There is a mystery associated with the Orion Constellation found in indigenous cultures all over the world that dates back to ancient Egypt.
Ancient alchemists speak about man’s connection to the Orion Nebula and its relation to the human body and consciousness.
The Orion Nebula has been depicted by some of the greatest masters in religious art including Michelangelo, El Greco, Bernini, and others, yet the intimate knowledge of the Orion Nebula found mysteriously in these paintings precedes the discovery of the telescope and still would require technology that rivals some of our most powerful telescopes today.
While driving for my old delivery company, I stopped at an exit right past Pensacola Florida to spend a few minutes stargazing and to enjoy the view and the cool breeze. I got out and began to name off all of the constellations and stars that I knew.
I then began to pray and sing this new song that I wrote to God that is really powerful. I was looking up at the constellation Orion and then I turned away. When I looked back at the belt of Orion I saw that it was lit very brightly and it caught my attention because it was too bright!
I then looked a little higher and saw that it was not Orion’s belt that I was seeing at all, but what looked to be three bright stars in the position of the belt. The stars were aligned like Orion’s belt, but were actually a bit below the constellation.
As soon as I realized this, the two stars on each end began to move towards the constellation. The lights on each end began to move up and one started to zig zag a little towards the other. They moved towards the constellation Orion and lost their brightness as the appeared to go into the constellation.
The other star remained in the place. I ran back to my work truck to get my camera to see if I could get any video, but my camera could not pick up any light in the sky because it was a low quality camera phone. The middle light I saw was actually the star Rigel lower down in the constellation Orion.
The founder of the Seventh Day Adventist church Ellen G. White would often have visions from heaven and fall into trances during worship. One of her visions was of the constellation Orion. She said, “Dark heavy clouds came up and clashed against each other. The atmosphere parted and rolled back; then we could look up through the open space in Orion, whence
came the voice of God. The Holy City will come down through that open space.” This is the gateway from our part of the universe into the central Heaven where God dwells. Here we see Ellen making the following conjectures.
- There is an opening or stargate into “a region more enlightened”
- Orion is a gateway between our universe and the dwelling place of God
- The voice of God comes through an “open space in Orion”
- The “holy city” will come to earth through the opening in Orion
