um it's been great to get to know you um
and i look forward to
just having a chat today yeah man uh
you we we've kind of built a
relationship working relationship and
i've helped you with some technical
stuff but
it's been fun building with you uh you
had me on your podcast
every day supernatural which was a great
talk i love
going on other people's shows and we
kind of got the build off of that and
we've talked off there for a good bit of
time as well so
um you know the whole thing where this
podcast kind of came from was having
those beautiful
discussions off air and talks with
people but like man
i wish we recorded that and even our off
our off air talk i was tempted to push
record you know so people can
sit in on the conversation man but but
here we are you have a lot to offer
you you're you've been in the ministry
for some years now you've been
around and with the big wigs in the
prophetic movement you've learned a lot
you've
gleaned away from a lot and those kind
of things operating in that and so
i want to pick your brain i want to hear
your story um
for those people who don't know who you
are this is their first time seeing you
just kind of give an overview
of who matt young is and what you bring
to the table
yeah it's one of those things that just
like you some people would know you
depending on if they knew your music
career or you know
your work in church or your work on this
podcast like
you're a producer you do all these
things so i think probably the main
things that people know before
originally was leadership that was kind
of my thing
um i i traveled the world a little bit
and uh and helped develop
leaders um i do a local we call it
ecclesia
it's just a group of people um
gathering to to basically grow together
um i do uh and i should say that
the uh i do missions work like what you
would think of in a traditional
uh mission kind of organization building
schools
um buying a van for a pastor in pakistan
you know those kind of things where
just trying to be led by the spirit to
um to do what god has
us to do and that's engage the
nations.org
and then you made the website
everydaysupernatural.org
which is the podcast that i just started
um
recently um i've also one of the things
that i've
i've done a lot of is like just what you
would call
like counseling life coaching emotional
healing
um and so the fun part is putting the
spiritual the emotional the physical
altogether because a lot of my
background was neurochemistry of the
brain
um and how does somebody heal because
that was the process
i had to go through in my 20s to start
the process of
why am i the way i am you know i didn't
have any kind of religious background
growing up
um we could just say my parents were
you know i don't even know what you
would call them but there was no
religious conversation
none of that kind of stuff uh we had
witches living next door at one point
um you know my my one of my best friends
growing up
um he i mean he's basically
you could have been my neighbor i mean
it's funny
funny is that i think that's a dig
that's a dig no no no like but
what i mean is like in middle school
like my best friend
if if you were in my neighborhood it
would have been you because
oftentimes you know the the people you
run with and grow up with
you know it's it's who you you know it's
who's in your neighborhood so
that's that's the fun thing i think
sometimes people think like oh this
person's so much different than me
and i think we're more the same um you
know all of us
and instead of the opposite where it's
like oh i can't really relate to that
person so
anyway so what i've been doing since
probably 2014
um i worked in a church a little bit um
as you said i was around some of the the
people that
sometimes we call them the famous
prophets or ministers or whatever
but really they're not famous it's a
very small section of christianity
um and it's a pretty loud one um and i
honor and respect them but it was a
great training ground for me
um and then kind of launched me into
what i'm doing now so taking all the old
stuff
um the leadership the emotional healing
and now like
you know seeing god move in in different
ways
and understanding who i am now looking
back and i think that's probably one of
the biggest keys for most people
is is having somebody who can help you
look back and and explain some of the
experiences you've had
um because for most of us that have had
spiritual experiences
sometimes you have you have no idea why
did i have that experience
and we try to make sense of it um but
now
you know thanks to people like you and
and many others
um these kind of things have become
mainstream
to where it's like i remember saying the
word miss someone called me a mystic
my actual my last pastor of my last
church called me an oracle in front of
everyone he said
this is matt the oracle and i was like
no no no no we don't
and he was being serious and i was like
no no we don't do titles
yeah but it's funny how just a word can
be so triggering to somebody
if i say i'm a psychic you know or
whatever like people are like
you know so that's kind of been my
background is like i love
words um it's funny to watch people get
triggered honestly
because it's like why don't you get to
know the person and i think
honestly that's one of the fantastic
things about you is
you actually get to know people so sorry
dude long intro but that's kind of
how i got to where i am yeah um i'm not
traveling the world anymore
um but we'll see we'll see what happens
uh
you know in the next few months with
with if things open up and all that kind
of
stuff but i'm doing a lot of stuff
online um
so it's good stuff for sure man awesome
awesome intro
um so what got you into
uh the supernatural what was your
doorway
into the prophetic first experiences
whether it be as a child bc stuff
or being around prophetic people getting
a word of knowledge from somebody
reading your mail like what was your
first introduction
that god operates in the supernatural
and we can
uh we can operate in that realm with
them
so from early you know from early on i
had
spiritual experiences there was things
showing up in my room
um and as a kid it's terrifying and you
know when you're a kid
most kids cry for the you know crowd for
their mom when something
something comes into your room um i was
actually
so scared that i was like crying for my
you know dad
just terrified with the covers over my
head and it was a constant
thing over and over again and there was
lots of experiences
where um the best way i could explain it
is i would see things with my eyes open
and it was actually funny if i closed my
eyes i would stop seeing
and that was just normal so i never
really
because i didn't grow up in any kind of
like
any kind of religious or spiritual kind
of stuff
um you know i didn't know to to tell
anybody or not tell anybody
and so it was just kind of a normal part
of life and unfortunately because
um experiencing lots of trauma as a kid
and all
you know all that kind of stuff i was
pretty angry
and so i'd always use it against people
and i didn't know
it was a spiritual ability like
intuition
or and this is the thing when i say
prophetic i mean discernment intuition i
mean
the whole kind of thing but sometimes
people would say you know as you're
growing up people are really quick and
say stuff to you
um i would just be able to snap back at
them
and say the most personal hurtful things
not realizing that it was a gift i had
that was being used
inappropriately and so like
basically for me it was i was probably
like 20 21 22 years old um
i was out on the olympic coast i went
rock climbing
and um i was always been a risk taker
kind of the person that you're like
dude what are you doing like don't do
that um
and as i was climbing uh this this um
probably about a hundred foot um cliff
without any gear um which is completely
idiotic
uh i just did it kind of compulsively
and i got about 50 feet up
and as i climbed up it was more like
lava rock where it was easy to grip and
climb up
and i got about halfway up and the rock
strata changed
and i was i was working at the time with
my co-worker was with me we were
actually supposed to be doing
a job and we had a little break well he
did he went in a different direction
and so i'm basically stuck 50 feet up in
the air
and it breaks off it breaks off
and then my foot breaks off so i'm face
first against this rock
and your mind you know for those of you
who've been in situations
where you know you think your life is
over your mind goes a million miles an
hour so i was like what can i do
um every possible scenario went through
my mind
and the last scenario that went through
my mind was
oh god if you get if god if you get me
off this rock i'll turn my life over you
now i had no idea who god was or who
jesus was or any of that kind of stuff
but it was like i said that
out loud god if you get me off this rock
i'll turn my life over to you
and instantaneously i went from 50 feet
up
all the way to 100 feet up and the way i
would have described it back then
it was the most amazing high that i've
ever felt in my entire life
and by this time i was i was stuck there
long enough that the sun had started to
go down it was almost pitch black
and if you've ever been out to forks
washington on the olympic coast it's
beautiful
but there's lots of trees and there was
no trail
i ran through basically the woods and i
was pretty athletic back then
but it was like this holy spirit high
that back then i would have just said it
was the best high that i've ever had in
my entire life i ran through the woods
and i got back to where my co-worker was
he was just about to leave to call the
police because
he couldn't you know he didn't know
where i was and i couldn't speak i
couldn't unders i couldn't understand
what had just happened
um and it wasn't until many years later
that i even knew what trans relocation
was
or the the ability that god gives and i
don't i still don't know
did the angels do it was it is it a
supernatural ability
uh and it's happened time since but that
was kind of like the
big springboard into you know maybe a
cup it was like a couple years later
there was a class being offered at a
church and my brother was like dude you
should take this it'll help you
um and that was my introduction into
church because
i was kind of like what are these church
folks all about um
it wasn't really my thing and then
that's kind of where
led me you know just experience after
experience
um and understanding who um who god was
to me
and who jesus christ was and i was the
guy in church every week
when they'd be like are you a sinner you
know turn your life from jesus i'd be
raising my hand getting saved every week
because i didn't understand
you know all that kind of stuff yeah and
um you know
and that's the beauty of looking back is
everything starts to make sense now
um but back then that was kind of my
introduction to
like the prophetic or what people would
call intuition or
discernment and in the church most of
the i was part of
mainline evangelical churches so there
wasn't the prophetic movement
um there wasn't any of that kind of
stuff you didn't hear
the only time you heard about spiritual
experiences
is if a missionary came into town yeah
um because people were afraid to talk
about those things
and of course that's what everyone
wanted to hear at church it's like let's
hear the
like let's hear the goods dude like
that's what i want to
you know and then i was sitting there
like can i tell anybody this stuff
um why do i know things about people um
and honestly because i still needed
healing
i would be so overwhelmed with spiritual
information i honestly just wanted to be
depressed
stay at home and put the covers over my
head because there was no you know i
didn't know to ask for help i didn't
know why these things were happening
um and i could go into lots of details
but that's the general overview of
um now my life makes sense
um but it definitely didn't in those
early days and it's kind of like the
volume
was turned fully up you know to the
point where your ears are bleeding
yeah um as far as spiritual like
experiences and then i learned over time
to actually turn it down to where it's
like i don't need to go into costco
and be so overwhelmed feeling everyone's
ex
stop and knowing stuff about them i
don't want to know like that's
like that's the big part where um i've
learned to kind of turn the dial down
and you know and that's been an
interesting journey in itself
that's awesome um now we definitely have
that in common that our
introduction to to jesus was through the
prophetic um we're not alone in that
um many people would think that we are
but we look at
the woman at the well who her
introduction
to jesus was because of his prophetic
ministry or his prophetic abilities
being able to see in the spirit and know
things about individuals that nobody
else knows
unless they were directly imparted or
downloaded from the holy spirit from god
and so a huge part of jesus's ministry
was about a word of knowledge or a
supernatural ability to heal someone
uh seeing into the angelic realms and
all of these things that were very much
a part of his life
and so uh the beautiful thing about it
is we're
in good company uh when it comes to uh
meeting christ and having that
supernatural
uh uh understanding of this is our
introduction and that you know i've told
you my story my
you know i was told that there was going
to be a prophet at a bible study
that i was invited to and i didn't want
to come to a bible study
but this particular one they said listen
there's going to be a prophet there
i said well what's a prophet and uh my
friend told me a prophet is kind of like
a christian
psychic and so for me being into the
supernatural and having
demonic encounters and weird
infatuations with ufos and things like
that
i was into that kind of stuff so i was
like why not that this sounds awesome
never heard about it
and like you said you you show up and uh
and god encounters you in that way with
the supernatural but that's the
the introduction so i find it so awesome
that
you know that that you learn to grow in
that
and to cultivate that and and it's a
part of jesus
part of his ministry and a part of who
he is and i've heard that for those
christians or or ministries who don't
believe in the prophetic or
deny it that they are denying a part of
jesus
as well yeah absolutely
so um like what what are some of the
other uh encounters how do you begin to
grow in that again you you mentioned
being able to turn it
turn the knob off and on or down some i
know a lot of people
especially you know the word um empath
is really big right now
people just go into a walmart costco
like you said and they're just
bombarded by energies by thoughts by
people staring at them and you can read
their thoughts
it is very uh i use the word
intimidating and people
i guess who walk in their authority they
don't get intimidated i could be the
first to tell you that
trying to have a conversation with
someone and reading their mind at the
same time
can be intimidating especially if it's a
territorial spirit
that doesn't like you or doesn't like
the light that is within you
it can be very intimidating unless
you're ready to engage
in spiritual warfare and cast out demons
and all that in the middle of walmart
some people are me sometimes i just want
to go get a loaf of bread
you know and so talk about being able to
balance these
energies and turn them off and on in
those things yeah this
probably this may be shocking so when
you say
empath and i say feeler like we're
talking about the same thing someone
who's feeling spiritual things some
people are more
discernment discernment the spirit of
discernment
yeah and some people are more of a
knower they'll just know something
and it's not a feeling it's you know
yeah other people see
and then of course there's people that
hear voices and all that kind of stuff
and so like and i should just say for me
the prophetic is more like this is what
i teach is
the prophetic in discernment is your
whole body like you're an antenna
and so just like the like the radio or
listening to music you can turn it up or
turn it down
and it takes time and i have found
myself and many of the people that are
severely like
i mean honestly like a lot of the people
i've discipled they don't tell anybody
but they've been in the psych ward
they've they've had some crazy stuff
that nobody explained and they didn't
realize
sure they may have been abused but they
have a gift
and as they get healed that the gift
they actually get more control over you
know not going into a place and being so
overwhelmed and so
like the biggest thing is people getting
some kind of a you know deep inner
healing however they want to do that
whether it's
in a counselor or a pastor um life coach
whatever it is
like dealing with your stuff because
that's what happens is
sometimes we project our own issues onto
people or we see
that person's got this issue not
realizing oh it's the same issue i have
um
and the gift of discernment um or
intuition is really seeing the past and
that's what's different than the
prophetic you know there's
the prophetic gift in the new testament
which is just encouragement it could be
like
hey i really like your hair you have
nice hair um
that can be that's the most basic it's
not predictive
you know so many people think the
prophetic is all about predictive
ministry
um but it's not that's a very
unfortunately some of the people that
call themselves prophets have hijacked
the prophetic ministry to make it all
prediction based
uh but that's you know that's fine if
that's what they want to do but true
prophetic ministry
is edification encouragement and
building somebody up
has nothing to do with prediction um
but if you're you know but you can
because we're all
everyone is wired to be able to connect
with with god
everyone has these abilities and so when
you start understanding that
you can start to go like okay when i go
into costco some people call it
grounding some people pray in tongues
some people pray
like i'm gonna intentionally go into
costco or whatever place
walmart and i'm gonna be okay and if i
i'm not gonna try to read like i don't
try to read anybody's mind or like pick
up
anything i'm just like i'm here to go
shopping i'm here to do this
if god wants me to talk to someone i'm
open to do that i've committed to doing
that
um and so you know but if i go in
and i'm having a bad day um things have
not gone my way i've got all this stress
i'm overwhelmed and i go in there then
my senses are really really heightened
because i'm not in control of myself and
that's when i start picking up
everyone's stuff and so for me what i've
learned is like
i'll just call it grounding it's like
i'm gonna make sure i'm in the right
place
before i go there so it's like whether
it's listening to music or praying
um i mean i can tell you funny stories i
was in walmart
just kind of minding my own business and
i'm i'm kind of
you know i like to have fun so i like to
pray in tongues
out loud in walmart because the walmart
by where i live is literally like the
international walmart
you could run into somebody from any
country of the world
and so i'm just walking by going up and
like
and people you know most of the time
people don't even look at you because
they just think you're speaking another
language
and i i'm walking doing this and
here comes this um african man and his
son
and no joke the son who's probably like
two years old he turns to me and
goes and spit right on my face
and i just was like god bless you
because what it was
it wasn't this little boy it was the
entity that was
on this little boy and the dad looks at
me
and i knew because i knew i could just
tell where he was from
and i was like you understand what that
is right and he's like yes i'm so
sorry um and i just kept going and then
you know you just kind of wipe it off
your face but it's like that's not the
everyday experience going out but those
are some of the things that sometimes
those things happen and people don't
understand there's a spiritual
you know thing behind that and so
or or they're the kind of person that
thinks they have to fix
everything everywhere they go and i'm
that's the other thing where i've just
learned like
it is not my responsibility um
and i could tell you like a fun story um
obviously you're familiar with being
overcome by the presence of god
to the point where we what the bible
calls being drunk in the holy spirit
i was in uh i was in montana and i was
um i was leading the school of
supernatural ministry at the church i
was at and our lead pastor was
um i was the guy who goes up and
prophesies over people
um and then my team you know they would
come up with me
and he's getting ready to come up to
speak right and so we're doing this kind
of ministry
and i've i have not really met the
people who are hosting the meeting other
than a quick handshake
and there was this one lady who was like
i think she's a seer right um
and so as i'm prophesying i'm not you
know i'm not trying to like
read anybody's thoughts or anything like
that but she just
she says to me she you know without
seeing any words she just says step to
your left there's an angel there
no i didn't see the angel but i've i've
had enough experience to know like
you know when you hear those things i'm
gonna trust it so i'm prophesying over
somebody in the back of the room
and i stepped to the left just like what
i've
thought i heard her say and as i did i
got hit with the presence of god
so strong i couldn't stand up i was
laughing
tears were coming out of my eyes and it
was again just like that experience of
trans relocation
it was that overwhelming presence of god
that just feels amazing
and i just kind of looked at her and
she's just like laughing
and so after the after the meeting
i say to her because i'm really curious
i always ask people questions because i
want to know
like i said to her did you say to me
step to the left and she started
laughing she goes i thought that's who
you were
in the spirit but i wanted to test it
and i just started laughing
and from there we developed a good
relationship because those of us who are
like this
if you don't have anybody in your
community who is like this
it can be i mean it could be very
isolating and alone like
you're the only one i said to a lady
recently
not meaning this to be offensive i said
hey you're a dime a dozen
and she took that as if like oh i'm not
special i was like no no
no what i meant is like we all have
these capabilities
for some people they were unlocked at
childhood for some people it's upon can
you know conversion
uh there's many different ways that this
happens and
the developmental process that people go
through is a little bit different
but since we're all spiritual beings um
this is all available this is available
to all of us yeah
um first Corinthians 14
31 uh love that chapter but it says
you may all prophesy in turn so that
each one can be
edified strengthened and encouraged
essentially
um how do it says you all may not just
the prophets
people need to understand there's a
difference between prophetic ministry
and
uh or or prophesying and a prophet
for me i i really feel like the role of
a prophet is restoring the foundations
that's something that that always rings
true to me
and we know that that goes a little bit
deeper and
the foundations of what we had and what
was lost and kind of reclaiming that
and the prophetic ministry is a huge
part of what needs to be
restored back to the body of christ and
to
individuals around the world so a
prophet has a role
but prophesying you don't have to be a
prophet to prophesy
you all may prophesy each and every one
of you so that you are
strengthened equipped and encouraged
right there there are some rules there
there's some
etiquette to to prophesying so with that
notion that everyone can do it
for somebody who's green this is all
foreign to them how do you start what
would be a great place to activate the
prophetic
and start uh having these experiences
hearing from god seeing spirits
and i would say i think a lot of them
already do they just don't recognize it
because god uses the imagination
but how would someone activate the
prophetic in their life
yeah i mean it's really simple it's just
practice um
and it's being it is easier when you're
in a community like this and this is
like the ecclesia that i lead
you know it's it's easier in this kind
of community
where there's no pressure it's like we
just did this this weekend we put a
we put a towel over our head and then
you have to
share what you see um to the person in
front of you
and and it's fun and it's and we
understand like this is not like we're
not saying this is the voice of god
because when you prophesy it's you it's
not god
and so there's those people who are
saying thus
saith the lord the lord i want you to
quit doing this the lord wants you to
quit your job and start ministry
it's like no that's not god that's you
speaking if god
takes you over and that's entirely
possible and starts speaking through you
that's a whole different thing but most
of the prophetic ministry is
you know what i think you're a really
nice guy um
i bless you you know you have an amazing
marriage like
it's it's speaking into like the basic
things that
um some people would call it just
encouragement
and so and then it's also the part of
getting rid of our own internal voice
that tells us we're worthless
we're stupid whatever it is that you
heard growing up that's still like stuck
in there
um and then discerning between like
who's actually speaking where am i
getting this information
and i find one of the best things about
just being in a group of people and this
is what we do when we do seer schools or
prophetic schools
um is you know help people work through
this because
as soon as somebody closes their eyes or
opens their eyes and starts prophesying
over somebody
any of your issues come up and this is
why i love the prophetic because if
you're insecure
if you're whatever it all comes up and
you get to deal with it and so
to me that's where the prophetic
ministry is really healing
because it's like oh hey i'm just like
everyone else
i have to um you know i have to deal
with
all of my insecurities i have to deal
with my childhood trauma
um not all at once but over time
and so this is the thing when um you
hear in certain communities
how do i get activated um it's like well
we'll just say click the switch is on
you're activated
you're in there your third eye is open
and you are a prophet of god
yeah you're born with it it's just
getting
in the the um the place where you can
practice this stuff
uh and gain confidence in it and also
not take yourself too seriously because
that's the big part where
there's too many people that um sure you
want to have reverence
you want to be accurate you want to be
encouraging but it's also being very
humble to say like
hey was that wrong yeah and then having
people give you feedback
um and just you know and sometimes i've
had people tell me
that was absolutely not true and wrong
and what i do is i just apologize and
then sometimes what happens because they
didn't really understand
the prophetic word it comes true you
know a year later
and then they call you up and they're
like hey dude actually yeah
that was true i just didn't understand
it you know
so go ahead yeah so i'm just gonna say
in a nutshell
it's practicing with your friends with
your family being in a community where
you can do this
and where it's okay to run full speed
and
skid on your face and make mistakes
because if you if you can't make a
mistake
um this is not the thing for you one of
one of my mentors early on said to me
so matt have you ever gotten anything
wrong and i was like
i don't i don't think so and she just
laughed at me she's like
if you've never gotten anything wrong
you can't be in this kind of ministry
and i and i realized i started thinking
i was like oh yeah i've gotten it wrong
yeah but i was like i couldn't think of
anything because i
i hadn't really been a part of prophetic
ministry in the evangelical church i
would just walk up to someone and go
hey i don't know if this is god or not
but this is i picked up this or i saw
this
and they didn't understand i was
literally seeing something and i'd be
like
hey this is the deal like if you don't
stop doing all this stuff
you're gonna burn out you know and then
it comes true and you're like oh okay
yeah yeah there's um man there's a lot
of etiquette to it again
and uh and something me and you kind of
had the conversation
about hearing god's voice just like you
just said
god told me this and we are
now seeing now seeing in the prophetic
ministry
why that may not have been the case you
may not have heard god um
but you you've heard prophetically
you've you've picked up on some things
in the spirit
and uh um seeing the the harm
that that can cause saying god told me
this well guess what god was wrong
or god changed his mind
he was gonna do this but then he changed
his mind like there's all of this weird
um you know god says this or whatever
god says that
um and for some reason in christianity
in the prophetic ministry we've been
told to say that or
and we you know we we change out that
that word god for
jesus the holy spirit and god and
they're interchangeable
the holy spirit wants me to tell you
this jesus
says he loves you so much god loves you
like which one
pick they all kind of interject they're
all the same thing
um so to say that that god is saying
something just because you discerned
something or just because you
feel like you want something to happen
we've definitely we've seen this with
the
with with the election and and people
apologizing and people
now seeing how detrimental this dust
safe the lord can be when you're
when you know how fitting that thus
after the lord
and god feels a certain way that you
feel
you know why why do you and god feel the
same way or god told
and we see this a lot with personal
stuff god told me this is okay
in my life well god told me that's not
okay i cannot and we're talking about
little things maybe with personal
convictions that god told me
no you received the revelation through
reading through
through reflection and now you feel
convicted when you listen to
christian heavy metal because you've
discovered the origins of heavy metal
music and lucifer and
so now you feel convicted because you've
learned some things and now you've
created a law
and then you go around telling other
people that god doesn't want you to
listen to
christian rock because it's because it's
been compromised and it's not of god
so we start like you could you can
easily and
and perfectly say that i don't i i feel
convicted when i listen to this i don't
think that it's godly i don't think that
it's
good but we want to it we want to throw
god in it
you know and say god says don't do this
or god says that
it's a immediate validation
especially for young believers who trust
your word and trust your intuition
and people come up with crazy far out
grandiose things and
and write books and sell books and uh
again with the prophetic ministry of of
this donald trump stuff that kind of
came out we're seeing a lot of
um chinks in the armor of the american
prophetic ministry
and people who call themselves prophets
and who have just kind of like
trying to you know sell something or or
prophesy their own
desires um but it's scary for people
though
because you feel because you've been
used to saying this is god or this is
the holy spirit and
but no you you made that up or you you
feel this way
strong just because you feel some way
strongly and you feel that need
to tell them it doesn't mean that it is
god
and i know that's scary for a lot of a
lot of people but
god doesn't get it wrong we get it wrong
we mess up and so there
is leeway in the prophetic there is room
for growth there is room for
um you know uh you know
exp experimental you know is this god is
this not
is this true so when it comes down to
god
speaking and and what's etiquette i
think it's exhortation it's
strengthening it's
it's equipping it's it's loving versus
like you said these
future events the lord says that trump
is going to
serve two terms and then pence will turn
around and serve two more terms and now
you create all these doctrines to make
it and that's an extreme
case because you know it's huge
grandiose big
big stuff right now but it happens on
on many smaller cases as well with
people saying god
said this and god hasn't told you
anything you feel this way strongly and
you may think it's god but
it's something about owning the word
owning the ability
you know versus like hey this is god
take it up with him you know
what when you when you put this to like
more of the personal level where
we're kind of all at you know if because
it's
it's funny like i'm in an african
village right
um in uganda and um it's the poorest of
the poor right
and what ministers often do is they come
into those places
and they're like you have the favor of
god god is going to bless you
financially
god is gonna and it's like no that's not
like they're not gonna all of a sudden
have a you know for them a hundred
dollars
is like ten thousand dollars to us yeah
and so
i remember being in a village and saying
to them hey next time you have a
minister that starts prophesying you're
gonna be rich
just start going boo tell them to get
out of here
not because it's you know god doesn't
bless you
in in all ways but it's this thing that
every culture has their thing where what
happens is
and this is the other thing too we
people call
everyone a false prophet and i would
hear that
and i just go like i'm like i want to
get into the hebrew what really is a
false prophet
and so what i believe a true false
prophet is because when i read the old
testament it's somebody who worships a
false god
so somebody who prophesied you're going
to be rich and it doesn't come true
or prophesize a wrong president or
whatever
um they're prophesying to what i call
your heart of what you want to happen
it's like being around a bunch of white
trumpers who are like yeah
trump well if i prophesy to them
and it resonates with them they're all
going to cheer
but to me the true prophetic ministry it
it won't resonate with you because it'll
be so beyond what you
know about yourself and it'll be so like
future oriented
that it may actually offend you to say
like wait i'm gonna do
what um but yeah i've been on the um
the other end where i've had people that
are like i've gotten 25 words
and they never came true yeah and so
that's the part when people start
putting
dates and times on things and people
it's like i can't i can't tell you how
many
prophetic words in youth group where
people were called to africa
and called to kenya in nigeria and these
were like i mean every
every teenager was called to this and
none of them and this was
man almost 20 years ago and none of them
were there 20 years ago none of them
have
went none of them have a passion to do
it most of them aren't even in church
anymore like
but i remember you know when you get
that this
prophet prophesied in jesus name and
created this atmosphere and i received
my call into africa and they told
everybody and they prepared and they
studied and then it just kind of fell
away and none of these people
none of them none of them went you know
right and that's that's the other part
too is
if i prophesy that you're going to make
money well guess what you got to get a
job
you know what i mean there's got it like
it there are stories where people
literally will knock on your door and
give you 10 grand
i mean don't get me wrong the
supernatural does happen that way sure
but faith is with action and so
um the cop-out that some prophetic
people will say is well you didn't take
any action or they blame
you yeah one of the things when i travel
is i do
you know healing ministry and you know
we see lots of deliverance and demons
being cast out and just crazy
crazy stuff going back to the beginning
of the conversation where you're
like you're feeling the entities in the
area
and it's overwhelming if you continue to
stay under them you have to go above
them and be like
okay you you serve you serve me you
serve god
i'm above you yeah but that's the thing
where i've seen in healing ministry
where
if somebody doesn't get healed they'll
say well you don't have enough faith or
it's blaming the receiver and for me i'm
the first person to go
if you get healed it's god doing it
through me um
and i don't mean mind saying i healed
you because when i say i healed you
i have a gift of healing but it's god
who gave me that gift so it's coming
from
god but if you don't get healed i'm not
gonna say well it's your fault
um and there's there's a whole theology
behind you didn't have enough faith
um i mean i was in africa and this man
he was standing like this he couldn't
stand up straight and the demon
was literally moving inside of you could
see it bulging out of him
and it's hilarious because i'm used to
this stuff doing deliverance and i'm
i'm laughing um being overcome with the
presence of god i'm not laughing at him
but i'm like
this is like this is not what you see
every day is a
bulge moving around the person inside of
them
and um the translator says oh yeah it's
moving and i'm like yeah i can see it
and so i put my hand on him and it would
move behind him as
if it was playing hide and seek with me
and and
the point of the story was we probably
prayed for him for 45 minutes
cast the demon out of him he stood up
straight
um and he was you know fully healed but
the
the minister of that local church um you
know said to me in english she looks at
me and she goes
he doesn't have enough faith to be
healed because they prayed for him
and nothing had happened and i got so
mad
i took the guy's staff because he was
walking like you know
i took a staff and i threw it and i just
go
i have enough faith and jesus has enough
faith for him to be healed
and she was just like and you of course
you're not supposed to talk to a pastor
like that
but it it's those kind of things that
bother me we can't
blame people for why things are not
happening in their life
um maybe we need to do a better job
explaining
how to receive that's definitely true
but so many times there's a
misunderstanding of
somebody gives a correct predictive word
and then we think they're a prophet and
there's honestly
you know i join up like i kind of sneak
into a lot of groups
and nobody knows who i am because i just
want to see what they're doing
um what they're teaching and some of
them call themselves oracles or prophets
or seers or whatever
and they may be but one of the things
i've noticed with especially the
christian charismatic prophetic ministry
is most people have zero discernment and
can't tell who a real prophet is
um and and that's the unfortunate thing
i could bring in i could bring a
channeler or a psychic to a church
and then tell them don't use any of the
language you use
just use christian language and
many of them would be just as accurate
as
you know yeah because they're just using
a gift that they have
but that's a christian no that can't be
true
yeah oh yeah yeah
you know that that's a big one there's
there's exclusivity
when it comes to you know spiritual
gifts or anything
christian if you will that this is us
for and no more this belongs to us we
create it
we created it and not even the eastern
church but the western church in the way
that we operate in it you know
if we go back to the primitive use of it
man it definitely looks
tribal and tribal looks pagan
you know what i'm saying and so uh
i'm i'm i'm for it you know and being
able to
discernment is to be able to discern to
see god in everything
you know we've learned we've trained
ourselves to see demons and everything
and if you look for it you'll find it
there's definitely those
contrasts but if you train you can
discern and train yourself to see
god and everything and see what is
beautiful and see potential in
everything and everyone
and see how everything is all connected
and that's where i believe
we're headed for sure um one thing you
meant
you mentioned um is like some people who
would call a word and say nope that's
not right i don't receive that that kind
of thing
and and most people can't really tell a
true prophet and they just let anything
fly um one thing i do read in in the
book of corinthians that i've almost
never seen in a church is someone who
would judge prophetic words
and that is an office that i think we
need and usually i feel like it was
someone
who who would who would judge a lot of
matters as someone who
who wasn't like directly um
compensated or a member or some like
somebody who who just like hold on
this is weird this isn't what are we
doing right
i've been that person many times and i
want a word i
want to be um you know i want the
supernatural
to be real i know it's real and and uh
but
i've been in those lines with ministers
and i've heard these words being spoken
oh you're just making stuff up you're
making stuff up you know and people are
with it
whether the people have itching ears
whether the people just want hope
and they want someone to tell them what
they want to hear i mean that's the
trump rally with all the
the you know mega boys or whatever and
you're just telling them what they want
to hear
yeah come on tell me more that's all of
us have a piece of that with whatever
our niche is um but just seeing people
who are just
making stuff up that is just like this
isn't true
i've been i mean i've been uh you know
in in lines where the
the so-called prophet is just giving
everybody book deals
there's a book in you there's a book or
again youth group there's africa deals
africa you go to africa you're going to
africa you're in nigeria
the lord said china china you know and
they get in this frenzy and this
moving energy you know what i'm saying
and creating an atmosphere
um but i really wish
that we had that you know and not to be
to be a party pooper or rain on
somebody's parade but hey man this is
this isn't god man we gotta and not to
just like dampen the whole thing
but like hey we gotta reel this in all
these people ain't don't have book deals
you know
they could you don't know that you know
they could it's
yeah all possibilities are real all
timelines exist and maybe they're
creating it so i mean i get that but
you know i'm saying being able to reel
some of this stuff in because i mean i
was in line to get a word and i was like
nah
i'm good this is crazy all right i'm
leaving see y'all later
and they're just making stuff up but it
sells man
you know the the person says wait wait
wait and i don't see a book deal
what do you mean you know like you're
not hearing god get out of here you're
trying to stop what the holy spirit's
doing they have an easy way of like
mob mentality marking you and i don't
know man what do you think the etiquette
is
with this because it's in the christian
church but it's in the uh i mean i watch
a lot of these uh
psychic live streams who have hundreds
of people listening
and they're literally just making it up
as they go along
i mean just random stuff it is insane
and uh and people love it what would you
say man do we try to
do we try to be scripturally sound do i
don't know
people love a good dinner in a circus
man you know
that's that's a good one people do love
a good dinner in a circus
and this has always been my struggle
because i didn't come from this kind of
like i didn't grow up with a bunch of
psychics and i didn't grow up with a
bunch of
like charismatic prophetic people and so
i've always had a different
viewpoint and even and i don't want to
name the names but you know the churches
that teach
and have some of the best schools for
this stuff like i
honor that and they have to do it a
certain way because they have thousands
of people coming to their place
but there are many things that are so
like it's
they're not biblical and but this is the
other part is when you read the new
testament prophetic ministry like i said
it's three things
and there's no rules it doesn't say
anything about it being accurate
it doesn't say um it just says love
and then it says you know that we're
supposed to have other prophets judge it
and i i don't call myself a prophet but
i have people who will send me words and
say
hey what tell me what you think of this
the first question i always ask
is could this fit with anybody and it's
okay if it does
but if someone says to me matt you're
going to be a rock star
you're going to be the next rap artist
like that just
that doesn't fit everyone right that i
well they may not know i can actually
rap
that i have zero desire i have you know
what i mean but i'm definitely not going
to be in a heavy metal band um
unless i'm the drummer but this is the
part is
sometimes we don't you know if it's
a really encouraging word um it will
resonate with us
and we'll be like yeah but if you're
actually teaching people things that
they don't know that they don't
understand
it won't resonate with them and
sometimes it actually will be confusing
to them
and so like where the prophetic ministry
needs a bit of an adjustment it's
it's the um it's the circus and it's the
performer
because what happens is when you're like
i know this
there's i don't even want to say the
country but there's a certain country if
i go there
i'm going to be paid really well but the
expectation is you will prophesy over
all 400 people in the room and we will
stay here for three hours
until you're done yeah and that's part
of their culture
and what happens is somebody who
like they may be able to give some good
words they may be able to get a
prophetic flow whatever you want to call
it
um but what happens is we'll just say
one out of seven words is fairly
accurate
and then at it just it gets to the point
where it's like
uh yeah i see you having a book deal and
it's what's
in their heart the person prophesying
like if i start prophesying
that i'm going to write a book and that
i'm going to go to africa
or i start releasing that to other
people it's like is that for me
and this this is the thing we had a guy
in our church
that people were calling a prophet um
and i'll just tell you like this dude
uh he had done some of the worst things
of the worst
that if i said most people would be
disgusted with him
um believer and he would hear a voice
speaking to him
and every church service he would come
up
he was not a recognized prophet i didn't
even want to give the guy the microphone
and he would say like he'd have all this
this is a word for the church
and nobody on the staff would say
anything to him because they're like
well
if we say something he's going to be
really offended and me being me
because this guy this guy's like six
five and i just walk up to him
and i just like hey dude i love you but
have you ever thought about
every word you give actually fits your
life
you're prophesying to yourself and it
fits you
he was so offended that that was the
part of the journey where he actually
left the church and then that's where i
become the bad pastor
um because i just asked him the question
i didn't tell him well for sure this is
the thing
every word he gave fit his situation
um and then this guy not only did he
leave the prophetic movement he's now a
heretic hunter so he goes after all of
the big bangs
and he's he's now fairly well known um
and he travels and does all this stuff
against his whole ministry is against
and we can't have a whole ministry
against people that's not
what's what's his the name of his
ministry no i'm not gonna say i wanna
see because i wanna see if he covered me
or featured some of my videos there's a
big guy on youtube
a pirate like he's got a pirate logo or
whatever i don't know if that's him but
no not that's not him but okay but this
is but this is what happens is
we get our feelings hurt and then we
like now we're against
everything and this is the part of
when you are receiving a prophetic word
like this is
you know this kind of stuff isn't taught
enough of here write it down record it
honor what is being said to you but take
it to god yourself and go hey god is
this actually true
yeah and what i do is i i keep them all
even the ones that i'm like this is
not even close because i look back maybe
six months or a year later
and look at them but i don't um
i i believe in the prophetic ministry
obviously i do it
travel doing this kind of stuff but um
i don't put it like really high i put it
really low
yeah because it's not for me it's not
the thing that's going to keep me moving
forward
there's been i can think of two words
that i've received
that um that i actually like
they could have fit a couple different
people but they actually encouraged me
in a season in my life
where i i needed it but i think
that biggest problem is most people take
this stuff
like as if it's god's speaking because
they've been confused
not realizing it's edification it's
building up
it's lifting up yeah so there's a
difference there and this is good that
you brought that out and i'm bringing it
out we're just making random stuff up
you know and what's coming
what's coming to america what's coming
in this next season well saints got
buckled up we're getting ready 20 21 is
going to be a year of refreshing
you know like you just make it up and
just start going
i think that when we look at the
scriptures let's just go back to jesus
let's go back to the woman
at the well did he make up a future
instance
no he read her mail
what's harder what what proves to be one
more accurate
because what did the lady say jesus and
so for those of you who don't know jesus
comes up to this this woman from samaria
and uh
she's at the well getting water and he
gives her a word and
and and he says he reads something about
he knows
he doesn't know this woman from adam but
he knows things about her and he calls
it out he says
she says something about her husband he
says in fact you've had i think it's
five husbands or something like that he
gives a number
you've actually been married this many
times and the person that you're with
now is not your husband
and she and it and for her it rocked her
to her core
and said who are you how do you know
these things about me
and he's able to minister and share
god's love with her right he's able to
we would share the gospel and and how
much god loves them and so this woman
goes
goes away and tells everybody about this
man who knew
every detail about her life it's what
she says all of these people come
he does the same thing he prophesies to
him he heals everybody
revival breaks out off of one prophetic
word off of god of jesus
knowing things about this woman that
only she would know
and so for me that is the true prophetic
when you're able to
read something about their past
past or present future you can make it
up
future there is no testing but when
you're able to look at someone who said
listen
and and uh jesus also does it with uh
with is
it's not nicodemus who was it uh that he
says uh when you were sitting under the
tree i saw you
who was i it was uh james it was
nathan nathan i think but yeah i know
the story yeah
he says when you were sitting under the
tree i saw you and he's like
man you know it spoke to him and oh
because i was alone
how did you see me you know um and so
it's when you're able to to see things
about people that they've done
in the past that you have no
recollection of
those are that's someone who is really
honed in on their prophetic ability
so it's about something that they've
done or a place that they are now
what they're going through that empathy
will let you know what they're going
through when you're able to discern
listen you got a spirit of heaviness on
you
you're going through some things you can
feel it god will whisper it to you like
there's different ways
you you mentioned of of how we're able
to kind of pick up on this energy
what people are going through but it
says that jesus was moved
by their infirmities he was moved with
compassion and we're moved with the same
thing and that's how we enter
into that prophetic ability with
compassion and
listening to god studying and wanting to
look through what we see on the outside
you got to look through what this this
external shell and look into the spirit
of an individual
and then you're able to read you're able
to pick up on things you may hear
something repeated over and over
you may right when you come into
somebody they may remind you of someone
in your life
who was depressed or someone who was
suicidal
like when i look at you for some reason
you remind me of a friend of mine who
struggled with suicide or maybe took his
own life god forbid
and then so that i mean there's
different ways that the imagination
works off of
these impressions and so to try it out
begin to rebuke the spirit of suicide
off of you right now i'll come against
it
you will you will not die you will live
saith the lord
and when we step into thus say after the
lord when we step
into regular prophesying to really
prophesy
is to declare the word of the lord it is
to be an oracle of god
of what his word is yes and amen that he
he loves you
and that he he has great things in store
for you
that you're loved with an everlasting
love and so we read these bible promises
and we're able to
prophetically release those over anybody
right because that's the word of the
lord
and so that's simply prophesying is to
declare
the word of the lord and so we're able
to do that uh strategically
for someone's situation so reading your
mail
most of the time it doesn't even take
explaining and going into a lot of stuff
a lot of times you get that information
and you you just release it and boom a
lot they break
it breaks a shell they open up to god
that god
knows who they are god loves them so
much so that he told you
this about them um what would you say to
that that
that getting that past information and
using that as an icebreaker
for someone who hears the here's the
voice of the holy spirit ministering
yeah so how i define it is probably a
little bit different than other people
i always look at the past as discernment
even though as
if you're a seer because the seer is the
whole body
it's being able to function in
everything right where most prophets are
prophetic people
they don't necessarily get anything else
they're just communicating like a
speaker makes noise
when you hit play and so i look at
discernment of the like if you can pick
up oh this person's been abused yeah or
this happened
or this happened i i call it discernment
and then it's using
wisdom to do i even say this and i
always teach people
never flip a prophetic word
in other words you see somebody
struggled with some kind of addiction
i don't flip it um because to me that's
not prophetic
because for me if you do that to me flip
it
like call it out in front of people what
do you what do you mean like
so say like i struggled with anger and
if someone says
wow i see you as this really loving
father and really peaceful
and i know they're flipping because they
pick up oh there's a little bit of anger
there
yeah like i'm like that's not prophetic
it's actually offensive to me because
i'm like
dude i'd rather you just pull me aside
and say hey are you struggling with
anger
would it be like call it out though
wouldn't you like call that out and then
minister the flip if you will for me
in public i don't do that because i'm
not going to embarrass somebody
if god says to me out loud
matt i want you to call this person out
and embarrass them because what happens
is
i'm on the stage i call somebody out and
let's say everyone in the room knows
that that person
just committed a crime or whatever i
look amazing
because i just called out this person in
the middle of the room god doesn't get
any glory
i get all the glory people think i'm
amazing i
leave and now this person is traumatized
are you talking about the negative or
the positive side of that that's what
i'm trying
i'm talking about the negative okay so
when you said flip i thought you meant
the positive side go ahead
so so if i see they've like they've been
abused or whatever it is then i'm gonna
like what i ask god is like god show me
what i can actually say that would be
encouraging to them
yeah um and different cultures
have different regards for this kind of
stuff i'm in i'm in africa
and we'll just say there's a thousand
people in the room and i'm standing in
the middle of the room
and they say brother now is the time for
you to give words
and i i normally don't give words when i
administer because
but they're like this is what you're
gonna do the whole back of the room
is like this they won't look at me
and i realize i just finally say out
loud i was like hey trans like this
i'm not gonna say anything bad i'm not
gonna call your sin
you already know your stand i'm not
impressed with people who can call out
your sin
just like i'm not impressed when the
traveling minister comes up
and tells you your birthday's june 11
and you were born in you know sedona
california
um because you already know that
information that's a word of knowledge
and it's good because it may open the
door for you to go oh
maybe i should listen to the rest of
this word but it doesn't impress me
because you already know the information
so tell me something i don't know
um an example of this and this is very
basic
a man walks into the church and i see
him
and this is the funny thing if you've
ever watched the show or the comic
daredevil
and you see the kingpin um
like the k to me the kingpin is like
this
apostolic evil guy right well this is
i'm seeing this in the spirit as this
man walks
into church in africa but i realize he's
not evil
he's just he's an apostolic voice in
africa
and so i'm seeing it with my eyes open
he sits down
and then eventually the time comes i
prophesy over write and prophesy over
them
and they're all really impressed that
i've never met this guy and i know he's
an apostle
and i say he's a bishop and all these
kind of things where
to me it's like this is already what
he's doing
it's seeing in the spirit it's it's the
prophetic
but unless it goes further um
did it change his life no it just made
me look good
does that make sense and so so many
times
people think because they can call out
bad things on people
um it's like yeah it makes you look like
a superstar
but the problem in most of the prophetic
ministry is
people feel the pressure to prophesy
yeah and this is why you get
because i like here's let me just
backtrack and go this
if i get invited to a church anywhere
around the world and they're into this
stuff
i know if i prophesy over all the
leaders
i will be invited period
and so i don't do it because that's
and then what happens is wow this
person's a prophet or prophetic or
whatever
and then now this person has a
reputation and now
they're it'd be like you it'd be like me
picking up the guitar
and the holy spirit comes over me and i
can play it and then now
i'm forced to everywhere i go to play
the guitar without the holy spirit
that's the analogy of what happens for
so many
folks is that they just don't you know
they don't
understand how it works and it's a great
way to make money
if you want to be a pr i just saw a guy
charging 69
for prophetic words hey god bless you if
that's what you want to do
um you know so i think the
part that's missing is the people
judging a prophetic word and it's not
judging like
i judge you to con condemnation it's
like no hey does this word fit
everybody yeah um is this actually
you know i like word of knowledge it
opens the door for
something deeper but does this fit
everyone yeah one of the one of the guys
uh and this is one of the things i love
about prophetic ministry is
most of the most famous people they slid
on their face and made
huge mistakes they're not perfect
and that whole hero worship stuff that's
gotta die too
but one of one of my favorite guys would
he would call out
um you know you have cancer it's liver
cancer
it's this and he'd go and you're being
healed right now and they would get
healed
yeah and i to me i'm like if that guy
could do it
anybody can do it but most of us look
and go
oh hero we worship you not realizing no
god's created us all to have these
abilities
because when you're you know when you're
familiar with that
is that is that calling out something
negative but not like
bringing the individual hey you have
cancer kind of thing it's like hey i'm
just going to release this you know who
you are
and even other people who it wasn't
specific but somebody else who had a
report or somebody watching
they kind of get in on that too is that
kind of a little bit more etiquette like
you're talking about
yeah absolutely because calling out
somebody sin
does nobody you know saying oh you have
cancer you have that kind of stuff
like they already know it and so it's
actually an encouraging word to them
um if i'm struggling um like let's just
i'm right you know you know i'm writing
a book and it'll come out this year
but if i'm struggling to finish the book
and someone comes and prophesies you
know i see you struggling
uh but you're actually going to finish
it like that
versus saying i see you writing a book
yeah good thank you
yeah you know and that's the thing like
now if i start prophesying over all your
listeners
i prophesy you know you're going to
write a book and you're going to write a
book and you're it's because it's what
i'm doing
yeah so i'm against
flipping seeing if you see something
negative
and flipping it to the positive instead
ask god
for the something completely different
that will encourage them and
unfortunately in those long prophetic
lines
or you could say pathetic lines um the
people are so hungry to get a prophetic
word
that they turn off their discernment
they turn off their
their the fact that they're also
powerful and sure this person may be
more experienced more gifted
um your gift may be something else but
for whatever reason people
just turn off all of their boundaries to
just
receive whatever anybody has
and the thing you know there's a thing
that's important in all this and you
said it
in regards to jesus if you're gonna pray
for healing
or if you're gonna prophesy over
somebody you need to step into the
compassion
and the empathy and the love of god
because when you do
you're very careful with what you say
and i think this is what happens when
you
you start off and you like people think
oh you're the next big thing and you're
accurate
is you start off in the right way but
over time
those platforms because i've watched
those platforms eat people
alive yeah you know they rise up and
it's a long way down back to the bottom
and it's really not but it feels like it
because when people get humiliated
and say the wrong thing it's
it's crazy town but that's the part of
we've elevated it
way too high um you know jesus wasn't
standing on a platform
most of the time giving prophetic
prophetic words like we see
you know now yeah yeah no i mean for
sure god's heart's always restoration
god's heart is always restoration
whether he and good thing he does come
to us in our sin and he knows the things
that we've been i mean that
for me again that is a true prophetic
but there is etiquette he said the
things we're trying
we're trying to hide from people or you
don't know that i was abused you don't
know that i was raped or molested you
don't know that my
husband is cheating on me and i haven't
told anyone and someone says
you know if someone's able to call it
out but then whether they have to call
it out or whether it's
hey god knows what you're going through
and i know you're heartbroken and i know
you feel like nobody cares about you
you know even in your own h however you
want to do it but it's
it's okay god how do i minister the
it goes a little bit deeper versus
seeing the first thing with
you have to kind of get into the
interpretation and part of i think the
prophetic is
is holding it sitting with it for a
minute say okay god what would you say
i see this going on what would you say
yeah they've been cheated on yeah
they're stealing from their company
what would you say god sees you stealing
from your company stop it now you know
what would you say maybe there is times
like that i don't know
but even with dreams and visions because
we're getting into the prophetic we got
to talk about dreams and visions and
prophetic dreams
or symbolic dreams that you have about a
church and
you're able to see something is it just
to call it out or how do we prevent this
how do we stop this from happening
you have to the part is the song and
dance of seeking and
just like joseph had the dream of of his
brothers coming down and bowing down and
all of these things like
what does this stuff mean what does this
represent in my life
and also my brother's life like how do
we search this out
and i think it's as easy as whether you
sit with it for yourself and get before
the lord or ask a brother
or someone who's actually you know
trained in this stuff of what
symbolism looks like or what god would
say in a situation to help you
especially just starting out so that you
can see how this
can can benefit everyone involved versus
humiliation
stopping people the person might not you
humiliate them they don't even come back
to church anymore they quit believing in
god
all of this kind of stuff right so to
tap into that etiquette
um one thing i wanted to just kind of go
a little bit deeper and
with you uh about it's something you
mentioned that i actually do
uh when you talk about like what you're
going through like this per you
mentioned that guy who was prophesying
just about what he was going through and
what was active in his life
i'm not talking about book deals i'm not
talking about
starting a podcast you know you're god
want you to start a podcast god wants
you to write a book god wants you to
be a rapper god wants you to go into
full-time ministry because i went into
full-time ministry
we definitely have and i and i struggle
with some of that as far as like
you know honoring people where they are
you know what i'm saying like hey
you know you love changing oil i hated
it
you know it was hell for me to to be
under a car changing oil
all day or whatever but some people they
thrive that's what they're created to do
their brain is wired that way
i don't have to prophesy full-time
ministry to them just because
god's opened up that door for me so
there's a part of me that has to like i
have to remove myself from that
but as far as like emotionally
um trial and tribulation wise i found
that
when you don't know how to pray when you
don't feel motivated
and you don't know what to say that
you're not the only one going through
stuff when it comes to calamity and
trouble
that we can get together and pray and
almost you pray your
your way out of it or you you identify
that that thing because i feel like
a lot of times you're going through
stuff that the collective is going
through
and you're able to feel like almost like
overwhelming empathy that it may not
even be yours
but you've been depressed i've had
family members who have struggled with
depression
and all of a sudden i get depressed you
know
and i don't get depressed you know what
i'm saying and it's like okay do you sit
in it do you keep it or do you pray
through it do you minister to the
individual
so that when it lifts off of them it's
gone so i've found
that we can get together and whatever
i'm going through i can say the lord
wants to
you know obviously he wants to bring me
out of it he wants me to find
restoration he wants me to
be healed or whatever so i'm not the
only one going through
depression i mean the majority of
individuals right now are dealing with
depression
they're dealing with loss like if you
let's just say
for an example i lost a dog my dog
passed away and i can
just i know what grief feels like i know
what loss feels like and we just get
together to pray prophetically
and i'm just going to minister to those
who are going with loss
going through loss right now i have an
overwhelming relationship with loss and
i'm going to minister
healing and i'm going to pray i'm going
to push i'm going to pray until
something happens until
that feeling of loss moves into a
feeling of maybe gratitude and
thanksgiving
and and do you get what i'm saying like
not
prophesying book deals or starting a
ministry or this kind of thing but what
you're going through and being able to
feel because the prophetic ministry is
being able to feel in walmart
hey someone has overwhelming anxiety
how do i know because all of a sudden
out of the blue
i'm the healed of the lord and but i
have overwhelming anxiety out of the
blue
and i feel like you can take it with you
as well if you don't release it
whether in your own prayer time or you
minister to that individual you
a lot of people will take that with them
if they don't know how to
turn that knob on and off or ground and
that kind of thing
i'll just let you kind of respond to
whatever part you wanted to i know i
touched on several things there yeah so
using the walmart analogy and being a
feeler and picking up everything around
you
again it goes back to get your own
emotional healing
i've been so depressed before that i
couldn't leave the house
you know so i know what that feels like
but if i'm
in that state of mind i'm not going to
go pray for someone with depression
because
i just don't feel like that's for me
that's a good place
if i'm in a great place um and i'm not
going to tell them my testimony
of how because this is so many testimony
based ministry
i know where you're going yeah i
experienced all these bad things and
i was addicted to porn too brother
just get to the point and pray for me
because i need help right
so that's where um if if i'm
walking into costco or or walmart and
all of a sudden i get hit with something
i'm like okay um god show me who it is
and i'll you know i'm happy to go pray
for him and i
and that's where you see god do just
like some really fun stuff
or you know i show up i'm in uganda
about ready to minister
i haven't eaten any food i haven't drank
anything
and i'm i feel like the worst sickness
i've ever felt in my entire life
um i feel like i'm gonna die like
physically
that's how i feel and i hadn't felt
these kind of things for quite a long
time
and i was like what is going on i'm
praying in tongues i'm trying to get it
off me
and i go to the meeting and the music's
really loud i'm just like
and in my mind i'm going god why do i
have to be here
you know because this is miserable
because i couldn't shake what i was
feeling
and you know god didn't say anything to
me and then as i prayed for
you know there was like maybe 50 people
there as i prayed for them
and started breaking off the spirit of
death
the spirit of python and all these
things off of people
literally i get to the last person
there's one person everyone's sitting
down i pray for the last person
and all the feelings left me because it
was it was like an
intercessory thing so then when i went
back to that church again
i had to teach them this is what the
spirit of python is this is what the
spirit of death is this is what
you know this is what you guys are
experiencing and then how to change it
and i think that's the part where
there's the regional stuff
versus the individual stuff and all of
us
um as individuals you know we have to
deal with our own stuff
because you know we we use the word
wounded healer
but this is the other part of like when
you go to get your
um your master's in counseling um
some of the people are so wounded and
going there because they're trying to
get healed
and if those people are released into
the public now they're making money
listening to people's trauma and they're
not able to help anybody
because just because i've been
traumatized doesn't mean i can help
someone
it means i can relate but you have to go
the steps further once you've
overcome it then you do have an
authority then you do have an
understanding and sure god can use your
prayers when you're the most wounded
person on earth
but to me it's always best practice to
be like okay
um i'm not gonna pray for something that
i'm
currently struggling with i'm gonna ask
for someone else to pray for pray for me
rather than try to step into these
things and that's
to me it's the same with prophetic
ministry if you're struggling
and you're not hearing it's probably
okay to take a break
you know and most people they won't they
won't do it they're like
okay i've messed up the last five words
publicly
i think i'll just stop prophesying for a
while you know
i mean it's okay to do and i think but
there's this thing where
you know people don't you know they have
they get their identity in their gift
and that's the problem with and some
people get their identity in their pain
you know and that's why they tell you
their their horrible trauma over and
over again because it's like
that's their identity you know it's like
you meet them for the first time and
they basically throw up on you god bless
them i didn't too
right and i can relate to it so i it
just gives me more compassion for them
you know it's not a judgment thing but
it's like
we have to teach people you know
different kind of things and how to
relate
so yeah yeah i think i think the extreme
with with some of that is like the
people who
um are waiting to get everything perfect
before they step out
you know they got well you know i still
struggle with this brother i still
struggle with doubt or i still struggle
with
this and that and so they don't step out
so i guess the the in between is like
this this level of uh integrity um
you know waiting till you become perfect
or get all the sin out of your life
to to step out and let god use you um
you know what i'm saying so i think that
that hinders a lot of people too but
then again
the opposite of that is people who their
personal lives go unchecked
and they're doing all types of demonic
stuff obviously
god can still use you the gifts and
callings are without repentance
uh you learn how you learn how to do
this stuff and there's many people
operating in it
who don't walk in a level of integrity
and have all kinds of secret stuff going
on that you'll never know about i mean i
knew people who would
smoke crack all week long and then
friday night they get they go to a
prophetic service to prophesy
and they're literally smoking crack
spawning uh
people's tvs and vcr so that they can
get money
and then they would go and give people
prophetic words that were recorded
at noted prophetic ministries that just
let almost
a lot of people cut they train people
but they let them prophesy over people
and i was like hold on this is
because i know what you're doing i don't
want to be a part because if these
people are so-called prophets and they
can't discern that
i don't know you know that should be
something that that
stands out i mean so you know you have
the two extremes there the people who
they let their struggle hinders them
from stepping out in ministry
and then you have people who don't check
themselves
or because you know with their personal
life
and those people end up burning out and
and that their end is usually worse
you know in the end they're usually
worse stop worse off i think
the um i think the middle ground
is is understanding that our life is our
ministry you know that in ministry
it has nothing about a pulpit i know
that that we have ministries and we're
speakers and we do a lot of different
things and books and all these things
and it and it helps and touches a lot of
people but again my heart is
for the person who doesn't look for that
the the prophets that you
you never hear their name that they
operate and they can call out your past
they can call out very accurate words
but they don't
they don't they're not narcissistic they
don't wanna they don't wanna platform
they don't
want full-time ministry they are content
where they are and so
um but they understand that their life
is their ministry that they're
that you know everywhere they go uh is
their pulpit
and each individual that they they reach
um
you know it's just as valuable as having
a podcast that
you know or getting paid to doing a
speaking engagement you know
um and i think that that's even though
we do that i think that
our conversation and and things um
what minister what true ministry is i
think should should change for a lot of
people
because then i think that we would stop
trying to work up a crowd we would stop
trying to tell the people what they want
to hear
versus what they need to hear kind of
thing you know
yeah i mean this is this was the thing
like
i think of two stories with what you
said in in 2019
i was about ready to minister in a
country and they're like
profit give us a word for the nation and
i'm like no i'm not going to
and i told the guy privately this is
what i see and it's all negative it's
fire it's bloody
and it's all the stuff you're seeing now
and i said i'm not going to release this
you can tell your intercessors to pray
but this
is not going to bless people it's going
to scare them
um god told me in you know 2020 do not
travel
uh all that kind of stuff like that's
not encouraging for you you just kept it
to yourself
yeah i'm with you what's happening
i'm with you i don't know if i think i
told you like i had audio stuff that
probably would have went viral
but i was like nah this isn't i don't
want to i don't want to
feed into this this was before
everything happened
and someone warned us very sternly
who had in who not only heard from it
wasn't a heard from god thing it was
like listen i know what's going on
in the government i know what they're
doing get ready
buckle up you're gonna see stuff you've
never seen before
you know and i part of me was like yeah
release it you know people need to know
this and i was like nah
i'm not putting that out you know and
and that's where i tell my friends
like let's just say i see a vision and i
see
my my room where there's food like fully
stacked because i think there's gonna be
like the vision i see is basically
there's gonna be some kind of food
shortage
well do i release that publicly and it
goes back to what you said earlier if
you have a dream if you have a vision
the last thing you need to do is go live
and say
i just had a dream last night i don't
listen to anybody who does that because
they need to seek the lord
and ask because it's like i've heard a
million times that the america is going
to be destroyed
by jesus with laser beam eyes coming
back and blowing up all the
you name it whether it's the illuminati
or whether it's the prophetic movement
of the democrats he destroys the
democrats it's like prophesying over
your family death and destruction it
makes
no sense whatsoever and so like i just
turned those people off and i'm like
you know what they had a dream that's
very distracting because god revealing
that they have some things that they
need to work on it's not for public
consumption
um and i think that's the biggest thing
and to go back to something else you
said
ministry you know go therefore make
disciples of all nations it doesn't say
go be a pastor go be a prophet go
be it doesn't say go start a movement
it's like
two people i know one um she woke up one
night
and she was four feet off of her bed and
no we can't say the word levitation in
christianity we can always say floating
right because jesus floated in the crowd
but she was levitating four feet off her
bed
well you know what's you know
what does she do does she have a public
ministry no and she's way more powerful
than most people that
you know we could name and then i know
another person who literally
um we'll just say prayed over their
neighborhood
all the crackheads left the neighborhood
all the criminals left neighborhood
the people in the neighborhood started
getting healed without anybody laying
hands on them
um you'll never even know who this
person is and
they don't have a ministry they're not
trying to have a ministry
they're just it's like a stay at home
mom that's minding her own business
doing what how she feels led by the holy
spirit
and that's the unfortunate thing that
you know i've seen in the church
community and all of them it's like
i want to get paid by the church because
i have a gift and i remember
one of my good friends who was in the
business world very high up he goes
don't waste your gifts on the church and
i was like wow that's offensive why
would you say that
he's like they will ruin you and i was
like well you sound kind of bitter
and he's like oh trust me i know what
i'm talking about and i was like
um and what he meant was you don't have
to be
you know you don't have to start a
ministry and do these things just do
whatever the holy spirit tells you to do
every day all the time instead of trying
to do what
someone else is trying to do you know
that's
that's the problem there's too many
copycat you know
and and that's why you get in the
prophetic ministry
or healing ministry the the inside
secrets of this person has a healing
ministry and there was 500 people in the
room
and three people got healed well that's
awesome three people got healed
but none of the other people did but
you're not going to see that you're not
going to see them talk about that
you know and that and we'll say that
that person has a worldwide
healing ministry it's like well i think
anybody can do that
um i could take and this is when i used
to be a youth pastor
we'd have non-christians come in um
to to our meeting some of the you know
and some of the kids in the group were
getting high
and just being kids right and they could
give accurate prophetic words because
just like you said it's a gift
and i had parents that were upset
because a non-christian comes in
prophesied really accurate and they're
like well you can't
you can't allow kids to prophesy who
don't believe in jesus i'm like
why this is the way we're all created
when the bible says i'll pour out my
spirit on
all flesh it doesn't say good boys good
girls
not people who don't sin like you do
it's
for everyone and so that's the part
where
whatever like for those of you guys are
watching and you feel like hey you know
i'm not good enough or i screwed up or
you know we all have those things it's
it's time to step
out it's time to to practice
hearing from god it's time to practice
seeing
knowing feeling and being a part of a
community where you can grow
and where you feel safe that's the key
to all of this
because we really should be getting the
information for ourself
so that we can bless ourselves our
family our friends our neighbors
not so we can you know be the next
famous
you know whatever and that's
unfortunately it's
it's just like being the next famous
musician who doesn't want to be that
person
you think it's this glorious thing until
you actually get there
and then you're like oh this is not what
i thought it was you know
yeah yeah um i did it i want to play
this quick intro
and outro from my song um i sampled
someone
and uh i really like what he says about
dreams and
and the prophetic and the i remember it
was a epiphany for me coming out of the
prophetic movement and having
i mean i've had dreams about destruction
and stuff but they were
weird like there was giants and stuff
blowing it was really weird
and it'd be easy to say that the
nephilim spirits are going to come back
and destroy the you know i'm saying like
come on
uh but i had i had they're already here
they don't need to come back i know
right
um but i have friends who brother the
lord has spoken to my heart america was
not going to make it past 20 you know
whatever and this was
10 years ago but anyway when i heard
this this
this uh sample this uh video it really
spoke to me and it was epiphany for me
and that's what we just said but i just
want to play this short little clip it's
an intro and an outro i'll fast forward
it but
check it out many people have had dreams
where there is doom
or apocalyptic events on the earth and
they mistakenly believe
these dreams are prophecies that say
that the earth is about to be destroyed
but remember the dream is not of the
world
it's only of your world within your own
mind and your own psyche therefore when
you see
someone having these apocalyptic dreams
don't be dragged into the idea this
means something like that is going to
happen to the world
especially if these dreams are happening
to you you can reframe them
to understand that what you are
witnessing is a prophecy of the
inevitable death
of your ego
so that's the intro and there was
another part i want to play for the
outro but that's
yeah you know you're my own destruction
scientific skeptical belief that you're
all alone in the universe
that once you die that's it there's
nothing more than who you are
it is only once the soul comes in and
transforms this
egoic mind that you then experience
a true awakening you can let go of that
part of yourself that doesn't want to
forgive
you can let go of that part of yourself
that criticizes others
and that feels the need to protect the
body and its own interests above all
else you can recognize that by helping
others you are helping yourself
yeah that was david wilcock and now he
he did like a 20-minute
presentation on that but i remember
hearing that for the first time
that maybe those dreams aren't about the
end of the world and i think we knew it
inwardly at least i did
and many other people do too but it's
that we we've never heard it articulated
because we've heard these
from the pulpit get ready saints of god
i remember
you know them talking just the end of
the world and you know uh
when i got born again um the uh the
movie came
out left behind and so they were showing
that kurt cameron is going through
speaking engagements and
tim lehane i believe is the author and
there was just end time scenario there
guys we are in the last days and
we see it now with everything that's
going on in the world too so this is
end time propaganda stuff that gives
a a platform to a lot of these theories
and stuff about the
world exploding or whatever you
make it up it can fit into it and uh so
to see that
listen this is about the egoic death in
the death of your own ego and crucifying
even the story of jesus to look at it as
a
you know something that we venerate
christ and what he did for humanity but
yet
he says you must take up your own cross
and you are a part of this story and
you have to follow these this do the
inner work as well and so
it's it's this invitation to to die
and to be resurrected ourselves and so
the stories make a lot more sense but
for some reason you know we
we allow pastors to come in and i
remember them telling stories like
i mean this was in 2001 where they were
like
an evangelist comes in and talks about
how there was a um
an 18 wheeler that that flipped on the
interstate and they got there and
uh um guillotines
came all out out the back of it and then
he hits you with the scripture about how
christians are going to have to give up
their heads and
christians will be martyred for the
cause of christ and
and so he's telling you that the
government and all these things are
about the past and this was in 2001
and so there's this oh he's coming back
any day guys get ready and so there's
this
expectation not to take care of yourself
take care of your body take care of your
family start a business whatever it is
something that has longevity take care
of the planet it is hey he's about to
come back guys and this he will destroy
this place
with fire and i've heard even heard
ministries like they make fun of the
green movement
they make fun of preservations and save
the whales because
jesus is going to come back and destroy
everything so why are we trying to
preserve what god is gonna
destroy you know what i'm saying so
there's these weird doctrines with this
end of the world scenarios that have
crept into the church and uh
you know very apocalyptic texts that we
don't we take literal
and we and everyone thinks it's for for
them
but everybody as far as i'm concerned
has always believed that christ was
coming back during their life
i've there was a time where i totally
felt that and i'm looking in the clouds
and praying for him to come
there's people begging them to come back
when if you really believe a lot of that
narrative you think that you have
family and friends who are going to burn
in hell for eternity but you're begging
him to come back before these people
even
have made a decision to surrender their
life to the gospel but yet
your existence is so miserable as
someone who has alienated yourself from
your friends and community that you're
begging for this place to be destroyed
so that you can find some relief
that's not good news my friend like that
that is that i don't want no part of
that and so that is the
uh reality for many western evangelical
christians
yeah because death and destruction sells
by the way that whole dream about
a trap a tractor trailer crashing in
guillotines that would make a great
death metal song
right right
and that's the thing is like if you want
to get into the true prophetic we're
gonna
we will get to the point where we are
able to live to 200 years old that
the technology because we're tech we're
the most advanced spirit
spiritual technology ever created that
we will actually be able to overshadow
ourselves and heal ourselves and do
things that are beyond
um you know what most people can even
think about
but look at the world people love
death and destruction yeah that's why
that's why the gospel of like
repent right now or you know if you die
today you could go to hell
you know like that thing is like wait a
minute what about
what about the fact of like you know the
bible says that there's
um you know it talks about heaven and
it's plural and there's multiple heavens
that we have access to now that we don't
have to wait until we die and have a
love affair with death
yeah and that's the thing is death has
no power over us
and so that's we need to preach the true
gospel of eternal
life that you know that life is forever
no matter
who you are and through jesus christ
you know through the death burial and
resurrection um you can go in right now
you don't have to wait um here
here's a great example we're we're in a
restaurant
and i'm with a team of people that are
all prophetic and we get a waitress
right
and um and i wouldn't do this in a
church
but we're like okay guys we're going to
bless the waitress financially
but we're going to bless her by giving
her prophetic words i want all of you to
give her a word
before we do it i ask her permission i
say hey
um we would like to give you an
encouraging prophetic word and i
and i told her i said i don't know if
you're familiar with psychics
or this kind of stuff and she's like
yeah absolutely i love psychics and i
said hey
um could we could we give you from a
christian perspective a prophetic word
she's like i'd love it she's like when i
woke up this morning i told the universe
to that i wanted to have a great day and
you're the answer to that
that prayer and i was like awesome so
everyone's prophesying over
she's crying you know and it's like
really good stuff right
and i and to i'm gonna to my own horn
for a minute
i said to her i said hey you've been
traveling in the spirit
to and fro where the bible actually
tells you not to do it i was like you're
not in trouble but i want you to
understand through jesus you can
actually ascend into all these realms
and go and and i said and what's
happening is people have told you
that when you go into these realms that
torment is normal
that these spiritual guides it's normal
for you to be tormented by them
and i was like no that's not the way i
can go into any realm
i receive no torment i receive no
backlash
and what she was taught is like well
ascension you get a headache
and i was like no you don't get a
headache that that's what the other team
tells you because they don't understand
spiritual things
and so i prophesied to her but then i
give her the wisdom
i don't even say to her like would you
like to start a relationship with jesus
i just was like that's enough my friend
who is
from that area gave exchange contact
numbers
let her told her you know told her about
jesus helped her get
free and she and what she's the seer
this woman
and now she's learned how to actually
ascend into heaven
rather than going to and fro throughout
the earth um
in in the ways that are probably not the
best where she was actually getting
demonically attacked or spiritually
attacked whatever language you want to
use
but to me that's a positive word that
could
be somewhat negative but this is the
thing that kind of
opened her up to who god really is
and that that you know the whole like
you're gonna
you know the world is coming to an end
like when jesus said
you know that he's coming back soon he
was talking about seasons
and ages he could go into the all the
stuff about you know the ares and all
that kind of kind of stuff
but those guys knew that's what this is
the funny thing about the gospels is
the babylonian seers are the one that
come
and know where jesus is being born you
know
well that's not christian what's in the
bible there's fears they're babylonian
seers
um they're the ones you know that are
talked about the the wise men
you know um when you look in the greek
it's actually the word
choza they're seers they're babylonian
sears
and but that's the thing is like too
many people have a love affair with
death and it sells you know if
if there is actually a church i know
where the prophet
the house prophet will call out you've
you have stolen from your neighbor
you've committed adultery
and they make them come up front and
repent
publicly in front of everyone and guess
what
the church is very small and people
don't come back because they've
completely
missed the gospel and that man has a
really powerful gift
but he won't listen to anyone he
believes it's for destruction
and for hurting people and that's that's
just
not that's just not how it is and so
if you believe the world's gonna be
destroyed by jesus with laser beam eyes
you'll probably manifest that in your
life but let's instead
we are the sons of god we're supposed to
manifest
the change on the earth we're supposed
to bring
creation back to life we're supposed to
hover over the earth
and cause the pollution to go i we
should be able to hover over
all the coral reefs instead of doing
some political campaign we should be
able to hover
hover over the coral reefs that have
died and command
them to come back to life um and that's
the part is
you can if you can pray for someone and
god heals them well then you can
manifest
healing over a rainforest or over the
coral reefs or
but that's the problem is we've been
convinced that we're these weak
powerless people
doomed for destruction because we sinned
or we something bad happened to us and
i'm sorry those things happen to you
guys but like it's time to step
up and step into who god's created you
to be it's not
you know it's not a weak powerless
person because that is not who you are
you know that's that's the part that's
ministry if you can hover over the
great barrier reef and bring it back to
life you're not going to get credit for
it
because you can't say why i did that but
the
the manifestation and the reality of
that happening
that's you know god's gonna get credit
not us those are the fun
things that if people really realize how
powerful they were
sure deal with your issues but your
power is way stronger than any kind of
thing that's happened to you or any
bad decision you've made it's impossible
to wreck your life it may cause some
destruction in your life
but you cannot no matter what you do you
cannot
stop what god has planned for your life
and i think
that's the biggest lie that people have
believed i sinned where i did this kind
of thing and now
my life is over it's like no you're
instead of your life going straight you
just kind of went in a circle now you're
back
let's keep going and that's the part
where too many times
the gospel of well you screwed up you're
done
we're gonna put you on stage and call
you out publicly
um that's the that's the
ministry of death right there let's just
kill this person
in front of everyone um let's humiliate
them
and you know what's funny you see like
in the news some of these big churches
where somebody messes up
those newspapers love it they love to go
hey look at here's another
dirt bag who's screwed up
you know as if they don't too you know
yeah
yep they told you hero worship at its
best yeah
all of them um matt man enjoyed this

isn't affecting you right now anymore so
that's

the biggest thing i think from learning
here uh
that we learned this is learning from
our mistakes too
learning that you can get it wrong and
it is okay
you know it's okay to mess up especially
if you're in a community that you're in
a place
where there is some training that's
going on and so i come from a place of
prophetic training and to to step out
for the first time and
and and engaging the imagination and
engaging god in the prophetic
that way so there has to be a place to
get started unless
if not you're just pushed out there in
your ministry and fed to the wolves then
to understand that you got to know that
in the old testament they had a school
of the prophets
where they tapped in through music
there's not a lot of information about
what they did but they definitely
had instruments and they definitely
believed in the power of music
and so samuel was was a part of that and
so the school of the prophets and so if
they had a school
if they had a training in equipping i
think we need to as well
so to learn from our mistakes to try
things for the first time
and we've had some beautiful sessions on
our zoom and our thursday night school
of the mystics and things where we
we open up people are in tears man
people are being edified people are
being encouraged and people are stepping
out getting their feet wet for the first
time
i love to see it i remember where i was
in a small group
at a small home meeting where that's
what we did we engaged the prophetic we
learned to hear the voice of the holy
spirit and to
articulate that and to share it with
faith and so if you're looking for that
