yeah i worked for the city and we just
cleaned up but some days i had to clean

be by yourself working in there and end
up backing over a grave and knocking the
tombstone over and like damn i gotta fix
it
it's just so much fun getting scared
though you know
still is like i remember like trying to
scare my wife when we were dating
and i would hide in a corner for not
hours but i but 15 minutes
i would hide in a spot she's in the
bathroom
or in the back bedroom doing something
i'm like i got to stay here for 15
minutes because when she comes out i'm
gonna hit it with a
little and like i'm gonna scare the piss
out of her and i would do that for like
i would articulate it i do it for my to
my daughter too man
it's kind of not fun but i i don't even
have to try like i'll be walking
and then and like i turn the corner and
she's walking his way
and she's like she like she legit like
gets scared
she gets good very easy so i don't need
to try i need to wear a bail when i walk
around the house sometimes

and that's the way that the it pretty
was and he thought the book was fun

it wasn't i mean it scared me as a kid
yeah but you know when you read them if
you read the book or
when you're older it's not really it's
kind of like fun
like the stories but you know you see
those pictures and you're reading and
you're like oh man
they're eating the toe and you know just
did you know different things but
it was very teenage and he enjoyed it so
uh i enjoyed it too i was i'm a big fan
of scary stories

actually gonna do walls last time i did

do like legit like like quality
professional like haunted house in my
garage
uh but then covet hit and i just figured
like i'm gonna do all this work and
people some people aren't gonna be out
so i'm gonna just wait and
make sure i have everything done for
next year uh and then just do it next

uh go all out but yeah i mean it's i
love it
i've always wanted to do it i've always
wanted to make my greg
when if i bought my own house like i
always want to use my garage as a
haunted house for halloween and
you know have my friends yeah
yeah we uh we we did a haunted hay ride
the last two years
we're not doing it this year because of
coveting restrictions and stuff but uh
yeah definitely when you got to my
station
it was it was the scariest station i got
up all day nice
i got any stuff for sure but um yeah we
uh we raised a lot of money for
um some of the employees that that work
at my wife's uh
job which is like she operates a
non-profit and so
it was kind of like something extra that
they did for the employees to to raise
some money and so
nice good stuff man as far as something
going viral on facebook
putting out on facebook creating an
event and a page that you're doing a
haunted house or a haunted hay ride or
something like that like that thing
took off like as far as everybody
organically sharing it
and like tagging friends hey let's go
let's go hell yeah dude it blew blew up
blew up for sure it was so much fun we
didn't and
and for that reason too like my wife
didn't want really want
crazy people to know you know where we
live so we kind of just i just put a
sign at the end of the street and just
kind of just
kept the low key oh and dude i don't
know you can tell by now too i like to
kind of keep things low key
uh but we kept the low key and a lot of
people still showed up too but
kind of word of mouth pretty much if you
know you know yeah you know go if you

yeah something about it i mean uh you
know i'm saying halloween's a special
time even
you know for a lot of people but for you
as well like i've seen like
a lot of past um years you and your wife
going
costume parties and stuff like that and
you won one
a couple years ago you've always went
above and beyond it probably should have
won them all
but you guys eventually won one a
couple's halloween party right
yeah yeah just the penny i got of all
things pennywise one but
yeah man we i got her into like dressing
up and
i always enjoyed it it's fun i i think i
enjoyed more people not knowing
who i am because i'm a very i am a very
shy person so if i wasn't like if you
could tell it was me like i wouldn't do
things that i would do
but since i'm in a mask and stuff
i feel free for sure for sure
yeah i did a whole uh a whole like video
series on uh the power of the mask of
wearing the mask and uh
just looking over like throughout you

even going back to like the
ventriloquist you know allows the uh
the young shy nerdy guy to say things
that he would never say to a
voluptuous beautiful woman as the

looking at slipknot and the insane clown
posse how like you
you're able to take on a persona that
you wouldn't normally do
as yourself but with that mask on it

tap into other uh pieces of your psyche

even experiment a little bit or explore

you know a lot of the horror core i
guess was made famous by
the insane clown posse obviously there
was a lot of groups that came before
them but
made famous by icp in the juggalo
movement what is your relationship with
their music and their uh fandom
um i wasn't i was i mean you can

inspired by them at all i didn't know
i didn't know really much about anything
i remember
and i think i was like in freshman in
high school
uh some of my friends were on a field
trip and some at a theme park and they
found a wallet
and i remember there was like 300 in it
and one of the guys
uh he went and we went to the mall uh he
went and he bought like pretty much
every single thing that's icp of
that he can get with that money so he
got like shirts
all the cds and whatnot so i remember
i i listened to them i i listened to
i think it was tunnel of love i listened
to it and
i just to be completely honest i wasn't
really
out to me musically the memphis stuff
was just way beyond
its time uh compared to that it wasn't
really my style
um i didn't know what a juggalo was or
anything like that it
wasn't wasn't for it wasn't for me um
so i and then i heard the great malinko
album i kind of liked that a little bit
better i was like damn surviving
uh this song passed me by i like that
song a lot
but other than that like nothing really
grabbed me like the way the memphis
music did
so i i still didn't know
anything about like that market or

for all i knew was like i was it just

it wasn't really something that i would
listen to compared to what i was already

um but then i got booked for a show in
oklahoma city for a mini gathering
and so i
you know because i'm i'm in the south

you know i'm very well from the texas
music scene
it's different the memphis the south is
different
so i went to this mini gathering and
dude i was just blown away by the by all
the love and
and and that's when i found out what a
juggalo was like oh these dudes are icp
fans
like they're they're they're icp fans
hell yeah and they're just like whoop
whoop
and doing all this stuff juggle clap
juggle look doing all this crazy [Â __Â ]
and uh so the first thing in my head was
like holy [Â __Â ] like these dudes are so
[Â __Â ] down with icp right they're so
[Â __Â ] down like they're not even here
playing this show
and yet they're here full force
representing icp
yeah and representing themselves and and
like that's the first thing that hit me
and from there dude i was sold man i i

the scene the the people uh the love
it's just different like it's hard for
me to explain like i'm not a juggle or

but when when i first met him like what
what they were
and i i instantly knew like what they
were about and

shutter the thailand version of shutter
the original version of shutter i think
i enjoyed that the most but
but juwan i i enjoyed the ring the ring
during that time was very like creepy
it was something that wasn't really
like felt or seen before in horror the
original ring but
i think i enjoyed you on the grudge more
and they just told me
there's different other verses but shut
in a shudder too shadow really
i enjoyed shatter but yeah between those

shutter and i think that shutter was
something that i requested

decent remake
i i vaguely remember i remember watching

those crystals of those rocks

it was like an amethyst crystal or

and so they got the gate in the backyard
this hole that opened up
and he was looking around and he fell in
in these little minions which were the
demons that ran up to him and they were
just kind of looking at him checking
them out like who is this guy

finger or the toe or something it was
like oh god they tried to kill me
that poultry guys too i actually enjoyed
poultry guys and i was like yeah
and part three i enjoyed all three of
them uh part one you just forgot you
know with the pool obviously with
the bodies the the the indian burial
ground
but part two was was
was uh that really got me with the
tequila with the
the arm drinking the worm and then dad
became thrown
yeah he throws no he throws them up oh
he threw it up
he never did become it it just came out
of him yeah he threw up that that i feel
like the worm looked like thing
looked like him though a little bit yeah

what about the kids braces that like
wrapped around his head

set of the exorcist
before it was well the little girl the
main character she ended up passing they

that after he looked into any of those
conspiracy theories of like the child
like a child rape kind of i've seen some

time there's some
interesting stuff man part two too with

the kids watch that
in the uh doing the videos yeah he says

look him up to see if he was in anything

a lot of those those uh 80s and 90s
movies there's nothing like
it man they don't ever probably right no
probably not nope unless they go back i
feel like if they go back to the
puppeteers and
and and the rubber monsters they i feel
like they
have the ability to do it um they've
tried their time
spend that money they tried to relaunch
critters
no yeah i didn't see i didn't
i was hyped about it yeah me too and
then they
launched the comedy it was a comedy
oh i i didn't even watch it launching
critters as a comedy

of the twilight zone i watched the first

i haven't watched it in the new season
it was a good first season
i loved the haunting of hill house yeah
both of them yeah

yeah the old one definitely loved it
i had some deep conversations about
death on here
after watching the first one like really
in the midst of watching it like it
definitely had me
thinking about the afterlife and death
and what happens and where did we go
and lingering spirits and memories and
impressions and all that kind of stuff
yeah i loved it messed with photography
the cinematography in it and the shots a
lot of his asian influence too
a lot of it was asian influenced the
shots the
even like the original eye there's the
scene with the guys floating in
and just different things little little
things that i've noticed as like a lot
of asian influences
going on i think you know the um
the occult or you know these movies and
stuff they
they they bring us in touch with a sense
of eternity or something that exists
even beyond the grave you know
like a lot of these shows that like you
know death is one thing you dino
you know horrific death but then you get
to see a lot of these spirits on the
other side with
with the hill house or with um
you know any of these movies that that
are like psychological thrillers or deal
with the other side so that's something
that's interesting
one thing i wanted to ask you um a
little bit like does this stuff ever
become real to you is it all like
fantasy is it all like you know
in in in like you know saying theater or
whatever does it
does it ever or did it ever become real
like the occult or
ghost have you ever seen a ghost have
you ever seen ufos
angels have these has this stuff ever
crossed over into your reality
i don't think anything from tv the only
things that i can remember
of like having like stuff that's
happened i remember
so back in the day we used to have a
telephone and i remember used to be
i used to be stay up late right talking
to people on the phone
but i remember one time uh
it was late at night i had the phone on
the floor
and it's and i remember you know it's
kind of quiet in my room
and i remember the phone like sound like
someone lifted up the phone
and slammed it back down on the thing
and i remember i i
woke up and i was like freaking out you
know and then i called somebody i don't
remember
remember who i called but i remember i
was laying on the other side of the bed
about my closet
and then i remember the closet uh
this is that old house too the
door cracked open and i just
all i remember just staying there and
just staring like in that crack
just just staring out just froze up and
i was like i gotta go and i just hung up
and i remember what i did after that but
that that's the only time
i i've experienced something and i
remember
in the same house uh
my i remember because me and my sister
were upstairs and we had to then that's
where the computer was at
and i remember leaving my room and she's
my sister's on the computer and i wrote
hey hey amanda you know
and just sort of hi and she didn't say
anything to me she just kept on looking
at the screen the computer
and then i remember going all the way
downstairs and i went to my parents room
and then went in my parents room my
sister was in there with my dad and
my mom on the bed there all three of
them i was like what i was like how did
you get
like you know how did you get here so
like i just
i was like you were just upstairs and
they freaked out when i told them that
and we went upstairs and everything was
off and everything was the only two
times i ever felt anything like
like ghosts or anything like that but it
was
about uh what about ufos or demons i
wish man
i wish i wish i could see i wish i wish
i'd seen a ufo not demons but like
but like a ufo like i think i mean we
used to sit i mean my cousins used to
sit outside
in the backyard of my grandma's house
just just waiting waiting to see
something
uh ever since i saw fire in the sky yeah

movies that we've ever even touched on

yeah um the fire in the sky man got me
obsessed
and i just i remember for sure outside

we used to try to scare ourselves a lot
too yeah a lot of it's a mexican culture

my so my mom i'm actually
one of the new songs i'm going to end up
making my mom used to sing me a song
and i feel like i got something to ask
her but she sent me a lullaby he needs
to be a

she said but i remember like when i was
older i asked her i was like remember
that song needs to see me
and she's like what's in the burrito i
was like yeah and

saying so the song that she's
seeing me was pretty much about a kid
that who was buried on the ground
right and then but the hair that the the
kid's hair was sticking out
like grass and there was a donkey and
the donkey was eating the
the kid's hair so the kid was
underground singing i burrito they
pretty much saying like i
donkey please stop eating my hair and
all this stuff so i was like what
like and like you just sing that to me
when i was like five years old like
i don't know man but so but the the la
chuza we see
you know they tell stories about that
the la la la lana
um i've seen that movie that was okay
yeah i think i tried i think i wanted
some of that in a new song
i to i want to make a movie like i want

we're going to play off of this scene or

i've had it's 15 years ago
i had it i had it this idea of this lady
who pretty much kid like the creepy you
know scene where she
kidnaps the little girl in her from her
room and the mother goes in and the
mother
you know this lady takes his little girl
so this little girl
is you know lady tries to baby her
trying to you know she's very excited
the lady is excited that she has his
little girl so the girl just looking
around gets comfortable
and trying to think of ways to get out
uh but as a girl little girl's there at
the place she realized like these
pictures
these missing pictures on the wall and
it has old photos of
you know a girl that kind of looks like
her and so the
little girl manages to escape this old
lady that's like a witch
and this pretty much just witch has been
there because they thought like she
murdered her
or she was a murderer or whatever so the
little girl goes escapes and goes to the
mom
and then this she tells a mom like i saw
you and the
mom's like what do you what do you mean
you saw me so the
the mother goes back to the where that
old lady is at
and it pretty much shows you know the
mom walking in and saying the
same mother or mom and it cuts off so
pretty much what it is is
that old lady was really the old lady
lost her daughter
right when the daughter was little the
daughter looks just like the little girl
that she just took
right so that's what she's thinking like
that's how she remembers her daughter so
this little girl's a daughter but turns
out
that little girl is actually the mother
so the mother's actually the old lady's
real daughter but she's grown but she
does what she didn't
realize i don't know it's kind of
confusing but a little twist so the
mother
oh wow that's pretty deep so so the uh
the uh
the ladies that kidnapped the child is
the grandmother
correct yeah okay yeah like they
couldn't challenge the grandmother but
she kidnapped the child because that's
how she remembers her daughter looking
like
so but it turns out you know obviously
the daughter's older so then that's when
the little girl escapes tells her
i saw you and she's like what do you
mean you saw me and she goes back
and then she realized like you know
she's like you know
yeah i got of uh i've got a lot of uh
horror plots and stuff that i want to do
with my daughter and stuff and uh
we we like did a little bit of them like
whenever
do you remember when the clown stuff got
really big like four years ago
2017. i even remember before that i
remember back when i was in elementary
it was it was it got real big
clowns were showing up at the school and
trying to get yeah with casey
and stuff like that uh yeah we actually
did a video that was
pretty cool and we just simply did it
like we kind of like
you stand here make sure that like we
did it on um
we did it all on cell phone like the kid
was running but they
had it on like selfie mode and so they
filmed everywhere that they were running
so like
it was like it was so cool i lost the
footage because it was on other channels
that i ended up losing on youtube but
um i was in one of the clown costumes
and uh
was knocking on the window and then her
and her little friend walks up to the
window to see what the knocking is and
they open it up
and it's a clown like looking in the
window looking like this and like ah
so then i like run off as the clown and
run to the front door and i open up the
front door when
and right when i go to open up the
screen door they shut the main door and
lock it
and they're like oh the clown's trying
to get in and then they look at
they pan to the back door and the
clown's actually coming through the back
door
and so i come running at them or
whatever chasing them through the house
and they've got it all on just selfie
mode on the camera oh that's cool
they run to one of the bedrooms and one
of them falls down and i grab their
ankle and pull them
and then the other one grabs the phone
or whatever runs into the bathroom and
the
one that i grabbed screams real loud and
other ones got the
camera with like the final seconds like
oh my god
oh my god there's something somebody's
trying to kill us and then finally the
clown opens up the door
and she films me in the crack of the
door coming in for her
it was hilarious it was scary and i put
music to it like i put like the horror
music like
the strings that rise you know with each
scene or whatever
and um got it it actually got a lot of
views but
got deleted there's a bunch of um
really cool stuff i mean i've got this
one where like uh
like a clown or something that comes in
to attack the kids and
and the kids ended up like mustering to
i didn't film this but the kids end up
mustering together
and they killed the clown they killed
the person that's wearing the mask
and finally they pull the mask off and
it's like your dad
like your dad was just playing a prank
on us to scare us and we killed your dad
kind of thing like i think that would be
like a cool music video or short film or
whatever and do it
like one of the first videos i did too
i've made a storyline like that too like
i pretty much killed myself and didn't
realize it and i was like oh
[Â __Â ] you know that's just old school old
school stuff
yeah it's like those flip it's like the
flip thing
we killed the victim we killed the
person it was like
he's your dad your dad was the
psychopath trying to just you know get a
rise out of the kids
they were in the village for sure

we have a couple drinks or you just
remember those people man and tell
stories and stuff and we don't
we like we've like lost that and just
culture in general and so
i feel like the mexican culture and the
day of the dead is something that's
beautiful that you actually remember
the souls of those who were in your
presence uh not so long ago
for sure man yeah yeah we have a
festival down here but no my family we
weren't really big on
celebrating it or anything like that
for sure um let's see here um
somebody wants to know does uh have you
ever had a encounter with
sleep paralysis dude it's
crazy you say that the man actually
about a few months ago the first time
i actually i've man it was the weirdest
thing
uh but not so like so afterwards after
this
incident happened to me like i looked it
up like because i i was sleeping
but then i was awake and i couldn't wake
up like i couldn't
move and i i was trying to yell for my
wife
to kind of like to to it was a weird
like
in between i've never i didn't know
anything about any
any of that stuff but i i don't know
what it was man like it was a weird i
was
i was in between awake and asleep like
like knocked out of sleep but i was
trying to like i was trying to scream
for her like i was trying to yell for
her to to
to move me to wake me up because i was
like in between where i was like i feel
like i wasn't gonna get out of it like i
was never gonna
never gonna cross over i was never gonna
move or i wasn't gonna go to sleep i was
gonna be stuck right there
it freaked me out so i started looking
about stuff like that and that stuff
that stuff came up came up but the stuff
that i read too is about like how they
some people say that they see a person
that's kind of like holding them down
yeah or they see something like that i
didn't see that i just felt it i just
put my body and i can't
i'm like i just couldn't move yeah and
it was it was actually like three months
ago
so i felt that yeah wow and that was the
first time
yeah first time ever so for me like uh
you know
my first experience with sleep paralysis
was when i was like four years old
and watching those horror movies and so
i remember waking up and
feeling like what seemed to be like some
type of critters or something
like pinning me down one on each
shoulder like there was these black
shadows
and they were like pinning me down to
the bed or whatever i was for wow that i
think
like that experience like really got me
into everything that i'm into now ever
woke up and been like there's
people in your room or like a thing
pinning you down to the bed
some people will laugh at you and say no
but some people say yeah
or my dad had that happen to him and he
sent us witches that wake you up and
warn you
when bad things are happening you hear
all these different stories and so
i remember having that happen to me as a
as a little kid and it really
i felt like it changed my life like i
can pinpoint my uh
spiritual journey or whatever to these
spiritual things that
happened going back to like four years
old of having that sleep paralysis
experience what what do you think it is
i've heard a lot of stuff man um i've
interviewed a lot of people
and um i do feel like it's a mark
like it's somebody who's meant to do
something of greatness and like it's a
darker force trying to scare you
or hold you back into stepping into the
unknown or
dealing with the spiritual or the
paranormal like it's almost like a
guardian
that you have to kind of get through
that's trying to scare you and hold you
back
and so i've had those conversations um
it is scary
you know there's uh scary things about
this kind of stuff but uh
there's a lot of beautiful stuff in it
too when we talk about
your destiny and psychic abilities and
uh aliens demons angels all that kind of
stuff which is what i talk about and uh
i feel like all of those people who have
had those experiences especially
as as a young kid who have been people
who have been marked to do something of
greatness to try to bring forth like
something beautiful to this planet you
know
yeah it's going to [Â __Â ] out of me it's a
second movie
it almost felt like more like i was just
so sleepy and so tired
that i woke up like at the wrong time or
i don't know man it was weird a lot of
people would think it's just
you know your body having sleep
paralysis as far as like
you wake up and your mind's awake but
your body's still asleep and you can't
move or whatever and it just scares you
the weird thing is when you get into
seeing entities in your room
or like they have something that's
called the old hag syndrome
where there's an old lady laying beside
you screaming in your face
like that's a common thing that people
wake up and they can't move and they
look over and there's an
old woman a monster screaming in their
face there's other people
saw a movie like that i think other
people like myself have like
the scariest dreams i've ever had have
been me laying in my room kind of like
dozing off but kind of looking around
and i days off i go off into a sleep but
my dream is that i'm still awake looking
at my room
like you immediately go into a dream
that you're still awake
and so i'm looking around my room and
there's a a ghoulie
literally a ghoulie or a gremlin or a
critter that gets on my chest
and he's walking up until he's standing
above me and my face looking at me and
it feels like it's real
right like i'm in a dream but a dream i
feel like i'm still
awake though and you can't move and
you're like just
looking at this cat ghoulie
staring at you and trying to suck your
soul out or the
grumbling you know the troll from cat's
eye like
whenever the two worlds blend for me has
been like the scariest nightmares
ever it's happened recently you know i
feel like i'm i'm dazing off and going
to sleep and i feel the covers pulled
down around my legs
and i feel like a cat is walking up the
bed because the cause
because the sheets are going down while
we're laying still in bed
oh [Â __Â ] what is that you know and it
wakes you up and like makes you vigilant
and reminds you of
all the horror movies you've ever
watched i've had a dream
like the dream within a dream like i
remember one time like uh but it wasn't
nothing horror related i was watching
horror movies and stuff but it was
i like i had a dream that i was outside
in my front yard right so i'm dreaming
and then i lift up like my leg back
behind me
my right leg and all of a sudden i lift
up my my left leg and i'm [Â __Â ]
floating
so i'm like oh hell yeah i'm [Â __Â ]
like i got excited like i got excited
i'm learning how to fly like i could
float
and then i woke up because i got so
excited like oh so i woke up i was like

then like i remember i got up i was
gonna go downstairs get some water and i
was at the edge of the steps and out
the stairs and i was kind of like let me
try it so then like i went
you know so like i i my legs i left up

the same thing i started floating again

randomly i saw like the alphabet
balloons start floating up and then i
was like oh i'm [Â __Â ] dreaming and now
and then i woke up again for real for
real i was like [Â __Â ] like i really
thought i could
fly like i was like damn i'm gonna be
the only human that can float
or levitate or some [Â __Â ] i mean that's
the the weird thing about religion
is like uh you know a lot of the early
catholic paintings and stuff dude they
showed the
the catholic priests floating around
town there's a movie called the flying
nun that
tells a story about the nun who her
faith was so strong that
it couldn't keep her to the ground and
they had to like tie her to a chair and
and nail it to the ground to have
and for so she wouldn't levitate and
float but there was these images of
these
you know priests and and things who are
floating around town because
oh wow they learn how to communicate
with the elements
and uh they're painted on the walls yeah
yeah some of them are painted on the
walls it's crazy so i mean i got it you
know
you know for me like i got into that
stuff like that you know a lot of
i would say horror movies but horror
music and like
supernatural stuff got me into the
occult like for sure like early on like
i was like
you know the necronomicon and satanic
bible
and wicca and all that so as a teenager
like it definitely came with the music
maryland i was
i'm a huge was and i'm still a huge
marilyn manson fan
like uh um it i just wanted to be
look into all of that stuff and so for
me it opened up doors to that other side
that uh
i don't think i was um i think the life
that i was living as a teenager wasn't
like conducive with the things that i
was trying to look into or entertain or
trying to do and so it there comes a
level of integrity or
um responsibility that comes with that
stuff and it's not to be played with
like we kind of talk about it
nonchalantly
you know in icp lyrics or whatever
horror core a lot of stuff is talking
about like casting spells or putting
hexes on people and like
that stuff comes back to you you know
what i'm saying so for me like
that's what got me into a lot of this
stuff was through a lot of the early
stuff that
horror movies and music and stuff that i
reached into the other side dude and
i've seen
like some wild stuff that a lot of that
stuff's real
you know and that's a big that you know
there's even
as me being a christian or whatever
being a religious person like
who doesn't watch that stuff one of the
things that draws me to it is to do
research
because there's a lot of occult stuff
there's a lot of research
into like how to rid yourself of demons
and
how to cast them out through like
watching devil or
any of the stuff about witchcraft or
whatever that like gives you like an
like some insight to that realm
you know it becomes real to you yeah
yeah i'm just one of those if i see with
my own eyes and then i'll i'll believe
it more
you've never seen it though no
it's interesting for that yeah never
seen it
yeah you just uh you know it kind of
blows my mind because it's like
why like does one person see it and the
other doesn't like
did you very actively look for it was
you okay with just the music in the
movies like
yeah i think that's the main thing too
is like i i'm not really looking for it
i'm just
entertainment yeah like like i just i
see it more as an art
everything's more as an art the the
visuals the the everything
the tones the the sounds
i appreciate that too so for sure
even all those like horror intros that i
played and
you know there's an art to that stuff
that you don't really hear anywhere else
it's beautiful to me it's controlled
there is nothing wrong with your
television
do not attempt to adjust the picture
we are now controlling the transmission
optimistic we control the horizontal
and the know that we can then meet you
with a thousand
channels or expand one single image to
crystal clarity and beyond
we can shape your vision to anything our
imagination
can conceive
we will control outer limits do you
remember watching that show
i didn't watch i didn't watch outer
limits really in the night oh my god
no that was more just those movies and
then i went straight into like
foreign movies wow did you watch did you
watch the creep show though you watched
that huh
yeah yeah par part two part one and part
two yeah yeah so you remember the
the crate the crate skit i think so
i'd see i think i remember more part two
but i want much more they were um
yeah i think it was that one i think it
was that one yeah oh okay
but they ended up shipping a a package
to a college and they found this like
crate under the
stairwell and they were like trying to
open it and see what was in it and uh it
was
tasmanian devil do you remember that and
it was like this creature
yeah are you sure it was creep show i
believe so
or was that like dead alive or something
now what about
tales from the dark side because i'm i
got the yeah i like this
dark side yeah now what about the gall
girl scene
which is one of the scariest scenes as
well yeah yeah it was badass too it's
all practical effects too
don't tell anyone that you met me
and then like years later he's like
drawing the stuff out
almost like us like drawing like skits
and writing it into our music videos and
stuff is like don't tell anyone that
you've seen this and so
he draws it out and he draws these
pictures and he shows his wife this like
image of this gargoyle that he met when
he was younger
that spared his life if he didn't tell
anyone about his existence and so he
said okay i'll never tell anyone about
you
but then he couldn't hold it in yeah
yeah that he did
what about the song from um nine inch
nails came back haunted
i'll probably have to hear it saw some
things on the other side
made me promise to never tell but you
know me i can't help myself
one of the newer ones oh i really didn't
i probably didn't i think i down
downward spirals for the last one at
night
oh my god really yeah yeah
when it comes to the spirit world
and uh and the other side like that song
hit real for me i tell you what i had an
experience with that
listening to ghost stories and and stuff
like that and one morning early getting
ready
for work uh i went out and um
and literally i go to work at like 2 a.m
and uh
i'm at work i load my truck and i'm at
the job site
load my truck and i'm probably at the
place i need to be at like 4
5 o'clock in the morning nobody's there
for like three hours
and i'm unloading this truck and i'm
listening to came back haunted i'm
listening to ghost stories and stuff
i'm behind my truck and i'm unloading
all this heavy stuff
out of the back at a customer dro it's
almost pitch black there's a couple
lights off in a distance but um
all of a sudden like i hear like not
here but some
something cranks the truck up that i'm
unloading
like the door is like open but i'm at
the back of the truck and something
in the truck cranks up and i'm at the
back by myself in the dark
unloading i'm like oh what the hell like
who's is somebody in my truck like it's
a whether even if it's a ghost like
and you talk about being scared like
having those little
weird experiences to where your truck
cranks up while you're not in it
i've never heard of that ever happening
yeah
you know like a truck automatically
cranks itself unless you're watching
carrie or something
or what what what was christine
christine
the beautiful car the beautiful car
that's old school too [Â __Â ] it's pretty
scary
i'm surprised they haven't remade that
one i think they might have christine
yeah i don't think they have they remade
carrie carrie was decent
yeah because that because that that
little girl is a really good actor
yeah yeah she played in uh what was that
one
that was actually good um was it kick
ass
no um where she was um
she was the vampire and it was a remake
uh let the right one in yeah
let me in and originally the right one
right yeah she was uh she was good in
that but that was a remake too you're
talking about these remakes you know
yeah yeah but not like that was a good
it was one of my favorite there was
another one
that came out a couple years later about
a little boy who died
but um the family kept seeing him like
in the house and stuff
like it wasn't like let me in but it was
something
similar to the boy
something like the boy was okay
the boy was okay the boy won anyway
but no it was it was a little boy who uh
who died and
just the family kept seeing him and i
think the mom was infatuated with like
thinking that it was really him or
whatever
man i don't know
there there was another one too with
this two twins called mommy something is
it that one
no um
dude i've seen so many different movies
it's hard for me to keep well it might
have been
i don't think it was a i don't think it
was a uh
have you seen martyrs the movie martyrs
the original martyrs somebody
put me on that the other day that's one
of my uh that's one of my all-time
favorites too
somebody put me on that the other day i
haven't watched i haven't watched the
remake but
the original martyrs it's i love it man
just from the get-go
wow yeah somebody put me on that the
other day
definitely martyrs i saw the devil
eden lake those are must-sees
uh the descent survival harbor ones it
was a good
hot tension which is high tension that's
a good one
yeah i can't think of the uh the movie
with the little boy um

a lot of people have kind of aged and
kind of got their own
thing going on but um i i released my uh
you know one of my albums in 2018 i
believe it was and it was once this
podcast came out and
my 2015 album um 333
did did really good and opened up a lot
of doors for me but
the podcast opened up a lot more doors
and so
i did an album release party at a house
a house show
we did a house show here in mobile
alabama in literally
people drove 12 hours to be here
like from all over i didn't know in like
literally like
from texas from dallas from austin from
tennessee north carolina and and from
orlando like
every area came to mobile and drove an
average of eight to twelve hours to be
had all these experiences it was
that's the way it was and i'm like at a
house show
i was like damn like i must be doing
something right you know
uh i remember what's uh d d crisis i
think he's the one yeah
christ shout out so he kept telling me
he couldn't tell me he's like dude
you gotta you gotta check this dude out
you gotta hit him up
i would love for you guys to do
something together you gotta hit this
dude up
and i was like okay okay cool man yeah
but see i was already doing music so i
wasn't even trying to like listen to
anything
but he did he kept on hitting me up dude
you got listen
you gotta check him out and everybody he
he sent me some links and i was like
yo this shit's actually pretty yeah i
remember i remember you did something
where you were like i'm doing yard work
today or something send me links and i
was like hey bro check out my 333 album
like yes
and then and then but the first thing
that like i told you earlier the first
thing i noticed though it wasn't just
like rap like you were actually going
with the the production so i was like
this is good
like i like [Â __Â ] like that i like stuff
that actually
i don't know it's more creative i got
lucky with the beat makers because i
don't make my own beats but
uh i got lucky with the uh you know you
search and search and search for
somebody that you can vibe with and i
found
a producer where like i got all their
good tracks from them and
it floats so good with your built a
relationship with them and uh
yeah i was listening to it today and i
was like getting chills like i put that
out in 2015 you know and so
like i'm listening to it today like damn
you can't stop like you got to keep
going like
you know music is kind of a back burner
thing for me like you know
i'm saying money wise and artistically
or whatever
i've kind of like reached the point
where i'm kind of stagnant like i've
said everything i needed to say
and to like expand myself i got to open
some more books i got to study some more
to to learn new words and new ideas to
bring to the table
i'm not trying to repeat myself over and
over like every song i want to bring you
like a gym or a nugget
and uh yeah i feel like i've exhausted
myself so now it's like harder
because i can't like i've got some dope
stuff that i've brought to the table but
for me to repeat it is a disservice to
myself and to the fans you know
so i need to like come with something
new at least that's my
my you know my uh um
plumb line of whatever from creating i
don't want to just keep using the same
words or
like how many how many times can you say
you know what i'm saying synchronistic
linguistic mystic you know privilege you
know using all these same words
in every song that's just whack you know
people do it
technon does it for sure you know he but
he's a beast with it
but he uses a lot of the same stuff you
know yellow wolf all these people who
are like tongue twisters or whatever
you hear them saying the same stuff or
even even not making sense what the
stuff they're saying
i don't know i think i hold myself at a
standard to like i don't want to fall
below something it's hard for me to make
music now but i am doing a little bit of
music
good man oh yeah we have to do something
man for sure like if we do something
together we'll do it man
i get you because you got i remember
what stood out to me for you early on
you had uh
you were going as a you know uh mystic
prophet you had like
mystic prophet productions i think it
was and you got a song by that title and
i was like
i'm like what did you know about the
mystic prophets man no it was more
more like the mystic style just the
style for sure
of the the music it was more i don't
know it wasn't really
because hardcore is more of like old
school you know like icp great [Â __Â ]
type stuff
uh uh and whatnot and mine was just a
little bit
different and it was i was inspired by
memphis but a little little
like goth i just put i just said mystic
well it was
yeah and then in my music too my music's
about me about real life being
trying to be accepted for the way
because i'm not your everyday
person i'm a special ed kid that wasn't
special led you know to my
like third grade to senior high school
you know that's that's who i am
you know being misjudged and looked down
on
doubted what are you doing for a living
now like what do you what do you do for
a living i'm sure your work had a lot to
do with you
kind of stepping back right kind of not
really
not really i'm a graphic designer so
like i i design
pretty much like vehicle wraps for for
cars
and stuff uh from personal to commercial
like all the pepsi stuff you see those
big old 18 wheelers
well i designed those graphics that go
into 18 wheelers and i print them out
and my guys stick them on and so
nice nice yeah i think you were doing
like mask reviews and stuff a couple
years ago too
yeah as a collector just i just collect
masks man that was your little mask yeah
it's a dope collection i've got a couple
man mine are like just
piled up in the closet though yeah mine
are bins now
so but you got to showcase them again
because you had you had a nice showcase
in your room
yeah i know i missed it don't don't
remind me man
too much for the kids

into uh
to horace and started learning about not
learning about the genre because i knew
about
icp and all the the bigger names but you
know learning about the underground this
was man
god this was 2010 2009 like trying to
to move around in those same circles and
uh
before i got into the spiritual stuff i
got into
like the uh political stuff and then
started getting into some of the
hardcore circles and
a lot of those guys picked up my music
and uh even though i was like a
christian or whatever and doing more
christian rap
they would say like he's a he's a
christian juggalo and people would share
my stuff out like in those circles
calling me a christian juggalo or
whatever i thought that was cool but
um really big fan of uh
the horror core genre as far as like
some of the artists we mentioned like
low-key
gruesome whoever got songs one psycho
jesus a
bunch of other people but man if you uh
if you like horror core if you like
hardcore uh you know rap music
and uh listen to a little bit of metal
