how are you I'm great thank you so much
for having me here this is so exciting
I've been looking forward to it all day
and universe end of cleared my plate so
I could energetically get get ready for
the day it's a blessing pleasure to have
you I've been looking forward to this
conversation - I've been like I know we
booked it a couple weeks ago and I'm
just kind of going to the calendar when
does that mean terview okay here it is
it's tonight we have a mutual friend
Karina Pataki who sent me your your your
links and said hey you need to get
connected with her she's right up your
alley you guys talk about a lot of the
similar stuff and so sent me your links
at me linked to your group and join your
group on Facebook which is the
metaphysical Christian and a bunch of
people on there talking about a bunch of
metaphysical stuff and most of them are
Christians and relating it back to the
Christian faith and so I've been
watching your live streams and what you
bring to the table is like I couldn't
wait to have you on so kindred spirits
here yeah I know something I know some
of the people are watching right now so
hey hey people we're all part of the
same tribe so heck yeah so yeah so again
just talking about like mentioning
Kareena and and there's so many other
people like her now and so I feel like
this stuff we've been talking about has
kind of been on the back burner as far
as like in Christianity like taboo you
can't talk about it but now it's like
becoming the standard and we were
finding out there's a
nitch for this there's a lot of people
that God's dealing with maybe they're
returning back to the ancient path maybe
they're having supernatural encounters
that are out of this world maybe they're
not convicted when they're in things
that the church realm says that you
shouldn't mess with or be convicted of
but they feel like they're drawn they
feel like God is calling them two realms
where we're told got the church to stay
away from are you seeing a lot of that
going on with with your community as
well oh my gosh
every day every every hour of every day
I get so many people that come as my
group or find me through you know almost
all the different ways that are out
there now and yeah I think what I want
to see a lot of is people have this
they're having an inward experience I
don't have any words to put to it
they're having an inverted fear
experience where they're sensing of
energy they're sensing supernatural
entities angels or fairies or you know
they might not even know what to call it
they have no name to put to this and I
talk to so many people who tell me
they've known since they were little but
there was something about them that
maybe other people didn't have or I
think just a lot of people in our
Western world that shut down their
intuitive experiences there's with
abilities because the world tells us
it's not real and the world tells us we
have to have logic mind only and
intellect only those things are good I
like those things but when we can
combine them with our intuition and all
these amazing gifts that God gives us
then real magic starts to happen yeah so
I see so and we're finding is we you
know we're creating this like we are you
know all like-minded people were
creating this mish and I get a lot of
people in my group who say I didn't know
that I didn't know I could see both they
thought they had to choose they thought
they had to choose between their belief
in Jesus Christ whatever that may be we
have a wide range of kind of doctor and
their non doctrines or appie
understandings as who Jesus is but the
Jesus is really important in their life
and this other it's not another world we
know it's not separate it's not one of
the same but you know these names that
we give these other energies and in fact
we find that there's no separation
they're one in the same
yes when people can find that Union then
their life starts oh wow you know
dramatic
improve in all sorts of ways so they
don't feel that inner conflict walking
around with that everyday that's no way
to live a bit horrible yeah yeah you
tell me like a lot of people feel like
they have to choose they've told they
have to choose you either dis or or
you're not or was there ever a time
where you had to choose because I feel
like I had to choose you know in in it
led I went on another dark night of the
soul trying to choose and run from the
things that God was calling me to and
but the church you know my church family
I was a Christian minister evangelist
sharing my story doing gospel hip-hop
and traveling the churches speaking of
hundreds of kids and when I finally
started talking about some of these
experiences or some of the things that I
was studying in the Bible like I had to
choose it was either this or that and
that choosing process took a couple
years and it was a pendulum back and
forth and almost drove me mad of choose
choose aside did you ever have to do
that and just kind of like you know
until you kind of like fully embraced
who you were and what God was calling to
I had the perception that I hadn't you I
never really did so my my ego in my head
especially in my early twenties
especially so I I have a great bike and
well I have a lot of post graduate post
post graduate I have a lot of graduate
degree and so as I was beginning my PhD
journey my intellect old me you need to
choose it's like it's one or the other
you can't walk those paths and I was I'm
so blessed to have them brought that
people brought into my life that showed
me that's not true so highly
intellectual people people who are also
deeply spiritual and they thought were
starting talk to me about chakras I
learned about chakras and about
meditation from a Catholic brother from
a monk and he when he talked about
chakras I kind of perked up it hadn't
occurred to me that I could do that and
so before I felt like I had to make the
choice gods and all these people in my
past that showed me it's all one of the
things I also happen to come from a very
moderate Protestant background we're
certainly we were
not talking about chakras we're not
really talking about angels we weren't
talking about that but it also if I'd
asked the question maybe a couple people
in my church would have told me you
can't ask that question that you're like
going to hell because you know there can
be people like that anywhere you go who
are who are on that road but a lot of
people would have said I have no idea
how to answer you that's not really what
we talked about you need to find a book
yeah and so then what's been able to
equip me but they would have shut me
down
so I recognize I'm extremely blessed in
that way and the good news is I know
there's communities out there and their
communities out there for all of us that
will help us on our journey you but I
never really did I'm you know what in
the end that was really you know when
you say that and I think that was like
for me too is like the whole duality of
it's either this or that it's what was
messing with me until it's like kind of
embraced all of it and just the how
eclectic life is and spirituality is in
Christ is right and it's so eclectic and
it's not easy it's not this or that it's
a little bit of all of it here a little
there a little and so for me it was like
when I was okay with like walking I kind
of feel like it's also the the narrow
road because it's either right or left
in the narrow road is that didn't fly a
lot in between it's not right or left
it's not here nor there it's somewhere a
sweet spot in the middle you know and I
think that's the people come to I love
ya reclaiming what the narrow path way
from a bunch of stuff it's figuring out
how to balance it in your life is
figuring out how to bring it in here
like with integrity so that you're
grounded so that you're not you're not
kind of floating away off you know
floating way off with no no sense of who
you are so we have we can have all of
those yeah that's actually the narrow
path actually I love that and I think
too when people make the realization
when I made the realization about how
abundant God is God is it Jesus didn't
come for us to build best for us to feel
guilt insane for us to say no to all of
these reality but these are things that
show us how the bring is into our live
and you know I think that's part of the
part of the work of being the church
today when we can do that do that

we're spreading the good news we are
part of the good news we're creating
I've been saying this a lot lately we're
creating the beloved Kingdom and we're
doing that all together yeah why what
you got going to have everything yep I'm
with you um I know we just jumped into
conversation I usually get the guests to
kind of start off and just kind of give
a background so I know we're already
just gung-ho into it but for the people
who don't know who you are and what you
bring to the table just kind of
introduce yourself really quick from
from your perspective who you are what
you bring to the table I love it I think
that was a great handle for me too a
little bit of my story yeah I'm
Valentine I'm a minister I'm not
currently serving a church because I'm
doing this kind of work
out there in the world I'm also a
scholar of a PhD in New Testament and I
help people who are people who are
Christians bring metaphysics into their
daily faith journey and do that with
integrity and do that was enjoy and
leave the guilt leave the shame leave
all of that behind so like I said before
I was raised in the church I've tried to
lead the church several times every time
I tried to leave I haven't done that
lately colleagues who might be watching
this every time I tried to leave the
church and my young adulthood God pulled
me back I mean it was it was comical I
was like I'm gonna take some time away
from the church and maybe I'll become a
post-christian and two weeks later I
find myself like walking down the aisle
to become a member of a new community so
God has kept me very Browns it within
communities of faith who've been
incredibly incredibly supported even
when they don't get me they've been
really really supportive and so I want
to send that out there this is a
blessing to everyone who is surfing
that's something I like to help people
connect and yeah so I was and I always
had inclination toward these kind of
topics when I was a kid when I was
little all the books I read all the all
the kind of TV shows I watched we're all
yes sir happen this is had some
supernatural qualities about them I
didn't quite know what to do with all of
that and I grew up in the south group in
Louisiana and grew up with great people
great search family yeah all of all of
that but I did indeed question certainly
people a lot of people around me didn't
think these kind of questions were okay
and pursued I got a I got a masters and
I wouldn't go get my PhD and while I was
getting my PhD I was
you know it's incredibly head oriented
logic and I started attending the class
and the class was on dreams and dream
interpretations we interpreted our
dreams every week and like really
quickly it was the best class ever kept
me very grounded my first year and I
quickly began to see that some dreams
weren't just dreams that people were
having the same dreams but sometimes you
know the stuff had like 50 people at it
so 10 people would come they all had the
same symbol pops up in their dream the
night before people were dreaming about
this huger they were dreaming about the
past they were dreaming about past lives
like all of this stuff was coming
forward and I quickly began to see that
all that stuff I'd been interested in
had some may begin to learn names and so
from there took off and all these years
later Here I am and doing this kind of
work day-in day-out and just love it I
love it it's a joy joy and fulfilling
every single day to help connect people
to be practices and not leave Jesus
behind we'd leave you this behind yeah
for sure for sure that's the thing too
for like me it's like just reconciling
both sides let's reconcile in the New
Age person who's been told that you know
who's kind of far from what we would
call Christ because they've been told
that you know they can't do that in this
and then they've been told some of them
have never even had that relationship
they don't even know anything about
Christian Delmer or Jesus and so I kind
of serve as a bridge there and then on
the other side too which is probably
even more of a much-needed bridge as de
is the the the people in church who are
having these encounters and they're
being you you know when they try to open
up about it they're being condemned and
let's pray against that that was demonic
those those weren't really aliens those
were demons you know that kind of right
so you know psychic abilities and what
we would call spiritual giftings in the
church and that kind of thing so really
serving both sides and it seems like
you're doing that as well you grew up in
Louisiana you grew up in a tree port I
was born in Houma so I grew up in
Louisiana as well
did you ever hear about the Hosanna
Assembly a God Church in Hammond
Louisiana did you hear about that whole
thing well they they ended up doing this
show
true detective over the over the over
the over the church I anyway I was going
to that church when I got born again it
came back to the Lord like I was in
really dark witchcraft in Louisiana and
started calling all these churches
needed help and called Hosanna Assembly
and about 14 other churches and there
were the only ones that called me back
but anyway this church end up getting in
trouble for like it was a regular
Assemblies of God Church but they ended
up getting into animal sacrifice and
satanic rituals and child abuse and
things like that and there were a lot of
noted people in in the in the city and
the government and who were a part of it
teachers doctors lawyers police officers
were all like in on this like trading
their children and stuff yeah I didn't
know if you knew about it but that's a
just one thing that rounds the bail for
Louisiana I used to go to that church
and uh I left before anything got weird
like that but I don't know if you had
any research have looked into that no
but I probably had moved before then I
spent about 20 years I love their
records yes right at 20 years actually
so that most of my subset all my adult
life away you all can do the math man
after I graduated college but you know
that the capacity for that kind of
trauma for spiritual abuse especially in
churches that are the more closed-minded
the churches the higher the likelihood
of that kind of trauma that kind of
abuse and it's so against the New
Testament it's so against everything
that Jesus came here to teach us and I
know that God has got a forgiveness as
well so it's incredibly complicated
incredibly tricky I work with a lot of
people who have encountered spiritual
abuse they've been in churches that have
been hold the whole brain really too
tightly and not letting the Spirit of
God move throughout the church and in
real ways so I wasn't there for that
limit for ebony though yeah I was I mean
not one
now I'm just trying to find common
ground Louisiana doesn't mean to go so
dark on this quick but up a little bit
let's lighten it up a little bit
channeling this is something that's done
so as far as so if you're a Christian
and and and you hear the term channeling
what does that mean to you now from all
your studies and kind of reconciling
spirituality with your faith what this
channeling mean to you this is such a
good question and like God has such a
sense of humor because I've just been
thinking about this the past couple of
months I'm like I need a better
definition okay so here goes I think
this is probably the first time I've
spoken publicly about it so this is
great I think a million is when we have
and kind of a direct connection to the
divine whether that's directly to God
whether that city angelic realm whether
it's so like other benevolent beings
that we may not have a name for we don't
exactly know who origin to an entity
that we do know you know that we have a
relationship with and when we receive a
message that is not part of our direct
mind but comes filtered through us
that's channeling so this has happened
to me a couple of times with clients is
the first time it happened it completely
took me by surprise I like this 30
seconds of a message I had no idea it
was coming and I think I was really
tired at the time like I hadn't slept
very well and it was I'm just it was a
one-on-one it was just the two of us and
I haven't not be recording it I record
almost all my sessions with clients so
that they can have a copy of it it just
I forgot to hit record that day so it
took all of those lowering my filters
for me to be able to like experience
this and it was fun even right after
work I was like I don't know where that
came from and she started laughing she
was like yeah you were like in the zone
but I think it important thing to
remember about channeling is that it's
always filtered through human so there's
always capacity for my personality for
my biases or anything that needs Haiti
to get into that message that's not a
bad thing because I'm an individual God
gave me a personality and there's always
there's always potential for so it's
essential for me to say something not
exactly right because it has to
something that divine has to be filtered
through human vocal cords
human brain human ego but when those
beings trying to get out of the way we
kind of get these really cool messages
that are you know that are meant for us
and I know people who are that's what
they do find out all day every day is
practice channeling but yeah I think we
see lots of examples of this in the
Bible like every apocalypse is in some
way kind of a channeled message filtered
through a very particular worldview that
we don't really have access to today and
telling us kind of the cool things about
these direct experiences of God so that
makes that yeah yeah you gave some some
examples there and and I think to again
this checked I think a lot of it is us
channeling God through you mentioned
dreams channeling the father's heart
through dreams I mean I think dreams are
one of the biggest ways that in the
scriptures that God says he'll speak to
you you can't run from that you can you
can you know busy yourself throughout
the day and have so much stuff that they
got going on that you don't have time to
listen to God or you're such an awesome
minister that you can't receive from the
father but when you put your head on
your pillow like all of us have to go to
sleep and God opens up the eyes of our
and ears of our understanding while
we're asleep in man the dream state is a
really interesting place as far as like
receiving messages throughout the dream
state definitely and you can try to stay
up all night but eventually your body is
gonna say all your fields are all your
filters will disappear yeah I love
teaching people to work with dreams it's
such an amazing modality and we all
dream even people who don't remember
their dreams you are still drinking
you're actually still getting the
benefit of the dream state of the
channeling state I thought that like
thinking of it in that way now so as far
as channeling I like to say that I like
the channel God channel the Father's
heart you know to channel the Holy
Spirit Jesus create encounter you know
what about like chanting you mentioned
these other entities or angels or
overseers some people would say
ancestors there's some interesting stuff
there would you go ever go into a
session because I know you said you did
it just kind of in passing like it's
just something that just through
would you ever like intentionally try to
like I don't know if it's like opening
up your it's not like you step out of
the way or that or the there's different
forms of channeling let's just say that
where you get a message from an entity
or an angel that's one thing and there's
another thing where you kind of move to
the side and let them speak through you
is that something that you would open
yourself up to do for people who are
looking into this who we're trying to
get into it as well would you I mean cuz
we do it within church like we just say
if the Lord and it's like you know Holy
Spirit speaking through us and it was a
word from God it was like hey I don't
know there's certain times where I'm
just in conversation on the podcast and
I just know like I feel it
God's ministering to somebody then and
but as far as like other angels and
Michael or Raphael or some of the other
guardian angels that God has given over
us would it be something that you can go
directly to in contact from a Christian
perspective
yeah the Christian perspective we can't
I mean yeah Chris we've got angel covers
I mean they're like all over the place
in Scripture in Christian history and
people's personal experiences I mean
every Chicken Soup for the Soul book
talks about angelic and you know angelic
encounters and so the way I describe
this is that we are part of the same
choir with angels singing to the same
God so we're all we're not worshipping
angels we're not seeking it what's the
right way to say it yeah we're I think
that we're not worshipping angels is
really key associated Christians or
worship is reserved for God and God
alone and however you conceive of the
Trinity or not the Trinity or you know
whatever that is for you mm-hmm
and so angels though they're made of
created beings they're on another
dimension they're in another realm do I
know exactly what that is no I can't
describe it scientifically alright I
don't have that I don't have
acknowledged yet next next life after
this yes I will but so they're there to
be friends through us I'm sure angels
have other things to do they're not only
here to be friends to human so that's
part of what they do and so you know we
see angles by names coming to people in
Scripture we see this you know and every
like Renaissance painting ever
and handle the different personalities
just like human foods and so I would
actually describe this as relational and
I think all Christianity is relational
we get to know we have a personal
relationship with Jesus Christ that's
really foundational to all being a
Christian and we can also have
relationships with angels and get to
know their personalities and for a lot
of people I found when Jesus is too
scary because they've been traumatized
or they've been told that Jesus doesn't
love them or Jesus is against them or
they're going to hell angels are a
really nice stuff
re-establishing that relationship with
Jesus but I would say that being
grounded is really helpful before you
jump in to kind of channeling or angelic
work and to really have spiritual tools
at your disposal to keep you grounded to
keep you label to live your daily life
so you're not so overwhelmed all the
time and delegator keeps really really
strong energy but yeah I think that just
like I would call a best friend if I'm
having a crisis or not even a crisis I'm
just if I if I need advice on something
we can also call on angels in the same
way so from my perspective go for it
they go for it with wisdom yeah I am
yeah there's a I got a friend of mine
Gil Hodges and he kind of got this uh
thing that he put out it's called the
three plumb lines and it's talking about
the first plumb line is the cross of
Christ second from Linus love honor and
respect and in the third plumb line is
ask the Father so for me it's like I'm
open for all of this stuff but first my
plumb line is coming to my father like
if he's opening if he's allowing me to
experience it you got to go through him
you can't get to me unless you unless he
approves it and that's for any type of
entity right it was you know the good
guys the bad guys he kind of
orchestrates this kind of stuff at least
in my world view and but I'm open for it
I don't really know for me and just kind
of like I don't like really like try to
engage the angelic on my own but I kind
of go through the Father and say hey if
you have any of them that want to say
hello maybe this one maybe that one or
and just want to blow my mind you know
I'm open to it and I think that I think
that that for the Christian sets the
intention of to have a positive
encounter and for nothing harmful to
come through or whatever right yeah I
love that
and not every tool is for every person
and that's okay you know some people
they're just like I just don't connect
to like with angels I'm like that angels
don't have a problem with that they
don't care
thanks they don't need you to you know
they're we're all afraid to God together
so you know just that's that's where
they want us to direct our energy but
they are available you know for people
that feel that connection and yeah and I
always now always tell people if I
suggest any tool and it doesn't resonate
with you don't do it that's you know if
we go into it with fear or apprehension
we're gonna get really messed up kind of
energy coming back to us because we're
gonna replace our own fears back to us
so we really have to go into any of this
work with a lot of self-reflection and
being really grounded having fears of
practices that will help bring you back
your record - you're thinner yeah
because it's that direct connection with
God that's the most important so in some
of my sessions I've been doing with
clients and and just when we go deep and
something I've experienced by myself but
then doing it with clients is uh and
talking about channeling and talking
about working with the Angels a lot of
times in my prayer language I'll begin
to say a phrase over and over and I
started writing them down and looking
them up on Google Translate and it's
been translating to like words for the
people something that the person is
going through or prophetic work for and
it works with the intuition it works
with word of knowledge word of wisdom
being able to discern and but it's been
some really interesting stuff come
through speaking in tongues glossolalia
and actually writing it down and
translating it on google translate it's
kind of funny because we'll be kind of
in the trance and I'll write some stuff
down and then say hold on you know just
kind of quietly pull up Google Translate
and get these messages in these words
and stuff and uh and it's in and they
come out to be phrases and and have to
do with something the person is going
through and for some cases it's been the
names of angels like different terms
that are like we are for Humanity
we're here to help some of them were
kind of strange like burn candles for me
to show up like some of that kind of
stuff but it was very interesting that
just through the prayer language some of
the you know some of the stuff that was
just repeating over and over I wrote it
down looked it up so in a sense that's
kind of like channeling those messages
back and forth from from the spirit
realm and from the angelic as well

I'm super curious though it's going on
my list immediately oh my Friday for my
day to do all this kind of research so
I'm Friday I'll be I love that what a
cool experience and yeah I think that's
definitely a foremost like a form of
channeling it doesn't even matter I
always tell people I'm gonna care what
we call it call it Channel and call it
direct message call it you know
telephone line whatever is happening
that's the most important thing and
we're listening you're listening well
you're receiving these messages in a way
that works for you and we're all so
different and I'll tell everyone I have
such a logic brain like it's ridiculous
I have to work so hard to get it out of
the way
- do it anyone do it but yeah I have I
have such little I have such little
habits and boxes that I love to put
things in and so like if I can get my
logical mind out of the way absolutely
anyone can and bring in that intuitive
side of themselves and so that's the
really good news is Anibal for all of us
you know it's not restricted like
absolutely anyone can engage the part of
themselves but I love that and now I'm
alright so I'm trying to curious though
are the phrases that you're receiving in
like Greek or Hebrew or are they most of
the time that were in Filipino the
majority of the top some of it was
Chinese but the most of the time when I
would look it up all of it translate it
to Filipino which was interesting and no
no that was just just you know just my
my own personal prayer language I would
as I was saying it there'd be certain
phrases that I was saying and I would
have to kind of break it up and change
the spelling a little bit to see how it
is spelled and just put it in and
translate it to English and it would it
would try to find a dialect and it would
come up as Filipino the majority of the
time which I'm not really interested
yeah yeah inside and outside of
Christian circles just when we let our
egos go to the wayside and we can really
receive then yeah the I've heard of
people have never spoken or heard this
language in their life being able to
speak it and so yeah we can just I don't
know we can receive this knowledge the
direct communicate and that's cool I'm
so I'm so excited for her you know it's
a whole new level really it takes a
little time but uh but it's worth it you
know and just getting ideas and and
being able to translate it back and uh
especially if you uh I don't know we
I've just worked it into a couple
sessions with some clients and this has
been beautiful and then even for me of
getting names of which seems like the
names of angels and I've just begin to
call some of these angels during times
of stargazing and asking for like
assistance and if you're out there say
hello kind of thing and really cool
encounters with the other side and
by permission of the father you know

I like I like to use this term being on

just the term divination and look up the
term divination even in the Bible
because we've heard there's like some
misconceptions or one time maybe it was
rebuked or there was a mistranslation in
the New Testament when it uses that term
but when we look up some other stuff in
the Old Testament it was like something
that was practiced by the prophets and
casting of lots and rolling of dice and
picking up of sticks and bones even and
some really I mean there's even what
does it be the the dice that they had
what was it called the ermine theorem
that would out yeah light up or shake or
vibrate there's different lore about
what would happen but these types of
ways that is like it leaves it up to
chance but it says that this chance is
is the hand of the Lord like whatever
these the lot falls upon its it's God so
you liken that to the cards and speaking
of that like I have a terror it's called
the terror of the Most High so it's like
bible bible scriptures on them and they
they have the the regular tarot but they
have a like compassion on their in
manifestation they're just different
words with with each card and i use them
personally on on a session we were
taking callers one night on a psychic
show and i begin to use these cards
while i was in prayer for these people
and every card was like as i pull out it
and tell them hey this is the card you
got and this is what it means like i
would just kind of pull the card and i
would kind of get the download from God
the spirit intuition word of knowledge
about what it meant to them and how to
pray software was compassion and the
person called in and they're like oh I'm
just heard having a hard time I would
just begin to release compassion I would
again to pray that they would encounter
the father's compassion you know and
pull another car there's abundance
father I bless them with abundance I
pray you open up these doors and I would
use it it was like right spot-on every
time and it was like something that like
I was able to kind of say wow I could
see how this is a tool of something that
could help me in these sessions and and
in doing these these prayers and
readings for people it was beautiful so
it's something you you address and you
guys talk about so what where does taro
or divination what where do you stand on
it we're looking at it from a Christian
perspective yeah I think you named it
with we see divination all over all over
scripture really and it was it was
common in Christian practices y'all
until like the 1700s sixteen seventeen
hundred people were using these tools
often on a daily basis oh my gosh your
stories resonate so much and so I I
really bring this back to law of
attraction and we talked about
everything vibrate you know what we put
out there what was it out there we
always get back I mean always you put
fear and anxiety out there you're gonna
get it back but loving compassion out
there you're gonna start receiving that
back and God has created this beautiful
quantum world
in order for that be the case so
divination really works in my my
attractive and so angel card once it's
one form of divination I love it they do
use that word circus I think that's my
back it's our word definition or chant
it's actually form of channeling as well
when we use angel cards but there are
tools they're only tools so I sometimes
I'll encounter people and they want to
use an angel card about every decision
they have to make and I'm like just
decide what you're gonna have for lunch
you don't even you don't need an angel
card for that and let you know your
honor you're having serious health
problems or something you need a little
bit of guidance you're you're just fine
on your own and not every angel card is
designed for every every situation and
so it's also good to get to know your
tools know your deck so that you can so
that you can use them I think
angel cards are really helpful to help
us learn about the law of attraction so
just like like you experienced you're
using these cards and you're putting out
compassion to someone and then the card
compassion come see you that's a
beautiful confirmation that you like
yeah you're on the right track
yeah that's god-given and so that's just
that's a wonderful confirmation and then
they're really helpful if we're feeling
stuck about a situation and I know for
me if I can't get my ego out of the way
and I'm just like this or that you know
I just can't seem to move forward with
something in my life the angel cards can
provide a lot of great points of
reflection for me and so if I draw one
I'm like oh that's not what I wanted
that actually gives me a lot of insight
about myself I'm like oh well I would I
have some interior desire that I didn't
even know I had and this angel card is
reflecting it to be really good like
that and sometimes that you just get a
nice little message you know the angel
cards are going to be as limited as the
cards themselves so right right here
I've got a beautiful deck of guardian
angel sorrow from Radley Valentine no
relation but I do like it black so
everything in this house I know 70
something 77 cards and I think you know
so you don't have your own yet hard no
it's on the it's on
on the to-do list no I'm - me - no me -
I want something I'm gonna make
something yeah these are these are ones
that I get my clients currently when
they when they start working with me -
so they've been really really helpful
for people and you have people that are
hesitant about them I'm like if your
hips don't use them no big deal God has
another way to talk to you yes I'll have
to use them they're a tool they're a

not like Angel cards themselves are in

contemporary technology we have
contemporary spiritual technology this

resonate with you and that's where we
trust our own intuition trust the Holy
Spirit to guide us the ones that are
meant for us if you looked into Christ
alignment at all do you know Ginny from
Christ alignment have you looked into
their ministry how am I gonna definitely
write it down good friend of mine
beautiful soul they do destiny card
readings they don't mention Tarot really
against Tarot but they love destiny
cards which are kind of like cards in a
sense and they do they do readings and
in the marketplace and they set up kind
of like a new-age shop I mean you they
don't go under the title Christian they
don't even use the word Jesus they call
them spirit of truth they want to set
you up with an encounter a meditation of
visualization and see what the spirit of
truth would say to you and so the spirit
of joy is Jesus and so definitely
definitely check those guys out if
they're beautiful and that she's there
out of Australia and doing some really
really cool things mentioning them and
and in those cards and Bethel caught a
lot of flack for her son that is a
minister under Bethel and it operates
there a lot does a lot of conferences
and he's an evangelist - but
mentioning them in Bethel Bethel caught
a lot of flack because they tied it back
to these people who are doing angel
cards or destiny college or whatever so
all the Calvinists and stuff kind of
like jump board and like hey you guys
are doing Tara Reed
and you connected with the ministry and
Bill Johnson didn't throw them under the
bus when he had to make a statement so
he did a release and kind of like no
these are my people and we know what
their ministry is very fruitful and they
have a very peculiar ministry and stuff
like that so but mentioning those to
Bethel Calvinists throwing stones and
then you mention angel cards I gotta ask
you about Doreen Virtue where you stand
I'm sorry I'm a little bit loopy because
of this uh this chamomile tea Doreen
Virtue what do you think about her angel
cards and that kind of stuff okay
I don't know um so here's one here's a
deck of her cards I like these this is
daily guidance from your angels horrible
cards yes the drain is a Christian and
it's interesting when I first started
learning about angel card she was
declaring herself a Christian even back
then like years ago so it's always been
part of her identity
and she has tons of decks of Angel cards
and she recently in the past two years
or so underwent a huge conversion from
one way being Christian to another way
being a Christian she became pretty
evangelical pretty hard kind of hardcore
became rebaptised or maybe used to
baptize for the first time so I want to
honor her spiritual journey is it is her
spiritual journey it is not mine and she
seems to have a close relationship with
Jesus and I'm gonna give all thoughts of
that that's not for me to interfere with
at all in doing so she has turned the
corner into a fear-based mode of being I
said she just announced to all her other
anger cards oh not the others all the
anger cards acts that she and that she
produced
I think the vibration of these are still
pretty high so I will so use them
personally and if you want them you
better Stephanie or it's a word out
y'all you know they're gonna be like
hundreds of dollars pretty soon
used X on Amazon so grab them now but
she's doing what in my opinion she's
doing what a lot of people did I'm
converted and convicted so the newest
believers and a producer how those
certain ones are both on fire it's
usually only after a few years of
refinement that we come to understand
the only way let see will arrive at that
place in her life with nothing but love
and light towards her that she's to see
what she's walking her walk the way she
knows how
so um I think she's doing some damage
who've been terribly confused terribly
hurt by some of her words and she's not
always using her words with a lot of
kindness right now and then sometimes so
I am wishing her all the best and also
we're we're forking our own dish it's a
hard thing I'm doing my thing it's all
good I'm not much of a conspiracy
theorist I'm not much of one who with
throw stones and condemnation and things
but I want to just throw this out there
just just just and you don't have to
comment if you don't want two years ago
they were talking about that the New Age
was gonna infiltrate the church that the
Satanists were gonna infiltrate the
church and they're gonna this is what
they said this was in the 90s that the
Satanists were gonna disguise themselves
as Christians and come into the church
and infiltrate that way and then like
just entertaining weird thoughts and I
mean I'm glad they're in the faith if
you will but what if what if and this is
Paul this is that there is not even that
I don't even believe it but what if they
there isn't a real conversion with her
Stephen Bank are some of these big-name
Satanist people who are now in the
church because they're all denouncing
the moves of the Holy Spirit speaking in
tongues shaking falling out anything
spiritual it's a no-go it's a strictly
word base intellectual knowledge of the
Scriptures that kind of gets you saved
or proves that you're a Christian how
much of the of your life of your lining
up to the word and
it was just kind of a weird idea like
what if in some weird galaxy they are
part of that prophecy where the
Satanists or the New Agers infiltrated
the church to undo the moves of God to
infiltrate revival and shut down
revivals and speak out against the move
of God that's going on in the earth I'm
not saying that I believe it I'm not
saying that it's true is something to
think about of something that I thought
about it I'm just vocalizing it not that
I believe probably wrong I hope that I'm
wrong I hope they're born again and
they're just madly in love with Jesus
and just rejecting all of the stuff that
they used to entertain which is probably
the case but I thought it would be
really because we heard about that right
I mean you know I'll say that but on
it's a kind of a two-sided coin because
they say that that's us
we are the new face infiltrate of the
church or they look at Bethel and say
bessel is the New Age that infiltrated
the church and that kind of thing
something to think about though right
theory though I've ever heard but I love
what you said about like actually did
not like the fear-based moving away from
these practices not because you feel
like they're not an authentic expression
of your spirituality but because you're
scared because and to me it's that
you're paying more attention to Satan or
whatever you call Satan then you are to
God
and to me that's always the problem I'm
like if I'm not talking more about Jesus
than I am about anything else why like
why am i that that's not what that's not
actually what I want to put out there in
the world and yeah so I love the way you
phrase it though that they're actually
like denying the Holy Spirit in some way
and on fire for whatever their on fire
for God bless and it's so funny because
I I don't actually it's not even New Age
it's old age for sure yeah right we're
like reclaiming old practices that have
been squat that response by the
Enlightenment so going back there's a
way that has been a way being Christian
for a long time but the you know the
whole the whole Watchmen on the wall
will say there's nothing new about the
New Age ladies and gentlemen it's very
old the devil is up to his old schemes
so very old the serpent was there in the
garden if we're trading the church evil
Satan that there's no Christianity and
like we're our own worst enemies you
know like we get in our way humans we as
humans we get in our way much or easily
and it's easy to point a finger and be
like that that's evil talking when maybe
it's just like our own fears that are
talking you know without discounting the
realities of any any of those entities
but we're yeah we came in our own way
way more mmhmm yeah it was just
something to talk about an address cuz I
I definitely get the majority of like
people who were like whether they're
critiquing my work or concerned about me
or whatever they'll send me Stephen bang
cars video hurts like hey what about
this guy what about this what like come
on stop SiC me this guy stuff you know
God's working on him and and he wanted
to come on my show and debate me and uh
and I asked him to come on the show
years ago when he was new age and he was
too busy then when he got born again
asked him to come on and share his story
but uh but now he he kind of watched
some of my live streamed and hear me
relate the Kundalini and in the Holy
Spirit and pranayama all is one and he's
like he wanted to come on and uh and and
talk about it on here and debate I'm not
looking to debate anybody I'm just here
for a conversation and what-ifs and
rolling ideas off of one another you
know yeah like our incarnations are just
way too short to spend like fighting and
debating with people I'm much more
interested in people who are wanting to
transform the way they understand their
relationship with Jesus and expand their
spirituality if I want to if I want to
watch a debate all colligate politics
otherwise there was a period of time you
should have caught me if probably like
15 years ago now I would have loved to
debate you and go circles and raise your
scriptures not listen to you
listen to your point but raise my point
higher and all that kind of stuff anyway
years ago next thing we were talking
about let's talk about Reiki what is
Reiki okay Oh
I mean I'm newly a Reiki Master teacher
so this is a fun topic for me yeah
breaking is it's a modality and it's
modality where we change universal life
energy and Reiki was discovered in 1922
by jazz by a Japanese man and it's been
brought to the west so it's almost like
yeah we're coming up on 100 years here
yes the Reiki is just a form of healing
energy that is come through the hands or
the intention of the Reiki practitioner
and Reiki your ureter Reiki like like
level 1/2 or master depending on what
philosophy and school you come from
and so with Reiki you can send Reiki a
Reiki practitioner can send Reiki energy
to anyone it never at one of the things
I love about Reiki is it never does harm
it goes to the part of your body of your
soul of your spirit wherever you need it
the most
and we don't have to over direct that so
this is really universal god energy and
all the trainings that I've engaged
actually talked about God like we talked
about the energy is coming directly from
God it's a very focused energy it's very
powerful but very gentle and I actually
have I've actually had some online
breaky like group Reiki sessions where I
offer Reiki to the entire group and then
to individuals those have been so much
fun
and so I'm going to I'll be looking to
teach people Reiki in the near future so
it's been a beautiful complement to my
Christian journey and I love love just
love incorporating it with myself with
my client you can use you can practice
Reiki on yourself which is just
fantastic
so anytime i'm feeling any times it was
scattered i'll do Reiki on myself if i'm
feeling oh no any aches or pains or
something that I can offer Reiki to
myself so it's a beautiful compliment
but there's a lot of misconceptions
about it so I'm kind of yeah I'm kind of
curious if there's questions about that
that are coming in and I can answer
specific questions or yeah if you ever
have any experiences of Reiki um not by
that name
so I remember having my first
conversation with it
so called new age girls some years ago
and she was a study in Reiki and Reiki
practitioner I was like we do the laying
on of hands it's very similar being able
to sense and feel and move energy and
things like that so for me all of this
stuff is the same thing the pranayama
the lifeforce the Reiki the Holy Spirit
being able to feel the Holy Spirit and
you know all of that kind of stuff would
is it like into the same thing cuz some
people especially Christians are really
quick to say nope it's not the same but
for you in your mind is it the same
another's different modalities and
different ways to interact but is it the
same life force or the Holy Spirit
pranayama ogee for me for me personally
totally totally different names and I
would say that the different modalities
have different okay say it again you
broke up there last thing these
different modalities have different
energy signatures okay but they're all
the same
God force and so Reiki will feel
different than laying on of hands but if
we were going to draw a Venn diagram
there's going to be some overlap and you
know pranayama is going to feel a little
bit different than Reiki but there's
going to be some overlap and so there's
this beautiful kind of interchange of
doing all these modalities and just like
as human beings we're all created by God
we all have different personalities so
all these different energy signatures
all these different energies have
different kind of signature is different
feels to them and that's what really
makes it really really fun yeah it's
kind of the upper chakras just with that
those levels of energy so no it's not
restricted to that but it's really good
for connecting actually to the divine
and there's amazing things that happened
during Reiki attunement so which is what
we call the kind of treatments that
people receive with Reiki so and Reiki
is also really important and that unlike
prayer we should only offer Reiki if
it's requested so I will not just
randomly send Reiki to someone that
really needs to be relationship where
they need to request it and then I can
send it but prayer you know I feel like
I can pray for anyone at any at any time
and that people can pray for me at any
time we don't have to have special
requests although we can
this one different Reiki practitioner
awesome I know this kind of maybe ties
into channeling a little bit but
something that you guys mention in the
group and something that I'm kind of
exploring a little bit more open to from
even from a biblical perspective I
definitely addressed some of this in the
book but mediumship and I've always said
this and I still kind of say it I was
like okay I don't really I'm not really
into contacting the dead but what if the
dead contacts you like you know it's a
you know there's some experiences where
that's happened I and I've talked about
this on two podcasts haven't done it yet
but I had a crazy dream and it was so
surreal my uncle who's been passed on
for 15 years now
felt like came to me through dream
symbolism came to me and my dream it was
definitely I mean it was so his features
were so it felt like he was really there
cuz it was so great it was so vivid and
he said and I became and he'd been in
prison for 15 years in the dream he said
I've been in prison for 15 years they
just got free and coming back to reclaim
his house and and kicked everybody out
but said that only I can stay and so we
really we talked about I had another
lady on here and it's almost like maybe
my we hear about spirits being stuck you
know once they leave here whether they
died traumatically or have unfinished
business or maybe there's a sense of
purgatory we had to do a a life review
that took 15 years now they need help
crossing over I don't know I'm you know
I'm open to it definitely some
interesting stuff in the scriptures
about spirits from the other side
crossing over speaking to us Jesus was
taught by his predecessors from beyond
the grave that's definitely practiced in
eastern thought Christianity comes from
the East while we would definitely
should look into that ancestral spirits
watching over us every other culture but
us kind of believes in that impact this
is that so really starting to look into
some of the what-ifs and being open
enough to explore those other realms to
get to the bottom and so-called seek
truths right yeah I love that well so
people may be interested I have I just
did the subset about two weeks ago
it was wonderful we have this like hour
and a half or we kind of demystified
mediumship so one of my natural on my
own but I do love helping people
understand exactly what it is if I'm
with angry saying I'm on I'll go ahead
and give her a plug right here and
what's really helpful really really
informative so for me let's kind of take
30,000 foot view what we're actually
talking about is the nature of the soul
and do we believe that the soul has
existed before we came into these bodies
and continues to exist after was
Christians of course we believe that the
soul continues to exist after after we
die after we leave this body I Pat
Christians believe that we were around
before we came into this body and so you
know why fuss before what happens after
can we talk to our souls in some kind of
other state of being I mean that's
really the question and it's a question
is ye there's someone that we knew
personality that we knew and they have
died is there a part of them that can
still talk to us yeah I think the part
that gets tricky for Christians there's
some particular scriptures that have
been used and a kind of a fear-based way
but I think some of those scriptures
like especially once we read around me
in Leviticus these scriptures are
actually actually saying not to do
necromancy which is getting the dead to
come back to do your bidding and that's
definitely not what we're talking about
I don't know I don't know that's
possible but like yeah we shouldn't do
that so that's taking away free will
like why would we ever do that
but having a loving message from someone
from their soul wherever it may be and
letting that soul secrets and unique
ways you know through a dream through
someone who's gifted at contacting those
particular spirits can be really really
healthy I mean that could be really
really beautiful and certainly it's come
upon me that I would say twice maybe
more just once once it's really strong
where had an aunt who I just knew that
her spirit was in the room she was not
an aunt but I
she knew that well but we were really
really alike the little time we did
spend together we were really really
alike I just knew she was in the room
but very powerful could feel her
personality I felt like she was just
there to offer love and like you're on
the right track and this was only ten
years ago or so it was a long time ago
and like she was just kind of there to
offer some loving support to me and all
of the ego stuff that had existed much
more it wasn't scary
it wasn't suiting you know I wasn't
trying to get her to do anything she was
just there to give me a message of love
and support I think you know the MER
mediumship has so many hang up for us
you know it's really it's really soul
talking we're speaking to from one soul
to another and God made us all so unique
and with these different personalities
like we're all we're all doing things in
different ways and like souls that have
gone on you know wherever we go when we
die may have something to offer us here
but again this is a tool and the one
thing I really discourage people from is
speaking for grief if they're sad about
someone who died yeah we have to go to a
process that's really important to our s
when our incarnated bodies it's a
powerful process it's a holy process
it's sacred
we shouldn't skip it and so trying to
kind of get a message for the sake of
skipping grief if so the bad news is
that won't really work or maybe that's
the really good news
but then when we've done the grief work
and we're in a space where we can
receive those messages they can be
pretty cool
3 3 yeah I'm with you on that it's very
interesting I mean there's some stuff
about reincarnation
Elijah coming back through John the
Baptist or through Jesus and who do you
say I am well some people said you're
this and some people say you're that and
stuff like that so there's definitely
that conversation especially when it
comes to the Bible you know just to rule
it off just as mysticism or something
crazy is definitely not where we are now
people are really doing the research and
asking the questions and they're getting
answers you know some people really know
you're getting answers and I yeah I hope
people will kind of think about
reincarnation and path lies and again
this is
the nature of the soul like after after
me as Katie Valentine died does my soul
get come back for another learning
experience or not like God is abundant
enough to make that happen like why not
sure but is that is that critical for my
Christian faith actually it's not like
my belief in Jesus does that depend on
if my soul gets to come back to another
human body but it sure it's fun to think
about like God Jesus is abundant enough
for me to have the idea for me to
consider it so yeah I find it I find it
really fun and I've found more than one
person to like if we have unexplained
phobias or unexplained injuries chronic
conditions often when we do a little
path life work we might find the origin
was not at this point but in a previous
life in a previous incarnation that we
had and sometimes that can really help
solve those issues so that we can
progress and move forward whatever we're
supposed to learn like we're all here to
learn we're here to have fun we don't we
don't have full access while we're
humans that's part of the fun of it God
does I was a king in the past life I
loved that a great king of Persia hadn't
had many servants that's what I'm like
you I'm I'm a skeptic but it's it's good
cuz there's so much other stuff that I'm
just really just gonna give myself over
to but I mean that's one of the things
you hear is like I found that I'll study
the mind and consciousness to write and
you find that a lot of people who were
really big in the past life are usually
something grandiose that they want to be
in this life I was a great wizard I was
an entertainer I was a rich man you know
I was there's nothing and you're
starting to hear it more I think because
of the scrutiny because we're being
vocal but people like yeah I was just I
was a handmade or I was just a regular
woman had a wife and kids and you know
just carried a regular a lot like yeah
but the majority of all the grandiose
stories you hear they're usually
somebody big they're not just you know
carpenter or something like a tune when
it comes to channeling or mediumship or
trying to reach out to the the past
Adam star seed Bay you're funny he I'm
not even gonna say that
he's calling me calling me Odin there's
this crazy person who thinks I'm Odin
reincarnated and crazy stuff cuz and you
know what like I mean there's some we've
been talking a lot of positive stuff
about this stuff right we've been
talking about all the good the good
sides of this stuff there's let's talk
about some of the scary sighs let's talk
let's talk about like what's off-limits
you know where should we be careful any
of those kind of things because we're
talking about all this stuff
nonchalantly which is beautiful there's
a there's beauty and horror in
everything right there the cross you
know Christianity there's good and bad
stay away from this be careful don't get
caught up with these people that kind of
stuff I can look over I can give you a
lot of reasons why I think that um
reincarnate that like the negative side
of reincarnation and what it does and
and and build escapism and you know a
lot of took notes and just one day just
kind of going through it but what are
some of the the taboo things or some
things that are off-limits or some of
the scary sides because what I like to
say is like I don't want to I want to
tell people to be careful there are
darkness darkness out there there are
many benevolent spirits but there I
don't want to stifle exploration either
so there's a healthy balance for you
have you seen anything have you seen
demonic possession have you seen
doorways open through these tools or
people not doing the inner work what are
some of the warnings and stuff that you
would give with this stuff as well yeah
I think major morning I would give is
twofold one a choice free choice free
choice free choice god no values of us
having choice and if we're doing
anything that is trying to take a choice
away from anyone else to me that's a
total taboo I'm so for instance
sometimes I'll get people there you know
naturally they're concerned about their
kids we're concerned about someone that
they love what can I do a ritual or a
spell or something in order to get them
to do what I want and like well no I
mean we do want someone to do that - you
know we're all free to make horrible
choices and we're free to make great
choices so to me it
the manipulation of anyone else's will
that's not our own we don't want to do
that because we don't want the spiritual
world to do that to us you know and so
if we put that out there in the world we
could be inviting that in to our own
lives and so that's a huge one to me
think that second thing for me is that
so many people I work with are highly
intuitive and they're picking up on
everything they're picking up on low
vibrations of other people maybe other
entities that are out there I think a
lot of the things that we call like the
demons or malevolent spirits are really
just low vibration something I don't
even know exactly what they are but
they're really really low vibration and
they're stuck in a loop where they can't
get out of it for whatever reason I
don't know what that reason is that
doesn't mean we have to help them and I
think a lot of people who are highly
into it I feel like they need to go help
that low vibration spirit I'm like you
do not if you go help that low vibration
spirit it is up to them that helps
themselves it's actually not up to you
we can leave that up to the spiritual
world but because so many people are
helpers they wanted you yes and that's
actually again that's competing on free
will that's that little spirits or
whatever that's their free will
let's not let's not mess with that and
so it's really important to learn how to
put up your own energetic shield how to
know your own energy so well that you
know when there's another energy
whatever name you want to call it that's
impeding on you and you can tell it not
today like no we're not doing this thing
so your own I mean to me it's using
these tools and like I said being really
really grounded having a really strong
faith that will keep you grounded so
that you intuitively know what's are you
and what not for you and you know as far
as like doorways opening things like
that yeah occasionally I do encounter
people and I have enough sensitivity
where I'm like really there's something
kind of lingering on you but those are
not hard to deal with you know I mean
really always do that uses like we did a
little help here you can really create
your energetic boundaries and like it's
not like Jesus is gonna tell us no do
you play all right what do you need what
do you want and like sometimes when we
want things that even aren't in our best
interests you know like I want to close
off my gifts like
like sometime Jesus like that's what you
really want okay and then when we're
ready to open them back up we can yeah I
mean sometimes I do and I do encounter
low vibration energy that are around
people but it's not hard to deal with
that's the thing and like being scared
of it invites more in yeah and I think
you know I fell out but to deal with it
I think that drawn close to the Father
and you and a lot of these tools that
we've been discussing tonight like our
tools for us to use in the highest
vibrational form of love and so for me
that's the standard that's the energy
the Bible says that is love is what
fuels faces like what this what
activates the prophetic is what
activates you being able to read the
cards and things like that at a higher
vibrational frequency versus getting
into manipulation and so that's kind of
what sounds like you're talking about as
far as like the power of suggestion and
so maybe there's some a lot of people in
this who are making it up you know
there's people who know better but they
still do things a certain type of way
whether it's pastors who you know are
using their platform as a means of power
as a means of control or unum Sint
manipulation and way out these people
who were claiming to channel Michael
Jackson and channel Hitler and all of
these kind of things and knowing that
they're just you know taking money from
people and they don't really have
anything to help I mean there's so much
like gray area in there it's like I
think that integrity plays a huge part
manipulation and and and all of those
things kind of we have to wade through
that and it's the the waters are a
little bit muddy there because some
people are more charismatic some people
are more convincing and and obviously so
I mean if we even me just kind of
talking about that church at the
beginning you know hosana assembly that
you know a regular church that got all
of these people to get into some really
crazy far-out satanic stuff and
unsuspecting people that we have to
cover ourselves and we have to make sure
that we're we're doing everything in the
highest vibrational frequency of love
that's for me that's I've always tried
to like I don't tap into it at all if
I'm not like if I got stuff going on
trials and tribulations you'll know it
I'm not I'm not gonna talk about it I'm
not gonna do it I'm not gonna book
sessions like I have to make sure that
I'm a clear and open channel for the
divine the flow in even though it's not
a contingent upon what I do anyway right
it's the grace of God has you know that
doesn't you know stop it - from flowing
- to me or or through me but as far as
like a responsibility of walking in
light and integrity you know absolutely
and you know - like we've been talking
about tools or tools they are not to be
worshipped and when people get too
invested in the tool that they're not
actually focused anymore on Christ that
that's that's a problem that's inviting
energy and that you don't want because
you're becoming you're making something
an idol and so any if any tool or way of
being or ego or being a status or
anything like that becomes an eye at all
then we're violating the basic tenets of
our faith so you know we're like we saw
always be looking to God and yeah the
responsible energy practitioner
sometimes people ask me will you give me
Reiki you know I'm like you know what I
like I am NOT in a place where I can do
that right now so responsibly I'm gonna
tell you know later when I you know when
I feel more or when I've had some rest
or if I'm if I'm too weary then no it
wouldn't be responsible to me to do that
right now I'd be giving you I'd be
giving you low vibration Reiki I don't
want to do that right so it's always up
to us to be grounded really grounded in
our faith before we start to bring it
off into a ton of tools and I think our
reasons for thinking the tools also have
to be really pure they have to be with a
really high intention that we're serving
ourselves and we're serving others a
tool a tool for a tool sake you know I
can get my dog a hammer he won't know
what to do with it what's the point
there's no point you know a tool and
service door itself than to others it's
a really good thing ya know this I mean
that's what a lot of people first thing
they jump to is like why do you need
that you're going outside of
of God or you went outside of Jesus to
to get an answer or whatever but not
knowing is that like Christ speaks
through that stuff you know what I'm
saying these tools meditation like all
of these things are we have we have so
much at our disposal for me again
looking at like the example of just the
scriptures that some of the most
spiritual people you know you've ever
read about or in in the scriptures old
and new testaments some of the most
mind-blowing examples of leaving their
bodies and communicating with angels and
receiving dreams and visions that change
the course of their life and you know
all of these kind of crazy things by
location and telekinesis and telepathy
and communicating with spirits that are
speaking through the clouds and all
types of crazy stuff going on in there
and so for people to try to look outside
of the scriptures or something like that
just look in there you just gotta read
between the lines take take off that
that lens that we've been given and told
how to interpret the scripture but
there's we're still finding stuff in
there now you know years removed new
revelation of what the scriptures really
meant to an ancient people you know
we're finally getting that revelation
now yeah and scripture is a living thing
it's not in the past so we have the
logos which is like the written word the
word the kind of the logic word we see
that first on that like Jesus you know
the Word was God but we also have the
Rhema which is the scripture of the
spoken scripture this scripture that
cannot be contained in a written form
and that is the scripture that lives
inside of us and one of the basic things
that Paul does but I love is that we are
in Christ
like literally Christ is in us literally
we are in Christ that is not something
that can be contained on paper into
scripture to me should point us towards
on not define God God is a lot bigger
than scripture the scripture is
important you know I've been I've been a
lot of years of my life studying it I
love I love studying scripture but it
does not contain the totality of God how
can it goddess was the fourth or third
God is after
all right scripture actually lives
inside of us and when we can engage
Scripture in that way
that's when it becomes it alive that's
when it stops being a tool of fear and
becomes a tool is great also seems with
stuff on your page about the Apocrypha
and some books about the Apocrypha what
do you where do you stand when it comes
to the Apocrypha and there's any other
any books that are near and dear to your
heart that were taken out of the
Scriptures or held near and dear by the
early early church yes are they actually
in the Bible if you're Catholic or if
your thoughts so for those produced
Christians those are actually part of
Scripture and for those of us who aren't
the kind of the extra book so there's
there's a really thick Bible when you
get it take my Bible with you
microphones in my car actually right now
for some reason but let me grab from my
from myself here we have a ton of we
have a ton of book that didn't quite
make it into the Bible for one reason or
another I have these volumes of them so
one of the things I really love to
demystify is the fact that like they're
hidden or they're secret they're not
y'all you can find you you can read the
forbidden books of the Bible but they're
accessible to anyone right you can you
can buy these in risa no big deal I
think one of the ones that doesn't make
it into the Bible that's the second
century book is Paul and Thecla
but so it's the acts of Pecola so we
have the Acts of the Apostles that is in
the Bible and then we have all these
other X so the acts of the early
apostles and what I love is the acts of
Paul and Thecla you can totally google
it read it online free their
translations now but sefa is a woman who
is converted and she becomes a Christian
and she kind of follows Paul around and
she has all these miraculous acts she
baptizes herself and a fool like there's
be seals and they're going to kill her
and she instead baptizes herself in the
water and the seals ignore her so we
have this kind of like miraculous
happenings and she forces her fiance she
doesn't want to get married she wants to
be a virgin and she's really claiming
her own autonomy so I think that's
probably the most fun but it's not in
Scripture that I really love I think
it's highly metaphysical
and also talks a lot about women in the
ancient world and what they were doing
how they were empowered through Christ
create their own destiny to live there
alive another one that's in the
Apocrypha that I love is the book of
Tobit and so the book of Tobit is were
introduced to the Archangel Raphael and
this is just written a little bit
probably before Jesus lives and we see a
lot about angels we see a lot about folk
healing there's a lot of herbalism in
the book of Tobit there's a lot of kind
of like potions that are made that are
applied to Tobit he goes blind and he's
recited restores or some of these some
of these herbal remedies so this is
telling me the early Christians and Jews
were doing a lot of really really cool
things and we don't always have access
to that you know without the specialized
training but I don't think it should be
specialized I think it should be
available to everyone but part of what I
love helping people do you do you think
that there are any books that were
created around that time maybe even some
a little bit more newer that were
created to throw believers off to really
denounce laughs at or change the
doctrines maybe the Gnostic any of the
Gnostic texts for example do you feel
like any of that stuff is kind of like
made out of like like you're reading it
in it feels like it's trying too hard to
be one of the inspired books like you
can I feel like I can feel them when you
read them like you want it to be real
but you're like nah this ain't it it's
kind of more of a philosophy than than
anything else and so there were a lot of
ancient people who were not fixed
Christians Jews also other religions but
most of the writings we have from
Gnostics now happen to be Christians and
they happen to be Christians who lives
in the desert because the desert was dry
and for their shared documents so
Gnostic love to talk about knowledge
like secret knowledge and they had a lot
of rituals that were owned you had to be
initiated
to kind of early Gnosticism so we have
some Gnostic texts that are pretty
available well different Gospels things
like that but we have a lot of Gnostic
texts that make absolutely no sense
because they are written in a ritual
language that we no longer have access
to so literally when you're reading some
Gnostic texts yes I have it right here
when you're reading some Gnostic texts
you'll encounter all of this babble
words before like pages that will make
zero sense because they're ritualize so
for me it's representing an early reign
of Christianity that ultimately didn't
really win the day but that we have we
can see some influences so within the
Christian tradition so the Christian the
book in the Bible that reflects an early
early early version of Gnosticism is the
gospel of dawn very different than the
other three Gospels and Jesus is very
concerned with knowledge he's very
concerned with knowledge comes from
heaven and is given to people so I'm
gonna know I'm gonna answer your
question by not answer your question
directly and say that I think the
Gnostics are really important and what
you ask is actually different than what
I'm usually asked what I'm usually apt
is like why aren't these in the Bible we
should be reading these they should be
the ultimate truth and I'm always like
but the nonsense like it's a lot of
stuff you don't even understand like I
don't even understand what most of the
per se so some of it's a little bit far
out there for me but they represent this
early important part of Christianity so
like back to your original question do I
kind of insinuated when I say when I
made that course simple go ahead books
are they are they representative of an
absolute truth no I don't think any I
don't think anything is do some of them
kind of goes too far for me yeah some of
them do some of them have an idea that
Jesus wasn't in a body some Gnostics
believed that Jesus had no body that
Jesus was only a spirit who came and
pretended to be a body but no as a as a
Christian today I believe that our
bodies are incredibly important like
Jesus came to be incarnated Jesus
understands what is to be human I think
that's really important so in that's it
text
claims Jesus wasn't human at all I can't
really get mine as an ultimate truth but
is it tell me something else about
spirit that may be important good to be
so I think everything with I know I'll
draw some absolute so everybody's a
little bit about it yeah I'm kind of
with you there like there's I'll say
like for some of the stuff for me I want
it to be true like I want to be I want a
lot of it to be true but I don't think
that it is but there is some beautiful
stuff in there that we can glean from
you know looking at like Thomas or
whatever just even the whole passage
about you know if the kingdom of heaven
is in the air then the birds proceed you
if the kingdom of heaven is in the water
then the fish precedes you but the
kingdom of heaven is in you and all
around you and that kind of I have some
beautiful poetry and things in there
about God and the kingdom of heaven so
but I don't know if they like they're
inspired I don't know if they're I don't
know I say it this way I don't know if
Thomas really wrote that book I'm SS wag
not exactly yeah and so we see this a
lot in early Christianity where a book
is attributed to an early disciple but
was not written by them and this is true
this is just true of the ancient world
this is how the ancient world named not
exclusive to Christianity the ancient
world named books by giving them the
name of someone who was really important
from the past in order to give it a
little more a little more
you know the people would read it today
we called it plagiarism but in the
ancient world it was really really
common to do this it was not it was
actually not it was seen as a tribute to
that character the business between
homage to Thomas by calling the Gospel
of Thomas oh no no good like yeah it's
just like a lot of the Paul's of letters
that cling to be and brynn been written
by Paul were not written by Paul they
are attributed to Paul and they're in
its Pali style interesting yeah okay
yeah it's okay
couple more books is kind of going in
and out of some of these ideas but one
of these I've had people write me in and
again it's a book that I would I would
love to be true I would love for it to
be divine revelation but just reading it
yeah it's kind of reaching trying to
like an alternative to Christianity and
maybe hold on to Christianity embrace a
little
Gnosticism that's just my pretense with
these books but uh do you ranch a book
you looked into I am no come on now
you're the scholar man you don't know
the you ranch a book like a universal
book I guess it's the origins is around
1955 anyway but well there's a lot of
stuff in it about Melchizedek in Jesus
and and those kind of things but a lot
of New Age communities or people who
kind of teeter-totter with Christianity
but don't want to kind of be into
religion will kind of embrace this book
I've had a couple people reach out and
try to like get me to to vouch for it
and I'm like I just don't feel like it's
inspired man I'm sorry like it was a
book that when you read it there was so
many like adjectives and like describing
words of like any time that they would
never say a sentence it would like keep
describing it like if it would say God
they would be it would say something
like the you know unnameable divine
source of light where all creation flows
from the wells of spring and the
protector of souls the one who is and it
was just like everything it would say
the point and then every sentence was
like this crazy describing its way to
the point with all of these extra words
as I hold on I think you're kind of
reaching too hard anyway so that you
haven't been to check it out I mean this
night it's a big just many bells you
said that and I actually did research it
like I just had to free jog my memory
yeah I actually did do a little research
on it and like four or five months ago
so I can I can speak from my self a four
or five months ago but yeah I think any
any of those things there's a ton of
those things out there right some are
more influential than others
but you know for me you know as a
Christian we always have to look to our
own internal truth but if we're trying
to make it fit as a literal truth it
never will I mean like most things well
so I you know I don't
that is literal truth I don't see it as
sort of a not as a source of authority
for me personally and I wouldn't see any
any any recent book that's channels like
that to be a source of authority for me
you know scripture has much more
authority than that but alright be truth
in it maybe you know and it's important
for you that's fine you know what
something I always tell people too is
you know if you have a novel that you've
read and it's really important to you
but it can it can inform you it doesn't
have to be the ultimate truth for
everyone yeah I am yeah and like that I
was in here gaming a couple years ago
and uh and some in a weird random
vehicle pulled up in the yard and I was
like I gotta go see what is it I don't
know who this person is so I went out
there and I had my shirt off and uh so
I've got all kind of esoteric tattoos
and I wanna could do see us and
symbology and all kind of stuff so I'll
go out there and this is older black man
he's like hey I want to tell you about
the message of Jehovah it was a
Jehovah's Witness so I'm like my game is
still going on so online I'm trying to
her holding me out in conversations
asking me about all my tattoos and
asking me about the caduceus and I know
he's a religious man so I'm trying to
give him the biblical interpretation and
Moses held up the staff and it what had
the serpent on it and and it represented
healing and so that's kind of what the
caduceus represents and and he's like
why has it got wings on it why the
caduceus got wings see that's that staff
didn't have he's like trying to get in
this debate and I'm like sir I need to
go and yeah and on my chest I have the
book of Sirach tattooed out of the
Apocrypha which says strive for the
truth unto death and the Lord shall
fight for thee he's like I know what
that scripture is to I said oh you do he
said yet I was taken out for a reason
God took that out in a book out for a
reason it wasn't inspired I was like I'm
not finished here trying to have this
conversation with you about why these
books were taken out of the Bible even I
would love to I'm just kind of busy but
he was just trying to like find these
little ways to get me and even though I
would like agree with them and stuff he
just he wanted to convert me and you
know he wanted and he didn't well he
didn't want to agree he didn't want to
find a middle ground which was really
interesting but uh
but yeah talking about the Apocrypha and
symbolism and stuff like that I remember
that guy doing that one of my favorite
pseudo biblical books books that were
taken out whatever you want to call them
is the recognitions of Clement are you
familiar with that one Kamali's
recognitions of class yeah talk about
him and Barnabas I think it was he a
disciple of Barnabas was it oh yes 2nd
century knowledge I don't recall it's
one of my favorite ones because there's
a lot of spirituality in there there's a
lot of demon talk as far as like
different ways that demons get access to
the body through the excess of me and
all you know belly always being full and
some of those kind of things but that's
a really a really good one to me I
really like that whenever you looked
into it at all yes in my you know what I
was writing my dissertation I looked at
the my dissertation was not on this
topic at all is actually on enslavement
and they in the early church but I was
so I consulted the early church fathers
so these kind of second third century
writings late first century second and
third century and see what they had to
say and so it's so interesting though
the thing about food like food and wine
they got really really concerned with
that and I don't think they were always
on the mark with their interpretations
yeah I'm I like to eat meat and drink
wine sometimes but the what they are
pointing to is that Christians had been
thinking for a really long time about
like what do we do to our bodies that
affects our spirit and so like that you
know that kind of conversation that's
been going on for such a long time I
think it's really really valuable and so
yeah the early church fathers I know
just enough to be dangerous but like I
haven't read them all as in depth as I
as I should mostly looking at you know
very particular verses here and there
but the I think they're worth reading
like they kind of give us a little
window into what we're Christians
thinking about what were they talking
about what were they debating about
they're debating with each other - they
don't always
oh just like we do today it's a nice
lesson but they're you know they're
having healthy dialogues healthy debate
in the in the ancient world but I think
it's really neat yeah yeah there's some
very interesting stuff in there and uh
some of its near and dear to my heart
and just the fact that uh we can't get
our hands on a bunch of it Enoch is the
big one that a lot of people kind of
opened the door to and I did a video of
a lot of them that are mentioned in the
Bible like they're quoted in the Bible
and a lot of them that we don't even
know we just kind of skip over I'm like
hey who was Shania the Prophet and why
are you quoting his book where is that
book he do the Prophet you know and all
these different and weird names just
like we don't know much about these
people but I wish we had their book so
we could read it you know yeah the
little letter of Jude in the New
Testament quotes first Enoch and so we
know the early Christians were reading
first Enoch they were being informed
about it and it tells us a lot about
what early Christians early Jews were
thinking about angels like what they
thought about the story the Book of
Enoch recounts the whole story of like
angels falling from heaven nowhere in
our canonical scripture but the story is
captured in first Enoch yeah first thing
that comes up a ton and it's also one of
those books it said it's written by
Enoch but it's not it's much later than
that it was probably written like first
or second century before Jesus yeah and
tells us all this wonderful mythology
yeah I like Enoch I read read it I've
had to read it several times for
different reasons there yes originally
written in easy-off it super interesting
on a couple of level yes essentially you
say that you know Enoch did write it and
then like you Apollo didn't write some
of the letters that are tributed to him
and there's a lot of that going on in
the body you know of like you know we
just think that that they wrote it or
whatever and it would it would seem you
know insane to think that these these
people wrote it but um but I mean the
okay with that being said where do you
stand on allegory in the Bible Old
Testament being allegory being a hidden
story that is not about King David it's
not about Solomon it's not about Adam
and Eve but it's about
you and it's telling your story your
spiritual progress your journey through
the that the soul makes through the
human existence and dealing with idols
and idolatry and shame and guilt and
overcoming and it's really telling your
story that's hidden within the pages of
these characters I've never heard it
quite destructive like that although
it's super intriguing like I think it's
worthwhile to take that on so I'm a big
fan of with Scripture we can interpret
it multivalent Lee all the time so
there's never one interpretation I get a
lot of questions so come into my group
what does this first mean I'm like well
that's not answerable we can ask what
many things does it mean yeah so I
encourage people to read with a couple
of different lenses so this is almost
like you put on one pair of glasses you
read it let it sink in then you take
them off you put on another pair of
glasses and you read it and you let it
sink in so I think you know with
something like the sort of Kings like
what you just described like with King
David I think you David and Solomon are
historical people I think we can say
that not beyond a shadow of a doubt but
with a lot of integrity we can say that
they are historical people did their
story happen exactly as is recounted in
first and second Samuel and first and
second that's the story crafted to tell
something very particular about the
first rulers of the nation-state of
Israel can we read David as an allegory
for our own life where we sometimes
listen to God sometimes we don't
sometimes we make huge mistakes we have
affairs we have a conflict with our kids
and then we come the dangers as I think
the story of 1st and 2nd Samuel
allegorically tells us a lot about the
dangers of rulership God says
consistently the people asked for a king
and he says don't ask for a king if you
have if you get a king do you know
what's going to happen and the king will
enslave your children the king will tax
you the king will do all these things
and you will be more unhappy than you
were before you got a king and then they
get Saul and then they get David and
then they got Donald Trump
Oh all things all presidents all
everyone has the power to be corrupted
yeah I think it's a beautiful allegory
for the human state of being ruled what
does it mean to be ruled and what it
angel rulers felt like when does David
come into his most most authentic self
yeah so as though allegorically I think
we can read scripture that way and
receive a lot of benefit from it and
then it's fun to take off those glasses
and put on that glasses like what what
does a woman centered reading say about
David well he kind of doesn't come off
really great there you know he could
have done a little bit better yeah so
part of the beauty to me at Scripture is
people a lot and the Bible doesn't have
hide it the Bible plate this is what
it's like to screw up let's see what we
can do to get it right what about the
the school of thought we've been told in
church that the Bible is perfect in any
misunderstanding that you have is not
the Bible it's you and your
interpretation of it word of God yeah
yeah Michael can't be an arrant in my
mind because it doesn't agree with
itself a lot of the time doesn't stop
yeah talks about the lying pen of the
scribes I think it's a really helpful
for us to understand that like every and
every person who writes who wrote down
scripture had a little bit of an agenda
just like I do when I channel I can't
ever get myself out of the way you know
no biblical author can get themselves
out of the way and that's to me as a
Christian that's beautiful that is
beautiful because I see that we're all
incarnate we all have flaws we all have
these tools that are available to us and
I'm not bound by any kind of inerrancy
and to me it's much more interesting to
ask what are the many layers of
Scripture that are there that I can tap
into and I can do that as you know what
I call a metaphysical Christian using
all these tools to get this energetic
kind of reading this energetic signature
from Scripture
and that's a much more fun way to engage
with Scripture than asking you know this
in the air at but I'm kind of curious
you know people are or do you work a lot
of people have conflict around this it
can be a real torque of energetic dock
yeah yeah I mean did the religious
community is like it's either All or
Nothing if it's if it's flawed then it's
all flawed it's kind of what they so
there's just blind faith that we kind of
all kind of accept it just through out
you know Church and through dialogue and
debating because it can't have any holes
in it and things like that so I don't
really find much of it now again as I go
back to the allegory I mean it works if
you work it you know what I'm saying
like if you apply principles to in these
stories to your life and you'll see that
it's true you know every bit of it's
true like all of the that if you
understand the parables and in the
meanings behind the dark sayings and
stuff like that within the scripture I
think it's the most magical book that
ever existed you know it and it has the
ability like you said the Living Word of
God just like when we read it it's gonna
minister to us where we are you know at
that time in our life and those people
and circumstances are gonna kind of
shift and God's gonna illuminate the
word to you through the Holy Spirit like
it says in Corinthians that it will
begin to make sense to you where you are
and in 10 years from now you're reading
it's gonna mean something else to you
and ten years ago you read it and it
meant something totally different as
well you know and so you're just kind of
in this relationship with the divine
creator that uses all things and so
again with the Bible that God speaks
through the Bible God speaks through it
all you know I'm convinced that if God
if we were on a deserted island and we
had the cat and a half I think that God
would use that in and and and you know
say illuminate that and show us who he
is through those texts and stuff as well
and I don't think that's diminishing the
Bible I just really see that that you
can see God moving through through all
things and those who have learned to if
you can't see God in all then you can't
see God at all at all and so you know he
is speaking through it but he's speaking
through everything you know
relationships and movies and then you
see those stories even echoed in movies
and the Lord of the Rings and Harry
Potter and the here
journey and this is this tale of the
person who starts out and they doubt
themselves and then they find out who
they are but then they fall off the
wagon or die but then they come back
even stronger as Gandalf - from Gandalf
the Grey de Gandalf the White and he
represents truth and in nobility and
dignity and he ignites people to follow
him on this journey you know and it's
all of these things that are very
similar you know the zodiac even we can
get into astrology and how those stories
are even written in the stars and and
we're going through that with our cycles
making our way through the zodiac and
all the hero's journey so it doesn't
diminish it of being any any less real
or any less powerful or whatever the
case is again it works if you work it
because you have all these people who
are like scrutinizing it or even going
back to some of the Mayan traditions or
going back to Sumer you know Sumerian
tablets in the book of Enki and Enlil
and yahweh is really in lille and so you
want to get back to the original those
kind of things and uh but it's like it
works if you work it like have you
looked into the Sumerian tablets and
looked into that those kind of texts at
all nice stuff yeah I love yeah you know
with like Scripture we see influence for
instance from the Sumerian tale of the
flood the Cottontail of the flood and
then Noah is the story of Noah in the
Bible and they're all coming from a kind
of similar cultural soup but then each
one is really distinct as well I love
the way you phrase it like it works if
you work it yeah and I totally agree and
the way I kind of describe scripture
especially for people who are really
interested in inner thanks and you
we want our faith to not be a house of
cards so it is Scripture being in error
that as soon as you blow on the house of
cards it's going to knock it down good
faith on rock nuts and so like that's
what we have to do so for me understand
the scripture as
many pop stronger bed of rock for us to
understand it and the other I think the
other important thing he is that I am
part of Scripture what Kirk hears only
scripture because we keep on reading it
because we keep on like with dynamic
relationships that kind of engages
Scripture at this level
and scripture tells a story and it tells
the story of God's people tell the story
got people who run away God calls them
back and then they run away and God
calls them back and then they run away
game it again and kind of calls them
back and we're we're part of that story
and you know we were talking about
during virtue earlier you know or like
people that kind of deny the power of
energy deny the power the Holy Spirit in
some way in some senses they're running
to God in their own way but they're also
running away from all the beautiful
spiritual gifts that are given to them
and you know we do the same things in
our lives and we're I love to capture
people and their story with Scripture
and their story with energy it says
they're running back
they're running back to God God is
calling them back in and they're
listening they're finally listening to
God calling them back into this new way
free like I feel like we just vibrated
like we we level up we get to vibrate up
every time we do this every time we come
back to God when God called us this is
you know Christians we're used to this
it's a part of our daily journey every
day I have the opportunity to run from
God a lot of days I do feel like doing
the work that day and I'll feel like
working those working you know I feel
like doing something else and I do that
and then God is like right but I called
you to do this I'm like oh right and so
in that way I'm part of the scripture
story I never I never depart me I to me
it lives inside all of us and I you know
when we can approach it from this
healthy way not being errant but of
being a living story and that living
story has its ups and it's downs and the
good thing is the conclusion isn't
written yet we're sober right either
well part of it right in the middle
we're right in the middle of the of the
of the resolution of the story it's a
number the more you study and the more
you break it down and the possibilities
and
cuz you know we kind of in religion we
like to have it all figured out and this
is the beginning this is the middle of
this at the end and this is where we are
and that kind of thing but then like
there's just so much that you can get
into if you know what it really means
and the unveiling and the Apocrypha and
the apocalypse and the covering and you
know the different levels of it and what
it really means it's so beautiful to you
know to really just study and dive into
it and again it's a living word you know
we see ourselves in it it's like reading
it's like looking in the mirror and
we're reading and it's you know reading
about us and this intimate you know I
once I was on a podcast one day and I
told the guest the guest called in and
we're talking about the Bible and they
they weren't believers but I was like
the I told him the Bible's a love story
you know it's a it's a it's a love story
of God it's in in love with his people
like you said they run away come back
and love-hate relationship with the
spouse but for some people they read it
in this a horror story you know it's a
little bit of all of it wherever you are
and however you interpret it with that
lens like it becomes that for you you
know God is big enough to handle that
alright so if those people read it at
all they can see is the horror God is
certainly big enough to handle that and
God is not requiring them to be anything
different others than be in that state
so that guys can offer them compassion
and love and abundance
you know when they when they are there
and I certainly think God is big enough
to handle our doubts our fears like all
of that and I'm part of our energy like
energetic signatures that's why we
that's why we do this work with all
these tools well this spirituality it's
awesome again it's biblical
we're reclaiming it and those again I
think something those are some of the
most spiritual people that ever existed
and uh but I think that wouldn't want to
understand how they how they tapped into
it we got to look to the east we got to
look to we got to be open to at least
you know the conversation of Hinduism or
Buddhism or you know the Native American
tribes and stuff and see how they
existed cuz they they I think they're
all holding a piece too
of what was even practiced in the Bible
we can look and see I mean just looking
at Jesus going into a mountain to
meditate he would go into a cave he
would pray for hours on end or he would
go on top of a mountain like who does
that do Christians do that or do Hindus
do that do they literally go inside of
KFOR to meditate for hours or pray or go
on top of the highest Himalayan mountain
to talk to God that's what like they do
that like just little little things man
communing with the ancestors and stuff
like that and looking at the Bible and
it's it's so it's so interesting man you
know we just reclaiming our faith you
know
yeah and Jesus came from the tradition
very much look to their ancestors I mean
Jewish people in the ancient world their
ancestors were a lie for them in a sense
and so the scripture doesn't record
method very often it doesn't it'll say
that people prayed it doesn't really
think how yeah great it doesn't tell you
their interest was so we have to look
beyond the words of Scripture in order
to understand that and create it
ourselves we also see that Jesus
constantly revolutionized his own
tradition and he would say this is how
it used to be interpreted it how are you
sorry my words failed me there this is
how we used to interpret it and then it
was interpreted this way and now I'm
inviting you to interpret it through the
lens of my life of my ministry so we see
that Jesus is always saying you know
yeah the 10 commandments say don't
commit adultery he never says that
that's wrong I keep like but even if you
do this this is damaging your
relationship and you need to stop it so
he is constantly negotiating with
Scripture and I think we're invited to
do the same thing why wouldn't we be
like where God gave us you know
intuition and into life put it all
together and that's when that to me
that's when the magic really begins to
happen is when we can do that as part of
our faith not as a test yeah I'm with

yeah I was listening to a podcast or an
interview two days ago with Kevin gates
little Kevin gates and his latest
interview he's talking about this
revelation and he kind of slips it up
like he didn't know if he wanted to
share it and we've heard a lot of weird
spur
stuff from Kevin gates in the past and
about manifestation and about stuff like
that and uh but he mentioned having this
encounter he didn't say how he didn't
say where but him and his wife both had
the same encounter where his grandmother
appeared to them he didn't say if it was
in Peru and ayahuasca he didn't say if
it was in the dream state but he said
that she came to both of them and they
physically saw her so that's and he said
it he kind of slipped it but he went
ahead and committed to it he's like man
I can't believe I said this but yeah
he's kind of gave the story of his
grandmother coming to him and kind of
checking him like son what are you doing
what are you doing get you get yourself
together and made him become more
conscious made him become more spiritual
take care of his diet change his lyrics
up a lot of these kind of things I kind
of do that inventory from the spiritual
encounter that he had with his
grandmother who had passed away for some
some years and so I just and it's a lot
of this stuff becoming more mainstream
shout out to shout out to Bill Beane
he's a good friend of mine y'all know
him he's the Exorcist I love Bill bean
if you had we've had some amazing
conversations listening to him on coast
to coast years ago when I again when I'm
looking for Christians talking about
this stuff I'm listening to coast to
coast all these New Agers all these
peoples all my ghosts all these people
talking about the afterlife afterlife
and then bill beans on there talking
about the exorcisms and casting out
demons and ghosts but he's talking about
finding grace and peace through the
person of Jesus Christ on coast-to-coast
eight million people listening every
night he's on there talking about this
faith that he has in Christ I'm gonna
try to find this link that he shared and
I thought it was interesting and I know
he meant it for something of harm maybe
or something like that or really to kind
of show so in any way that I'm gonna
show a little bit of this video I don't
know who this woman is Julianne haha Hou

in his quote he says let me see if I

I don't even know what so maybe nope

of the demonic strongholds that are on
Hollywood and it's stars and so he's
saying that this is demonic I actually
clicked the video watched it the other
day and I was like oh this is a demonic
this is actually pretty cool I think
being that a lot more people are being
open about spirituality about energy
healing
I mean it's becoming popular even Kevin
gates was talking about wanting to go
into prison to teach the inmates
breathwork
you know so I was like come on so Kevin
gates talking about this a lot of
Hollywood celebrities are talking about
this and that's just I don't want to get
pulled from playing this well let's just
hit what we can show for those of you
listening on the podcast thing there's
this teacher spiritual teacher who's got
this actress and she's laying down for
some reason it's muted I don't know what
what's up with the audio it won't play
at all hmm audio was not playing she's
laying down he pulled her out the crowd
she's laying down on this table and he's
doing like energy work or something
freedom God confusing busy confusing
bizarre and just plain weird yeah the
Internet
he's like moving his hands over her body
said breathe in breathe out and he's
moving his hands and it's like he's
pulling cords out of her or bad energy
or something like that and so bill bean
shared this and said it was demonic some
sort of a physical therapy treatment
Julianne reposted the video female
quotient expression of emotion before we
review the tape again let's break this
all down the 31-year thing else and if
we're really free to express an
incredible dancer actress just human me
and she has practiced just a lot of
people through but even with that even
42 seconds into the video you know that
negative stagnant energy out of her I
don't think that's demonic I think
that's the opposite the doc isn't
touching her Julianne is still
convulsing and making noises most people
in this especially in Davos in this
environment
when it made that sound so you know what
they would have physical pain attention
building up in the
so we've just made it easier where that
energy liberated julienne has been
really leaning into health and wellness
in recent months she launched her very

Julian's focus on self breath work I
mean this stuff has become a more
mainstream and I'm glad it's good we
need it we need it taking care of your
house taking care of your mind your body
and spirit as one realigning your
chakras man talking about natural health
talking about energy healing man it's
beautiful I don't know if I mean I've
done a lot of similar stuff to like that
lady did without anyone touching me
maybe somebody was touching me maybe it
was the Holy Ghost for real like I've
had those euphoric times of crying and
feeling a release and grounding and just
through prayer and feeling energy moved
throughout your body and it's so
beautiful it's so beautiful I'm glad
that Hollywood's talking about it and we
look at this so just because it's not
so-called Christian that it's uh it's
demonic or something like bill being
said or something like what's her name
you know Steven bang Carson Doreen
Virtue because they look at Bethel and
and look they in so they're doing
similar stuff like that they're moving
energy unclean spirits ur are moving us
stagnant energy is being released and
clearing the chakras as you guys are
saying in the chat all of this stuff is
happening and people are finding release
through it and it's euphoric it feels
good sometimes it is painful you got
areas in your life that's been stagnant
for years and all of a sudden there's
energy that's released to it the
pranayama the holy spirit moves through
your body fills you up for the first
time since healing to you it's in
emotional there was a thing with like
you know ran with the Hebrew Israelites
I ran with um just all the five
percenters and those kind of people
really was a knowledge base of like
understanding the scriptures and they
would always
talk about people like Bethel or people
like me now saying we're too emotional
we're focused on emotions or TD jakes
drives people off of emotions and things
like that right and it's emotional when
you have your burdens lifted off of you
that you've been carrying your whole
life and you don't even know it because
you've gotten used to what it feels like
to carry these burdens and then in an
instant the burdens lifted and now you
feel lighter that's emotional you're
gonna cry
you might scream like this lady
screaming you might jump for joy we
might run around the church seven times
you've all kind of stuff that goes on
it's emotional I'm an emotional person
man I'm emotionally stable again I know
I talked about the fact that like I
can't watch what would you do without
crying and I'm not bragging on it right
this show what would you do whether it's
got like people we watched it the other
day cuz there was one I wanted to click
and my wife's heard me say that she's
like are you gonna cry right now and I'm
like trying to act like I'm not crying
like cuz I don't want to I don't want to
be weak but it's like we're sensitive
men we can feel what other people are
going through when people stand up
against injustice this man when people
stand up for righteousness and truth and
honor and dignity man come on it does
something it's emotional when people
choose to do the right thing it's
emotional man you know and and man
that's just where we are and it's good
it's okay to cry we need to cry when's
the last time you cried come on now
shoot Oh Stephen I mean it's on Stephen
uh Chris Barse he cried this weekend we
had our men's retreat if for those of
you who haven't heard what we talked
about on the men's retreat I know we did
about we did an hour last night it's on
YouTube right now but we did an hour
just going through the whole retreat I
had all the guys on here and we just
kind of went through it and what it what
we experienced it was a little bit
different and we just opened up and
talked about it to get some of the
hysteria get some of the fear out of the
way
that kind of stuff so we talked about it
I am gonna release it on the podcast too
just because it's out there and I know
it's a for a lot of times it's a
different audience the people who are
hanging out with me right now on social
media and YouTube and things like that
are different people who are listening
to the podcasting apps and I definitely
want to make that available but uh make
sure you listen to that because it was
it was very interesting and we worked
through a lot of stuff and it was a
beautiful experience and we need more of
it man

like grabbed something spiritually he
grabbed something spiritually and she
felt it something that was a test people
can see chords of attachments like once
you there's ways that you can train your
spiritual eyes to be able to see and
feel we talked about Reiki you know you
can feel that you can you can you know
that there's a blockage you can read
someone's energy and read that
everything's flowing except here and
then usually when we talk about the
chakra system and the things that are
going on in the body there's a blockage
you usually represent something in your
life it's not about just letting the
energy flow through your chakra it's
representing something in your life what
you're dealing with your heart your
heart center why why can't you cry
maybe crying will unblock that chakra
maybe returning to your innocence maybe
having an encounter where you experience
joy will unblock that chakra maybe
getting your sexual life in order will
unblock the root chakra in which you got
going on maybe if you stopped sleeping
around maybe if you stopped looking at
pornography I don't know
I'm saying maybe but I think so it's not
just who do it's not just spiritual far
out weird stuff it has practical
implications and all of this stuff has
to has to be able to deal with what
we're doing in our day to day it has
physical implications Chris says it was

think I remember I was like trying to
get oh dude he might have took a picture
of outside we're gonna take a picture of
your your single tear
um you know emotional man emotion we got
to show some emotional all these poised

cried tears of joy on last week's school
of the Mystics yeah last week school of
the Mystics was powerful man and I've
talked about that like we had in prayer
we had a good time in meditation we had
a good time of listening to worship
music and it was really good and that we
felt connected right but it wasn't till
the end I played a song I played that a
disillusioned by a perfect circle and
that song means a lot to me and moves me
every time but when I played that song I
cried like a baby
you know and it's good I like it I like
it it's good to cry and Adam you said
you cried on school you did I seen you
man it's beautiful
you know we need we need to cry we need
to let this stuff out connect again

angels demons cards like intuition all

validation for the afterlife that there
is something more to this life beyond
the five senses that we can encounter
here but it gives us hope for something
on the afterlife as well something on
the other side that we can engage with
and we can look forward to eternal life
that is given to us through Christ and
that's what we believe as Christians and

that was a good one that's a good one I
seen that went to about dealing with uh
like a a video becoming sober you know
what I cried you I know it was you know
all my my right-wing conservative
friends kind of blew up on it but when I
went off the first two times I watch the
new Eminem video darkness
crowd watching that you think you're
watching one video but then halfway to
there's a through there's a double
entendre man you're really the song is
about something else if you've not seen
that that video yet make sure you go
watch Eminem's
darkness video don't just listen to the
song you gotta watch the video but I
cried watching that just remembering
what it was like and it's beautiful and
begin to mix that in with art and how
art has that ability you know poetry
writing I mean the scriptures you know
so many other beautiful poetic things
that we read and we just man as we read
it we're crying and I mean I'm thinking
about you know Tooting my own horn here
but these meditations as I was creating
them today I was working on a meditation
today and I am biblical affirmation
meditation and I'm saying scriptures I'm
saying them over myself and I know they
have power when I speak them I know they
have power when I when I hear them and
it just creates a spiritual atmosphere
every time I've created these you know
meditations like oh I'm manis and
encounter to be able to write these
encounters to say them and mean them to
say them and know them to say them and
speak to my body to say them and speak
to the void to create life where there's
death you know to speak things into
existence it was just a beautiful
encounter to be able to recite the word
over myself with intention spiritual
encounter and I loved it the fact that I
can capture it him in a meditation I can
capture it and then let other people
encounter that as well you know there
was a time
