Brian’s Testimony…..

There I was, in the midst of a divorce to the woman I loved, lacking clarity, unsure of who I was and why was I here-I was broken…and broken hearted.  In the middle of this horrible time God reached down and pulled me out of the mire.  Step by step God guided me on how to overcome my past, how to plan my future and how to follow Him to a place higher than I had ever known.  He laid out a battleplan for me that took me from what seemed like an epic fail, to the greatest time of my life.  And He can do the same for you!  This is not a self-help book, it is a “God Help Book” and if you let the Lord lead, with the simple steps in this book, you will be amazed at the results.  God is powerful, let Him lead you higher…this book shows you how…

Here’s a second thought from Brian….

Every one of us has pivotal moments in our lives that we can look back and point to as a key moment that marked a shift or a change. My divorce and the accompanying learning was one of those moments for me. Sometimes these moments are planned but most of the time they are thrust upon us. Some crisis or disruption forces us to look deep within ourselves and find a different course. Some people do quit when they hit those moments. They never recover. But some take those moments, learn the deep lessons, and rise to greater things. My hope is you are that second type. We learn more in the valleys. If you are broken or brokenhearted, you are not alone and it does not matter how you got here. The information I am about to share is straight from God’s Word and His wisdom can change your life if you let it. This can be your moment!  So let’s dive in to perfect love and find out how to rise to our higher high!

you you know show Jah the open dates I

14th Valentine's Day and uh just this is
the perfect day to talk about love right
that's right so we can get started I
want to talk about the book and just
pull some some topics out of there but
um give us a little bit of background
about who you are what you bring to the
table ok well I am a business man I one
of the top commercial brokers in the
country I got saved back in 96 and I've
been walking with the Lord since I I'm
not perfect I had a the book was formed
out of actually a divorce and it to the
woman that I'm just madly in love with
and it drove me deeper into God's Word
and from it God began to I feel God
wrote this book not me but he scripted
out and laid it all out I mean it's
amazing how it all came together and and
uh it
I got published last year my now wife
who was my ex-wife at the time she read
the book and it inspired her to rekindle
read rekindle the marriage I don't know
anyway we're married again we're back
together again and um you know we
actually just spent the night in a hotel
I'm actually in a hotel room right now
my me and my wife had the night away
from all the kids and it's so bright and
early
it's good stuff yet
yeah that's good because one of the
questions I had for you I was gonna ask
you about this whole idea of soulmates
right and you have the person that
you're madly in love with almost like
your other half when two come together
they become one flesh and you have that
person okay and unfortunately some
people or fortunately I don't know the
position but some people experience
divorce you know in some people they
don't agree with it like they're madly
in love with the person but due to
circumstances or whatever it doesn't
work out I got lucky you know what I'm
saying I'm definitely lucky I found my
other half early in life and so not
everybody gets to do that right not
everybody does that some people go to
three four five marriages you know or
some people never get married and they
feel like they're destined to be alone
but when it comes to like that soulmate
in that other half do you think that I
know you if your wife's in the room it's
gonna be hard to answer this but she's
not she's she's scared of being on here
so she's gonna interview somebody we
talked about this you know the soulmate
thing and they say well you know you can
just get another one you're like if that
person didn't work out you can have
another soulmate or they even use terms
like twin flame and stuff like that do
you think that that you could just pick
and choose or is it like destiny that
kind of brings those two together and
it's like something sacred before God
when you come together in matters like
that
Wow I gotta be honest I don't know the I
can't imagine being with anyone else
other than Heather you know but I think
any any time you you go into marriage I
mean God wants it to be forever and he
wants it to be just the two of you and
and I think that if you if you focus on
the other person and put their needs
above themselves and if both partners do
it I don't know that you have to have
that that that feeling to have a great
marriage I think you can still have a
great marriage and you know you know in
the Bible a lot of times the the spouse
is picked for the the the you know so
so I mean but but that being said man I
just look at my wife and I get you know
I mean she never ceases to I mean she's
just amazing to me so so I I've never
experienced that with anyone else so you
know that's not enough to hold the
marriage together maybe but but I can't
replace that I've never felt that with
anyone else
just like I'm saying duplicated at will
or something or just I don't think
that's possible no yeah you know but I
think if you focus on someone I think we
love what we focus on with the exception
of ourselves if we if we if we just self
love doesn't work you know you end up
seeing all your flaws but if you focus
on others and you love others then
you'll love the things you focus on you
know whether good or bad so focus on
good things you know the title of the
book again is perfect love God's battle
plan for the broken and the
brokenhearted
there's something about kind of what's
all about this that your your setbacks
being a slingshot to shoot you into your
destiny where you really need to go and
focus on that stuff and you know what
what the enemy had planned for your
failure God's gonna use it for his glory
you know what I'm saying in those
setbacks and failures are essentially
stepping stones if you learn from them
you learn the lessons and you make the
proper adjustments in your own life and
in your own heart moving forward and you
can use those things for you
what's the whole premise of the book as
far as God you know God's battle plan
for the brokenhearted is that talking
about people who's who's experienced
divorce is that mainly for that or is it
just kind of universal with any type of
setback that people face any kind of
setback I I am for me it was divorced
that happened and and caused it but you
know as I as I as a dug deep so so some
backdrop on it can I can i backdrop the
the divorce is never one person so so I
was a control freak and didn't realize I
was control freak and and when we were
going through some counseling prior to
the to the
agenda the counselor I thought the
counselor was gonna talk about her
because you know she's the one who left
me etc but ended up they came down on me
pretty hard about my control freak so
that drove me to so after I accepted
their what I thought was criticism I
went back into the word and I just
started searching what's the what's why
am i control freak and and I it turns
out that the heart of a control freak is
fear okay you're afraid of losing
control you're afraid of not being in
control and so you try to control
everything fear is the main driver and
once I realized that I realized I went
to the Bible to try to find the answer
and I came across the first perfect love
casts out fear girl I saw that I'm like
wow so this all happened I took a month
off work after the divorce and I went to
hotel room and I just I just you know
disappeared for a while and and so while
I was going through this God so so I'm
in the book I see perfect love and I'm
like I have to I have to research and
see what the Bible says about love so I
pulled out a Strong's Concordance if you
know what that is and I started looking
up everywhere the word love appears in
Scripture and and go back to the
original Hebrew a Greek word and God you
know it's it's it's used a certain way
all the way up until you get to
Deuteronomy and it then it breaks out a
different form of the verb shag and it
means you know to delight in and and and
God just overwhelmed my spirit with the
thought that wow he delights in me just
as I am right now
divorce broken hurting he delights in me
and that just that just set my heart
aflame and it just that was that's
really chapter one is is you know
getting to the core of how God looks at
us and then chapter 2 is kind of God
just led me to start looking up all the
things how us we're fearfully and
wonderfully made and where we're you
know we're we're in His image I mean
we're we're we are amazing you know and
and and we don't feel that way when
we're down so the books up to anyone
who's down and and it starts there it's
it takes you from right where you're at
and your brokenness no reminds you that
that God delights in you right there in
your brokenness and then begins to lay
down truth of Scripture and after
scripture that says who you really are
and I think a lot of times we sin and we
make mistakes because we forget who we
are you know we're we're children of God
and we've got Christ's spirit in us
we've got the Holy Spirit in us and I
mean that's huge we're big and let's not
forget who we are you know so that's
that's the first couple chapters of that
yeah that's deep because you have a
decision to make
so whether it's divorce divorce is a big
one maybe we look at people in our lives
and friends and family members who have
been divorced and there's a decision to
make
are you gonna you gonna go crazy are you
gonna go to the drugs to the pills to
the bar to drinking and things like that
or you gonna draw near to the Father
like gosh do you God restore you and
that's a decision so that's now that's
what divorce perfect example but it's
universal it's your set back at your
getting fired it's your dreams seem like
they're being taken away from you family
and friends gossiping backbiting which
road are you gonna take and so there's a
decision there to make and you know I
hate to say that a lot of times people
choose the low road people run to the
bar they use it as an excuse to vent
into you know get plastered and drank
all the time and that kind of thing that
kind of thing but it really is a pivotal
moment there where you can use your
setback as a slingshot someone here in
the Chad Heather says she says we go
through break down in order to
experience a breakthrough so it's good
you know we got to go through that stuff
and it just came to me earlier and
obviously it we've probably heard a
cliche but you know you're going through
something man I'm going through this
battle right now I'm going through the
struggle whatever you're going through
it you're passing through there you're
not gonna camp there you're not gonna
stay there you're gonna pass through it
and that's part of this whole journey is
the refiners fire of God
refining you giving you
natural empathy for those who are in
similar situations now when you come
come out of it you have a burden to
reach out to those people because you
have the answer you have the authority
to speak on it because you've been there
right that's right that's right
absolutely Amen I would say let me ask
you this so here's a concept but I'm
gonna tell you some and it's not hard
ones this is just somebody and you know
organic conversation that comes up I had
a conversation with a friend of mine
shoutout to Drew Gower a good friend of
mine and so he you know he came up in
the church and I came up in the church
too for the most part but we'd hear
things and quotes and we'd repeat them
and now I still repeat them you know the
family that prays together stays
together and all of these things to have
a good godly marriage and all of these
things but like in the church like the
like the you know saying divorce rate is
is higher almost in the world right and
we have these things that like if you if
you're a Christian family everything's
gonna be good and that's how you make a
marriage work it takes three to make it
work you your spouse and God or Jesus
right and you hear all these cliche
quotes and stuff but then we look at
reality and my friend we grew up hearing
that stuff in saying it's like man I
know people in the world who who don't
attend church don't believe in God and
their marriages are beautiful they get
along they don't argue they don't fight
what would you say to those cliches
because I believe in the word I believe
in the truth of the Scriptures but we've
heard some of those cliches maybe it's
the principles maybe even those people
who are ungodly you may say or they're
just not churched or whatever but
they're naturally do keeping the
principles that the scripture talks
about to love one another
long-suffering listen to one another
those type things maybe that's what
makes it work versus just praying about
it or whatever the case says what do you
think about that well actually a lot of
things
so you know what we've got to remember
is that we don't live in heaven yet
we're not there yet you know it's not
perfect here and there is sin and so sin
creeps in I think a lot of Christians
they they try to live one foot in the
world and one foot outside the world and
that causes a lot of chaos because you
can't you can't do both but I also think
that you know you know again it comes
down to forgetting who we are you know
my wife did leave me and I and and and
there were reasons why but at the end of
the day she didn't have to we could have
gone through that struggle together now
thankfully God worked on her separately
me separately and brought us back
together so I mean the job had to be
done to get us God will always work
everything too good so even the divorce
God can make good but God didn't cause
the divorce the divorce is caused by sin
in either or both partners and and and
that was allowed to fester in whatever
way it was allowed to fester you know so
so we live in a fallen world so it's not
perfect and and I think Christians those
are those people that you mention that
weren't Christians that have great
marriages yeah they're doing a lot of
things right they're probably putting
each other above above themselves of
probably doing all the things that
scripture tells us to do just naturally
yeah that you know the Sun shines on the
evil and the good and good things happen
to bad bad things happen to good people
and good things happen to bad people and
you know that that's that's that's life
in a fallen world but the thing about
the gospel and the thing about God's
grace is no matter what we do no matter
how far we fall no matter how much we
mess up we're forgiven he allows us to
end if we will seek Him like we like I
did like whatever he will work it all
for good you know my story he brought me
and my wife back together again somebody
else's story may you may move them to
the next phase and and the right one
would be there you know I mean I I just
I don't know how God will work out each
thing you know you
Oh's my mind how he works in every he's
working in your life this morning and he
was working in my life this morning
housing in two places I'm he is crazy
but you know at the end of the day he
will bring good out of it and if we just
stick with them and allow him to work
through us and not try to do it all
herself that's the other thing
Christians I think forget that grace
means he came in and he already did the
job on the cross he did the job we don't
have to keep trying to do the job we
have to allow him to work through us and
sometimes we just try to keep control of
our lives and we don't truly release it
to him and let him flow through us guess
if we were flowing grace a lot of our
problems wouldn't be there you know but
but we were still fallen people you know
and and we need him every every time I
fail it's a reminder of just how much I
need him and it draws me closer to him
and my life gets better it's just just
it's kind of crazy the scripture again
and a perfect love casts out all fear is
AB is a beautiful scripture it helps it
helps me a lot get through the day get
through a situation fear is as
interesting the fear of the Lord you
know and then there's this weird thing
even from people who may not be familiar
with the Bible or they would hear ideas
like why do I want to serve a God that I
must fear they're thinking of this just
this you know Sam being afraid of that
he's gonna kill you like being afraid of
a monster or something right but there's
a there's a healthy fear right there's a
the scripture says that the fear of the
Lord is the beginning of wisdom the
figure of the Lord is to hate evil all
of these scriptures right but a perfect
love casting out all fears to is this
bad fear but people tend to say I don't
really believe this that talking about
Joby you know and all of these these
things that over came job and at least
for season he came he came through it
there's a lesson in that but I've heard
a lot of theologians say stuff like it
was because job
feared and those things came upon him he
says the things I feared have come upon
me and some people say that just because
he was afraid of it he would kind of
manifested or it came upon him I don't
really believe that but I do believe
that principle of fear which the acronym
for me false evidence appearing real
real we're entertaining these ideas that
don't exist like you said being real
possessive what if I lose her like oh
you play your cards like you're not
gonna lose her what if I lose my job
well if you good employee you lose you
know you're not gonna lose your job and
you start getting overtaken by these
fears and they're just ideas that don't
exist and essentially they exist in your
mind and you're gonna have stress from
those ideas of fear and in restlessness
and you're creating it all in your mind
you're playing out the scenarios your
body is even maybe responding to the
stress like you're going through it but
these are just crazy ideas that we have
to give to God so the scripture says
perfect love casts out all fear
what does that look like what would that
look like for you if you just have these
thoughts the thought forms are the
strongholds right how would that look
like for you to to let that perfect love
cast out fear is it in a moment of
Prayer is that in a moment of brokenness
of honesty of confession what would that
look like if somebody's dealing with
fear and they just said look I don't I
know this like it's resonating I don't
want it how would they give that up so
maybe the best way is an analogy you
know if my son yeah honest sled down the
hill okay and the hills really big and
he's a little afraid of it okay
and he's afraid of it but I look at it I
see the hills not too big I know in my
wisdom that he's not going to get hurt
if he does it so I pushed him a little
to do it if he goes down that hill and
then he doesn't get hurt he gets all
excited he had a lot of fun he comes
back and what he just learned to do was
trust the father okay when when we're
experiencing fear that's irrational
which most of our fear is
okay so the reverential fear that the
Bible talks about when in relation to
God is more of a reverential fear
there's a different Ebru and and Greek
word for them here that that grips us in
and keeps most of them up Christians and
bondage I think are in bondage to worry
doubt fear and at the core of that is
they're not embracing who they are
they're not embracing the truth they're
not trusting the Father enough and so
how do you fix that you go back to the
Father and you invite them back in again
to conquer the fear you can't you know
if I think oh man I hope this doesn't
happen or I keep if I tell you don't you
know don't think about banana you're
gonna start thinking about banana it's
just you do what you know so so if I sit
here and I say you know and I and I know
it's a fear and I know I need to break
through it or all weren't worried I go
to the scripture and I just I dive deep
back into the word whether it's in
prayer or in my Bible every morning and
I just I just remind myself I'm God's
son he loves me he's flowing through me
I have a spirit in me and I just and I
just move out and faith I step out of
the boat like Peter did I move out in
faith regardless of the waves I just
step out you know and and and that the
only way I noted and I don't know that I
know how to how to how everyone can do
it maybe it's different for everybody I
don't know but but I know that at the
core if we're afraid of something that
isn't really real which most fears are
then trusting the Lord enough and we've
got to get back to him some way shape or
form whether it's through prayer through
Scripture
now him to give us that strength and
confidence you know to be bold be strong
and courageous like he talks about
Joshua you know and and he'll give us
that power we don't have to do it
ourselves so moving us he's strong in
our weakness we just got to trust him
more and let him more into our lives a
bit more him and less of us will solve a
lot of problems yeah it's important I
believe man to get into the word and see
what the you know the scriptures say
about you like what God says about you
because like I always tell people that
you know saying new Christians I say
look
I know you on fire now but there's gonna
come a time where you might not feel
like reading the Scriptures you may not
you know you're getting too busy but I
said that's I believe that that's a
trick of the enemy to keep you out of
those scriptures because it reveals your
true identity and if you don't know who
you are then the world the fallen ones
can tell you who you are what to believe
what to look like what to represent what
you can be passionate about and what you
can't and so you lose your identity like
the longer you stay out of it and but
it's a hiding place man for those who
are going through the struggle those are
going through those trials and
tribulations to get into the word and be
reminded it's because we forget like you
can go through seasons of persecution of
just forgetfulness or struggle to feel
like you're all alone but as long as
you're reminded who you are and what the
truth is is what God says about you man
you're like you're like never be
forsaken when it comes to the washing of
the word because it's so easy man you
start believing the lies of the enemy of
the accusers of all of this stuff versus
like who God says you are like people
may call you a failure people may call
you a has-been you know you're washed up
all of these things and but you know God
says something different that's also
true both are true you whatever one you
believe it's up to you to make my
decision a my failure am I gonna sit in
that well if you do then that becomes
your reality versus you are fearfully
and wonderfully made I have great things
in store for you mister I'm good you
know I'm gonna take care of you I've got
a plan for a hope and a future to bless
you and to prosper you and which one do
you believe take your pick but you take
you take your pick whichever one you
want to go with you can connect that
reality and that's how powerful the
scriptures are chapter 3 of the book you
know it is about writing a match I don't
know if you've ever heard of that term
you know I first from from before I came
to the Lord I was a business guy sales
person and so I read books like the
greatest salesman in the world and some
of these things and they talk about the
most the easiest time to influence your
mind is right before you go to bed and
right
wake up in the morning if you paid
something over and over and over again
yourself just mine doesn't know if it's
truth or not it just begins to accept
whatever you repeat so if I say over and
over again I'm a loser I'm a loser on
the loser I'm gonna be thinking like a
loser but if I say over and over again
I'm God's precious and in God's sight or
and you know I'm fearfully one for me
and so chapter three helps you write
kind of from Scripture and from your own
experience kind of a paragraph or so
about who you are in Christ and then and
then and I still do it today I read it
every morning and night and and so those
words because I'm repeating them over
and over again every day those words
begin to take up more and more of my
thought process and I begin to move
towards Christ and towards a more godly
person and and all that and and so that
was a key point for me in my journey
back was was when when I realized Lao
instead of accepting the things that I
even felt inside you know when you get a
divorce you've not experienced it but
when you get a divorce man you feel like
you failed you feel like you're you know
you've disappointed God you feel like a
loop you know you you feel all these
things they're very real feelings and
you know if it's easy to sit and dwell
in them and stay there for a long time
and and but when God started revealing
me the truth through this word I'm like
I've got to write this down and as I
wrote it down I realized man I need to
start repeating this over and over and
over again and you know since then I've
rewrote it two or three times since the
books been published but actually just
recently in my my quiet time God led me
back to my original man chore that's in
the book and and I've been saying that I
read it this morning
you know arrows and and man God is just
moving in amazing ways in my life and
he's doing it because I'm reminding
myself more and more of who I am and him
instead of Who I am without him yeah all
things are possible you know they're so
funny like we would just meet me and my
wife we're just doing a little workout
and stuff and we're doing some planks
and it's hard and she's like I could do
all things through Christ who
strengthens me you know it comes second
nature versus like oh it's time to give
up yeah probably
you know you
kind of psych yourself up and out of it
but um am I in my bathroom in my mirror
I stood there with a marker and um my
silhouette and I just looked at my
reflection and wrote around me all the
scriptures and all the things that God
says about me I'm an overcomer I'm more
than a conqueror I'm destined to do
great things and all the Scriptures just
so when I stand there to brush my teeth
or whatever wash my face it's just all
these scriptures and words that just
kind of take all my Silhouette right
there that's the same that's the same
thought process you're reminding
yourself daily that's a really neat way
of doing it well I mean we were
commanded to do that in the scriptures
especially the Jewish people like these
new concepts he said look they would
wear them as necklaces around the necks
they would take promises of God and roll
them up he said you know have them as
frontlets in front of your eyes some of
them would wear the phylacteries on
their heads they would put them on on on
the doorpost of their home so whenever
they come home they would see it or
touch it and be reminded of God's
promises for them and and why would you
need to do that because you forget you
forget it's so easily that we forget you
know we have to we have to remain even
though God like raises us up out of our
brokenness and out of our dirt out of
our sin he raises us up we still have to
remain desperate it's this weird
dichotomy to know how much power in
authority and influence you have in the
earth as a son as a child of God but
know that without God you're nothing so
there's this weird place of being broken
yet powerful or broken yet beautiful
there's this weird thing to be there and
it's a weird balance to know how much
you have but outside of it outside of
God you're nothing man and it's a weird
balance that is Jesus said without
without the father I can do nothing so I
mean if if he said that but Who am I
just question that really you know just
just just understanding man that we
would like the power of confession you
know the power of belief and whatever
and you can
you know faith it's beautiful man and
and applying faith to every single level
or area of life that we're in it's the
same faith that takes us to it and
through it as well yeah you you talk
about love you some of the different
definitions and of love and stuff like
that and the different words that are
used in the Greek is a there's a bunch
of them you have like eros agape phileo
and I think story--a is some of the you
know some of the bigger ones that are
being used in that whole scripture where
Jesus is talking to Peter and he's like
do you love me yes you love me and he
keeps repeating do you love me but when
you break it down he's asking him like
each level of love I do love me like a
friend you love me like a brother
do you love me as someone who's willing
to die for me like he keeps getting
deeper and deeper with each level of
love that he's asking them about and so
when we break that down like you're
saying like it becomes so much more
beautiful these different levels of love
like because in the English I love pizza
I say I love my life my wife you know
but it's a different type of love in in
in the Greek and in Hebrew there's
different words that break that down and
so even looking at God's love for us
like you said and just exploring the
depths of to just sit in your in his
presence and be okay and you know if you
know just the different levels and to
explore that through prayer through
meditation whatever it is and just bask
in his love because there's so many
scriptures of love and having to do with
fear fear not I have not given you the
spirit of fear but a power of love and
power and of a sound mind and you
usually go handed him the love and fear
thing and so I remember up some years
ago in church there was I had a powerful
encounter and the pastor had us kind of
do like a little meditation just the
inward prayer and said look I want you
just to close your eyes and think about
the thing that you fear the most what is
it that's plaguing you you know what it
is each one of you it's something
different
think about that thing that's plaguing
you and whatever it was and for me it
was something personal and and I say
okay and on the count of three I just
want you to say God I give it to you and
release it give that fear to God and
just that going through that motion of
okay that's it giving it to God it was
just like breakthrough and that fear for
that area left man and it's so powerful
that one can experience that that God
has the power to open and shut those
doors and give us hid the spirit of his
love and of his grace to get us and
sustain us through not only the day but
you know each minute hour the week the
year like everything man his love and
sustains us but the further we get out
of that we're sorry' you know a lot of
people are like chameleons we just start
conforming to the people groups and
people who are around us and we start
repeating after them we start looking
like them dressing like them talking
like them right and and and that's
powerful in love itself because if
you're if you're walking in that love of
God then you're influenced and you
remain steadfast in your faith then
people will start copying you that
starts walking like you that's not
taking on your your your different
mannerisms and hopefully there's
something godly and some encouraging to
say hey I want to be like that one day
and I think it's the same way when we
hang with Jesus man when we hang with
him we saw talking like him we started
looking like him we saw loving like him
forgiving like him and we just take one
of those characteristics of love as well
the key is is spending time with him
it's a relationship and and you know I
do it through my morning quiet time and
and prayer in the morning and then you
know whenever I get a free moment my
mind immediately starts going to God so
like if I'm if I'm having a stressed out
day at work I might walk around the
building and when I'm walking around my
building outside I begin to talk to God
again and that just that just all right
settles me down and I can go back in and
attack my my whatever mountain is in
front of me you know and and we just
have to stay close to Father you know
the Christian life can be hard if you
try to do it without Jesus you know
shove in church on Sunday and that's it
we do a couple prayers and then you're
done yeah you know that's not gonna give
you the power of Christ flowing through
you to handle all these these issues
that we deal with because we deal with
stuff you know there
we live in a phone where we just deal
with stuff and everybody's got a tough
gig
but Christ can make it smooth and easy
his yoke is easy but we have to trust
him and release these earrings into part
of my mantra' one of the things that God
hit me with when I was writing my Manchu
was to release my children my wife and
everyone to him because that
control-freak part of me was still
trying to make sure I was on top
everything and and I would I was failing
you know I was failing as and trying to
control it all I couldn't do it all the
very best that Bryant Pierre could do
wasn't enough to do very well and and
and you know I had to have crepes come
in and do it but once I began to yield
that to him he's just made everything so
much more smooth I think I have a great
life right now and things are just
really flowing nicely for me
that doesn't mean I'm devoid of stuff
you know happening but it's just so much
easier when you let Jesus handle it you
know you got this Lord I'm gonna trust
you you know and one of the chapters in
there
chapter 5 talks about different ways the
Satan uses to Travis and one of them is
it keeps reminding us of our failures
and trying to bring back you know who
all our mess-ups is saying see you don't
deserve this you know when I was getting
back together with my wife I was afraid
that it would happen again and it was
actually my wife we were we're at that
dinner trying to reconnect this marriage
and we were at dinner and and I was
saying little little jabbing things to
remind her of the past you know and it
was just another way of me trying to
control through fear you know he opened
up my own book and started reading
chapter 5 the part about fear back to me
reading my own words back to me and I
was like you're right
I'm afraid and I just released it right
then and that allowed me to to move past
we don't we just don't bring up that
that past it's it's done it's you know I
not only have to forgive or I have to
forget as she does me and and we just
don't bring up that it's in the past
it's we're not gonna plunge it up and
you know I think when you hat when you
have hurt and
hurt each other you have to do that
Christ when he forgives us he puts it as
far as the east to the west he doesn't
hold it against us it's truly gone and
we have to if we're gonna model I do the
same thing with each other and not
forgive but forget and move it away and
not keep bringing it up out of fear that
it might happen again just release it to
God and then trust that he'll make sure
it doesn't happen again you know and so
far he you know he he always he always
comes through for me
you know so that's that's my own
experience that I don't care if someone
doesn't believe in Christ I've seen it
I've seen him move in my life matter
there's things that I can't explain you
know and you know I just I'm just
thankful that I was introduced to him
and and I asked him into my heart
because it's a tough world without him
you know it really is yeah being able to
I don't I don't understand that man like
I love how people can continue to carry
their burdens or like go to you know hit
rock bottom and stay there like you
don't have it that's the lonely place I
know people who hit rock bottom and they
don't they just they just dwell in it
man they're okay you know they can
they're cut they're used to it it
becomes normal you know that type of
lifestyle or whatever but right it's a
habit it becomes a habit self-loathing
and and that that that kind of pain you
get can become a habit you get used to
it it's almost a comfort zone and it's a
bad comfort zone but it's still a
comfort zone and and you know the only
way I know how to break out of that
comfort zone is is is through Christ and
just accepting his truth and just think
still bringing that truth in and just
reminding yourself of that truth until
until you come out of it you know it I
guess there's some people who are so
strong-willed they can just break out of
it but but if you're falling into that
negative spiral you're not strong enough
to break out of it so you need Christ
you need someone to step in with the
hand and that's where where our job as
believers is to when we see that you
know
that bin with love and and just say hey
man you know God loves you I know you
don't feel lovable but God loves you and
and you're beautiful to him you know and
then just just just if enough people
touch him maybe that'll that will help
him - yeah yeah what does the
description says that uh love I mean it
says a lot about love but love keeps no
records of wrong I mean God is love what
is it uh love covers a multitude of sins
it's actually I'm looking for and
there's I think we're yeah they read it
every wedding right what are some of the
testimonies from people who have read
the book have to have people as is it is
it working like is it is it doing this
job that it was created to do
everyone who's read the book has said
it's positively impacted them
it's truly changed my wife's life and
it's truly changed my my life and if
that was the only purpose of reading the
book of writing the book then then it
was victorious in and of itself I wish
more people heard it read it I really
think it can truly help people there's
lots of good books out there this one's
small you could you can read it in 30
minutes but but if you do the things
that are in it it could take you weeks
to to do but it can transform your life
it transformed mine I believe God laid
the chapters out there's only five
chapters and and you know it's maybe a
hundred pages it's it's but it's very
powerful and you know people rave about
it who who've read it and it you know
it's it is published by a publisher but
it was a non-profit publisher so there's
no like support or anything so yeah I
have to sell it you know or God has to
move in enough people to tell enough
people to do to do stuff so you know I'm
just hopeful that he will but you know I
wrote another book ten years ago and it
and I didn't I was only able to sell if
you death it really I think you'd like
it talks about being real about how
people in the church try to hide and
don't really be real and truthful and
and so it only sold whatever I could get
it sold because I self-published that
one yeah but 10 years later man when I
when I was done writing this book I went
to a friend of mine Bill Prince and he
shared with me that he'd been given out
my book the first one I wrote and a
church had actually taken that book got
convicted and and and the church was
about to splinter and it ended up coming
back together and that book changed that
church and now they're running a
thousand people and it's and it's
growing and my book was a catalyst to
that that happened right after I had
finished this book and I was like it's
it's it was it was God clearly telling
me keep doing what you're doing I've
gifted you to write you just keep
writing and just doing it and worry
about the timeline with me you know let
me handle the timeline so I think
whoever needs to read it hopefully will
read it and I think it will change a
life and it's changed mine it's good
stuff and you call it a instead of a
self-help book you call it a God help
book book right that's right that's
right I really think he laid it out I
mean for example I'm sitting there at a
radio station about to do a interview
for my business my commercial business
okay and on the table there this is
during that the two months that I wrote
the book on the table there is a book by
a preacher named Adrian Rogers now now
this is a secular radio station right
and there's this Christian book there
and as I started reading through the
book I'm like wow it was talking about
all the things about God and what he
says about us and everything and I'm
like you know what I asked him if I
could take the book you know with me
because there were so many great
thoughts in there that I thought should
be in my book you know and and and she
said sure no one's looked at that book
forever there was dust on it you know so
I took it home and I read through that
book and it inspired a lot of the first
two chapters were inspired from but God
just laid that on me while I was doing
an interview for something else you know
and he just brought the pieces to
gather and the chapters just trying to
laid out together and and I'd have an
aha and then that would be chapter three
and then you know and then and then as I
started doing chapter four about the
prongs that that we should only focus on
two or three things God just laid it all
out I mean I really feel like God laid
out the whole book for me and you know
obviously it was me typing it but I I
went back and read it two weeks ago and
there are some points in there I'm like
wow that's good stuff I forgot I'd
written it right we forget stuff you
know I you can even forget something
you've written know and I'm like wow I
really felt like there parts of that
book that I didn't even write that God
was flowing through me when I wrote it
and I was just dictating what I was
being told in my head you know did you
have a certain ritual that you would do
when you wrote did you by any chance
wake up early to write or did you when
it came to you like how did how was the
process my favorite thing to do is get
away somewhere and like just take a day
and write but but but in in real life I
have to feed my family so I had to work
and so what what I would do is in the
mornings when I was inspired I would I
would write you know and then on
weekends if I had a few hours where the
kids were asleep or whatever I would
write I'm an early riser most of my kids
there ended the teenage years now
they'll sleep till 11 or 12 on a
Saturday and asked I have the morning
kind of where I can I can ride and and
so on I just fit it in around it you
know it's not my career so I had to fit
it in wherever but I mean it I had it
written within to wait two months and
and it was published like two months
later so um the publisher was already
laid out when I finished the book that
that friend of mine Bill Prince said I
just negotiated something with the
publisher to publish it for free and I'm
like cool so I already had a publisher
lined up it was like God laid out
everything he just opened every door it
just I mean it was five months from the
thought in my head to when it was when
it was published
that's quick for a book yeah I thought
it was funny like I
did an interview like two days ago and
the guy I put out a book in two weeks
they thought I was gonna take them dogs
gonna take him three years to write they
wrote it in two weeks but the publisher
he wasn't playing like they didn't do no
editing either like they yeah he wrote
it they gave it to him he said don't
touch it you know I wanted to be
authentic my authentically my story and
he's changing the world
don't you know being flowing out
different places sharing about his book
so it's the thing was like when you know
I guess it's manifestation it can happen
fast we have this we scared to take on
these projects I'm gonna miss the
writing a book to another one and but
I'm not rushing anything I'm cool with a
year two year three years I just wanted
to kind of just be organically slow but
there's something about manifestation
man when you believe in something you
sit down and write it something the Lord
told me a couple of weeks ago I've been
sharing it's just like just pick up your
pen and start start creating it you
because we're like so analytical we want
to have all the chapters how it's gonna
look maybe even the cover even before we
start you know that's cool if you do but
just start writing it and I'll give it
to you as you write I'm gonna continue
getting a little bit that you have out
of here so I can put more in there and
keep going and I've been just sharing
that with people that's how this started
I didn't know how many I didn't know how
many chapters it was gonna be I didn't
have it laid out I just started with
what God told me and then he gave me the
next chapter and he gave me the next
chapter and five chapters is all it
needed and it was done and I felt it was
done and you know sir it exactly what
you're saying is how this book was
written it just I didn't have a plan I
just I just started writing out of my
hurt and helped me through that hurt to
victory and that's that's awesome to you
say that because like you find a lot of
people like I was talking like that
that natural empathy that you get when
you go through stuff you're gonna
naturally want to help people who are
going through that and you now feel like
you have authority to speak on it you
know I feel like you have a passion for
that for people who are hurting in a
similar way you know and that's just
naturally where you go to people talk
about your ministry what's my calling he
usually sends you back to
the same type of people or situations
that you came out out of with a message
you know and and being just a picture of
him turning your mess into a message as
well that's what Jeff takes bro some
things and make makes them beautiful
Bryan I enjoyed this conversation man
let everyone know where they can pick up
a copy of the book I will put the links
in the description but for those who are
just listening letter by nobody go check
out a copy of the book it's available on
Amazon so you go to amazon.com and if
you type in perfect love by Bryan peered
it'll pull up it'll be the first thing
that pulls up and and I just click on it
in order it through Amazon it's where
you can get it good stuff man thank you
for hanging out with me brother I really
appreciate it we have to do it again let
me know when you got something else in
the works okay sounds good Thank You Man
all right god bless God Bryan part
ladies and gentlemen perfect love casts
out all fear really does it's powerful
scripture if you find yourself getting
afraid dealing with the spirit of fear
fear is a spirit it's not just an idea
it's a thought form thought pattern
spiritual wickedness in high places we
deal with a stronghold just what the
Bible calls them it's funny he's talking
about like these different levels and
then you know I talked about it a couple
times on here but like the first time
like God spoke to me through the
television was I was watching an episode
I stay at home sick from work and I was
just flipping through the TV and uh I
just stopped on Sesame Street stopped on
Sesame Street I don't know why God said
stop and it was it was baby bear and
papa bear and Papa Bear was teaching
baby bear how to roller skate and it was
dealing with fear fear of the calling
for me it was just how it was translated
fear of the calling fear of the unknown
but he's like a Papa Bear dealing with
baby bear says put on your skates that's
I'm gonna teach you how to skate he's
like no I'm gonna fall down I'll fall
down it's like no you won't fall down
but well even if you do I'm gonna catch
you
if you fall down I'm gonna catch you in
this like it became this weird
conversation of me sitting on my couch
at home tears coming down my face and
God speaking that to me I'm like no I
don't wanna fall down I say you know
what you're gonna fall down but you're
gonna get back up and then I'll be there
to catch you he said eventually you're
gonna learn to skate by yourself you're
gonna be good you're gonna get so good
at it you're gonna be able to skate by
yourself and you won't even worry about
falling down and but I'll always be with
you and I'll teach you and it's like man
it was just like this God encounter
watching Sesame Street years ago it was
so it was so beautiful and personal to
me and but it's always about dealing
with that fear letting go of the things
that that scare you you know fear is
usually in opposition of faith false
evidence appearing real entertaining
ideas that don't exist man I can't tell
you how many times I've like done
something and then you just fear the
repercussions and nothing happens that's
right you're like man I went through all
that freaking out for nothing and then
it applies everywhere like you're gonna
be a person of faith or you're gonna be
a person of fear losing your job that's
scary right use that those setbacks as a
slingshot to walk in your destiny to
build the life that you want for
yourself all of these stuffs are
stepping stools man they're bricks
step on them go from one level to the
next that's what it's about moving to
those higher states and creating the
life that you want for yourself you have
to learn in every situation wherever you
are you have to learn from that stuff
huge shout out to john santiago he who's
been a huge supporter for for some time
now and actually came down the other day
and we had a really good time he came
bearing gifts and we had fun he brought
a bunch of gifts and stuff for me and my
family and we went in filmed an
interview i was supposed to interview
tuesday's this while we didn't do a show
i was supposed to interview
Calvin Parker from Pascagoula UFO
abductee and but he lives close just
like 30 minutes to an hour away so
anyway I put it out there on a podcast
hey I need to do it in person I wish I
had somebody to film it I might I'm
thinking about doing it and then John
said hey I'll come down and help you I'd
do it it's like okay so John came down
John Santiago he drove like five and a
half hours from Memphis to mobile and we
went over there and film Calvin and part
in person so we did the true seeker
podcasts in person on location it was
really fun we got to it was just a whole
nother level man it unlocked a lot of
stuff within me you know for the future
and just moving forward but yeah so
shout out to John Santiago and it's out
to his wife for letting him come and
watching the kids and stuff like that so
that he can come out here and build with
me but we really enjoyed it that episode
is going to debut tomorrow morning so
we're gonna do a it's already uploaded
but it's going to be the premiere so
YouTube will premiere it and we'll be
able to hang out in the chat so I'll be
hanging out in the chat 8 a.m. Central
Friday morning if you're listening to
this on the podcast app then it's
already out go listen to it you can
listen to the episode but watch the
video so that was like an in-person
video so there's some cool editing and
cool camerawork that John did set it up
and just a huge blessing so we're gonna
watch that tomorrow as it appear
premieres at 8 a.m. Central and the chat
will be up the live feed in the chat so
we can hang out and discuss topics and
open chat while that's going on so yeah
I'm excited about that
excited about the future working with
John man and just everything that God's
doing is we're gonna be doing an episode
together - we've had to reschedule but
we're gonna we're gonna get a date
really soon next couple days probably
I'll be on Jon's podcast so check out
his podcast John Santiago raw and so
we'll be doing an interview over there
probably talking about some of the stuff
behind the scenes and I'm pretty sure
he's got some hard questions for me -
really
go deep on this spirituality and in
these higher realms and stuff like that
sort of be good so anyway I'll see you
guys tomorrow morning if you're watching
live this is so weird because I'm
talking to you into now then I'm talking
to the people later and I can never get
a hold of this it usually works out fine
if I release the episodes quick right if
I put the episode out the same day or
the next day which happens sometimes but
I've been doing quite a bit and I'm a
couple episodes behind and some of them
have skipped the lines so we're gonna
win this weird place right now which
sometimes happens I remember when I
first started doing this I got I was
doing so many episodes I was doing three
a week and for some reason I was like
May 8th
and some of them would stay like private
a month before I did all the SEO and
releasing them to the podcast so I don't
want to get that far behind again
because I had to do a lot of work to
just get everything released but um
we're a few days behind through a few
days behind but um it's all good I enjoy
hanging out with the company in
real-time and in the chat but I always
wonder how does that feel for people
listening on the podcast and because
honestly more people listen on the
podcast in but I enjoy the community
here on the live stream on YouTube it's
really interesting touching both worlds
and it's really cool to connect it
there's some people listen to the
podcast and they can eventually catch a
live stream and then they see all the
names because I'll call out names and
all that stuff and so people are finally
join the chat oh that's chris bars
that's Santiago that's Christie folks
you know that's Chris you know garner
all these people hanging out so kind of
meeting them and it's just awesome like
what we've been building within our
personal discord we have our
conversations all the time
John Santiago who's been a part of that
it's just really cool to begin to just
to kind of move out to meet people
because I've just been doing all this
stuff at Ground Zero
you know from bunker in my own my home
and um but it's really cool to finally
get out there and meet people like when
we're doing traveling I met you know
Joshua lumen which I interviewed him and
he's been a supporter and he's
hang out in the discord and all that
kind of stuff and then seeing people at
events right being able to meet people
in person meet John Santiago actually
drive out there and interview Calvin
Parker and in person it's a whole nother
level and I really feel like we're gonna
be doing more of that coming up here
soon so if anybody wants to book me out
to do something let me know we'll try to
make it happen if we want to do a live
podcast a healing session a concert
whatever it is you want to do we're in
I'm in talks with John Santiago right
now about him bringing me out to Memphis
so if that's close to your area be
looking forward to that so we'll
definitely be doing a lot of promo for
that Heather wants to know how do we
connect and discord if you if you're
listening to this on the podcast app or
YouTube if you scroll down there's a
link there that says join the discord it
should be a link it should be a
hyperlink you should just be able to
click it and it'll pop up either on your
phone or on the computer so it's a text
app where you can just text back and
forth with people or there's voice chat
well in you can listen to music together
and all that kind of stuff it's a really
cool way to embrace technology to engage
community and build community together
and we need it man
we all need it so I love it this court
is awesome my community's awesome we're
its family and it's cool to finally meet
people in person
soft everybody sound out the fluent in
chat yeah it's in it's in the
description so with that I'm gonna say
peace and Shalom man if you guys don't
know some of you I try to send out
updates make sure you subscribe to my
email list and all that stuff but I put
out a couple free guided meditations
well they're not God they're not
meditations they're more like scripture
affirmations so dealing with a couple of
different things I just put out two new
ones I did a spiritual warfare one and I
did a recorded prayer with music in the
background of those who were facing a
battle going through spiritual warfare
needing deliverance and just that
personal refreshing you can download
those there's also two more that's the
financial
these are just reading the scriptures
about how God has has you taken care of
just like we're talking about today like
the power of the scripture the power of
these beautiful affirmations having them
read over you as truth and in reshaping
your mind because repetition reduces
resistance and the more that you hear
something over and over even if it's in
passing even if it's on the radio turn
down those lyrics are just gonna keep
coming back even when you don't want
them to come back man you know and you
have to unlearn those things but the pot
the positive affirmations in the
scriptures man that just unlock things
with Dennis it's true so just you know
the Bible says thy Word is truth and the
word is life the word is alive there's
something about not just hearing it and
saying oh yeah that's just encouraging
to hear but it like it has the power to
move through you man to wash you to wash
you with the word to build your faith to
move out and to believe for greater
things and embrace the day with what you
know without fear and with faith so
reading those scriptures or having them
play in the background of your day of
your commute whatever it is man there's
some free ones on there that's unpaid
wants to there's a chakra tomb and that
I have on there as well as the guided
throne room meditation so all of that's
on my Gumroad page those links all
should be in the descriptions as well if
you want to check those out you can get
the free ones or the the other ones are
a little bit different those are more
guided there's more work that goes into
creating them like I said I hired voice
actors to come in and play certain
characters in the meditation and it's
pretty much like a whole experience like
a immersive experience that takes you on
a journey with characters that come in
and it's really cool I'm and tears
writing those things and that's the
beauty of it that I can have an
encounter with God through that stuff
and trap it in the recordings the same
thing with the music you know talk about
these different encounters that I've had
and just kind of bring them to life and
share them with others through the
recording bring them to life so that's
the idea there and it's working getting
so much feedback from those things
Alys in the chat she says Kinney and I
found the affirmations very helpful
against doubt and fear that's what's up
good stuff so yeah check that stuff out
all of its on my patreon - I'll make
sure I keep patreon updated if you want
